Waterfront hotel, quite new with lovely atmosphere. Great pool and restaurant areas. Rooms very comfortable, newly decorated in Greek island style. Away from but in view of port.
Excellent staff - very friendly. Beautifully designed hotel and amazing landscaping. Convenient distance to town. Nice to have 2 pools to get away from all the kids. Extremely hard beds. I had to actually move the couch pillow on the bed to be able to sleep.
The hotel is very close to the port of Skopelos, approximately 15 minute walk. Parking is available very close the hotel if you have a car or moped. The staff is friendly. Breakfast could have more variety.
In the quaint little seaside town of Skopelos, I'm surprised to find a very chic and modern hotel like Skopelos Village. By far, it has to be the best hotel in Skopelos island, and the staff were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. No wonder the stars of Mamma Mia left such high praises in the guestbook about their stay in the hotel. We left in a hurry one morning & a friend of mine accidentally left her mobile phone in the hotel room. Skopelos Village actually sent their staff to deliver the mobile phone to the ferry people in the port so that it could be passed on to the hotel staff in Skiathos where I was already at. With no charge. Now that is what I called personalized service. Thumbs up! I was there in early May, so the weather was still a little chilly. The rooms had no heater and it got really, really cold at night (well, for tropical people like us, it was really cold)
Its location to the town of Skopelos, the ferries and the buses and most of all the sea view from our room. The staff could not have been nicer I thought the food an drink in the hotel restaurant was quite expensive and the food did not rate all that well
kindness and professionality nothing
I stayed with my family for 4 nights at the executive suite and we were happy with the rooms and especially the small garden in front of the french windows and the smell of herbs which came through the bedroom window. The restautrant does not offer any fish or seafood which we found quite disappointing.
the room was lovely and the reception staff friendly one member of staff in the resataurant was unhelpful and unfriendly
Pool No propper shower hose fixing on wall had to hose yourself down as to having a propper shower was told this is not a problem dirty shower curtin . Room bed /linen clean this is not a three star hotel two star with a push it could be a good hotel with lots of improvment
Nothing We don't like our stay at Dionyssos hotel. We stay3 weeks in Greece only in this hotel reception people are not friendly and not helpful. Many stairs up and down to go to the rooms and nobody to help us with luggage. Very poor breakfast. Bad smell at toillets's rooms. Water to the wc not function. air condicionating at rooms not function. Rooms very hot. If we return again at Skopelos we don't go to Dionyssos Hotel, Hotel to expensive for low quality
Close to all local facilities, very friendly staff, great pool, working air conditioning, good sized room and clean up a bit of a steep slope so might not really be suitable for wheelchairs without strong support. shower was very basic with no wall attachment ...
The views and location to the town. The rooms are spacious and clean. The shower is far too small and dated. the flushing system really needs updating and the wifi is too weak and connection is often lost.
Very friendly staff Apt to be noisy in the early morning.
I enjoyed the cleanness of the room and the quiet and calm environment. Also the balcony had a beautiful view and the staff was very polite and dιscreet. A bit old fashioned decoration. There was no bath tube, not even in the expensive rooms and the shower was amazingly small and uncomfortable.
its close to the town, has a good pool and friendly staff. we stayed there six years ago and it hasn't changed at all. could do with updateing.
The quiet and location of the allocated room within the hotel. The friendliness and genuine warmth of the staff. restaurant food very good. The music played around the pool area could become tiresome and occasionally noisy or inappropriate to the type of guest - not everyone likes constant music. Considering the amount of fruit grown on Skiathos, the daily melon and tinned fruit for breakfast should perhaps be improved upon.
The staff treated us more like friends than guests. A lovely small hotel in a good location.
The staff at reception were so welcoming and the dudes looking after us at breakfast were cool. Only a short walk to a very relaxing beach. The room was excellent with an awesome view over the bay.
We enjoyed very pleasant atmosphere of the family hotel Magic. Also the island of Skiathos is beautiful. It is a real Paradise with many wonderfull beaches, crystal pure water in the sea and azzure blue sky all the time.
Everything was very nice. Food was good staff were excellent. View from balcony amazing. Only real disappointment was the at the rooms were small, given the price we paid. We were annoyed that having booked and paid for a triple room it turned out to be a small standard twin room with an extra bed shoved in with no room between any of the beds-uncomfortably tight accomodation. Also the air conditioning was too loud.
Our delux comfy room with 4 poster bed was lovely with balcony with great view of the sea. Having breakfast with a panaramic view was an added bonus! Fresh fruit juice and more fresh fruit rather than tinned & melon would have improved the breakfast! Its just a shame the beach is on the other side of the main road but the views are stunning! A solution could be to get an area on the beach for your own sunbeds?!! Would like to see the communal corridors and external stairs cleaned more often.
Fantastic views, perfect location, outstanding rooms, friendly staff, lovely restaurant, great breakfast selection perfect holiday
location, clean, friendly staff couldn't do enough for us.would go back anytime. breakfast was ok but not enough choice of hot food.
Friendly staff clean rooms, fantastic views and location Pool bar was not open but was due to open soon
Wonderfull view, friendly and helpfulll staff, excellent breakfast
Reception staff on arrival very good- showed us to room. Room clean and everything available. Well cleaned and excellent bathroom. We ate twice in the hotel restaurant in the evening- first time Asian food- not very good- food was quite cold when served. Second time tried South American- average food- not as good as we would expect. We would recommend more high quality Greek food.
the food was good and fresh, the position on the beach was perfect for a 5stars hotel it's impossible to believe that everytime i have had to ask for the soap when it was finished. the bathroom was really dirty even after cleaning
The layout. with the proximity of all amenities ( pool, beach, restaurants). It is close to the town and the fact that children can have fun in a secure and safe environment.
the spa was surprisingly good. proximity to the beach was outstanding. staff were incredibly friendly. gym facilites were poor, but good as far as island offerings go.
The service is good
nice beach, nice breakfast less service as confirmed in the booking ( no satellite, no cd player, no internet access in the room ), bathroom not clean enough
> location is perfect, beach and view > early in the season (May), not enough personnel and not all the menu food is available. Attitude of personnel (esp beach restaurant) is not realy service oriented. Example; moving the table in the restaurant a view meters so we could sit in the sun, was too much to ask for...not a 5 star hotel service...
location, excellent beach and pool. very laid back and good standard for a greek hotel. Friendly helpful staff and very clean. lovely lunchtime beach taverna. Food generally a good standard (but not fine dining). Good entertainment in the evening Hotel has a lot of rules which seem to be designed to make you spend more - eg if you buy a bottle of wine in the restaurant, you can take it to your room but cannot bring it back in the restaurant the following evening to finish it and you cannot take it out and finish it in the bar. Drinks in the hotel very expensive which is a shame as it means people flock out in the evening making the bar a bit lacking in atmosphere
the beach, the restaurant ath the beach, the pool area anyone can go to the beach ... the beach is not protetcted to be only for the hotel guests.
There is an onsite beautician so if you want a manicure, pedicure or massage just to chill out you can squeeze it in before you go the beach. Staff are courteous. All the common areas of the hotel - pool, bar, lawns etc are excellently maintained. The rooms were spacious but a bit sparsely furnished for a five star hotel. Our room would have benefited from some small repairs/maintenance such as shutter handles & on windy nights the door to the room rattled. Bring your own hairdryer - the ones provided are not up to the job. Also you are paying top notch for any refreshments etc consumed on premises or at beach restaurant due to same said five stars but there are lots of other choices within walking distance so don't let this put you off.
Spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained and traditionally styled Greek hotel. Nice breakfast and staff were lovely. The pool could not be used in the afternoons.
Staff was polite and ready to help. The room was quite small for the price requested.
friendly people -very helpful
Very friendly staff,wc just reconstructed Poor breakfast , no parking
clean room, bathroom, typical, charming local character room a little small
beach and pool area lovely - staff pleasant - room clean and comfortable limited choice for breakfast - poor dinner menu choice - over 100 steep steps from pool area to room - all the hotel consists of is bedroom blocks and pool bar - no other bars or relaxation areas apart from reception area
