The whole hotel needs a makeover.
Sauna or gym was not free. This is unusual for 5 star hotel. Very disappointed.
location was good.stsffs were very kind.
room was not so big
Older style hotel
aged, something foul ordor.
early check-in, kind staff
outdated in all aspects.
Front desk staff
Great service, friendly staff who spoke good English.
Building and room were a bit dated.
Too small bath and not good location which takes 10 minutes from metro by walk
Staffs were very helpful at any time when the question came up.
The entire building needs some renovation for sure.
Location and Staffs
They didn't have proper HVAC system, it's early November and hotel didn't have heating available when temperature is around mid 40's. They just couldn't get the heating to work.
Great customer service.
The most important aspect of a hotels a good night sleep. This hotel was perfect in every aspect (service, cleanliness, bed comfort, etc.) except the air conditioning only operated between about 2pm and 12 midnight. See below.
The Cleanliness, staff and the location was ideal for my business trip.
Everything from the location to the staff to the room! Everything was amazing! Also a plus was you had an option of smoking or not smoking in your room
I honestly have no complaints about this place
The hotel is clean and comfortable, but it ssems a lit bit out dated, need a renovation.
Very nice hotel, not as modern as others, but very good service from the staff. Many reasonable restaurants in the area open late as well as plenty of coffee shops. Short distance to shopping and entertainment. Airport bus stops right outside.
As mentioned by others, the hotel is between two subway stations, and a bit of a walk to either station.
the staffs were very kind and the room was very clean, the location is goooood.
it needs to be remodeled as soon as possible. too out of date.
room was too hot and can't control air-conditioning
Disappointing for a 5 star
The rooms of the hotel do not qualify for a 5-star hotel. At best 3.5. I would pay no more than---for this.
The rooms were clean.
Location was a little bit far
Staff was very kind.
Facilities are too old. I think Priceline should adjust number of stars for this hotel. I think 4 or 4 and 1/2 is just enough.
Location was decent.
From the outside and general spaces they were fine. However, the rooms and the hallways were ancient. The furnishings were from the early 90s. Doormen were not helpful in giving directions to the taxi drivers.
Location, friendly staff, comfortable Clean rooms
Nothing. I wish that I didn't book the name of your own price. I stayed Sheraton D Curb for two nights with Orbits, the best hotel and best location.
The hotel is so old never renovated for the past 20 years. far away from everything. I had to take taxi every day.
Hotel room is too old. This hotel services and room can't be a five stars hotel.
Staff was very professional and comfortable.
The rooms need to be upgraded. Especially the carpets. It felt uncomfortable walking on them barefoot.
It's easy to find and has good accessibility to go around Gangnam.
quite old accommodation facility comparing to the price
Great location and great stay ovarall but the wireless network is slow and given the rates on this hotel, I think internet should be offered for free. Other than that it was a great stay in Seoul.
The renaissance seoul (like every renaissance property I've visited) is a large, well equipped hotel offering many amenities. We had a room with a nice view and made use of the Pool, gym, spa, laundry and restaurant facilities. All were top notch. I would recommend this hotel to a friend - especially as a first stop after a 14-hour flight from the East Coast of the US.
I've stayed several times as the hotel is convenient to my Seoul office. But no way I make this my first choice when visiting Seoul. Everything, from drinks in the lobby to breakfast to internet access leaves one feeling ripped off at the end as the charges quickly add up. Service is OK but not exceptional. Rooms can be noisy to street traffic as well as neighboring rooms. Rooms are 3-star at best. I've stayed at 3~4 star hotels in Seoul that are half the price and just as nice. The gym is nice and one of the few things you don't have to pay extra for. If you want 5-star accommodations, spend the extra $ or so on a legit 5-star property. Unless location meets a specific requirement, just no reason to choose this hotel.
Great hotel with attentive and professional service located in Seoul and extensive F & B outlets for choice. Service is exceptional good.
The Renaissance Seoul Hotel is the best place to stay in Seoul due to its prime location, lively lobby decor, wonderful dining experiences in the Cafe and tranquil surroundings around the hotel with easy access to commercial centres.
My stay was very pleasant due to the attentive service by the staff. Desk manager greeted me personally. Great location for business, and very very very clean hotel with decoration of local decor. Dinner at the grill restaurant was absolutely the best dining experience with great quality of food and service. Can recommend to any business traveler to Gangnam area
Arriving at my room, I was suprised at the condition of the room. For a ''5 star'' category, I would rate this hotel at a 3 star at best. The lobby is newly renovated and looks nice but rooms need work.Everything in this hotel is overpriced! $13 per hour for Internet and minibar way overpriced! (and I am from New York). I would not recommend this hotel
