Pros: Foundry Masters House is a gem; clean and comfortable in a lovely location. My breakfast was superb - I chose eggs benedict from an extensive menu and got home made mayonnaise, perfectly poached eggs and proper muffins. The owners are friendly and professional, and well informed on the history of the area.
Cons: The lack of a desk in my room to work on - however, the local hostelry had enough privacy for me to work securely while having a nice dinner and a couple of drinks. It's a hard life sometimes :-).

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent friendly staff. Food in the restaurant is very good.
Cons: Breakfast was ok but would have liked a better selection. Think our expectations were high following the great food we’d had in the restaurant the previous evening.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The steak and service at dinner was exemplorary. The rooms are beautifucally decorated and the jacuzzi style bath was amazing. Great bar area and very friendly and helpful staff. The pub has been renovated to a very high standard and looks very trendy.
Cons: My only very small negative was breakfast. Ordered eggs benedict, both eggs were not runny, hardly any hollandaise sauce and the toast was cold so very dry and hard to eat without the sauce and runny eggs. If I wasn't in a rush I would of sent back and im sure it would of been resolved. I would still stay here again.

Pros: The good standard of the room and the quantity of the food.

Pros: Exceptional shower Decent tv
Cons: Car park was not close
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful little B&B - friendly, attentive staff and amazing breakfast. Perfect location with beautiful views. Would definitely recommend Thank you
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Thoughtful and friendly approach of the staff. The variety of unsolicited stuff in the room - sensible facts about Ironbridge, fresh cake and milk, biscuits and a small bottle of wine with glasses. Generally felt the team was welcoming and made us feel it was a pleasure to take care of us. The details of the photographs and the iron gate which was designed to copy the centre of the Ironbridge. All of this shows the owner and the team think about the venue and they care.
Cons: Creaky floors - due to being an old house. Not a location (bang opposite the Ironbridge, chosen by us deliberately) where one can open the curtains to look at the view without clothes on as the pavement is right outside!
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were lovely and very attentive The location was stunning
Cons: You prattle on in your guest house folder that your saving the environment IE: water usage I had to fill the sink 4 times to wash my face!! I was promised a quilt but searched in the night and could not find one. I wanted to put it under me in an attempt to soften the matress as the bed was so hard I was still awake at 5am in discomfort. The bed was ridiculously hard. My cups were filthy, after washing them in the bathroom the dirt still wiped off on a towel. The bathroom was amazing but building dirt and dust was everywhere. I have asthma and fine dust triggers attacks. Breakfast was poor. Cereal but no real choice. I had to settle for cold toast because we had be seated next to the entrance door which was open. We were also cold. Following this cold, hungry and very bloody tired we had a 200 mile drive after a mornings work
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very nice good
Cons: having to go home
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and great location
Cons: The room was to hot and we didn’t have the heating on
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was spot on, overlooking the bridge at breakfast. Staff were very knowledgeable about the area and were happy to help. The breakfasts were spot on, scrambled eggs were perfect and even if they weren’t they would advise what the delay was as they wanted them to be perfect. Had my birthday and picking up on the cards in our room Housekeeper kindly supplied a vase, very thoughtful. Comfortable bed.
Cons: The church bells were nice but they rang through the night and disturbed our sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was superb, very filling everything freshly cooked. the location was tremendous overlooking the Bridge. on the main road but not bothered by traffic
Cons: i would have liked to stay longer but we had other places booked on our onward journey to London
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: The bed too low, mattress too thin, too hard. Shower too small. Toilet is wedged between wall and shower screen. Room floor has so many slopes it was difficult to negotiate. Stairs more like a ladder, yes, they are steep with narrow treads and banister so close to the wall at the higher point it is unusable. What was booked was not the same as what was available. Will not be in a hurry to use booking. Come again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, wine and water was complimentary in the room and the location was perfect. Added bonus was they have a private car park a few minutes walk away.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Hazel provided a personal touch - I knew I would be arriving late so I was given her mobile number to keep in touch and I was welcomed with the offer of a hot drink, which was served in my room with home made cake. Prior to departure I was asked what time I would like breakfast, I suggested around 8am, and I was tucking in to my full English as the radio played the 8am 'pips'.
Cons: Nothing! I was extremely impressed and recommended to my business host that if they are suggesting a welcoming B&B for long distance travellers to use The Stanage. I will be back if I'm called back to Telford.

Pros: Lovely place to stay. Very friendly, excellent breakfast.
Cons: Our room was a good size, loved the wonky walls and floor as you would expect in an old house, it adds to the character. Our only criticism despite lovely clean fresh bed linen was that we did find the bed a bit too hard for us.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find, ample parking, lovely friendly welcome, very clean and lovely breakfast of our choice.
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was large and clean. Two people could stay for a week and there would be ample wardrobe space. Breakfast was a decent size and tasty. Owners were talkative.
Cons: I have a huge bug-bear with a room being described as double when the bed is two singles pushed together. You either have to spend the night squeezed into one single together or you feel like you are sleeping miles apart. Breakfast was served with all guests from all rooms sitting at the same table. It felt strange sitting so close to somebody I don’t know, whilst eating breakfast. Check in time was 5pm, which I thought was quite late and check out was 10am, which I thought was quite early. We were asked for our breakfast order on arrival. I don’t really know what I’m going to fancy for breakfast the night before. I felt that the issues listed above made the price feel a bit too high. If you want a really large room with lots of wardrobe space plus a bath and a shower then it might be worth paying that bit more for but given that we only had a window of 17 hours in the room it wasn’t really that important to us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: very friendly welcome excellent room out standing breakfast .would stay again if we were in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hosts Super clean Lovely breakfast Would book again without hesitation
Cons: Leaving!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a B&B with nice, clean, new-furnished rooms and a very good breakfast. It is ideal if you like the kind of communal breakfast (ie all at one table) that perhaps only a land lord who was once land lord and barman of the pub next door - yes he was! - could provide. One of us was delayed by crises and also had to leave early and all that was taken in stride. We received a friendly welcome and had a good time.
Cons: For us : ideal. ... If you were wanting your breakfasts left to yourselves and not at a communal table where the landlord holds forth testing his views on the visiting community - you have been warned!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly homely atmosphere

Pros: Staff brilliant. Gave me suggestions of places to visit locally. Great advice, loved Bridgnorth & Much Wenlock. Lovely walk to Ironbridge from hostel. Liked Bell Tower as quiet place. Fish pie was nice.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, small rooms, self-catering kitchen has good provisions. Cafe below provided good meals and an excellent breakfast at a good price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The extra mile given by the staff: I am severely hard of hearing when I take my hearing aid out at night & can't hear normal fire alarms. On mentioning this to reception staff on arrival I was provided with a personal vibrating fire alarm to fit under my pillow just in case......but thankfully no fire
Cons: Not enough time to stay longer.
7.5 Good
Pros: Fantastic vegetarian breakfast ... It had a good size self-catering kitchen and great games room for the children.
Cons: Can't think of anything !

7.5 Good
Pros: The room was lovely. Very clean, pleased so see it has air con. Could have down with firmer pillows or perhaps access to extra pillows in our room.
Cons: The staff at the restaurant were very poor. Didn’t remove dirty plates from our starter, until I asked them too, We we’re missing some items from our order, which then arrived when we had nearly finished eating. Another 20 min wait for plates to be removed from main meal and again, only when I asked.

Pros: Good price, was clean. Breakfast was ok. Location ok. Overall for a few nights work stay very good value.
Cons: Not anything I didn’t like but I probably wouldn’t stay here as a sole traveller as felt a bit isolated and reception is in the pub opposite which closed at 10.30 ish. Would go again if in a group of colleagues.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Bath in bridal suite was excellent
Cons: To Many flys in the restaurant area, and service was attrotious. Food was superb but spoilt by the service staff. Our sweet took over 40 minutes to conme as the waitress had forgotten to tell the kitchen, no apologies or explanatio, just a giggle between the staff about forgetting, very poor and unprofessional !!
10.0 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy rooms, great beers, good food
Cons: Little pricey
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a little quirky having a swing in the room and the bed was comfortable, although rather high. The hotel has a herb garden and a garden area for the benefit of guests. The ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant with excellent food.
Cons: Traffic noise is rather bad ( Nothing the hotel can do about this),probably better to choose a room at the rear of the hotel
7.1 Good
Pros: Bath Evening meal
Cons: Breakfast Room overall was a little dated
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice building, staff and gardens
Cons: Such an old building, it's probably listed and therefore single glazed windows with secondary glazing. Road was directly outside my room and it was very nosy through the night every time a vehicle passed. A very disturbed sleep.

Pros: Very friendly and welcoming and quick service. Room very clean and amenities good and felt very comfortable.
Cons: There is nothing we didn't like, we would have liked to have stayed longer, felt comfortable and very happy in the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: the staff were great and friendly and the bar staff were brill, very clean hotel
Cons: My room was next to a air-con unit or heater on the roof of the lounge so that was making a humming noise all night so i could not open the windows so it was very stuffy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice architecture cottage style, large rooms and comfortable beds
6.0 Good
Cons: The fact we didn't have hot water and had to complain to reception although the manager said it had been rectified and that it would be fine after ten minutes this wasnt the case it was a good hour and even then was only coming through warm.. Also my husband caught his hand on a nail that was protruding out of the woodwork around the door frame ..
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff were amazing. Very friendly attentive professional and hard working
Cons: No running water in the hot tap for the first night. No heating for the whole stay apart from a little tiny oil radiator. The room was cold noisy and probably the most uncomfortable hotel room I have ever stayed in. And I’ve travelled a lot in the UK on business
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, as I like it. Very friendly staff Very nice and polite receptionist.
Cons: The only fault was no heating in the bedroom or bathroom.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good rooms poor heating and only major channels on TV
Cons: No central heating cold at night and tv not working
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. Bed was comfy. Room was spacious and the bathroom was very good.
Cons: The evening meal. The menu referred to 'crispy' bacon but they just couldn't do it! There were no cocktails available.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, nice bed, good breakfast.
Cons: Old building so very creaky. Could not sleep due to people walking around above.
7.9 Good

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The Staff & The Quirky room (The Boardroom). Large Bath. And very large room .
Cons: Bedroom, had a disused door that would open at the top of the stairs... It offered no sound proofing. I Think a panel over this locked door would be an improvement. The Bed was quite hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s quiet position
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone and everything was so peaceful and easy
7.9 Good
Pros: Freshly cooked breakfast
Cons: Room dark. Slight smell of smoke. Windows inaccessible
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfasts have improved
Cons: Hearing the loud music from a private function till midnight, I expect to get a good night's sleep not suffer sleep deprivation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, room facilities and staff especially were wonderful. Close to the motorway, yet beautiful, peaceful grounds. Nothing was too much trouble for the duty manager who checked us in. Very nice bar food & breakfast, wonderful old parts of the hall (eg the staircase), which maintained its traditional country house atmosphere. We were in one of the Manor rooms, with high ceilings, sumptuous decoration, plenty of storage space, and a fantastic carved bed! We didn’t use the leisure facilities, but they look very good.
Cons: The public areas of the hotel look great for wedding receptions etc, but there was nowhere comfy and quiet to sit down in the evening over a drink. The only bar space was echoey, devoid of any soft furnishings, with only cheap looking bar stools, upright chairs and tables. Some nice curtains on those huge, impressive windows, some sofas and a rug or two would make a huge difference!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Getting a bit tired eg couldn't close windows due to warping of wooden frames. Kettle worked intermittently due to faulty switch.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Dirty room, springs poking up through mattress.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Poor value. Tired room. 1970's bathroom. Mattress sagging and budget duvet. Central heating didn't operate until early morning despite control in room. Disappointing as it's a great location, friendly staff and could easily and inexpensively be that much more comfortable for the rate charged.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: In a nice setting and the rooms are ok but could do with some basic maintenance, curtains were too small and falling down, TV remote only worked now and then. However the building desperately needs a lot of updating, the main entrance looks like it’s unused, needs a big sign saying “Reception” and a clean up. Don’t be put off though as the atmosphere inside is old and welcoming as are the staff, dinner was good and the breakfast excellent. I would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Needs about a million pounds spending on maintenance.
