Location of the hotel was excellent, staff very friendly, food in restaurant excellent, view from our terrace was the best we have ever seen. The town of Bosa was just beautiful all the colours guide books don't describle it well. And the castle overlooking the town was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel.
the young lady at reception was super friendly and forthcoming! The room was old fashioned and didn't match up with our expectations breakfast room is super narrow and unpleasant. No hot water in the shower in the morning
I loved the big spacious room and the big terracce! Staff spoke english well - except staff at the breakfast buffét.
The restaurant in the hotel was excellent.
Quirky hotel - liked the cupboard full of board games for visitors. No lift so glad was not on top floor. Quite a few building bits and pieces not finished off - wires hanging from ceilings, plug sockets put on at a weird angle - nothing major but sloppy finishing off.
My stay was wonderful. Staff is very nice and accommodating. They'll go out of their way to help you. The hotel is very quirky. I'll advice everybody to stay there, either as a couple oras a family. Great location, for the river, the see and not far from the lovely town of Alghero. Great stay and great food. I will stay there again. Nothing was too much for the helpful staff. I wouldn't change anything.
I have stayed at the hotel before and the previous experience was so good, another trip was required. Overall I can easily describe my stay as fantastic! A beautiful hotel in an equally beautiful city. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was no different from the previos stay - delicious! The room was clean and luxurious. I will be recommending this hotel to family and best friends.
The restaurant in particular was fantastic
lovely building, italian ambiance, nice restaurant breakfast rather basic - however, garden was lovely
View from large balcony 89 stairs to bedroom. Poor breakfast facilities,
I found it a very nice hotel, wonderful location, spacey room with wonderful view
large comfortable room, great location expensive for a basic hotel room
Absolutely delighted with this aparthotel. The suite for 4 was incredibly spacious and more like a whole apartment. Amazing location with river views, very friendly and helpful staff and beautifully decorated. Incredible value for money. Could not fault it. No.
Breakfast on arrival day while we were too early to check-in. Relatively large room.
everything especially the staff. No.
the staff were lovely. the hotel had a great feel to it and I was very comfortable.
the location and the interior of the hotel
Lovely big bedrooms. Nice and centrally located.very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast No,nothing.
We enjoyed our two night stay at the hotel and the view of the river was lovely. The location is good in terms of getting to bars and shops. We booked a double room with river view but actually were given a self-catering type apartment which had 2 bedrooms. Unfortunately the double bed was a bed settee and it was not very comfortable.
Situated on bank of River Temo. View of river from window. Room described to us as a suite but was very basic with choice of bed settee or 2 single beds in another room. Shower was hanging off the fixing and needed replacing, black mildew on the grouting in the shower enclosure. (We did ask to be moved and were offered a room in another building which had no view and we would have to return to the original building for breakfast) Breakfast was very basic for continental standards.
Very friendly staff. Wonderful home cooked 4 course dinner in the evening for 22 Euros per head, with wine and water. Rooms spotless and more than adequate. Relaxing, green gardens and picturesque pool. A great place to stay.
enthusiastic and caring staff; prime location and setting; valuable cuisine
Lovely countryside location, but within 10 mins drive of Abbasanta. Peaceful environment enhanced by the presence of the horse stables and the facility to have riding lessons. Guest pool was relaxing. No pressure on guests. I felt that the evening meal was a little overpriced at 25 euros per head. Compared to food in other hotels on the island it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Beautiful place, really nice people, peaceful stay in the country
Enthusiastic staff, the estate is very nice, picturesque swimming pool
excellent hotel and very kind staff with, we had a wonderfull holiday.
It's very relaxing, the staff is very nice and the horses walking around is very special.
The atmosphere is fantastic with horses walking freely in the garden. Recommend to come early and enjoy horse riding session It is very quiet and a little difficult to find
The suites were very pretty and spacious. Friendly staff and beautyfull horses. Breakfast very good. Dinner at the same time as other guest. The dinner in the hotel was a bit overpriced for the menu (four courses but a bit poor) Wine could only ordered in bottles (not by glass)
The breakfasts and dinners outside; the pool; the horse riding facilities; the cat and the dogs I minor disadvantage (but this is typical for Sardinia and not specially for the hotel) is that the dinner is only served starting from 20u which is quite late when you are a family with small children. For the latter a small play ground could further improve their joy ;-)
Quiet - large and comfortable room with good view - good lounge - good service - english spoken Garden overgrown and unattractive
Service correct. Owners speak French and English. Nice Garden. Beatifull view over the hills right up to the sea.Close to Bosa and the sea (10 min drive),
Room were of an excellent standard. Luxury, when compared to most Italian hotels. Hotel is large old reburbished house which has been done with taste to a high standard. All rooms are different we decor and comfort are first class. Hotel is small and intimate and staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little uninspiring.
Nice little village, beautifull hotel. Great rooms, very quiet
The location, nice and quiet place, the service
The style of the hotel which has been built in 1920 during the Art Déco period. We were offered a Suite for the price of a trebble room which was quite nice. Beautiful view on the mountains and the see. No
Very nice, friendly reception. Breakfast excellent. The heater took a bit long to make the room warm (October).
Pleasant hotel with nice style and friendly staff
The staff were very helpful the bedroom was the best we have had in any country with lovely views down to the sea breakfast out on the balcony listening to the birds sing. nothing
The hotel was nice "affordable luxury", staff friendly, good continental breakfast, the area was beautiful. The location: is not suitable to all as it's in a very tiny village with only a few pizzerias/bars 15-20 mins on a windy road from Bosa or a beach, impossible to find without a GPS. The noise: the village hangout is right in front of the hotel so you can't leave your window open at night.
Location. The area is not very touristy, which is a big plus. Breakfast. Very very basic for a 4 star hotel.
Close proximity of the beach We stayed with a 2 year old child and were forced to pay extra for a triple room instead of double as booked, despite booking.com info indicated children below 3 stay free if using existing bedding. Breakfast was extremely poor. Room furnishings quite worn out.
Nice hotel with good service and large rooms. Near to the beach and to nice restaurangs. They missed to tell us that the dinner was included in the price.
Clean, nice staff, always at your service, close to the beach Breakfast got better the second week, then got some cheese, salami and ham.
I was within walking of Bosa, the private beach, beautiful and larage swimming pool. The young kids who entertained is where fun. The music in the afternoon was too loud. We very much enjoyed the young kids who entertained us, however, they were a bit aggressive.
Really good restaurant (great pasta, great fish and reasonably priced) and some of the staff were really very nice and helpful Really don't bother. Spend a bit more and stay in the old town at the Corte Fiorita. Mannu Hotel (outskirts of Bosa) had no record of our booking and put us in a family room. Not so bad in itself except the room had not been cleaned since its previous residents had left - which was pretty obvious from the dirty towels, lack of loo roll and unmade bed. The staff (when any were actually around) represented could be jovial but useless thorugh to surly but helpful. The air con was noisy and a bit useless (not good in the searing July heat) and all the doors creaked alarmingly. Breakfast was a waste of time - yoghurt and day-old bread. Oh, and flourescent orange squash. The decor is also downright bizarre. Kitsch, cheap and entirely unmatching.
rooms were clean, relatively close to town, car parking, restaurant open breakfast not consistent
food excellent, comfort good no
Very good restaurant downstairs! The menu is in English
The staff were very friendly. Food was good. service very good for the price- a really nice family run hotel.
The best restaurant in Bosa.
The Locations was good, hotel staff were friendly and polite. We were passing through so only stayed for one night however no problems encountered. A very comfortable bed and fresh linen meant a good nights sleep.
Beautiful buildings, secluded, friendly staff, lovely pool, quiet, great room and bathroom, nice breakfast. We had a fantastic three days. Food was only 'good' and not excellent - the dinner setting is lovely but the food doesn't quite live up to expectations.
New hotel located at a quit location.
We staid for two weeks with a 6 months old and had a great time lazing at the courtyard lawn and in the sun knowing that England had some rather cold temperatures. We felt very welcome and the very friendly staff supported us whenever we had a query. And we really had the kind of quiet country hotel that we had expected... Only downside to our otherwise perfect holiday was probably the restaurant: the baby phone didn't quite reach from an already nearby room and the menu was at best a bit unimaginative & repetitive. ....and come on guys: no fresh bread in Italy for breakfast?
all of it, friendly staff
Friendly staff, nice location, quiet at night and the food they serve is excellent
The room was fantastic and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It is a really peaceful place.
Well appointed. Convenient location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathroom large and modern. Pleasant surroundings. Breakfasts not wonderful! Fairly expensive compared to UK hotels.
Excellent in all respects. We will definitely return to Su Baione, and would highly recommend this hotel. Sig. Ponterosso-Burns
Great surrounding, service and friendly personnel. It's a real quiet and beautiful area, and that's exactly why we went there.
A delightful hotel
Very friendly and welcoming staff, great location on beach, great for our one year old son No
Absolutely stunning location: one step out your door and you are on the sandy beach, perfectly clean blue water, facilities for eating nearby, beach chairs and parasol provided, pretty Bosa just around the corner. A perfect place.
The view from our beach patio. Breakfast served to our suite. December is repair month in Sardegna. Heat took 1.5 days to warm the room and toilet/shower did not function 100%
Straight on the beach, interesting surroundings, very friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant, great room (though we got a better room than what we paid for, so we don't know what the room we paid for is like).
Probably the first visitor of the season 6/3/07 hence ground floor apartment cold, basic but clean, fair price for 4 persons Apart from deck chairs, no lounge chairs in apartment.Although breakfast excluded in price, owner insisted providing b/f in apartment free of charge.(The bar and restuarante not open during stay.
The friendliness of the owners and staff and the access to the beach.
We chose this hotel for the location right on the beach which was perfect. The hotel is family run, and staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful - even ringing the airport for us when strike action was threatened (speaking a little italian (even badly!) goes a long way). No bathmat in the bathroom! Also nowhere soft to sit in the living area, but when the weather is good you don't need this anyway, as the studio terrace is very well furnished.
The views from the room were fantastic, very friendly staff. Would have liked a sofa in main living area and also patio area was not very private.
The residence is set in lovely gardens with lots of parking space at the back. Lots of space for kids to run around. There's a great little pizzeria (the only place in town where we could find to eat) where you can sit outside. Very quiet. The accommodation is clean, adequate, although the decor looks a bit tired. The hotel is a bit difficult to find.
A very pleasant, sprawling hotel with some lovely details. I loved the rock walls, the flowers, the green space the rambling building passageways. The hotel had two restaurants - a fancier one, and a pizzeria. The fancy hotel had great service, great atmosphere and the food was good - but not as exotic tasting as the descriptions in the menu. It was good food but not out of the ordinary. One thing that surprised us (and this is more about the pizza than the actual hotel) was one of the pizzas. Mine was excellent but my 9 year old ordered a potato pizza, fully expecting thinly sliced potatoes and rosemary but she got french fries on her pizza (and the fries were undercooked and oily) yuk. So that was a real surprise and disappointment. Just outside the door they were growing wonderfully fragrant rosemary but it didn't make its way onto the pizza
Good location for touring and beach activities.
The staff was very helpful in solving all the small problems
The free parking near the hotel. The restaurant with good meal for a reasonable price.
it's proximity to beach and leisure facilities. Hotel staf were very friendly and accommodating. we would certainly look to return
very good restaurant (recommended by Michelin guide); parking ok rooms facing to main street are noisy during the evening and morning (BUT IT IS ITALY :)
Staff very nice. Location next to shops, restaurants, the beach easy access and nice view from our room. Restaurant gourmet food priced fairly.
The Hotel was directly at the beach and the view was amazing. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful and caring. It can get very loud on the road in front of the hotel. I would also have liked to see a internet connection within the hotel.
Hotel staff spoke good English. We stayed there for 3 nights to explore that part of Sardinia, and to see the Grifon Vultures. The evening meals were poor both in quality and flavour. Guests should visit the hotel across the road for an evening meal where variety, quality and flavour is 100% superior. Hotel too far from the old town to walk in, in the heat!
The fact that the hotel was so quirky!
Very friendly personnel, good location. And to our surprise, the restaurant serves great food! Without a doubt one of the most wonderful dinners we had in Bosa - and the vegetarian risotto is yummie!
Very helpful desk staff. Quiet but close to centre of Bosa and Marina, as stated on website. Good service at breakfast and cappucino available if you request them.
Secure parking, friendly staff, cleanliness of bedroom
It's location was suitable for walking into Bosa and easy to find. I would definately stay again and use the hotel as a base to tour this part of Sardinia.
Very nice hotel. A little hard to find but ask any local and they will give you directions. A 5-10 min walk from the centre. Spotless room and beside busy road but you hear no noise. Good breakfast. Parking not the best but it is available - underground at the side of hotel. 10 spaces max. You'll fit 4-5 in driveway of hotel but be prepared to be blocked in,
Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, breakfast ok. Non.
Quiet holel, friendly helpful staff.
Clean rooms and kind staff. Maybe the worst location in Bosa. The design is really cheese.
The small hotel (more of a rooming house) was right in the center of Bosa (not easy to get to via car but very charming). The building was very old, and in spite of being at the center of things, it was dark and quiet, and provided a good night's rest. The owner's spoke English and very very helpful. It was not a dislike, but it is more of a rooming house than hotel (ie. no lobby, no internet, no cafe or bar) and while I did not miss these things, one should be aware they are not available here.
Large airy rooms which were very clean and in a great location with a very friendly host.
We were taken good care of by the hotel staff. That made us feel very welcome. Excellent handling of our problem with strike on french ferry. High quality of communication in english. Interesting and charming village/city. Restaurants with very nice atmosphere and good to very good kitchen. Would like to come back to the same guest house. Small shower with small hot water tank. But the room has good space and with beautiful colors. Charming entrance.
The host is very helpful, kind & correct. The room is very beautiful, spacious and clean. We enjoyed the trip with te boat for which the host made reservations. Bosa is perfectly situated: Alghero and Oristano (try the Is Arutas beach!) can be reached within one hour by car.
In old city centre, and 17th C house. Not far to beach (by car or bus). Shops & restaruants all near by.
The beautifull town of Bosa, the beatifull rooms and building and the hospitality of the receptionist Emanuelle. I recommend the hotel and this beautifull town to everybody. The hotel is close to the beach, there is a lot of amazing restaurants near by. Everything amazing
We arrived earlier than expected yet were welcomed by a friendly, English speaking proprietor. Room was beautiful, cool, in both senses of the word - and quiet, yet right in the middle of the old city, near museums, bars, restaurants. We only stayed two nights and would have been happy to stay there the rest of our week in Sardinia. Lots of useful information on beaches, restaurants supplied in a leaflet.
the owner was very helpful, he had prepared a useful list of things to do and see in Bosa. The room was very lovely, very clean and confortable.
perfect location-charming building-nice stuff- good price-everything perfect
The guest house is clean and friendly with large rooms and an excellent location in the centre of town. We enjoyed meals from a number of local restaurants and walked to Bosa Marina most days to enjoy the beautiful beach (20 min walk). The local wine is wonderful.
Friendly family, relaxed atmosphere, helpful hosts, comfortable room No.
Nice location, good room, nice breakfast
Outstanding hospitality. Very comfortable room. Very scenic location.
Friendly hosts, charming location, clean room, super breakfast on terrace. Remote and isolated location ideal for peace and quiet. Difficult access track.
Friendly and welcoming Bed and breakfast was up a very narrow and bendy unmade road on earth and stones, not paved and longer than described. Very rough going with some stone walls on either side - we stratched the side of the car.
A very pleasant B&B on a working farm. The breakfast served on the patio was by far and away the best we had in Sardinia, and better than we have had in expensive mainland hotels.
The beautiful, quiet location close to a small village. That the S'Imbiligu had only 3 guest rooms and it was run as a family business, with the proprietors living in the house. Very friendly and welcoming proprietors. I would have preferred one of the two rooms which had en suite facilities. Having said that, the large bathroom solely for our use, was just opposite our bedroom.
Nice and quiet location, with very friendly people. Spacious and very clean room. Back to nature. Surrounding is fantastic in real Sardinian landscape. Near enough to Bosa, only half an hour by car. Bit hard to find, even with navigation.
Wonderfully friendly and welcoming couple. Lovely location, close to the beautiful villages of Sennariolio and Tinnaru.
