10.0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent stay at Casa di Mariano. The room was splendid, the location was superb and the property was great value or money. Marylis and Jean Marc were charming hosts and their care and suggestions as to where to go over our four days with them proved extremely helpful.

Pros: Very friendly hosts, nice pool, decent breakfast and easy access to Ajaccio.
Cons: Toilet is located within the bedroom.
7.5 Good
Pros: The owners are very nice. Coffee was good, internet worked very well.
Cons: I did not realize that the bathroom was part of the bedroom, not separated by a wall and door. The breakfast was exactly the same all 3 mornings....no variety. Room was not attended to even though we stayed 3 nights.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool for a dip during the very hot weather we experienced. We had separate attached houses with mezzanine bedrooms. Lots of space and with good air conditioning. Friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast on the terrace. We were just passing through, en route to the countryside near Bastia, but could see this would be a good base to visit north of Ajaccio. Very easy to get to from the airport.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, with iron provided in room which was perfect for the dress shirts for the wedding. Rain shower head in bathroom was very nice and dual sinks perfect for couples. The breakfast was definitely very fulfilling compared to others I have had. They provide a decent assortment, nice outdoor terrace area with sea view and access to beach. Fresh orange juice maker and some local Corsican cakes topped it off for me as I have a slight sweet tooth. Personalised message from the family that was hand written. Access to beach few steps away and a patio in our room which was just gorgeous. Close by to a tourist attraction which is a tower by the coast.
Cons: The jacuzzi could have been hotter in our room but that could be due to us not knowing how to tweak the machine. Would recommend wearing sandals indoors to keep feet clean. Shower is a wonderful rain shower but no ridges means the spillover water could get the floors quite wet. Key provided was on a bulbous ball of yarn which was a bit cumbersome to place in pockets - but that's just me nitpicking!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was nice, Omelette and Crêpes were made at live Cooking station located at sea front. It’s a boutique hotel with 12 rooms so relaxation and privacy are given. The infinity pool in front of the sea is amazing! The staff was very kind.
Cons: However, lunch and dinner are good but quite expensive. The rooms are all “suites” and nice. A hit disappointing to have only one bathroom sink in the junior villa for that price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely and sweety hotel run by a warming and friendly family. Magnificent view, good location near the beach. Unforgottern memory! Excellent experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing property, very clean and new. you feel like you live in your own villa. the size of the room is big with very nice interior and terrace. We stayed with 3,5 years old kid and she had a separate sofa. there are just a few rooms with shared swimming pool and very nice beach. Lots of restaurants are just a few minutes away by car. I really recommend this hotel, would love to come back
7.0 Good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Warmest welcome we had in Corsica. We liked the pool and the relaxed atmosphere. Also the tip for the restaurant at Porto Pollo was great and the lovely breakfast in the morning. We highly recommend I CASILARI to all travellers especially couples. Thank you for the hospitality! Stefano and Emiliano
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and very helpful host. Breakfast was very enjoyable especially all the house made products we were offered. Great little inexpensive restaurant across the road for dinner. Handy location for lots of day trips. Not far from Porto Pollo Beach and other beautiful beaches are only a short drive away. The rooms are spacious and modern.
Cons: We loved everything about this place. It was hard to find fault with anything.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden, very friendly host, cleanliness, good starting point for discovering south of Corsica, small, but nice swimming pool souronded by lovely lemmon trees and oleander plants, homemade jams, cakes, yougurts served for breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely nice host and lovely surroundings (loved all the flowers). Clean and neat room and nice bathroom. Homemade breakfast. We got lots of great advice on where to go, what to do and where to eat. Do not miss Jacqueline and Francois, great restaurant (advice from the host). We had missed to bring cash for the room and there are no ATM:s close by, but we solved it and he was very relaxed about it. He also let us stay after we checked out. Wonderful hospitality! We highly recommend this place!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean comfortable room. Beautiful garden and nice small pool.
Cons: A kettle in the room would have been good.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Les Terrasses Du Grand Large in Serra-di-Ferro, you'll be connected to a shopping center, within a 10-minute drive of Filitosa Corsican Prehistoric Site and Plage de Porto Pollo. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cery friendly owners Tomy and Francesco, good restaurants im walking distance, very quiet place
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners were responsive to our needs. We got upgraded for free to a better room without even asking which was very helpful given our small child. There was a nice beach nearby. Overall, the place was very calm and nice. I recommend the village and the hotel.
Cons: There is nothing really to complain about. There is a road in front of the hotel but traffic is very limited especially in the evening/ at night.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice and modern two bedroom apartment with terrasse and view to the sea. Apartment and the house are functional and clean. There is a heated swimming-pool, parking lot is included, apartment has WiFi and tv. The place seems to be run by a family (the brothers we met were very nice).
Cons: There was a persistent smell of sewers in the apartment during our stay, very unpleasant. There is a road just in front of the house and it’s a busy one so if you want the sea view you will also have trafic noise at the same time. The mother of the family that hosted us was not so cool, she insisted on kicking us out as soon as possible the day of our departure although we negotiated with one of her sons to depart at 10:30am instead of 10am.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool.
Cons: The sofa bed was very uncomfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the shower was very nice and you had all the facilities that you would need. Nespresso machine, dishwasher, oven,...
Cons: We were given a ground floor apartment at the back of the accommodation and we had NO view and barely any sun on the terrace (in may)!!
7.0 Good
Pros: Overall the apartment was clean and comfortable and had all the things required in the kitchen including the orange squeezer which was great. The location was good with a nearby bakery and a couple of beaches in walking distance.
Cons: The internet connection is inconsistent and requires you to log in every 10-15 mins when in use. There was a couple of days in the week we stayed where we couldn't find connection for much of the day. The other concern I have for parents out there like us is with a toddler on board is the balcony which have fences which require your full attention. There is always the option for you to request a ground floor apartment if you wish.
Kallisté Hôtel & Résidence - Porticcio - Building

Located in Albitreccia, Kallisté Hôtel & Résidence is a 2-minute drive from Agosta Beach and 7 minutes from Ruppione Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very stylish and spotless. One of the cleanest Hotels we have ever been to. Beautiful swimming pool, beautiful sunset. We absolutely loved everything there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: room modern and clean, comfortable bed, nice and quiet pool with big umbrellas that provide enough shade
Cons: ocean view from 1st floor of side building is bad, ask for 2nd or 3rd floor; no elevator; no room service/cleaning/exchange of towels in 1 week; laundry €5
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the very tranquil pool area which was virtually empty every day and had the most beautiful views over the bay. The rooms were finished to a high standard and were immaculately clean. The outside space was great too. Would recommend booking sea view room as the views were spectacular. If we revisited we would also book an apartment as the hotel is unmanned after 8pm so the additional facilities would definitely be useful.
Cons: Property was a little further from amenities than we had envisaged - a car is definitely needed. Air conditioning could also have been cooler.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, excellent location, nice breakfast, lovely pool area, what more could you want.
Cons: Bit of noise in reception area and could hear television in next room at times dispite notice on door asking guests to be quiet and considerate, this is not the hotels fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well appointed 2-bedroom appartment. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, but unintrusive.. The air-con was great, given the summer heat, and wasn't noisy at night. The location is good - lovely sea view from our appartment and pool - but far enough from the beach and main road to be really quiet
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was beautiful, extremely quiet and relaxing! You will certainly need a car to be able to get around town. The breakfast was wonderful and the patio has a gorgeous view. The staff were helpful and pleasant upon every meeting. I would love to stay here again. The ceasar salad is a must try too :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional place to stay. Very calm, beautiful pool, nice apartment, fantastic view, delicious breakfast and very nice staff! We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to the next one in this residence!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, nice room with terrace, good breakfast
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean quiet resort with excellent views and lovely pool. Accommodating courteous staff and beautiful well equipped apartment.
Cons: Definitely recommend to have a car as although the property is reasonably close to the beach the return journey is up a steep hill. Also the nearest shop/eateries are atleast half hour away on foot. Terrible wifi if thats important.
7.3 Good
Pros: New hotel not far from the sea coast. Very nice and cosy rooms, very clean. Rooms are with the see view, but the ones with garden view are also nice, quite with see, fresh air. Perfect french breakfast with the terrace.
6.7 Good
Pros: The 2-bedroom apartment was a good size for two adults and a small child. It was well appointed and had all the facilities we required. The sea views across to Ajaccio were fabulous and was in good proximity to good beaches.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience was delightful. The elevated location is superb, with huge views of the whole Gulf of Ajaccio, and just a 10 mins walk from the beach but yet set back from the main road so there is no traffic noise. The exterior is modern and tasteful, the interior spacious. My room was quite simply furnished but both modern and large, with very good bathroom. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a large choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is large and clean. There is free parking on site. No lunch or dinner served, but there is a first class and inexpensive restaurant named Chez Alain just 2 kms away on the main road in the direction of Porticcio and Ajaccio. There are many fine beaches nearby also.
Cons: No.
5.6 Okay
Pros: the vieuw over the seaside
Cons: paying for breakfast
4.8 Okay
Pros: wonderful position, great pool and balcony rooms. Nicely old fashioned feel - good free internet and superb views.
Cons: The non balcony room was small and faced the road, not the garden as advertised. It was noisy at times and very hot (no air conditioning). The staff seemed to be a gang of young people who took little interest in our welfare. I also did not like them using the pool with their friends which they did very noisily and with little or no regard to paying guests. The staff were not interested in our complaints about the noisy hot room: they said 'no one else has ever complained'.
7.6 Good
Pros: A beautiful hotel with wonderful views of the bay. The swimming pool was especially nice and the quality of the materials used was exceptional.
Cons: not really.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: nice view. very kind staff.
Cons:
4.4 Okay
Pros: Location, room.
Cons: A little bit noisy because of parking area under the window. The pool was repairing which is again noisy and generally strainge within the high season.
6.4 Good
Pros: 1. The location of the Hotel Kalliste Molini is indeed wunderfull. Further we stay in room number 4 and really appreciate the view of the sea from bed :-) 2. It seems to be that the Hotel was quite recently fully renovated and therefore the furnishing is new and high-quality. 3. The hotel staff member are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately, it has to be mentioned that in front of the Hotel a new swinning pool (looks like a pool) is in construction. Hence, in the morning during the week its getting a little bit noisy. According to my oppinion it was not that problem but at least a note in the hotel description in order to inform the guests in advance is necesarry and desirable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful personnel, especially the owner's help was greatly appreciated when he showed me the directions to get to the Porticcio harbor
Cons:

Overview Reviews
When you stay at FIORE DI MACHJA in Coti-Chiavari, you'll be by the sea and 13 minutes by foot from Plage de Cala d'Orzo. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.8 Good
Pros: The view was really nice and the breakfast with the other clients on the common terrasse
Cons: In our room we could hear the voices of the room directly attached, same situation with the living room which was right next to it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant familiar atmosphere. Nice place to stay with swimming pool, garden, shared balcony with superb view over Cala d´Orzo and other facilities.
Cons: Some walk towards the beach. Maintenance of building during our stay was sometimes slightly disturbing.
Chambres d'Hôtes le Vieux Chêne - Bastelicaccia - Bedroom
9
9.1 Excellent (217 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Chambres d'hôtes le Vieux Chêne in Bastelicaccia, you'll be by the ocean, within a 15-minute drive of Musee Fesch and Ajaccio Cathedral. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Though we didn't have common language with the owner (Lydia) and had to rely on either google tranlate or other guests for translation, we really enjoyed her company, helpfullness and dedication to making our vacation great. She is a person radiating positive energy, making your stay just a bit more better.
Cons: Only thing preventing me from giving perfect 10 score on all accounts is the absense of A/C. I was aware of the missing A/C when making the booking, so it's not that big a deal since there was a ceiling fan above the bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Madam is very helpful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: a very good breakfast, a very nice view from appartment, a symphatetic landlady
Cons: the landlady does not speak english, but it was quite OK
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great host !! Lovely view and terrace! Great value for money
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The property is a nice villa in a countryside location and it is tastely decorated.
Cons: The room was dusty, mouldy and damp. Our bed was wet at night and the stink of mould was keeping me awake. There was no air conditioning in the room and I had to keep the only window open at all times in order to maintain the room as dry as possible and to minimise the stink of mould. However, the window was at the same high of the grass of the garden of the property, and insects had free access to the room and my stuff. Furthermore, I paid for a continental breakfast, however the host only served dry biscuits and croissants and I was informed that I had to pay an extra fee for a savoury option. Finally, there were no room cleaning services which came as a further unpleasant surprise. The room was well paid. Nearly 100 euros per night. I wasn’t expecting such a horrible experience for that price.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lydie was lovely and very helpful. Insisted we had breakfast at 7am before we left to catch plane. Enormous bathroom with great shower. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Location is a bit far out. Need car to get anywhere. Though the views over the bay are wonderful

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was such a friendly atmosphere, with lovely facilities and beautiful surroundings. We also had stunning dinner in the sunset. 5 out of 5!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely place up in the hills above Ajaccio, with individual buildings for rooms dotted around the main building. The pool and restaurant looked lovely and our little chalet was beutifully restored and finished to the highest of standards, lovely big comfortable bed, good air-conditioning and a superb separate shower/bathroom with walk in shower.
Cons: Because of the booking information we were unsure of whether we needed to book a meal in advance so ate in the city earlier but when we arrived were offered dinner which looked very nice. The grounds are very rustic and overgrown in parts and could do with a good strimming!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location Calm Restaurant onsite Swimming pool
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, new, well managed property. Nice hosts. Not very far from Ajaccio if you travel by car.
Cons: Finding the entrance with google maps or similar is a bit tricky, few more signs would spare time and effort for everyone
7.0 Good
Pros: Wonderful property, very nice, spacious and modernly furnished rooms.
Cons: At the time of our stay, the restaurant was unfortunately closed (probably because of the holiday). Staff seems friendly, but nobody speaks English, although this would be expected at such a destination. Since we don't speak French, communication has been very difficult, which has also reflected in the service.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good and cool room
Cons: WiFi code was given to us at check out, so not very usefull.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff very helpful.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good location, not far from the centre of Ajaccio. Very quiet, pleasant spot. Very spacious bedroom
Cons: Not very good value for money. Expensive for a 3* hotel
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for two separate nights when we arrived & departed from Corsica. The location was great for us - close drive to the airport but outside of the city (no traffic/noise). The property area is very nice and peaceful, with a pool, garden, and great dining area. Our room was clean & generally comfortable. Dinner & breakfast were both homemade and delicious.
Cons: The room was just a little small (no place to keep two luggage bags open comfortably). Otherwise it was great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice location outside of the town conveniently located for the ferry. Spacious comfortable clean room. Good swimming pool.
Cons: Everything is about 25% over priced resulting in poor value for money. Breakfast is 40% over priced. No views from the rooms due to 2 metre high bushes.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice and smiling staff, welcome drink, perfect introduction and a lot of tips for the area, positive vibes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location opposite the beach, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were genuinely friendly advising on lots of local things. Nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel very welcome there. The resort is very laid back too.
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sincerely friendly hosts giving the place a good vibe. Clever comfortable room and facilities (ours was freshly renovated). Location calm, but close to everything you need on vacation (beaches, food, supermarket).
Cons: Didn’t find anything not to like in those two nights.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the setting in Greenery after staying in concrete hotels over the island. Reminded me and my Wife of similar places in Ko Samui in Thailand. We will definitely return. Staff made us really welcome.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent, staff were extremely helpful at all times
7.5 Good
Pros: The beach, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The beach is the best ever. Good to have an air conditioner in the room.
Cons: The wifi is only for one device per apartment. When we left the staff asked us to fill in a rating. When they saw that our rating was under par, they asked us not to fill in the booking evaluation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The check-in process was very nice - I really liked the welcome drink at the reception (such a relief in the hot weather) and a comprehensive set of information on what to do, what to see, where to eat, all the local hints. I was positively surprised by how well the staff is informed and prepared. Room I got offered a scenic view at the sea, hotel is 3 minutes away from the beach and located in serene surroundings - I could really calm down and relax, breathe away from the noise of the city. Nice continental breakfast with fresh croissants.
Cons: I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Pros: Lovely staff. Welcome drink (a beer) and a goodbye drink (coffee) helped to mitigate the price a little!
Cons: Slightly pricey for a cabin, but it did have aircon and fly nets at the windows.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very pleasant stay, nice location, clean rooms, close to the beach.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: A romantic small hotel in a quiet area near the center and the beach, a stylish room with a modern bathroom, a very nice and helpful lady owner who can speak English!
Cons: My iPhone charger fell behind the bedside table and I realized that after we´d checked out. We came back to the hotel after a few hours to pick it up but it wasn´t there! The 2 chambermaids who were waiting for us to leave the room in the morning obviously kept it! That´s called a theft!!! So disappointing...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and comfortable, short walk to town
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: location, and design
Cons: Too complicated check in
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, just 150 metres from the beach and in a very quiet street. The staff is very friendly. The room was a bit small but cosy. The breakfast was delicious and good value for money at €11.
Cons: The matress was not very comfortable. It was too soft and felt like a hammock. The toilet in the hall was ok but I was surprised when I realized this was the deal. In the info from the hotel it said room with bath and I assumed it included a toilet. My mistake.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The place was quiet and clean.
Cons: Location. Long way from railway station. Quite a way to shops etc. The property is described as beachfront but the beach cannot be seen from the property.

7.0 Good
Pros: Nice size apartment with a great balcony and Ocean views.
Cons: nothing special, maybe the fact that they don't clean the rooms or change towels during the stay.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean
Cons: Very bad location
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was very clean and we enjoyed the balcony with the view of the sea. The pool and free parking were also nice to have. The staffs and cleaners were always smiling and ready to help or provide guidance.
Cons: We had hard time to find the hotel as we were looking for Residence Amirauté but it was managed by the Best Western ride beside of it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really great place. Apartment was super. Staff helpful and very friendly. Very clean. Quality furnishings. Excellent beds, good linens and thick towels. Kitchen was very well equipped.
Cons: Nothing really
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean apartment Friendly staff Well equipped Possibility to make use of the facilities of the hotel Free parking spaces
Cons: Location
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean an delisciouse
6.3 Good
Pros: The apartment was spacious and clean. Relatively quiet considering the fact the hotel is close to the main street. The kitchen is properly equipped for those travelling with kids or cooking on your own.
Cons: I have mixed feelings really. The hotel isn't bad, but we did not have the view presented on the site. Majority of them must have been taken from Best Western Hotel not Residence Amiraute. The view varies so please take that into the account when booking. Also the hotel has a very strict booking policy. I had to change my dates due to work and was trying to shorten the stay for two days of which I have informed the hotel a month before I was supposed to stay there, asking if I could pay less for those days and my plea was rejected so I was somewhat disappointed and to be honest surprised as it had never happened before and I do travel quite often. I do not think the hotel is a good value for money too am afraid. As for the beach you have to travel by car (aprox 30 min in traffic, which is a daily occurrence in the city which is understandable but still not something you enjoy doing on vacation).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had an apartment for 4 people and thought it was very good - modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. We were on an upper floor and enjoyed great views across the bay from the large balcony. There is a reasonable restaurant on site, but we ate in our apartment most of the time to save money (there's a good supermarket a few minutes walk away). The heated swimming pool was an enjoyable place to relax after sightseeing. You can catch a bus into town from outside the hotel - line 1 runs every 40 mins until about 1930. Surprisingly there is also a little railway station a few minutes walk from the hotel on the promenade at Salines - we caught a train there to Corte, fantastic scenery, fare was about 22 euros return (pay the conductor as no ticket office).
Cons: As the hotel is on the edge of town there's not much to do in the immediate area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, short drive from the airport. Located on the edge of Ajaccio 10 mins drive to the town or a 30min walk. Quiet apartment / hotel with good facility’s
Cons: Spacious and quiet, with a great view across the marina to Ajaccio.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean, quiet, comfortable with good facilities and very pleasant staff. Walking along the harbour into town was a very pleasant way to see the old town. Good secure parking and easy to find. The onsite restaurant was good for dinner .. handy and tasty.
Cons: It's not really an apartment .. more à suite. There's à fridge but nothing to eat on .. no plates, cutlery, sink or even a wine glass. Our tiny dog stayed with us and was charged 15€ per day .. I don't understand why the daily rate .. the room wasn't cleaned during our stay so why a daily rate. Everywhere else in the past 6 weeks have charged a maximum of 5€ per stay .. in most cases free. The dog cost was not disclosed until after the "non refundable" booking was made .. it should be declared in the fine print.

Pros: Beautiful hotel - absolute joy - Glenn and Debbie from UK - we want to live here permanently in the hotel !
Cons: Everything
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good sized room. Lovely bathroom. Staff were friendly & helpful. Good sized swimming pool. If you didn't want the 15 minute walk into town, there was a nearby bus stop & frequent buses.
Cons: Nothing. The beach was rocky but water shoes were available if you wished to go into the sea.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location is fantastic... and thats about it. Way more expensive than the experience it offers warrants.
Cons: 1. The hotel purports to offer a fine dining experience. It is not. 2. Allowing smoking on the dining terrace. And cigars too. This is 2019 not 1919. If you want to smoke... fine... but, for pity's sake show a little more respect for diners who don't. Outdoors and a slight breeze in the wrong direction can ruin an evening. A hotel of the calibre it *pretends* to be, should understand this. 3. We had to ask to move our original table allocation due to a large party (non hotel residents) being seated across from us. The children kept distracted by tablets and 'phones with the volume turned to high on all their devices. Impossible to enjoy an evening with that level of background noise. 4. The menus are hideously over-priced, the waiting staff (for the price one is expected to pay) were slack in the extreme. 5. On our evening there, the wine waiter was so inattentive that we'd more or less finished a course before the wine (meant to be pared to the dish) arrived. 6. We're lucky enough to live in a part of (mainland) France where we are close to a number of either Michelin starred restaurants or others of a similar standard. Therefore, we do understand what fine dining is all about. Plus, its a special treat. However, no matter how they dress it up, this hotel does not offer anything near a fine dining experience. Food was fair to average, an after dinner Brandy not served in a Brandy glass? How sloppy is that. 6. Cracked tiles in the bathroom – at the prices charged, this should never be the case.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities and staff and in a great location!!!
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The private beach was perfect, the paddle boarding was amazing, other activities like snorkeling and yoga were pretty fun too.
Cons: More choice on food, more non-fish based options
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved EVERYTHING about this hotel
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything was fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The overall qualities of this hotel are excellent especially the balcony room we had selected. The fine dining restaurant is excellent. Every member of the staff team were a delight and gave great service.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, excellent location, staff, room on the 1st floor with a view very comfortable and cute! Definitely recommend!!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is beautifully decorated with well chosen paintings and furniture, making the ambiance quite cozy and attractive. We arrived early morning but were well received by the staff. The late check-in hour (around 15:00) came like a little lovely surprise as we were given a chamber with a sea view with the price for the one facing the mountains :-) Happy for the surprise and then came the dinner surprise: Food and service were excellent. The waitress was charming and patient, who helped us with lots of ideas with the trip the next morning....
Cons: ....Would be much more heartwarming if there was a kettle for hot water or tea, especially when everything was close during the extremely bad weather like last Monday evening with a huge thunderstorm...

Pros: Jean Pierre and his wife was very welcoming. It is in quiet location with great view and I loved the night sky as you can see plenty of stars and milky way. Jean Pierre gave us ideas for what to do and see in the area and his recommendation has been great. Thank you
6.3 Good
Pros: View was beautiful. The owner was polite and quick to respond to questions. The room was clean.
Cons: I was confused about the shared shower. I had expected a private bathroom, as the other room had specifically said shared bathroom and the room I rented said nothing. I probably wouldn't have rented a place without a private bathroom. I see that has been addressed and is now very clear. It was also noted that we would recieve a would recieve a welcome drink, which didn't happen, but not a big deal.

Pros: The central location. The range of equipment supplied.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host is super welcoming, and ready to make us feel at home, and comfortable. The studio is in a very cute street near the sea, near the shops and restaurants, couldn't be better located! We loved it and we will definitely come back!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was well located, very comfortable and clean with everything we needed.
Cons: Paid parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a splendid and cosy spot to rest my weary bones... I loved the location... it was right on the edge of the hustle-bustle but nestled away enough to feel relaxed. It was nice and quiet, the bed was fantastic and I enjoyed every thing about my visit.
Cons: I don't like this question... everything was ideal.
6.8 Good
Pros: comfy, very clean and an amazing example how to furnish a very small place to get the most out of it.
Cons: - the whole communication with the host - misleading information (hotel policy) on booking.com (despite stated otherwise: prepayment is required, no children allowed below 3y) - very loud noise from the street (restaurant talking, bar music, glas shattering) - payment in bar only (leave it on the floor desk and text a photo of it to the host)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Myriam was an incredible helpful host allowing us to drop off bags before check in and booking us an early morning taxi to the airport. The apartment was beautifully set up with a very comfy bed in a great location!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was cosy and had everything we needed. The design is marvellous and the check in went smoothly. There are some car parks nearby (300 metres on foot) where you can leave the car (we paid 2-4 € per night).
Cons: The only disadvantage is that it can get noisy in the evenings, as the room is directly above some cafes and restaurants, so if you like to sleep in the complete silence, pack a pair of earplugs. Other than that the place is perfect:)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent. Close to everything and on a street that truly comes to life at night so you just step out of your front door into an amazing atmosphere and music drifts in through your window each evening. Everything we needed was provided at the property including very effective air conditioning. The people who came each day to change the towels and empty the bins were very friendly and nice to deal with. They would always ask if we needed anything else and although we didn’t ask for anything we felt that had we done do they would have tried hard to help.
Cons: The bathroom is very small to the point that there is no room for a hand basin so you have to wash your hands, brush you teeth etc in the sleeping/ living area. There is only one wide opening window and because of the size of the studio it opens in front of the cooker so has to be closed if the hob is in use. Although neither of these things bothered us particularly there is another apartment upstairs and you can hear people walking up and down the stairs and across the floor and the noise from the street outside is quite loud.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was small but had everything you need. Lovely staff.
Cons: Some people arguing outside on the street.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Upgrade to a big, new suite, balcony, spacious, clean, perfect bed and air-conditioning, breakfast nice, few meters footwalk to a small, nearly empty beach, free garage in the building
Cons: Everything top
7.0 Good
Pros: helpful staff and spacious bathroom
Cons: Location. Next to a very busy road in an ugly area. . The booking.com website gives the impression that the hotel is on a beach. It most certainly is not ! To get to a small beach with no shade, beds or cafes you need to cross over the dual carriageway, whereas Rincanto is a hot 20 minutes walk away. If, like me, you are on holiday without a car, this is not an ideal place for you; better to go to a hotel on the pretty coast west of Ajaccio.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This family friendly place is a must if you need a swimmingpool in Ajaccio. Great service and the staff is always ready for help.
Cons: A bit far from city - but from the bus station close by its only 10 min....
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and helpful staff. Clean modern spaces. Nice breakfast. Relatively close to the airport (taxis charged us both times a 'fixed fee' of 20 EUR). We could stay at the pool after checking out. Overall, it's a great place to stay for a night if you have a late arriving flight and/or late departure.
Cons: Rooms have no balcony
5.8 Okay
Pros: Excellent service and very helpful staff. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: Bit of a walk from the city centre. The rooms weren’t exceptionally clean - bugs in room from balcony doors being left open etc.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed, clean room and modern bathroom. Lovely pool, good breakfast choice and helpful staff.
Cons: The location is a bit strange as it’s a long walk from Ajaccio centre and there is nothing in the immediate vicinity apart from another hotel next door and a restaurant where Best Western Plus guests can have lunch or dinner. The food at this restaurant was average and overpriced for what we had (steak and chips). Get a taxi to the Old Town instead - much better restaurants there!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean
7.0 Good
Pros: The swimming pool and spa areas were very good. Car parking was available. Reception staff were friendly.
Cons: We were disappointed with the location. The beach nearby wasn’t very nice and there were no restaurants within walking distance, except for the one at the apartments adjacent. A car is definitely needed here. The wifi wasn’t very good and one had to login every time to connect.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean international standards
Cons: Just outside city center
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great family room with two actual rooms, a real bedroom with a big bed for the parents and two twin size beds (a couch that turns into two real beds) in the living room. Nice to have a little bit of separation between the two. looks newly renovated.
Cons: the pool was a little small for the number of people at the hotel.

Cons: No kettle or fridge in the room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great Place, location and service. The views are amazing
Cons: The beds were a little hard, and the pillows pretty thins. Otherwise, all was great
5.8 Okay
Pros: + room was very big + pool was very nice + helpful and friendly staff + good AC
Cons: - restaurant was only at the beach, and bad times. But food was over expectations when recived. - breakfast buffé was good, but OVER PRICED - breakfast extrema was a fiasco (we ordred breda, yoghurt, fruit, bread baguette for eating early the next day. But onöy recived three slices of bread - very small, juice and three croissants. Then we revived the information that the breakfast express only included three slices of bread or three croissants/person. And we where jumping on a bus for four hours with only this in our bellies. HORRIBLE! -Beautiful beach- unfortunately we could never swim in the iceman because of the jellyfish (a lot of them). -gym wasn’t worthy to be called a gym. The electricity was unplugged on all of the machines. Very old gear. - the rooms and the doors could use some renovation. It was very worn out. -loud from the corridors -hard beds - no mini fridge in the room - the hotel is not in ajaccio but in a area called Scudo. (Good accommodation with bus from the hotel to Ajaccio center. - insanely small toilet!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great with access to big pool, beach and parking. The rooms were outstanding with big bathrooms, comfortable bed and I particularly enjoyed having a room with sea view. If into jogging there is a good route just from outside. Breakfast was exceeding my expectations with everything you would want available including newly baked cakes everyday. I travelled off season so the beach restaurant was closed but the hotel bar still offered a great selection of dishes if not wanting to leave the premises. I was very well looked after.
Cons: The gym could need a little refresher but not a big deal
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location with view to ile Sanguinaires
Cons: Swimming pool was covered
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location 25 minutes by car from the airport; has a cosy private beach and a large, clean swimming pool. Very friendly barman, cleaning staff and breakfast room staff. The beach restaurant was closed in this season but the barman made up with lovely salads and snacks. Large comfortable room with all the necessities you would need. Great breakfast (lots of choice and fresh pressed orange juice) in a large, airy room overlooking the sea. A generally quiet and laid-back ambience reigned in the hotel; you can walk around in your swimsuit if you want. The building itself is a successful example of 60s modernist architecture: lots of space, air and light with clean lines. We had a lovely holiday and would like to thank the Cala di Sole staff for making it so.
Cons: One of the receptionists (the blond one) is to be avoided at all costs: not only inefficient but also rude. The two young receptionists were great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly staff. Superb Location. Clean and modern rooms. Pool spectactular. Had a lovely meal at their beach restaurant, again staff couldn’t have been more helpful and food delicious
Cons: Charge for pool/beach towel
5.5 Okay
Pros: Comfortable stay for one night. very clean. Able to stay all day on date of departure and good shower facilities offered
Cons: I find it extraordinary that a hotel that charges 200 per night expect you to pay 5E a day for a beach towel! we arrived at 4pm and I thought the receptionist had said free for that day but on reflection she meant not to pay until we leave!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very helpfuly staff on the receiption. Directly way from hotel to the beach.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views from balcony and great location - yards to the great beach and restaurants.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Large twin rooms, balcony with a view to the sea, and a terrace for drinks and excellent buffet breakfast.
Cons: One staff member was particularly grumpy and sour at breakfast, otherwise friendly and welcoming.
7.5 Good
Pros: The bedroom was basic but comfortable with a nice view from the balcony. There was a large terrace outside the hotel’s front door and plenty of parking. There are several restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance, and the beach is nearby. The village has changed little since we were here 10 years ago. It is a short drive to Plage de Cupabia which has a lovely beach, plenty of parking and a cafe.
Cons: The bathroom was in need of an upgrade and there was no fridge for bottled water. The breakfast was poor quality for the price, so we had fresh croissants and coffee at the local patisserie for half the price. A pity, as the terrace would have made a lovely breakfast venue.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice. Good breakfast, although the fruits were not fresh
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. Great location . Lovely clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast.
Cons: No fridge in the room. Bar open at odd hours. Too late for an early drink, closed too early for a late drink.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location,nice room
Cons: Nothing enjoyable
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms with nice view over the sea available
Cons: Be aware of some noise from the village in case there are parties going on till early morning... We didn't take breakfast for 12,-- p.p.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room`s balcony and the garden and breakfast environment. Room very comfortable, although would have liked a bit more space. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the manager was an interesting person who we spoke to on several occasions and helped around breakfast area. Car parking was plentiful and on two levels,so there was a choice mostly. Hotel situated in an excellent spot for touring the island and some of the restaurants, although we counted 7 restaurants within easy reach.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel ise close to the beach and the supermarket, there is a balcony with sea view.
Cons: Overpriced! It is a nice 3-star 08/15 hotel, but you pay much more than that.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: A perfect location for chilling out, our room over looked the small port / marina area which was busy yet quiet during the day and entertaining viewing. The staff were all courteous and very professional, the reception boasting two of the most attractive receptionists I have met! We had room 19 which was a modern unit with all you could wish for plus a decent sized balcony furnished with "Fatboy" bean bags along with table and chairs. We ate at the hotel restaurant several times and the food was to a good standard and could be taken at the quayside or in front of the hotel. The pool area was peaceful and well protected from the sea breeze.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and spotlessly clean room with gorgeous balcony overlooking the boats and the bay.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is nice: room, bed, towels, little balcony, view, staff. Super cute spot.
Cons: The problem is outside of the hotel.I guess bikers like this spot. Therefore, there are plenty and, surely, they make much noise. Luckily, late at night it gets quite (at least in May). Also, the resto seems cute, but my pizza was having waaay too much salt.
7.5 Good
Pros: Modern hotel, friendly staff and great views.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was simply outstanding! Location, rooms, swimming pool, food,... all was perfect. From the moment you arrive, you feel that you are welcome... we stayed for 7 days and wish we could stay even longer... the owner is ensuring that you have a great time... all members of his Team are very friendly, helpful and want to ensure you have everything you need...
Cons: nothing. all we needed we got... we wish we could have stayed longer
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very pleased to be able to stay. The staff were incredible.
Cons: nothing
