Abbeyglen Cottage - Swords

9.8 Excellent (228 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts provide such amazing personal attention from check-in to a customized breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes from the airport and close to a great pub and shopping center. Will stay here anytime we're in Dublin!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is very convenient for the Dublin airport and easily walkable to village of Swords. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area and suggestions for restaurants and pubs. Accomodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave prior to the usual breakfast time and the hosts agreed to serve us early. Highly recommend!!

7.5 Good
Pros: Loved everything and had my own wee room with breakfast waiting which was ideal as needed to leave at 6:45am. Beautiful room and with a visit from the black lab which I'm always happy to see dogs. What a beautiful cottage. They are very considerate by asking all residents to be quiet for each other and this is stated everywhere.
Cons: Unfortunately, the person staying above me wasn't as considerate and quashed my pleasant stay with the amount of noise that they made, it was constant, I only wish I had remembered to bring my noise cancelling headphones to dull out their noise. This is not any fault of the cottage just individuals who don't understand courtesy that when you are above a room to be considerate, it's not hard, but sadly selfish, thoughtless people exist and this isn't ideal when I'm not sleeping particularly well due to being pregnant and trying not to be hormonal and money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little place, tucked away down a little lane. Perfect for a short trip to Dublin. Tastefully decorated. Lovely rooms and a warm welcome. We only stayed for the first night of our tour of Ireland, but what a lovely place to start it!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay, great facilities and lovely little extras with the snacks on arrival. Breakfast was cool in the walk in cupboard and we were lucky enough the weather was nice and we could sit outside. Was our second time we stayed, first time it was for my dad’s birthday and they went over and above to have lovely decorations in the room on arrival and a box of chocolates. Would definitely stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location for me was great - 10 min drive away from where I was working and 5 mins away from a shopping centre which has places to eat. Continental Breakfast was all ready in my room on arrival - such a great idea doing it that way! and plenty of options as well.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We LOVED the facilities. The owners took care to think of everything we could have needed. The continental breakfast included was amazing! The bed was comfortable. Quiet and cozy. Close to the airport too. The owners were easy to work with and very responsive. We were thrilled with our experience and would highly recommend them.
Cons: The only thing we weren't thrilled about was the hour bus ride to city centre or €32 taxi ride (25 minutes).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked this stay as a need to stay somewhere last year (In 2017) but quickly changed my view when I saw how amazing this cottage is! My friend and I were greeted immediately and before talking Business was offered tea, coffee, or champagne. After receiving the tea, he sat down with us and outlined all the restaurants and bars in the area to try and ones to stay away from since it was a holiday. On top of the holiday there was a rugby match going on so it would have been hard to find a place to sit down and eat or have a beer. I was very satisfied with my service and given the opportunity to stay in Dublin again I would choose this in a heartbeat. Thank you rose cottage!!!
Cons: There was nothing in control of the cottage that was in satisfied with the weather is another comment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was adorable and spotless They had fresh danishes yogurt oatmeal and bread with Nutella as well as fresh fruit in our room for breakfast the next morning I definitely recommend this rental Awesome
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Our host, Dan, exlemplified the term. This was our first day in Ireland, and we felt utterly lost. Dan reached out to us before our plane even left home, asking when he might expect us. We had an email dialog that helped us use the public transportation system to reach the B&B. He let us drop our luggage off and explore Dublin while waiting for check-in time, then showed us the best bus routes to take. In the morning, he cooked up a great Irish breakfast for us to get our day started. About the bed, we took it for granted. It was a nice, comfortable mattress, which we wished we had for the next two weeks. It seems comfortable beds are not common in Europe and the UK, so it was a real luxury to have had our first night after a full day of travel at Rose Cottage.
Cons: It is a bit outside of Dublin center, so the bus ride takes about an hour...if there is not a hurling match happening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, convenient location. 10 minute drive to the airport. Beautiful decor! The breakfast was amazing. The owner was very kind and helpful. Very clean, comfortable bed. Cute little patio space in the back that I truly enjoyed. We really loved it here!
Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dan greeted us the first night and really set a positive vibe as he was so friendly and helpful with Pub options. Rose Cottage was first class all the way. The continental Breakfast that is left in your room each evening is an exceptional idea. Great selection of fruit, cereal and pastries. Coffee in french press was excellent.Kettle for tea was a hit with Connie. This style of breakfast was so helpful in allowing us to eat according to our schedule. Fantastic idea !! Finally, proximity and access to airport is literally a 10 min drive and is so easy to find. Superb B&B, Thanks John snd Connie Ottawa Canada
Cons: Was a little tricky to find. Possibly include in email instructions that you take a left at both round abouts at far end of the park. Other than that , exceptional !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is fantastic! Stunning interior design, great kitchenette well stocked with fresh juice, milk and fruit, and the bathrooms were immaculate and gorgeous... Best place we stayed in our 6 weeks in Ireland, hands down.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rose Cottage was perfect for our overnight stay before flying out of Dublin the next morning. The location is outstanding – 10 minutes to the Dublin Airport (which accommodates early departures)! Dominika was extremely welcoming and helpful. She had provided very detailed directions to help us find the cottage … (a blessing in itself). Rose Cottage is a hidden jewel ….quiet, convenient, and updated beautiful decor!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and host was great. We had an early flight out, so she really took care of us since we missed out on breakfast. Would have loved to have spent more time there. Our next trip to the Dublin area, we will be back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly proprietors. Excelent and plentiful breakfast.?
Cons: ?? All good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jimmy and Mary, who run Evergreen Bed & Breakfast, are extremely personable and helped us with going into Dublin to walk around, getting back to the Airport for our return flight the next day, and replacing a tire on our vehicle. This B&B is very close to the Dublin Airport. Jimmy brought us an unexpected glass of wine and a glass of Irish whiskey when we returned from an afternoon visit to Dublin while Mary tried to help me with my back problem with some lotion, a pot of coffee and a muffin when we first arrived at the B&B. The Irish breakfasts were excellent.
Cons: We could have had more playtime with Inde (Indiana) their border collie - really cool dog!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mary and Jimmy were wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were great with plenty of choice. Mary packed a breakfast for us on our last day as we were leaving early - we enjoyed this on the ferry. The room was clean and comfortable and the patio outside, in the lovely garden, was relaxing to sit in the sun. Would highly recommend this B and B.
Cons: Loved the whole stay.

Pros: The owners are very friendly and welcoming, Nice rooms, good breakfast and they provide you all the tips you need.
Cons: Nothing to mention

Pros: Olive is a wonderful hostess. We were greeted warmly on arrival & taken to our room. It was comfortable and cozy in a very quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of options. When we left for the airport we were given directions that kept us away from early morning commuter traffic & that was a welcome time saver.
Cons: No complaints but visitors should be prepared to travel to town for meals, scenery, and events. The location, however, is only a quick drive to Malahide Castle.

Pros: There was plenty to do and see on the grounds but best of all, the rooms and bathrooms were beautiful. The bed was so comfortable I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud!
Cons: nothing - awesome
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness excellent. Location excellent
Cons: Took an inordinate amount of time to check in and room not ready until almost 4pm. Breakfast poor. Service finished at 10.30.!we arrived in restaurant at 9.30. Although it was extremely busy we only had a few minutes to wait to be seated. However, all fresh fruit bowls were empty and selection of cereals reduced to bran flakes. We had almost finished breakfast before tea/toast arrived despite chasing up twice. Breakfast definitely not a 5 star experience and more like 3 star.
7.5 Good
Cons: Weren’t many staff about at reception/concierge desk. Found myself waiting at empty concierge desk several times. Couldn’t get house keeping to deliver toilet paper until 3 calls had been made.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was amazing, and relaxing.
Cons: Breakfast, waiting 20 min for a coffee and when asked for a manager, we were ignored. When the issued was brought to manager at reception it was resolved with an apology.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room facilities and location were great
Cons: The breakfast was very poor, very little on buffet and order menu not provided. Staff were not very attentive. Not what expected in 5 star hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was amazing. We spent our 25th wedding anniversary there & loved it & now back again for our 36th anniversary planning on spending our 40th there too if we can
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and hotel is very nice.
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing - have had better at other less expensive hotels. Spa is nice but can be noisy during the designated times for children.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is possibly the most beautiful I’ve ever seen
8.3 Excellent
Pros: View from the window and balocny was fabulous. Room was nice but bathroom was stunning. In general I felt very good in this hotel - nice, relaxing, pleasent place where I got a rest.
Cons: 1) I had to wait 20 minutes for check-in and my room wan't ready anyway, then I had to wait another hour for my room. This is unacceptable in that category hotel - fortunately, as a recompensation, we got complimentary drink in hotel bar where we could wait. 2) Breakfast was rather good but just plain - in some B&B's they sometimes serve something more special, choosing 5-stars hotel I always expect something special, here I was dissapointed.

Pros: Loved the feel of the place. Very relaxing and comfortable.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was OK - but for this hotel, we expected a better breakfast
Cons: Staff in bars were generally poor - not friendly or efficient
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location right on the beach and the quietness were the two main things we really appreciated the most.
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Very smart in communal areas, great meal and drinks in the bar. If in the area again, we would stay here again.
Cons: Room smart but it did not have any air conditioning … and it was hot during our stay. I would have expected AC at the price we paid.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great room with lovely view, very nice bathroom, breakfast, location on the beach.
Cons: The staff, especially at reception, did not seem fully committed to the hotel's customers and they seemed somewhat disengaged. I was most disappointed that one of them told me that the Seaview restaurant was only for adults or kids over 12, but then I spotted kids in the restaurant at lunchtime. I would have loved having lunch there rather then at the bar. The lady at the breakfast reception, however, was very kind.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Property very good
Cons: Just like
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice golf course and beautiful sea view. Jameson Bar is great with typical Irish food. Nice staffs, friendly and helpful.
Cons: I booked 3 months in advance. But it was a pity couldn’t get a sea view suite. The breakfast was standard. Everyday the food was same. It was a little boring if you stay long.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and quiet rooms
Cons: All good
8.3 Excellent
Pros: On the ocean, was beautiful! Quiet for sleeping.
Cons: No A/C in our room, which was a junior suite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and Dinner in the Jameson bar was a delight. Staff lovely and helpful. Bath and shower lovely
Cons: Rooms are probably in need of an upgrade but this is real nitpicking as we loved the hotel.
6.5 Good
Pros: This resort is situated on a spectacular property with unparalleled views. Our room was nicely appointees, very clean and quiet even though there were a couple of major events. Upon arrival the person at reception was snobby and did not even offer to have our bags brought up to the room and honestly acted as if he was doing us a favor by checking us in. We had traveled from Killarney and were dressed very casually and it was apparent that we were very under-dressed--not a place to stay if you want to be casual and laid back. The staff, especially, Emma, at the restaurant where we sat for a drink, was courteous and very friendly. We ordered room service and to be frank the food was awful--cold and just not good. Beautiful spot but with room for improvement.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Meath Road is a lovely historic home with high ceilings and a wonderful location. The room was immaculate and our hosts were warm and friendly and kind enough to accommodate an early check in for us. We were visiting friends in Bray and it was an excellent home base for us. The lack of breakfast was an excuse to wander around the corner to the seaside and try the local spots. Full disclosure, we very quickly settled on Martello's as our temporary local. The room has a coffee and tea maker, but we didn't use it once, there were too many nice spots for tea to bother.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location within cooee of the beach, evening walks and plenty of eating spots. Dart train station only minutes away, so useful for trips to and from Dublin. Comfy bed and good shower. Hosts pretty awesome and so helpful. A big thank you from us both. Jackie and Albie.
Cons: Nothing.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property was absolutely immaculate and in a fantastic location! The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: at first thought property was good nice room kitchen facilities etc. Then
Cons: cameras all over place getting spied on and ostracised by management who moved me without explanation to a box room also bicycle tampered with got on my camera everything ok over xmas period when I was one of few staying and paying then things got nasty if you like being spied on being called up telling you door open cat trying to get in by owner ,also listening to private conversations in public area ,then this is for you not for me .Telling you its for your own protection no its called spying George Orwell stuff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location was awesome and quite good for stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: hard to explain
Cons: nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean rooms, easy check-in
Cons: CCTV all around premises without prior notice in the booking 0 insulation on doors so every word can be heard from living room Security alarms in place during night and in the morning until afternoon, made it feel uncomfortable to return to the premises during these times (although the option is there to disengage a triggered alarm with a code) - seemed very unnecessary in a neighborhood like this and with the abundance of CCTV everywhere
7.5 Good
Pros: The house is very close to the Luas and the Leopardstown Shopping Centre.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice neighbourhood, close to a tramway station, and above all good value for money
5.1 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: Very small. Bath room didn’t have towel bars, cups or bath soap. Walls thin when it came to noise. GPS didn’t locate it properly. A ways from the airport and city.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Bed was so comfy easiest check in
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good place to stay. Good facilities and very clean. Loved it. Gonna come back again!
Cons: I had shared bathroom so in the mornings it got very busy for all.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location to go to the Business Park in Leopardstown. Nice and large kitchen, dining area and garden. Space in the fridges and shelves in the shared kitchen Very easy and smooth check in
Cons: I knew the bathroom was shared but I think 70 Eur per night is too much for that. Also the room was extremely small. Also being rooms and bathrooms next to each other you could be waken up if someone was going to the bathroom during the night or early in the morning.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Close to LUAS
Cons: Rooms beside kitchen noisy and lacking privacy. Non-smoking establishment but smoking allowed in garden where guests transfer fumes to inside. Rooms are quite small and linen/towels are not changed during stay. In those respects Tintawn is overpriced for the quality of service offered. Nevertheless Tintawn is very clean and offers reasonable facilities

Pros: Breakfast was lovely and tasty. Location was very good, although we were there with elderly parents and the steps etc was difficult for them.
Cons: when the hotel is busy car park spaces can be difficult
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: The cost of meals et in Oliveto
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything. The location is so perfect, beautiful views and so close to the Dart train station that takes you to Dublin fast if you want to visit it. Plenty to enjoy in the area. The staff couldn’t have been nicer , friendlier and yet so professional. A combination that’s not easy to encounter. Great breakfast in a lovely dining room.
Cons: Loved it all. No complaints
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s a period building thoughtfully refurbished by its owner. The Haddington is blessed with a fabulous location overlooking Dun Laoghaire’s east pier. To the front is a beautiful garden where you can take in the beautiful views, enjoy a drink or two and enjoy a pizza from the excellent Oliveto Restaurant....
Cons: What’s not to like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: That the staff were very welcoming and happy to deal with
Cons: I liked everything about the property
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and great value for money
Cons: Bit noisy at night from the function room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant was able to cater for gluten free partner. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Great location for restaurants, the DART . Beautiful view. Yummy breakfast options.
Cons: Could have done with a larger bed in our room. Very noisy in restaurant when dining in evening.
6.3 Good
Cons: Did not get value for money the room was horrible, smelled of dust and tiny for €150 was definitely not worth it. Also I came to haddington for the experience of the outside bar to be let down by a wedding that was there until 6.30, so we basically had to have a drink outside of the bar looking over the railence to the obvious view of the pier but it was very embarrassing as we were paying guests and could not even get to use that facility on such a lovely day at the time. If i had of known this and the size of our room I definitely would NOT have booked. Credit to the staff and restaurant but I will not be staying in this hotel again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to the waterfront and town facilities
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and courteous. Nice location, right on the bay and a few minutes walk from the DART station, made it easy to get into downtown Dublin without having to *be* in downtown Dublin. In-house Italian restaurant was good, and provided room service.
Cons: Our room happened to be situated in the back of the hotel, above the garbage dumpsters and restaurant delivery area, so we had the occasional smell of garbage wafting in, and were woken very early by the food deliveries.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location, comfy bed and super clean
4.7 Okay
Pros: It's good value for money and very well located. Ideal for short stays.
Cons: No internet access from the room. Furniture needs refurbishment. TV is too small.
6.7 Good
Pros: the service from the bar staff was very good.
Cons: breakfast could have been better, internet use was very poor.
6.0 Good
Pros: excellent value for money- reasonably lively- food so so- rooms a little "ancient", but adequate
6.0 Good
Pros: the staff were very helpful and friendly.the bar was cosy and well staffed food was good value for money and very nice with large portions.drinks were also reasonably priced.all round very enjoyable stay.
6.7 Good
Pros: The position overlooking the harbour at Dun Laoghaire is superb. The location is ideal for travel to Dublin using the DART and there are good shops and restaurants locally. The hotel can have local musicians performing.
Cons: The rooms at the front can be noisy from the trains and if there is an event on a Saturday night as they are over the bar. However the magnificent view out to sea is compensation. The maintenance of the rooms needed a little attention.
5.2 Okay
Pros: Great view
Cons: 2 single beds joined together with a lump in the middle which was uncomfortable. The room is advertised as a double but 2 single beds pushed together is not a double bed.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Seaview. Wifi in lobby work well. Plenty of parking space.
Cons: No wifi in room unfortunately. On arrival only one of four lightfittings in room worked! Implies poor maintenance. When pointed out to reception all were quickly fixed, though. Breakfast at ten euro very poor. Extremely limited selection and bad attention to topping up the buffet.
7.6 Good
Pros: Meals were very good and value for money and all the staff were exceptionally helpful
Cons:
4.8 Okay
Pros: Great location, handy for Dart and a short walk to the seafront and the centre of town. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. We were on the back of the hotel and it was quiet for sleeping - no traffic noise and no noise from the bar. Breakfast was very good for the price with the exception of the coffee which tasted boiled. The location was great for the fast ferry terminal which we were leaving on the next day
Cons: Hard to get suitcases into the reception area through double doors and up steep steps. Carpets and fittings in the reception area are tired and don't give a good first impression. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling and tiles gave another bad first impression.
6.4 Good
Pros: The hotel provided all I needed. I was able to come and go as I wanted, the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was fine and the breakfast was excellent and well served.
Cons: The only thing I wanted and couldn't find was instructions for working the television remote control.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Gentleman on reception on check in on Saturday 27th July'19 about 7;30pm very friendly and helpful and same guy again on Sunday Morning very helpful even after long shift it would appear!!
Cons: Breakfast needs more that one staff member on or else more training so staff member although very friendly was making a lot of extra work for herself by just taking one order at a time when perhaps she could take a few orders at once to kitchen!! However she was very friendly but if you were in a hurry to go to airport or such it would have put pressure on you as service was slow and would spoil your enjoyment of breakfast. Not the servers fault but just needs guidance how to serve more than one table at a time.....

Cons: Lot of money for a tiny room.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was convenient to the hospital
Cons: It wasn’t value for money
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Was disappointed that breakfast was not served before 8.45. The location was good.
Cons: Was disappointed that breakfast was not served before 8.45 as we had to catch an early flight.
6.3 Good
Pros: I liked the bathroom, comfortable and with everything, and the towel warmer was a real treat. I liked that the bedroom had everything in terms of appliances, hair dryer, iron, etc. I loved the common room downstairs with the assigned fridge and the stoves, it would have been very convenient if I would I stayed longer.
Cons: The bed didn't have a fitted sheet, only one flat sheet to lay on top and the comforter to cover up. the sheet moved during the night, and there was no way to cover myself with something light when it got warm in the middle of the night. There no A/C either to solve the problem. But the part that I thought was the worst was the food, the pasta carbonara I had for dinner was very heavy creamed and heavy and the breakfast, which I was very excited about with when I read it, ended being very sad looking, overcooked and cold.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely outstanding, and the bar and restaurant are beautiful.
Cons: The room was clean though a little small.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was near Beaumont Hospital
Cons: We got a chicken curry that evening and it was discussing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: There was high noise in morning as some vans where off loading for the Bar downstairs early in morning.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Crisp & clean☺️ Was wonderful that my suitcase was taken upstairs to my bedroom upon check in (left it earlier at reception, as I arrived before check in)
Cons: Missed that I couldn’t make coffee in my bedroom , especially because I had to leave before breakfast time
5.5 Okay
Pros: It was convenient for airport
Cons: Unlike every other hotel/b&b I have ever stayed at, the breakfast choice was one item from the breakfast menu. So you couldn’t have cereal or fruit and then a full Irish, you could only have the full Irish or a bowl of porridge for example.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Paddy was an amazing staff member. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and schedule a taxi for airport pickup. The breakfast (included) was insanely delicious. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return.

7.5 Good
Pros: The host was very kind, helpful and accommodating. She let us do a very late check-in (1 AM). Gave us good tips on getting around Dublin. Great location. close proximity to the train station. Breakfast was limited continental - bread, jam, cereal, oats, milk and tea. Nice, spacious and clean bathroom.
Cons: We were a party of 7 and felt the room was a bit crammed with 6 beds, a bunk bed and just one bathroom (one could imagine a busy morning). There was not enough space for us to open our luggage to get things out which was a bit uncomfortable. The air circulation was poor leading to sweaty nights. The room could use some standalone fans and ventilation.

Cons: No lift
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was fab, Staff where friendly and Food was tasty, Room was bright and airy, bed was comfortable, bathroom was lovely, room is spotless.
Cons: The room 214 was very nice, but the noise from the Kitchen fans is terrible, they only turn off when Kitchen closes at 10 pm and they are back on early in the morning, It felt like there was a generator working in the room. I would recommend bringing earplugs, There is no lift so if you have a mobility issue this could prove difficult.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location and how close it was to everything . The staff were so friendly and so attentive couldnt do enough for us while we whwre there.
Cons: The noise was a big issue and the rooms had no air conditioning either so was hard to stay in it for long
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have been to this hotel four times an absolutely love it will be back again before the year ends. Even better my parents came to stay with me and my partner on the last day/night and they loved it too. They said they will be back for not one but two nights next time. Pros: Beautiful decor in bedroom. Bed extremely spacious and comfy, including pillows. Bathroom very spacious and clean, and loved that there was no little plastic bottles of toiletries. Best breakfast we’ve ever had in a hotel. Great entertainment in hotel and highly recommend for a break. Friendly and efficient staff. Clear to see that this hotel is managed extremely well and a customer’s comfort and experience is paramount. Thanks to all.
Cons: Honestly, there was nothing we did not like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room and bathroom were spotless, please can you come and clean my house too! I stayed on the weekend of the air show so it was exceptionally busy. The open restaurant looked nice and I would have tried it had it been less busy.
Cons: It is on the sea front and had music late into the night. If this might be a problem for you then suggest staying on a weekday or choose somewhere away from the seafront. The staff warned me and it wasn’t a problem for me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the little touch of chocolates in the room for my daughter’s birthday. The food was amazing! Friendly staff! The room was very clean and we loved the breakfast. Will definitely stay again!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the view from the hotel is amazing. the outside seating area in the restaurant is a lovely place to have ur meal. we were delighted to find the decking upstairs open to watch the fireworks from. we enjoyed the view while having our wine and nachos. they were delicious. the downstairs seating is equally as good. there was a dj playing late. all other staff members were very courteous friendly and welcoming. The bed was so comfortable wit great pillows a great shower with body wash provided. there was tea and coffee in the room a hairdryer and also an iron and ironing board. we had breakfast in the outdoor seating area downstairs this morning it was perfect. the hotel is close to everything and i definitely wud reccommend it to everyone. over all we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
Cons: we went up to have our meal outside in the restaurant. we ordered a drink while waiting and by the 2nd drink our food still hadn't arrived. the girl that took our order brought food to 3 other tables they had finished eating and still we waited.she never came back to us at all. another lady i tink the manager asked if we wanted food we told her we had been waiting over 20 mins but in fact it was much longer. my husband food came 1st then mine but it was the wrong order. dissapointing... The latch on the window in our room was missing so window had to stay open all nite there was noise made it hard to sleep.
