Everything, the staff wass incredibly helpful, the location is great, the service was very good, and having secure parking was terrific. Because the Apollo is on the east side of Darlowoko, you have to go there from the east side of Darlowo becasue the bridge in town is not open to cars, this needs to be more clear to travelers so they don't back tracck to make it the last 100 meters.
The location right next to the ocean is wonderful, even the view on the park is quite nice. Comfort and cleanliness are adequate, as expected. The staff is not overwhelmingly cordial and waiting in the wings, but efficient and friendly. In case that you are not the only guests, as we were one morning, breakfast is rich and delicious, offering a wide range of good food, from fruits to several egg-dishes. The room was actually much smaller than expected from the description on the website. Unfortunately, instead of a double-bed, there were only two single beds that could not really be moved together. Satellite TV means in this case that one of seven channels is not broadcasting in Polish, but in German. The promise of a bathroom was not kept; there was no bathtub. The breakfast room was not heated, although it was snowing outside - too cold to stay longer than 10 minutes. When there were not many guests, breakfast was reduced, which is fine in general, but could have been done after inquiring what we would like to eat in the mornings. In general, the hotel is good. However, high expectations may be disappointed.
Service Freezing Cold, place is not kept warm out of season (Apr-Sep)
Friendly staff and prompt services.
Beautiful location among lakes and forests. A lot of attractions in direct neighborhood. Stylish, cozy interiors. Safe guarded parking lot. Slow service in the restaurant (young, unexperienced waiters who get lost and do not notice new guests entering the restaurant). Relatively narrow choice of dishes. Unacceptably high prices - 14 plz for small tomato soup is an exaggeration!
The location of this hotel, whilst remote, is absolutely wonderful. The lake and surrounding rural land makes the site. Shower and abultions were still east european.
