Pros: A beautiful house with a charming hostess. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast delicious with home made apricot jam made by Patricia, the owner. There's a good sized pool which was lovely to cool off in after a hard day's bike ride. The rooms were spotless with lovely crisp white bed linen.
Cons: Whilst it didn't bother us as were a group of friends, the rooms share a bathroom so that the people in the twin bedded room have to walk through the double bedded room to get to the bathroom, so this set up might be more suitable for families.
Pros: The property has charm and character and the rooms are lovely. Our room was spotlessly clean and the shower room looked brand new, with a fabulous big shower head. The bed was big and really comfortable. We had a kettle and a good choice of tea and coffee in the room, plus a carafe of cold water. We chose a room with a balcony, it was lovely to sit outside and relax and take in the mountain view. Great breakfast which amongst other things includedsome tasty local bread and homemade yoghurt Patricia was an excellent host, she was very helpful and gave us some useful tips on the local area.
Cons: Nothing at all to dislike
Pros: Comfortable bedding nice outlook over the valley, Patricia is super friendly made us feel at home. Tasty continental breakfast
Cons: Not much in the immediate vicinity restaurant wise - I would recommend to book dinner ahead at the chalet (we sadly hadn’t)
Pros: Fantastic view from the hotel room
Pros: Nice place and Nice host at The foot of the Pyrenees.
Pros: The location was near to walks and other facilities. The owner was very welcoming and provided excellent evening meals and breakfasts.
Cons: Overall very happy with stay.
Pros: Patricia, the owner. She’s charming and made us feel at home. The place, phantastic views and warming house.
Pros: The hospitality, the beautiful interior and exterior. The owner is very friendly and cookes delicious food.
Pros: The breakfast provided was excellent! The host was very welcoming!

Pros: Spectacularly good! Beautiful location, amazing host, clean and comfy, delicious breakfast (Karine provides gorgeous homemade delights!). Highly recommend, would love to go back.
Cons: Nothing not to like!
Pros: The place is isolated, right inside the forest. Green around. The place is renovated and large. The hostess is charming and generous.
Cons: you need to drive to the village to eat
Pros: Great service, lovely room, went the extra mile and booked us into a restaurant for an evening meal. Clean and tidy. Will go again.
Cons: The bread was really hard and dry for breakfast and no butter so I couldn't eat it. No other food so had glass of orange juice and a coffee without milk as I don't think they use it either. Was beautifully set up though before they left for work early morning.

Pros: Unbelievable value for money. One of the best dinners I have had in France
Pros: Location is nice
Cons: Host attitude, trying to impose having dinner at their restaurant
Pros: What a find. We booked blind from booking.com as it was nearest to our location. On our arrival through spectacular views through the winding mountain roads we were greeted warmly and despite having no French the hosts accomodated us. The menu was small and the food was excellent. Highly recommended this venue. Lovely dog and donkeys too. Fantastic establishment.
Cons: Everything. I have nothing to recommend.
Pros: The owners were welcoming, food was excellent and room clean & comfortable
Cons: Our stay had nothing we didn't like.
Pros: Dinner was amazing! One of the best meals on our entire trip across the Pyrenees. We were a bit hesitant to stay at the top of a pass (Col de Mente), meaning we had to climb 9.3km at the end of the day, but it was completely worth it. I would highly recommend staying there. The views were also fantastic.
Cons: I had booked 3 rooms (2 doubles, 1 twin) and there was a little mix up in registration, however I think it may have been a miscommunication between them and booking.com because it happened a couple of times on our trip.
Pros: Budget accommodation with a surprisingly good restaurant. Family friendly and easy going.
Cons: Lots of flies . Maybe because of the donkeys living close to the Auberge.

Guests have access to the wellness area at an extra cost. Skiing, cycling and hiking are among the activities that guests of Le Solayan can find nearby. Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées Airport is 112 km away.
Pros: Beautiful natural environment and friendly staff/owners.
Cons: The diner menu was a disappointment and completely overpriced for what was offered. The 'salad' was just lettuce with nothing else and was were already a bit brown. They served us burned croutons. The breakfast was a bit better but nothing special. The room was stuffy and our bathroom was two floors down, which was not convenient.
Pros: The hospitality, helpfulness and generally everything else was great!
Cons: The windows didn't open so it was a bit humid at night.
