Save yourself a lot of grief and use another car r
Pros: I liked that they had a car available.
Cons: You name it. Poor service, problems with the car, returned the car only to have left my phone in it. Returned to the car in 20 minutes and NO One had seen it. Not even the person who cleaned the car. I phone pinged back to their kiosk. ????????? No need to give you the rest of the details.............

Extremely difficult to reach a person on their pho
Cons: Sixt was extremely difficult to reach over the phone while on our road trip. We were needing to reach someone to extend our rental so that we would not accrue any unnecessary fees, however we were not able to reach anyone after 2 hours of trying to navigate their automated system. This was unacceptable, as we were forced to return our rental in late, just hoping that we would not get charged extra fees aside from another rental day.

Pros: The car was great.
Cons: I was emailed that i could skip the pickup line if i filled out a form online. I did that but was still required to wait in line for more than 1 hour to get the car.

Fast and easy
Pros: I was unsure how this would go based on another review I read. There was no line and plenty of people ready to help. The ladies that helped me were nice and prompt. The car was ready early. The car was new and clean. I loved it.

Pros: The staff amazingly friendly helpful professional with kindness. Made the rental easy and fast willing to help out on anything. Great car excellent value.

Dirty car and poor customer service....
Cons: Car was dirty. Getting the car took forever and dropping off they were super rude. Rent cars almost every week. First time trying sixt and last. My advice go to someone else.

Someone Else Rented That Car On My Credit Card
Pros: Nothing about this experience.
Cons: 1. I didn't rent through them, I actually was on vacation some where else. 2. When I called them to cancel the reservation that was made in my name by my credit card, but not by me they redirected me to the online service that supposedly charged my credit card that service never answered their phone and the next day it was disconnected. 3. Over all experience was not good. Not sure if Kayak compromised my card or not, but probably last time I use kayak or sixt

Pros: Car return process was quick.
Cons: Still didn't get the final receipt of bill and car return by email. At the time of return in garage agent show me receipt in small device that she is going to send me but still didn't received email. I checked my junk email. At the time of online booking for van "SIENNA or similar" Actually they don't have any Sienna in fleet as per booking agent. If you don't have don't say.

Make sure they note sctratches
Pros: Everything except the damage policy
Cons: I told the guy in the booth there was three scratches on the hood and he assured me they were recorded then upon return they want to charge me for thrm.

Best Car Hire Yet!
Pros: The car was reasonably new, clean and well looked after. I had the car for 43 days and the charges through Kayak were very reasonable. I would most definatly use this service again.
Cons: Nothing! it was a great service

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
Cons: The lady at the counter lied to me and told me she didn't get my reservation. I knew she was lying to me because when I gave her my reservation number she told me it's for 2 pm. I never told her that information but she knew. It was 12 pm at the time so she couldn't have known that it was booked for two. Then she totally switched and said oh no I don't see it. She was just being spiteful I could tell because she had something against me since the moment I got there. She was dismissive and very unapproachable. She was the African American woman working there at 12 pm on the 11th of January. Please hire people with better attitudes. I ended up going with Alamo and still have the car. I wanted a luxury car and ended up paying Alamo $1000 for the car. You should learn how to treat your customers. I have been a sixt customer in Dubai too where I rented a Mercedes GL. Had a great experience that's why I came back. Never coming back again.

Pros: Ended up with a SUV (GMC ACADIA) that was large enough for Four adults with luggage. Great rep in the garage helping to resolve a terrible mix-up. Easy to find lot on pick-up and drop-off.
Cons: I requested a large Volvo 90 and called to confirm I had it. This was affirmed. I called again three days before pick up and was told they did not have them (SEATAC OFFICE..) This was AFTER I called the national office (very nice representative) and was then referred to the local office. There was no answer and after 10 minutes it looped back to the national office. The national rep agreed to send an email to the local office with a summary of my issue. Later that day a local SEATAC office rep called . When we arrived on the pick-up day the desk rep told us the VOLVO 60 would not be large enough and we should upgrade to a Mercedes for an ADITIONL ten dollars per day! We upgraded BUT when we got to the upgraded Mercedes we found it was no larger then the Volvo 60. Thankfully we were able to work with a terrific young woman in the garage who was able to get us a SUV which met our needs very well. It is sad that this could have been resolved at the very start .

Pros: The helpfulness of the staff and the straight forward terms. It was also an excellent value!!!
Cons: I reserved a Mercedes and was instead given a Volvo. Not a big deal though, as they gave me a higher quality model and only charged me the original price.

Pros: Excellent car! Often times when you rent a car they give you the entry model. Our Volvo XC60 was brand new fully loaded with all upgrades.
Cons: We arrived at the airport the car was not ready. They asked us to wait 15 minutes, but there was no waiting room and it was very cold in the garage. So we went to a covered area in another floor, and after we returned 20 minutes later it was still not ready, we had to wait some more.

Kayak price VERY misleading.
Pros: I liked the VOLVO XC60. I don't know that has any benefit for Sixt.
Cons: I DID NOT like that I had to take an ADDITIONAL shuttle to get car. I DO NOT like the ADDITIONAL charges. EVERYONE was rude and did not wanna come out to assist in the rain. Kayak price VERY MISLEADING!!!!!!!

Pros: We were told we could drop the car off at a location in downtown Seattle instead of the airport so we went there because it was more convenient. When we did that, we were then charged a $150.00 one-way drop off charge which we were not informed about previously. Both the guy working the desk, Terry, and the manager, Shelby, were very helpful in correcting that extra charge and we were credited back the $150.00. Overall, Sixt was very good to work with and the car we had was great. I wish they had a rental store in Fort Myers, FL because we need a car there next month!

Pros: Customer service was swift, friendly, and accommodating. I rented a standard and got an upgrade to the next level because of something I thought was not a big deal( it took a few minutes to pull the car around). I ended up getting a luxury leather seated dream car with navigation-which helped tremendously while driving in BC, Canada. Loved it.
Cons: Not applicable. There was not one thing i would have changed. I enjoyed it all, checkout was easy and every one on staff was friendly and accommodating. They made the whole process really easy for me. The price was great too.
