What is not to like about this one? It's modern and spotlessly clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is good. No complaints, just words of advise for other guests. I'm not sure how many of the staff speak English, but all seem to speak German. The kitchen closes at 9.00pm.
clean, good price the staff was not speaking very well english but we managed ;-)
Very peaceful area and nice surrounding of nature. Very good for walking. The food at the restaurant is very good and well presented. Unfortunately there is not much use of English language among the staff so at times it may be hard to communicate. No problem if you know German or Czech of course.
The hotel staff - very pleasant and helpful; the location - fresh air, beautiful place and close to the town; excellent breakfast; the sauna N/A
Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The hotel was beautifully presented; the staff were helpful and accommodating. It is an idyllic place to unwind.
Really good looking place inside and outside, excellent first impression, nature, view. Pity for the details... Not a 3 star hotel but a pension, room looked nice but the details - like not used for a long time, empty minibar off, clean but poor bathroom, not acceptable shower (no shower door but curtain sticking on your body, no soap holder).
I loved the view from the dining room, the breakfast, my room, the giant indoor plants, the proximity to the castle and the friendliness of the owners and staff. I didn't like paying 200 Czech crowns for a taxi to get to the hotel from the station, especially when it only cost 283 crowns to travel by train from Prague. But even worse than that was the taxi driver who was booked to take me back to the station on Sunday and instead drove me to Cheb. He wanted me to pay 345 crowns, which I didn't do!
Location is great- close to the major sites of the town. Despite the price, there is a mini-bar in the room. Managed by a young staff, not service-oriented. Hardly speaking English. First foreign language for them is German, and also very poor one. The towels are worn-out and they still use the metal key instead of the digital card. No double beds- two separate beds close together are considered "double"...
