Very clean and functional hotel.Good bedding, thick towels and a good shower for a Greek hotel in this category. Good value for the money.Excellent hotel location and water views. Although the hotel has air conditioned rooms, these are not invidually controlled. Small TV screens.
Easy access from the Ferry port, good size room, great view
good seaview, friendly staff. breakfast a let down.
The rooms were clean and well air-conditioned. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was served with a smile...loved the fresh peaches!
View and location were good No wireless or other internet access in room and staff was unfamiliar how to get yjeir lobby wireless working
It's location is great, although old, it is very clean. We stayed there as a transit to catch a boat to Kythera. It's lift needs an upgrade.
Staff rather helpful and friendly. Room was really clean and cosy and bathroom really perfect. Nice view from the balcony. We were very glad to use internet in our room. Brekfast was very poor. The nearest beach is located 2 km away.
The proximity to the port and the convenience of walking distance to local restaurants Total lack of parking - no parking facilities and the hotel is on main road out of town.
The location was perfect forthe activites that I did The night desk was not helpful
Great location, almost on beach front. Good economical base for exploring the Mani Peninsular and Areopoli. Rooms big, loads of space. Our room had a big balcony, perfect for alfresco dinning. Breakfast (although not really "English") was excellent. Boiled eggs, muesli, yoghurt, huge basket of toast, , jam, honey, fruit, cheese, coffee, hot choc & cake! Great value for the price - we didn't need lunch! No lift, so not really suitable for elderly, as far as lugging suitcases up the stairs goes. Needs a new remote for TV, but that's all we can think of
Excellent value for money. Spacious, well-maintained accomodation.Much better than many new and more expensive hotels in which I have stayed. No.
the staff were very kind and the breakfast were very well prepared. The room was big and close to the sea. The parking place available. It was very hard to find because there was no indication from the main street.
Clean spacious room, nice view from the enormous terrace, friendly staff. The wifi signal is very weak on the second floor, practically unusable.
Omg what an amazing hotel! Was a bit of a nightmare to find as the Greek roadsigns aren't always the best, and it is very high up in the mountain, so you need a really good map. The Hotel had put their own signs up near the hotel which were very helpful. The hotel is of a top quality finish, and George & Gina were not there when we arrived, but we were made to feel more than welcome by their Aunty Mary who was visiting from Canada. Food was Superb, (Mostly homemade by George) Sausage, Smoked ham, Cheese, Bread etc. and when Gina arrived she made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was yummy with a superb omelette and I even took an early morning in their natural pool!! The only thing that I missed in this hotel was a fridge.
If you like mountains this hotel is in the perfect location. The husband and wife running the hotel were extremely friendly, helpful and considerate. They took real pride in providing great service. The home cooking was wonderful. We didn't want to leave!
Excellent hosts, excellent food and excellent location.
A grate place to fell yourself far from noisy overcrowded cities. Beautiful nature. Good place as a base point to drive over the south of Peloponnese and a good place to spend here time with a pleasant company. GPS-point is now correct on Booking :-)
Hotel Faris was easily our best stay of all places during our 3 week vacation. Although the trek up the mountain to the hotel was intimidating at first, once we arrived it was all worth it. The hotel is perched on the top of a mountain, with indescribable scenery, cool mountain air, and absolutely fantastic food. The owners, Gina and George, were absolutely amazing during our stay andmade us feel rigth at home. If travelling to the area, you MUST stay at Hotel Faris.
We are a family of 5 and our stay at Aris Studios was wonderful. The staff are great and very helpful. The views are amazing and a great swimming beach 80 meters in front. The rooms are immaculate and clean. We will definitely stay there again if we visit in the future. Laundry facility on the premises would have been great.
it had everything we needed, very clean, compleatly new and very nice it was pretty difficult to find the way to the hotel.
Everything is new and clean, the facilities are great. The people are extremely kind and helpfull. All the guests were greek people and some of them were very noisy
Nice and clean; they have one double bed, a sofa and a twin movable bed. It's placed on a steep hill circa 100m from the beach. The two rooms have both AC, but they are not independent in the sense an open window in one room does not allow AC in the other.
The personal attention given to all guests by the owners and staff making sure that everything was ok, and the location and view. The studios were missing a kettle and the showers were a bit small but everything was spotless.
Great location, right on the beautiful Mavrouni Beach. Near the hotel you'll find a tavern with good food at reasonable prices. Great choice if you are looking for a quieter and remote place to spend your holiday. Also a good place to use as a base for exploring the spectacular and history-rich Mani Peninsula.
Literally on the beach (blue flag). Very nice restaurant at affordable prices with excellent food.
Great location, just on the very good beach; very quiet, at least in September. Friendly staff. Strategic position in the middle of south Peloponnes, less than one hour drive from great places like Many and Mistras. We got everything we expected to find here.
The room was spacious and well furnished. Breakfast was to a large extent home made by ms Demestiha who was extremely polite and sincerely tried to make all her guests to feel at home. The view from our room was really nice. The external appearance of the hotel building is extremely disappointing and should be renovated urgently. There was a serious problem with the sewage system of the hotel which resulted in an intense smell in the room throughout our stay.
Extremely pleasant and friendly staff. Travelling with young children and we were all treated well. Included breakfast was rather simple. However, the fresh-squeezed orange juice was exceptional and must be mentioned!
Excellent location right on the beach and a good base for driving to many sites in the southern Peloponnese. We were very appreciative that the owner/manager stayed up past midnight to wait for our late arrival. She was extremely helpful with much advice for our day trips. Our studio was quite spacious with the best equipped kitchenette of all the apartments we stayed at in Greece. A nice bonus that was not listed on the booking.com website for this apartment is that our room rate included a decent breakfast.
I found what i was promised.
Katerina, the owner was very kind and helpful towards us... she even drove us all the way to the town and helped us catch our bus to sparti.. she was very kind to give us free internet access all night long even though its stated on the website that internet is chargeable... thank you so much katerina! we really enjoyed our stay at your hotel!
A good and full breakfast - staff were friendly and helpful. Close to beach and better placed than staying in Gythion. Although the room was passable it could do with being revamped. Bathroom/shower room was of a poor standard with an open internal window - needs a much better finish. Other rooms had much better bathroom/shower facilities.
Beautiful location, spacious room, new and clean. The walls are thin, neighbours disturb.
