Pros: small apartment 2 rooms 2 single beds and 1 large + sofa in the kitchen. wifi was excellent. parking area, host was friendly and helpful.
Cons: the single bed was not comfortable, small rooms. its ok if you are 3 or 4 only. nearest supermarket about 10 min. driving.
Pros: Had all the kitchen amenities that you would need for a weekend or week stay. Friendly hosts. Walking distance to the village of Sixt. Good location to various hiking trails. We were traveling with an 20 month old, and appreciated the baby bed and high chair.
Cons: It's summer and like most places in France, there is no air conditioning. The goats next door were cute, but did create additional flies in the apartment. It's the 'country' so again, not a surprise and okay by us.
Pros: Great location in a beautiful valley. A comfortable chalet.
Cons: A few basic amenities were missing, eg washing liquid, kitchen sponge, bread knife.
Pros: Mountain View, kitchen use, shower water pressure good, oven.
Cons: We were not given any instructions about the house. When we arrived we opened a window and sliding door to get some fresh air for a few hours. We then noted many flies in house and closed door and window. We spent hours over the next 3 days killing over 70 flies, even though we kept house shut up and were gone each day. The flies buzzed us and woke us up as soon as the sun came up. We were hot at night because of the closed up windows and the only cover was so warm and heavy. We also couldn’t eat dinner outside due to flies. There must have been an infestation and the property needed to be sprayed or treated. We emailed the owner but she was traveling so couldn’t respond soon. When she did she said she was sorry for the flies but did not offer to rectify or to offer any deduction. Also there wasn’t even a bar of soap or proper cleaning supplies to leave clean. We stayed 3 weeks at 7 different hotels or homes with windows opened and did not experience this fly issue. We wanted to leave the very next morning but we had agreed to 3 nights and had paid. It was miserable. Perhaps it was a unique incident. I don’t know.
Pros: I had a room with a nice view.
Cons: This is a pretty basic place for the budget minded tourist. The rooms are OK, but of very basic quality. The hotel has pretty thin walls. Do not expect soap or other amenities. If you don’t expect much, you will be not disappointed.
Pros: The view from the balcony is absolutely outstanding.
Cons: More work top for coffee machine/ kettle.
Pros: - window faces the mountain - fully functional kitchen appliences - helpful staff. Alexander did a great job
Cons: - no clothes hooks in toilet
Pros: Great check in. We were late and met upon arrival and given all the information we needed. Very peaceful. Lovely balcony.
Cons: Room dated but that was reflected in the price. Still very comfortable and well equipped.
Pros: Excellent location for walking the #GR5 for the Red Rubber Ball Foundation charity,. See https://wonderful.org/fundraiser/jonandbriansgr5challenge-ae428dad
Cons: Room was in the eves
Pros: Great location, great views, room was large enough with partial kitchen, close to kayaking on river and hiking, beautiful area of france.
Cons: check in and out was a bit confusing...keep the phone # handy, it went well though.
