Clean riverview room! Super comfy beds. Short walk to Blind Tiger restaurant (must go!) Casino was generous! (Results may vary. LoL) Staff was nice and helpful. Overall GREAT! No pharmacy nearby. Would have bought hypoallergenic soap and other toiletries from gift shop if they had it. My fault for having sensitive skin.
Overall nice place, room was laid out nice, with plenty of room. Bed was comfortable.

Nice oversized room. Large soaking tubs. Nice linens on comfy bed. Staff not very accommodating. Maids yelling back and forth in hallways early in the morning made sleeping in impossible.
Lots to do in a compact area The gym & pool closed early and opened late. Plus, it cost $8 to use the gym if you did not purchase spa services!!
The rooms were nice, spacious, and very clean. The toliet has it's on room within the bathroom. There were very few channels to enjoy out of basic and sports channels.The rooms offered room service and the higher floors boasts wonderful views of nearby attractions and shops. Despite by online reservation, I was quickly hit with an extra hundred for incendital. The hotel though connected to casino can not access a shared database to give new comers info on gambling. When someone new signs up for a players card at casino they get no initial credits but must pay a game to get points that can only be redeemed after the customer goes broke gambling. Also the food is very high compared to restaurants in a stone's throw.
Location is fabulous. Java, the little deli downstairs, is a hidden gem. A less than 5 minute walk to Eldorado next door. View was great as well. My room was dirty. A/c wasn't working properly. Bathtub didn't drain. Water from shower all over the floor. Toilet was constantly running due to a leaky flapper. Not good for $182!
The hotel room was clean and comfortable which we were pleased with. We weren't impressed with the casino itself. It was small and over crowded.

This was our first time to stay at this hotel. My wife and I really enjoyed the rooms. They were spacious and very comfortable. The staff was the nicest I've seen. The only down fall to the room was the air conditioning. The air seemed to never come on fully in room 1818.
The room itself was nice and pretty clean. Could have got that at La Quinta for cheaper though. Hallways smelled bad, front desk staff unfriendly, $7 for parking, $11 for breakfast, bad coffee
Friendly and welcoming staff The charge for parking. The noise coming from the pipes in the hotel. At 4am every morning the toilet would make this loud sqealing sound that scared me out of my sleep. I had to get out of bed just to flush it and make it stop
I enjoyed the alternative staff and the shuttle to the boardwalk and casinos. Did not care for the congestion of the cars for loading and unloading guests, and having to cross major street to get to cars in the parking garage. A crosswalk would be great!
Check-in was very simple and fast! The valet cew was wonderful-very polite, friendly, and helpful! The entire 'vibe' from the hotel was wonderful! I will definitely stay again and recommend the hotel to anyone that I know! I checked-out on Sunday Aug.22,2010 (today is Aug.25)...I was charged an additional $100 (total) in deposits and have only received half of that back...I'm being patient!
i didnt like that when the house keeping cleaned the room they folded the old towels and put them back and didnt give us new towels, and when the beds were done they didnt change the sheets out with new sheets and one bed got made but the other one didnt due to items being on the bed which coulda been moved and put back. there was also a note explaining y the bed wasnt made.
It was clean, quiet, and well-located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The location was perfect for quick access to the interstate and the parkway in Shreveport. We needed a room for the weekend because of business events. We had stayed at this property several times before, but not within the last 3 years. The 4th floor hall was filthy with trash and dirt. In the room, the TV remote would not work until my husband fixed it. There was no hot water even after asking for maintenance to address the issue; water could best be described as almost lukewarm before maintenance call and lukewarm after maintenance addressed it. The door to the room was crooked on its frame and would not close unless shoved with a shoulder; the door (Room 416) had marks on it where a crowbar or hammer claw had been used on it. Doors on dressers stood open; when pushed closed, they would slide back out. The lamp was broken with live electrical wires exposed at the base which was a critical safety issue. We explained all this and more to the manager before we checked out after the first night and went to another Hilton property across the river in Bossier City.
The hotel itself was really nice. The beds were comfy and shower was clean. The front desk apparently had some issues with late checkouts from the previous night. My kayak check in stated my room would be ready at 3:00 even though the hotel had stated their check-in time was 4:00. We got to the hotel at 3:10 and found out that none of our rooms were ready and that all they could guarantee would be a room before MIDNIGHT and if they could get us a room at that time, they would refund our money. They had no kind of "waiting list" ready or procedure on how to take care of us in an oderly fashion. I was actually told to "just go to the bar area and ill come find you". I later found out that people were putting their names down with some of the other customer service representatives so I got back in line and was now 5th in line. They actually did get us into our rooms around 4:45 or 5 but they could use a refresher course on customer service!

The restaurant's The check in and out lady was rude, seemed bothered answering simple Questions. Didn't like once you paid for room threw site, once you check in they charge you another 100 for deposit. Also when you check out you only get like 82 back (*took about 4 days to go back in my account) because of Resort fees?? Pretty much for using their WiFi. They Charge the 17. and some change everyday you stay.
When I asked for a disabled veterans discount for my second night the clerk told me 'They don't care about veterans, they care about reward club members'. My room was also downgraded the new night I stayed.

Location Staff, rooms loud, pillows too soft, woke up itching every morning, toilet paper super cheap, tub was dirty, forced to eat at expensive eateries in hotel, no other cheap eateries in the area due to casinos smothering the area. I would not recommend this place on the future unless you have a lot of money to waste and like to gamble till 3:00 am and stay drunk.
could not contact the front desk ever.. kept getting told to leave a message on a machine.. that made it difficult to get online or get questions answered about checking out
Nice room. There was a TV in the bathroom mirror and a walk in shower. They charged an extra $17 "resort fee" when we got there.
Large room with luxury linens. Beautiful view of the riverfront from the 21st floor. Resort fee when we only spent the night for one night and didn't enjoy the amenities.

We valet parked are Prius and they forgot to push the button and turn the car off so it ran the entire time while it was valet parked and ran the gas out of our car.
Walking distance to Boardwalk shops and IHOP. Seems like slot machine rotation happens often. Lots of fun machines to play. Cocktail waitresses took drink orders and they later admitted that they chose not to bring the drinks we ordered because they thought we'd just leave. We tipped the waitresses that would bring us drinks well, yet they were still rude and rolled their eyes. There isn't at least one place GOOD to eat inside resort. Buffet has terrible food. We'd rather drive to the Horseshoe. The Horseshoe has great restaurants, terrific buffet, and a bar for dancing and drinking. Always seems to be under construction. The gift shop is lacking. Horseshoe has tons of shops inside and a place to pick up snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. Margaritaville is newer, yet it's lacking a lot of amenities.

Room was overall nice, big enough without bumping into the furniture. Nice place to stay if you need a room with some entertainment.
We had an amazing time. The hotel was perfect in every way. The pool was outstanding. All staff were wonderful. Can’t wait to come back.
The shower curtain rod kept falling when I was in the shower and hit me several times on the head. The faucets need some tlc in regards to cleaning.

When we got to the hotel we found out kayak.com had not sent over our reservations and the hotel was over booked, luckily the ladies in the front desk are awsome (Kim and Dalahila) they did not stop until we were taken care of. They had a cancelled reservation and we were set for our fun weekend! The grill are wonderful The place could be a little cleaner
Location to downtown and freeways. More detail to common areas cleanliness. Some of the rooms' A/C was loud and clunky.
No one interrupted my stay. 1. Soap in the shower leftover from the previous visitor. 2. Stains in the bed sheets 3. Hair in the towels. 4. While checking in a couple arrived at the desk complaining that their room was a mess. Need I say more?
There were holes in the wall. Stains on the sofa and chair. Stains all over the kitchenette. It smelled horrible. I was afraid to take my shoes off. Had it not been for everywhere else being booked up and my car packed, I would have rather slept in my case. This plan isn't worth $10
The a/c in our room worked great!! No elevator in our building. No water pressure in either the sinks or shower. Our toilet lid & seat were very unstable, the lid actually broke off during our stay. Our bathroom door scraped the tile floor and made a screaching noise everytime it was used. The pool was not to standards at all!! It's an old property and needs a lot of serious upgrades.

Bed seems more comfy, new fridges that work, new paint in rooms. Good location, nice bartender. Building renovations are ongoing but until someone does some finishout its still a mess. Restaurant/bar is always out of food, mixers, napkins, etc. Doesn't seem like management cares. Lock on my room didn't work, easy fix but it wasn't done all week. Asked to repair cable to tv, It was eventually replaced but thr wall connection was left hanging out.
Our first room had all the drawers & microwave open and seat cushion sitting up at 45 degree angle in chair when we walked in. Front desk game us a different room. Unfortunately, it was all the way on the end next to train tracks. Heard loud metal squeaking sound and had to put sound machine app from iphone on to drown it out. Parking lot is not great either - hard to turn around and lot is small. Would choose somewhere else next time

Bed was great, lobby had been renovated and looked fine Renovation wasn't complete. Halls smelled of old carpet. Room carpet was old. One room missing toilet paper and coffeepot. AC wouldn't stay on and had to be turned on manually during the night. My room - the coffeepot didn't work. When I called the front desk at 7:15, they said they couldn't get me one until housekeeping came in at 9:00
The staff were friendly and accommodations were adequate. The parking was horrible!!! And the room was noisy! You could here everything going on outside over the a/c (granted our room was on the second floor). I would suggest staying on an upper floor to help combat this issue or request a room that doesn't face the road. There were several spots on the wall where the Sheetrock was damaged by furniture that made the otherwise nicely equipped room feel cheap.
Elevators didn't work. Sketchy parking "garage". Dirty hallways and carpet. Overall sketchy room and experience. Front desk screwed up our keys as well.
