Pros: Breakfast was very good-wide choice, fresh; can eat outside by the river - view is amazing. Rooms are clean, light, quite big. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Theu have restaurant - we had dinner on spot - very nice.
Cons: I cannot think of anything I did not like.
Pros: Beautiful place, lovely room and very clean. Excellent food and extremely good value for money. They were reasonably quiet so only dealt with one member of staff but he was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was nothing negative about this stay.
Pros: The royalty- like feeling of historic richness. Perfect playroom for children- also outdoor playground! Definatlu family friendly!
Pros: The restaurant, breakfast, the spacious room with kingsize bed and the very nice staff
Cons: The room was very warm
Pros: Fairly new, grand building. Spacious, light and airy. This was the best place we stayed during our two weeks in Latvia. My favourite thing was to sit and have a drink on the terrace overlooking the river at the back of the hotel. The breakfasts were amazing. On the website it says they don’t provide breakfast every day but this is not true - as long as you have booked a room, breakfast will be provided. Quality of food was outstanding.
Pros: The manor is superb with a lovely park surrounding it and a smaal pond.
Cons: The place is very isolated. No other restaurant in a radius of 30. Km. We ate at the hotel restaurant, the food was good, but the next morning I had foot poisening. I guess not all of the food was freshly cooked, as we were the only guests that night and except us only a family with small kids came in for a light dinner in the evening.
Pros: Second time staying in this hotel. What an improvement! - Breakfast was amazing - not that many options but everything was so fresh and there was everything you would want! - Room has air conditioning (this was new compared to our previous stay) - Spotless clean rooms - We hade superior room - absolutely amazing design with big windows! - Will definitely book again in the future - We hade drinks with friends in the evening at the hotel and waiter (young guy) was the most professional waiter I have come across in Latvia! Our friends that travelled with us from other countries were also impressed. What a gem!
Cons: - Everything was great! - Big improvement compared to our stay couple of years ago! - Coffee maker in the room would have been great since breakfast is served from 8:00.
The Piena muiža - Berghof offers a pleasant stay in Rudbarzi for those traveling for business or leisure. Wi-Fi in designated areas is available at this property. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Airport pickup can be arranged by the hotel upon request. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.
Pros: Ina and Jolanta madw our stay perfect.Lovely staff, well maintained property, excellent quality neals. Milk to die for.And hammocks in the garden.L9ved my milk and rose petals bath.Beautiful paintings of Elizabete Melnbarzde and Pauls Postazs add charm to this place. And rose garden.Home away from home
Cons: Wifi was not reliable, was coming and going. But in generally we did not need it in this relaxed enviroment.
Pros: The property is cute former estate of German baron. The estate as such was nice and the surrounding a nice village scenery. I guess it must be a nice place for weddings or bigger events. The breakfast was really nice - even though it's noteworthy that the variety was much better on weekends as more guests were present. Besides, the onsite restaurant has good offerings with Western prices - however not outrageous as other travellers commented earlier . The restaurant offers locally grown deer, lamb and vegetables, among others.
Cons: On weekends, the restaurant / breakfast room can quickly get crowded. The standard room was rather small. The hotel could surely improve by becoming more international, e.g. advertise its offers in English. Presently, most of the offerings are available only in Latvian or Russian. Besides, a standard hotel information brochure in the rooms would surely be appreciated.
