It is a very beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The bar staff is not friendly and was rather poor service, but the girl at the pool (Melida) was very attentive. We requested a certain type of room and they didn't have it, didn't tell us it was not available, and charged us for the other rate.
The location was delightful The staff and the taste of the breakfast items could be greatly improved
Very nice place, closed to the beach. Room with veranda and sea view, clean and comfortable. Quietly and ideal place for relax. I had unforgettable weekend.
Comfortable rooms with lovel balcony and sea views. Excellent buffet breakfast. Quiet location with easy access to town
I liked that it was near the center (10 minutes) The noise -during all day and sometimes until late at night- from close to the area hotel.
The hotel is new. Therefore the guest encounters a clean and overall well-kept environment. The pool area is quite pretty, and there is plenty of parking space around the building. The hotel is a very short walk away from a fine sand beach with its own chairs and beach umbrellas. The hotel is located between two beach developments and - except for the walk to the beach - nothing can be done without car. During our visit, various advertised features (fitness center, sauna, massage, jacuzzi, hammam, shops) were not ready yet.
Value for money. Beautiful room. Frendly personell. Breakfast time, only until 9.30 it was too early for us. The noise from the beside club-bouzoukia.
Nothing. We only stayed for one night. No.
The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. I don't think I can say anything else good about the hotel. It's a fair intermediate stop on your route. The breakfast was really poor and the coffee awful. And there was no bottle of wine waiting for us in the room as the hotel add said.
I liked everything: very nice and serviceable staff, good and clean rooms. Breckfast was ok.
The room was spacious so it it a plesure to rest there. The breakfast was not rich.
Location, Spacious rooms Poor breakfast
Excellent location, close to the sea and nearby souvenir shops. Clean rooms with air conditioning included in the price. Hotel staff very friendly.
Very kind and supportive staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Close to the beach and on the main street at the same time. It was pleasure to stay at this hotel. No.
very nice and big rooms, breakfast ok.
Excellent staff, nice hotel, good realation price/comfort
I liked the hotel staff, cleaning was done daily and they were helpfull and always ready to answer any questions. The location was good too, only 2 minutes far from the beach even though not on the beach with all the noise, it was quiet and nice. Though breakfast didnt give mutch to choose from, if you dont eat pork.
Excellent Hotel,Nice Staff,Good Food.
The entire hotel was beautiful! The rooms were clean and modern! The location. The village is not very beautiful.
My stay at Danai was excellent. A real good surprise, as it's a different world, compared to the rest of the hotels in Olympic Beach. The rooms are big, with huge balcony and the staff is really nice. Nothing to complain.
polite staff, new clean hotel, very spacious room, nice pool bar they should not charge for using jacuzzi 15 euro per person-its too much! the evening buffet, even at a very good price, not suitable for a 4-star hotel
Wonderful intimate, cozy hotel, quiet location for relaxation. The food was good, overall - this hotel is an oasis in its location. I loved it! The beach is 500 meters walking distance, very crowded and noisy, so we had to go to other beaches where we could relax and enjoy the sea ...
The staff were very helpful, and had could speak good English. The hotel also offers free internet, which we found very useful. The room had a balcony and was very pleasant. I would classify the hotel as a 3*, not a 4*, as although our stay was pleasant, it was quite basic. The indoor pool was very shallow and cold, so I could not use it, and the outdoor pool is situated at the front of the hotel, so there is little privacy !! The only other thing that we did not like was that there was a shower (no bath), and the shower was tiny. There was literally no room to move.
I expected a little bit more from this hotel from its description. I would say it is overpriced for this period of the year (April) having into consideration its location, shape and offer. It is an average building in the third street counted from the beach, nothing special. The room is average, breakfast was quite OK, although the coffee was terrible and the milk was actually more wather than milk (I hate this kind of tricks for cost saving). In my view this is not a 4 star hotel. There is not really an indoor swimming pool. It is a little big bigger bath in the same room with the gym. It was not working at all, everighing was dirty and cold. Same is valid for the room with "billiard" - it was completely abandoned. The toilets in the rooms really need a reconstruction, everithing was cheap, plastic, small and old, quite damaged.
bathroom needs renovation
Prime location, very nice view on both sides, clean, very good value for money... Room little small but still functional and comfortable.
Very clean, great view, friendly staff, as described. Ciao Dragan No internet in the rooms, but you can use free wireless in common areas
The hotel is located by the sea. The staff is friendly and helpful. Amenities are good value for money.
The location is great, in the center of Paralia and practically on the beach.Great view.I saw 3 rooms, very different types. One of them (1st floor) had a really small bathroom, but it was ok for a one night stay.Another room at 3'rd floor was great, big bath, nice wood decoration. Both rooms had the same price. So I recommend that you ask for a room ar 3'rd floor. Small bathroom.
Perfect location (on the seaside and in the center at the same time), friendly and helping staff, very clean and nice smelling, well equipped rooms, a beach bar. WiFi only on public places, not in the rooms nor on the beach. But I'm not sure if this is a disadvantage, when on a vacation and trying to have some rest of the everyday life :)
Staff was nice and helpful. Good location, right on the beach. Far too noisy, very difficult to sleep. Lots of commotion and noise very late at night outside the hotel, it's on a busy pedestrian street. Also, walls seemed to be paper thin, could hear everybody coming in and out. Breakfast also was not very good.
Staff was friendly and courteous, made our stay extremely enjoyable. Bed for 2 people was too small.
I like the views from the windows. The rooms of the hotel are very small, the breackfast is very poor. They sayed they have wi-fi, that wi-fi is just in the restaurnat, not into rooms. I wanted to go somewhere else, but they took my money from my credit card at rezervation and they didn't wont to give me back.
This is a very professional family run hotel. The staff were incredibly nice. They made phone calls to bus companies for us, asked sincerely if there was anything more they could do to improve our stay, and knew us by name. The buffet breakfast was the best we had during our 2-week trip through the region. I highly recommend the Kymata Hotel.
The ambience, the surroundings, the nice fireplace in the lobby, the fact that we were allowed to stay without being charged until 18:00 hours. The restaurant wasn't really open on Saturday night. We were planning to dine there. Instead, we had to go to the city of Veria for dinner. Not very far but driving over there and trying to find a decent place to dine certainly changed our relaxing attitude.
A beautiful setting with a large terrace to enjoy the view. Large bathroom. Convenient for visiting several impressive local towns and historic sites. The rooms are dark with stained beams & net curtains everywhere. It seemed like an old fashioned 1970s Swiss chalet. The managers were only seen when leaving. The bar tender had to look after all requests. A very poor dinner menu (mostly drinks & snacks).
Very pleasent place, very very kind staff, we came so late but there was any trouble regarding dinner. One small suggestion (not complain) food variety for breakfirst should be bigger
the historic luxury atmosphere, the wooden pannels, the fantastic view, the wine (Merlot) that they produce themselves. nothing
friendly staff valet parking only, the quality of the breakfast could have been better, room bit cold (heat was not on at all times)
The staff were excellent. Very friendly, welcoming and accomodating.
view ,quiet place. cleaning, hair in the breakfast.
hospitality luxury was not meeting expectations - I chose it because of his inside swimming pool after a day of cultural tripping with the children, but the water of the swimming pool was cold so impossible to swim even for children - this severley disappointed us! if you have a swimming pool available, it need to be usable at any times (and not only as a refresher in summer time)
Even we stayed out of the regular season, the hotel staff did everything to make us feel welcome and was very obliging. We had a room with breathtaking view from the Mount Olympus over the village to the Sea. The jacuzzi in the bathroom was a little bit small.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave me excellent information on what sites to see in the region, and gave me a good map of the hiking trails of Mt. Olympus. The hotel's web site gives the impression that this is a large luxury hotel with full amenities. This is not the case. I would classify this as a cozy, well-run, boutique hotel. Great location if you interested in taking in Mt. Olympus and its environs. I'm glad we selected this hotel over the other sea-side hotels it was compared to. Small tv screen. Internet is free, but you need to go the lobby to get uniterrupted access. is not always accesible from room.
nice staff, basic hotel, nice location to resturantc beds were a little stiff but understand that this seems to be the norm in all of Greece, not just this hotel.
The room was totally unique with a wood burning fireplace, balcony and canopy bed. But really it was the staff (specifically Kristina) that were so nice and accommodating for our honeymoon. We couldn't recommend this hotel more.
Our stay at the Olympia Guesthouse was wonderful. Our hosts were completely charming, welcoming and could not have offered a better service. Rooms were cool, spotlessly clean, comfortable and blissfully quiet. Breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend the guesthouse and look forward to a return visit.
Extremely helpful owners even with limited English. Amazing breakfast prepared by the owner's wife on our last morning. Spotty WiFi in our room. Only three free parking spots at the guesthouse; pay parking (1.50 Euro) across the street.
We arrived late (3:30 a.m.) at the hotel. Although it had been written on the website that checking-in was expected to be until 10:30 p.m., they were waiting for us and they were very kind. The atmosphere in the hotel is friendly and relaxing. Staff is helpful, their English is good as well.
The host was very nice .good hospitality from the lady who manage the hotel. It was not possible to pay with the card and it was necessary cash payment.
Very nice guesthouse, good managed, very, very clean. Staff friendly, always with a smile - thank you far your hospitality :-) Very good position for visiting museum in Vergina if you are on a Greek tour.
Very hospitable hosts. Nice room and comunal lounge area. Pleasant experience and close to museum site.
We liked everything
Wow - fantastic guest house, clean and tidy, really close to Vergina Muesem. Some places have tidy rooms but these were spacious and comfortable Breakfast not included in price, and I decided to pay 7 Euro's for it. When at first trying communicating with kitchen / serving staff I thought oh no its not going to be good, but it ended with fantastic breakfast.
Everything was excellent for a guest house, the aircon worked really well! Location was perfect, just a short walk down to the tombs.
The hotel is only a couple years old, run by a lovely family. The hotel is very clean, simple and great for a night in Vergina to see the Royal Tombs of Greece. The location was perfect, just up the street from the museum. Vergina is a quiet town when the tour buses aren't there and the locals are very nice. The staff at Olympia Guesthouse go out of there way to make you feel comfortable. A large flatscreen TV in the lobby and cozy couches make it a great place to relax with a drink from the cafe/bar inside. The room also had air conditioning, which is necessary in the summer. Overall it was a very pleasant stay for us.
Good location on the beach, large balcony overlooking the water, comfortable beds and clean room. Restaurant working with the hotel was good and provided good beach service.
We have spent an extraordinary holiday in Paralia, the hotel was clean, very decent people were staying there, the rooms were impecable and very beautifully decorated, the staff was helpful, very welcoming and always smiling, the familly running the business exceptional and very, very, very friendly.Thank you so much for making my holiday one of the best in my life, and for sure we will always come back to Aktaion.
Good services, kindness of the personnel and an excellent placement on the beach.
Clean and comfortable rooms, magnificent location. Very noisy Saturday night (and probably every night in the active season), no parking place.
swimming, running along the sea coast, just lieing on the chaise-longues a little bit noisy at evenings
Ambience, seaside hotel, ideal for family holidays. Internet does not working, no private parking
Very good location in the centre of the village. There is a free public parking with lots of parking spaces in a location nearbay (200m). The hotel facilites are corresponding perfectly with the information, written in booking.com. The breakfast was good as well.
