Very impressed with the welcome and friendliness of all the staff. Lovely bedroom overlooking the lake and the golf course. Excellent restaurant. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
I found the attention of the staff, absolutely without exception, to be totally professional. The service, facilities and meals were first class. I have no reservation in recommending this hotel.
The staff were incredibly friendly.
The staff was excellent, very helpful. The hotel is a bit old, but reasonably well kept. Small rooms by American standards. The food in the restaurant was mediocre.
Stunning location (view from the bedroom window straight out at castle over river); friendly and helpful staff; dinner excellent. We stayed on a cold November night but were warmed by both the welcome and the room. Josselin is a treasure. I was visiting the area in preparation for organising a visit to the Morbihon next year and picked this hotel just as a base, but am now tempted to use it for our future tour.
Friendliness of staff, walks around Josselin and good food - very comfortable beds! Room a little small and no view even although we booked some time ago.
Pretty setting and facilities were good value for money. Bar not open on Sundays and Mondays.
Location is wonderful, staff helpfull and friendly, a perfect place to visit. My second visit and I look forward to more. No
Best place to visit the Castel and sweet pictural small french city. Recommended - uniqe view is promissed
Room with a view of the Chateau was wonderful. Excellent cuisine and choice at evening dinner. Staff in general were rather serious in their approach to clients. Although a very well run hotel - a more friendly approach would be welcomed, especially by the proprietor.
Right across river from chateau with openable large windows; restaurant food quality very good and reasonably priced especially given it was in mid March. Parking very well signposted with very large sign. Bed comfortable and room very quiet since it faced out on to river. Owners very friendly and tried hard to please.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. I felt very welcomed. I was only there one night but would definitely go back.
We were house hunting
Good dinner. Welcoming staff. A bit of a drag to go from Lancelot to Roi Arthur for booking in or out, for meals and all facilities.
We were a group of 7 cyclist and the hotel was by the green cycle way from St Malo and we were going to La Baulle It was just in the right place and there were rooms for 3-5 people We enjoyed the evening meal.
An interesting experience! Very historical, set in the middle of a fascinating and mediaeval town. Possibly more of a Creperie with rooms, even though the rooms were meant to be at the luxury end of the market. The staff were sweet and very friendly. Rather quaint in a rather rustic way. We seemed to be the only guests. We were not put into the room we had booked, but were moved to a better room, which again was not one we had booked. The room we had booked was apparently occupied although we never saw any other guests! I think a change of staff was in progress. The bed was made, but nothing else done (i.e. changing towels etc) and it was not the quietest of places, being right on the street, where traffic is allowed except between 2 pm and 7 pm - on cobbled streets. I felt the price only reflected the position of the hotel, rather than it's facilities. Unlike England, no facilities in the room (eg coffee/tea making or even a TV). Disappointed on the whole, but would imagine Americans would love it!
Loved the huge room, the wonderful view onto the main square of the town, and delicious crepes at breakfast.
