We were unpleasantly surprised on leaving to be charged nearly €5 for two bottles of water, which we were under the impression would be free.

Beautiful property that is thoughtfully decorated. Our room - flagged with lovely marble floors - had a dramatic view of the castle. The gorgeous terrace alone is reason enough to book e place. But most importantly we really appreciated the warm service; the super meticulous owner was always around for a friendly chat or to offer advice. Superb value for money - def book this place!!

Great breakfast and location was perfect for walking around Sintra. Room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
No elevator. Rooms are a bit dated and decor and bedding feels old.
