It was clean We did not like the bed and pillows, very uncomfortable. Also our room smelled of cigarette smoke and we are non-smokers. Additionally, they put us on the ground floor and we could hear the "buffalo" above our room and all cars passing by the window.
Overall the hotel was clean and quiet. The room was attended to daily. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there. The elevator was a bit shabby inside and felt like it was going to quit on us at any moment.
Reasonably priced - when reserving online equivalent to the motel 6 with a more comfortable room. Pet friendly, Indoor pool, clean comfortable beds. My only complaint is that they changed the towels even when we hung them up for reuse. We stayed 5 days and would have preferred to have saved the water.
Not much Reserved a non-smoking room. Was given a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Never again. The place was full so no option for another room. Upon checkout the desk said housekeeping would address the issue, which helps me exactly how?
Just a quick overnight stay while traveling but I was pleasantly surprised. Very polite and helpful staff. I would stay here again.
The price was perfect, breakfast was good, room was very comfortable. Hotel was in a very convenient location close to shopping and restaraunts and super close to i5 Kelso isn't exactly a nice area. Most of the people staying at the hotel were working men probably using as extended stay while working at Longview fiber. A few different run ins with them with my 3 year old wasn't very nice. When I took her to the pool, some guys had the door wide open to deck and were drinking, smoking and cursing so we had to hear it and smell it. This isn't the hotels fault. I know Kelso and for being in Kelso and for being so affordable, this hotel does a great job.
We apparently were in a room were someone had been smoking. We we arrived the window was open, we did not notice an odder. That night sleeping with my C-pap machine it smelled like an ash tray. I have not been able to get the smell out of my machine since I left. It also got in our clothes. Not pleased!
pool and room were ok for price Young lady who checked us in was rude. Breakfast was not good and breakfast room was not clean.
-Walls were thin we could hear next door neighbors and loud footsteps from above our room kept us from getting a good night sleep. -the front desk personnel never offered to print a receipt for the stay when checking us out. -the place is overpriced.
The staff was friendly and was very upfront about their policies. No carpet and clean beds. Just a shower, but how many people actually use the bathtub? Small rooms, but generally I just sleep and shower in any hotel I stay in, so I appreciated the cozy feel. TV worked just fine on the channels I watched. WiFi was comped and worked well enough to stream a movie and do basic online browsing. A bit noisy from the upstairs. There was some traffic noise on the highway side.
Beds were comfortable. There was endless noise from the upper floor. The hotel is next to a highway and the hotel has very insignificant Windows. The was no blocking of external noise, including the barking dog locked in the owners car outdoor. Horrible nights stay.
Clean, cheap, simple, right off the freeway No refrigerator in room
No carpet, updated furniture and bathrooms. Wifi cost and barely worked. Tv quality was bad at best.
Close proximity to fast food, gas, a dying shopping mall and a movie theater. Unlimited hot shower. Soap, but no shampoo. (Come on, man). A stone's throw to a Starbucks. Paper thin walls. Connecting door to adjacent room allowed all sounds from those guests in to my unit, i.e., burps, coughs, talking, flatulence. TV automatically shut off in morning. Desk clerk was aware - said they couldn't figure out remote to fix sleep cycle. Huge WIFI sign beneath Motel 6 sign infers it's free. Oh no.....That will be $2.99 extra. (Come on, man...)
location shower head was spraying out the sides and had to be removed to use the shower Did not have a replacement on hand at the desk and no maintenance man on duty
cleanliness, friendly and comfortable. everything was great
Good location, nice staff and better than i expected for a 2 star. No elevator but nice pool and hot tub
When I checked in the lady was so sweet, I felt very welcomed! The breakfast was amazing!!! The lady in the morning when I was checking out was cold and distant. Totally different then when I checked in.
Nothing special Looks like a poorly constructed motel
the employees were awesome the beds sucked bigtime they were so hard that my bad still hurts 5 days later...it took me 1 whole day to recover from not sleeping...it should be called no comfort inn....the comfort inn in Astoria is awesome....but the staff isn't as good

Comfortable bed with lots of pillows and the late night desk lady is very kind & helpful. No meat at breakfast as advertised. Employee only made excuses and instead of fixing the issue (grocery stores very close). When asked to extend stay by 1 night (death in the family), they stated the rate would raise. No bereavment consideration.
The staff was amazing, all very nice people ready and willing to help me any time I needed anything. Our room still smelled very strongly of smoke. The whole hotel is supposed to be smoke free but every time we entered our room it was as if someone had just finished smoking. The fruit selection at the breakfast was a little poor.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. There is no elevator and although there are only 2 floors it was a surprise.
cleaness and polite staff.
Location to interstate The door lock did not lock, loose hingesThe bathroom sink did not drain and the television selection was poor An elevator would have assisted in moving luggage
Nice warm bathroom for showering, Comfortable bed Only 5 cable television channels for a 100 dollar room and that did not include a weather channel or any local news channel? No dvd/entertainment in room. No in room coffee service and when we were ready to leave at 7 am on a Sunday, no coffee or continental breakfast available as advertized. Bathroom had lots of mold/mildew where ceiling and walls meet. Overpriced for what was provided!
Location (access to Mt St Helens) Ocer-priced. Got better for less at Econo Lodge in Portland. The Continental breakfast is pitiful.
Great Access to Mt. St. Helens and easily accessible from I-5. Staff was friendly and the motel was very quiet. My children found a pair of worn men's pajamas on the floor behind the door of the bathroom. There was a centipede type insect in the bath tub when I began my morning shower. The beds are hard as rocks.
The room was very large with chairs and table. The room had a fridge. We were there only one night. It would be very good for a multi-day stay. Several restaurants within walking distance. The breadfast was sparce. Packaged sweet pastries. Did have coffee and juice.
The room was very comfrotable and the location was perfect for us since we were visiting Mt St Helens. The price was right and we received an upgrade. The room was large but had no personality-no paintings on the walls or ambiant lighting, etc. Very "cold" room.
I loved the ironing board and iron!
The room was totally new (including carpets) and large. It had a refrig and microwave. I would have given an excellent for "services/facilities", except that the breakfast room needs more seating.
Clean, safe, conveinent, good price
Walking distance to Amtrak station. No fast-food places in immediate area.
Nice beds for the money Breakfast was good but there is no dining area so either go back to your room or its standing roo. Only.
more than I expected for 50$ per night. Beds and room were great Mop water on floor when we arrived and wet rags in fridge. A quick walk through would have prevented that.
Price, Sketchy commercial seaport neighborhood. Most residents weekly tenants. Breakfast advertised til 9 but they put things away at 8:45. When I complained, some older woman, a weekly tenant jumped in the conversation. I told her to mind her own business and she unloaded a string of profanities and personal insults. Pick one of the motels on I-5 instead.
