Some of the staff, including those on reception were very helpful and made you feel welcome. The location is amazing. The quality of the waiting staff especially in the bottom restaurant is shockingly bad. I was presented with raw chicken, when I asked for a replacement I got a very rude waiter and a deep fried version of the chicken I sent back! He also tried to make me pay for it! The 'director' who was supposed to sort out the problem hid from us for the rest of the stay and left it to the receptionist to deal with the problem (which she did very well). It also says there are lots of facilities (true) but they are not included in the room rate. It's an extra £10 for this and £20 for that (sauna, Jacuzzi, fitness room, internet). This place is trying to make it as a stand along holiday resort for wealthy guests; it fails to do this miserably.
The hotel's location could hardly be any better. The sea is just below the hotel room, and it is very very quiet even in the middle of the tourist season. We enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the hotel staff. Hotel is surrounded by millions of gaps, which could be quite agressive, so be prepared. We visited the hotel beach only once, because we were annoyed and got bitten by gaps. I think they need to do something about it. Breakfast menu is lakluster and without variation. We were not impressed with the hotel restaurant, so my advice would be to eat outside. Hotel's a la carte restaurant serves much better food, but makes differentiation between guests (tasty looking bread is "only for VIP guests", whoever that might be) and you have to wait quite some time before beeing served (lunchtime).
