Pros: a nice pleasent stay, staff very helpful , food very good
Cons: as its an old coaching inn rooms are smaller than used to but still very good
Pros: Fantastic dinner and breakfast. Really top!! Staff was extremely helpfull and friendly.
Cons: Didn't like the twin bedroom we had booked as it smelled of damp. Also to get there you had to go up the stairs and come down again. It was nicely decorated though. We changed rooms double bedroom.
Pros: The staff were just excellent. Very welcoming, helpful and informative. Good location in such a lovely town.
Pros: Well situated in ashbourne, good staff , excellent breakfast
Cons: Room freezing during the night & morning, with not enough warm bedding. My daughter moved her bedding onto the floor as she could feel the slats through the mattress, both of us had an uncomfortable night, not a good start for our business meeting.
Pros: Very good service
Pros: Hotel is small and staff are friendly and very efficient. Rooms are a reasonable size and bedrooms are well dressed and comfortable. Bathrooms could do with a little updating and water pressure when having a shower is a little low.
Cons: At present you have to check in within the main restaurant which is awkward. I understand that there are plans to alter this arrangement in the near future
Pros: The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the rooms and the main areas we saw of the hotel were extremly clean, the bed was very firm, which was great for me,overall an excellent stay.
Cons: Some people may not like the firmness of the mattress. I was not wowed by the food, but hotel overall is excellent
Pros: Breakfast very good
Cons: Located on busy road, disturbed by traffic noise during night.
Pros: Good loction and good restaurant.
Cons: Room somewhat cramped for the price. Price charged thro'activehotels greater than would have been through personal booking.
