With a stay at Hotel Rural Andalucia in Sierra de Yeguas, you'll be 21.2 mi (34.1 km) from Caminito del Rey and 8.7 mi (13.9 km) from Fuente de Piedra Lagoon. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Acogedor, bien cuidado, tranquilo. This is a place I can wholeheartedly recommend. Well kept with a beautiful Andalusian courtyard and lots of plants. Quiet. The owner is kind and helpful. She speaks mainly Spanish but will find ways to communicate. A varied breakfast is found in the fridge, I was delighted to also find fresh fruit waiting upon arrival. Fresh bread arrives in the morning and is left at the door. Price worthy. Beautiful. Nice. You will experience a real rural village. Will definitely return.
Pros: Five stars service for the price of two stars and in a beautiful inn.
Pros: Lovely room and Luisa is great
Cons: No kettle had to heat water for coffee in the microwave.
Pros: I really liked the patio outside our room. We sat there with a coffee and a book. It was very peaceful. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and it was a short walk into the town to eat at local bars of which there were many.
Pros: Very cozy and flowery mansion. Good location for the caminato del rey hike!
With a stay at Hotel Villa Olivar in Casariche, you'll be in the mountains, and 13.1 mi (21.1 km) from Villa Romana de Fuente Alamo and 16.8 mi (27.1 km) from Fuente de Piedra Lagoon. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The view from the roof terrace was amazing as was the interior decor of the property
Cons: My single room was really tiny & had no fresh air or natural light, which I found very claustrophobic.
Pros: Beautiful facility, great value
Cons: We found it quite noisy from The floor above (maybe area carpets would help) and also from outdoors
Pros: The staff was very very friendly, we had a great time. We sat at the roofterrace with a nice view. we could make a bed of the sofa so we sleep in separate beds. And a fountain with luxuryseats in the patio!
Pros: It’s a very nice hotel considering the price. There’s confusion on description because they say 24h desk and it’s not really 24h. I arrived at midnight and had lots of problems checking in. I was saved by an employee that came from home to open the door, when I was about to give up and leave. It was clearly not her problem and she explained it, but otherwise I would sleep in the car. Please note I booked the hotel because it did say 24h reception. Nonetheless, my score should not reflect that because the overall stay was nice.
Cons: It would be nice to have someone who speaks English. It would also be nice to have a bottle of water in the room.
Pros: Comfy beds, air conditioning, no sounds in the night, beautiful view in the roof. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The breakfast failed to meet our expectations, little choice. There was a smelly room.
Pros: Nice and very clean rooms. Hard to find a hotel this good in a small town! Very friendly service a nice bar. I will certainly return.
Pros: All good. Very large and clean rooms.
With a stay at Hotel Rural Hoyo Bautista in Martin de la Jara, you'll be 26.9 mi (43.3 km) from Caminito del Rey and 14.9 mi (24 km) from Fuente de Piedra Lagoon. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Surrounded by olive trees in wonderful location with beautiful views. Carmen made us feel very welcomed, thank you for the wonderful stay!
Pros: This hotel is in a beautiful spot and remote surrounded with olive trees. The owners were really lovely people and couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant.
Cons: For us, this hotel was a little too remote and there wasn't really anywhere else to eat out in the evenings. We normally like to stay somewhere with at least a few nice restaurants that are within walking distance. This has not got that and to be honest, the local little village/town doesn't really have much if anything. There are no nice restaurants, no decent bars. You can eat in the hotel without having to book in the evening which is handy, but for us, it would have been nice to eat out some nights locally. Luckily we were out and about a lot for the week we were there so we eat before we came back. The other thing that I think would have been nice is tea and coffee making facilities in the room and also once in our room there was not really anywhere to sit outside with a glass of wine. Not unless we purchased it from the bar and then sat outside of the main building. It would have been nice to have some seating outside our room where we could consume our own wine.
Pros: Swimming pool was lovely, smell of clean laundry around the hotel, loved the dogs and animals walking freely around the site, very good food.
Cons: A little clearer breakfast menu, maybe would have preferred a buffet style breakfast to ease the selection process as an option?
Pros: Absolutely ticked all our boxes. Quiet, serene, buried away in surrounding olive groves and country side. Excellent for bird watching. and chilling.
Pros: Hidden in an olive grove, this place was our absolute favourite during our holiday touring Andalucia- we loved our 4 nights relaxing here. The rooms are lovely, Andalucian style and spotlessly clean. You stay in an old farmhouse building- we chose a superior room upstairs looking out over the olive trees. It is very homely with laundry drying and nice communal areas. There is a lovely courtyard to eat breakfast and dinner in and a very attractive pool to relax by. We also loved the owners’ friendly dogs especially Manuela. Be prepared for a few free range chickens walking around- all part of the rural experience for us. The hotel is run by a wonderful couple who work extremely hard yet are very friendly. We enjoyed the home cooked dinners. Other restaurants and bars are available less than 5km away by car if you want cheaper or smaller but we chose to eat at the hotel every night and enjoyed the experience- it was our evening entertainment. Obviously you need a car to access this place, which means you can visit some Pueblos Blancos like Olvera and historic towns like Osuna. We recommend cycling the Via verde de Sierra which starts in Olvera, 55 minutes drive away (you can hire bikes there, see website). We were very sad to leave Hotel Rural Hoyo Bautista and if we return to this part of Spain we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended and thank you so much for a wonderful stay and welcome.
Cons: We loved everything
Pros: Dream location for the ones seeking an authentic Spanish rural location within sea of olive treas, enhanced with a pool to cool down from all those beauties. Great service, perfect meals and the best zumo de naranja in the world!
Pros: It's very authentic and well furnished place so quite and peaceful. Precisely a weekend getaway that kind of resting your soul. The room was quite big having a spacious bathroom. The lady owner was so friendly and kind, always smiling.
Cons: The hotel located literally in the middle of olive groves so if you go there after sunset it is really hard to find and you have to drive a mile on earth road so you have to get your car washed afterwards.
Pros: The hosts were very warm and welcoming. Although, they didn’t speak English we were able to communicate with signs quite well. Be prepared to see many chickens and couple of dogs freely walking across the property. The pool area was nice and exactly what we needed after landing in Sevilla airport. The room had AC that we did turn on in the middle of night, although the evening wasn’t hot at all. Room was nice, for one night stay we didn’t need much. We ate dinner or site and the food was delicious so was the included breakfast - with coffee of choice, orange juice and toasts with picked topping.
Pros: The hospitality and the Maroccan furniture and style
Cons: The entrance road was in bad condition
Pros: The property is beautifully presented, in a very rural setting. The pool is excellent. I would recommend this hotel if you want peace and quiet for a few days. The staff (Carmen and Antonio) couldn’t have done more to mate our stay better. Great food and drink too!
Cons: Nothing we could think of. If you need a break to go and get lunch, try the nearest town where there are a couple of restaurants.

Pros: I originally booked this hotel as a stop off on the way to Seville. After arriving I met a group of British Expats who held a 'Rat Pack' evening of music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior. It was a great night and the staff of the hotel all joined in as well. Very strange to find about 300 expat pensioners in such an isolated place.
Pros: Location was good - near the motorway with good parking facility Room was medium sized with a good comfy bed. Shower was good Evening meals were OK and reasonably priced No breakfast but the coffee was good Will stay again
Cons: The water in the shower was very slow to drain away and basically flooded the bathroom. Having said that when I took the receptionist to our room to show her the excess water she was very apologetic. I wouldn't hold this against the hotel as if nobody reported it previously how are they to know that there was a problem
Pros: Easy to get to from malaga airport via hire car.. Finding local towns easy too.. Food brilliant in restaurant.. The hotel is basic but very clean and staff and locals very pleasant...
Cons: Local to most amenities but car hire is a must.. There is a bus stop outside hotel that gets you too most places but don't think they run that often
Pros: Very convenient stopover on route to Portugal and good value for rooms, food and drink.
Cons: Rooms are in need of an update as looking tired. Swimming pool shut in mid October although it was very warm.
Pros: Lovely Spanish hotel with a lot of space pools indoor heated and outdoor in the summerand bowls green. They have entertainment and on the Wednesday we were there a market in the car park
Cons: Would have been good to have tea making facilities. Nothing much around it so best to stay there
Pros: Loved the place everyone so friendly

Seville, Cordoba and Malaga are all around 100 km from the hotel. You can drive to Granada as well as to Granada in less than 2 hours by car.
Pros: every thing
Pros: We liked the restaurant attached to the hotel and the friendly staff. The freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious. The shower pressure was amazing and we had a bathtub as requested.
Cons: The curtains didn't completely block out outdoor lighting, which there was a lot of due to the hotel being next to a petrol station and the motorway, but this wasn't a huge problem. There is no tea and coffee or kettle in the room.
Pros: I felt very at ease, all I asked for, I got or was at least told where to go to find. Highly recommend Don Polvoron.
Cons: Nothing at all, Fiestas in Estepa, was great,
Pros: Good quality for a reasonable price, free parking, reception open 24/24, good location.
Pros: Staff is very helpful and the food in the restaurant is great.
Cons: The area around the hotel doesn’t offer much to do. If you drive than no problem.
Pros: Fantastic staff- warm and friendly family hospitality, had the surprise and good fortune to meet Ana Revete. Very rustic and a good flavor of Spanish ranchero! Maria was amazing and between my lack of profiency in Spanish - I felt we bonded and felt simpatico with her as if I knew her for years; meal was fantastic- great steak- best piece of beef in all of Europe
Cons: Loved the experience!
Pros: The peace and serenity. The views are outstanding. You can't fault the friendliness or the hospitality.
Cons: Our bed was a bit uncomfortable but other than that we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Room was really dark so found it difficult to read

With a stay at Hotel Fortes la Nuit S.L. in Mollina, you'll be a 1-minute walk from Casa de Cultura Theatre and 9 minutes by foot from Iglesia Parroquial Nuestra de la Oliva. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: We reserved this hotel online the day of when we decided to go to the bird refuge. Mollina is tiny town. The hotel also has a bar/fresh sandwich type restaurant. The owner/operator was congenial. Spoke no English. We speak no Spanish but it worked out.
Cons: The room was very cool in April. No need for air - which wasn't on. We did not attempt to activate the heat. Just put on more blankets and slept well. Mattresses could be of higher quality. Everything was spotless. I understand that this town and hotel may get less traffic - therefore less fancy mattresses.
Pros: both great
Pros: Location of hotel was a short walk to the centre of town and very convenient for access to local restaurants.
Cons: The room was well set up, however, the window was internal to the hotel and there was not enough of a breeze to cool the room without using the airconditioner. It would have been far more efficient if there was a pedestal fan to ventilate the air within the room.
Pros: Amazing customer service in the restaurant and bar, we were well looked after by diago and Jose, including all the family and other members of staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. The hotel are very good with children, extremely family orientated people. As an English family, the staff took time to communicate with us regardless of the language barrier, which was nice of them :) Good selection of alcohol and food from the menu, the rose wine is particularly nice! 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the pedrera area.
Cons: No breakfast available but very good coffee!
Pros: Ideal for a one night stop over. Bar/restaurant menu provided a good choice a value for money.
Cons: Cafe didn’t open for breakfast until 9.00

Pros: We were totally miss sold as the opening picture and book now sign was that of a chalet. On arrival we were given keys to a 4 m2 shed!! We had to pay more money as I wouldn’t have left my dog in that
Cons: Not been miss sold, I will be careful not to use booking . Com as the owner took no resonsibility and blamed booking. Com
Pros: Cheap room, clean and comfortable - staff were very welcoming. The campsite is in a good location and is easy to find.
Cons: It did get quite noisy at night, people talking and shouting outside my window
Cons: There wasn't much to the campsite but then again we went put of season I'm sure in summer it is lovely
Pros: Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The owner went out of his way to meet the expectations of the property. Area very calm and relaxing. Bungalow with tv and air con.
Cons: Would have liked to sit with my dog by the pool
