With a stay at Hotel West Inn in Hippolytushoef, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of IJsselmeer and Landgoed Hoenderdaell. Featured amenities include luggage storage and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel is located in a small village with all required services within easy reach. The location is close to a seadike , on which one can walk or cycle with only the sea and birds as company. It is also a twenty minute drive from the beaches of the North Sea - with enough silky sand to build gigantic sand castles. The hotel itself is cozy and comfortable (gezellig) , The rooms vary in size ( we had the small one) but the general atmosphere in the hotel and the village was one of genuine friendliness .
Cons: Whilst we were there the weather was perfect , but this is not a normal condition - wind and wet weather is more the norm , However this is ideal for solitary hiking.
Pros: Great atmosphere, quiet place, nice garden, free coffee and a good bed. Very recommendable.
Pros: Charming hotel in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and hot beverages always available at no charge. The hotel is right on the town square, with restaurants and supermarkets close by. There is even a bike shop a five minute walk away, which opens from 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock most evenings. Quiet at night, but nicely busy during the day, this made a perfect stop for my bike tour of the old Zuider Zee.
Cons: All good. No negatives.
Pros: Very nice room, very friendly stuff.
Cons: Breakfast is a bit expensive for what you get
Pros: Clean, comfortable and quiet. Very easy to find with free parking across the street.
Pros: The property is very clean, rooms, common areas, etc. They offer free coffee and thee. Nice terrace at the back of the property. The decoration it is very nice, it suits the property and the location extremelly well.
Cons: You must be there before 18 hours for the check-in which sometimes it is not handy. Breakfast starts very late, 8:30h. Yet can be compensated partially with the free coffee. The rooms can be very hot in summer. They have a ventilator, but it is not like air conditioning.
Pros: The room was clean, the sitting room was very pleasant and the breakfast was good value. The bathroom was very clean.
Cons: Even though I stayed in a double room I found it quite small with not a great deal of storage space. There was also quite limited space for storing bikes.
Pros: This is the most wonderful property. The owners have turned a house into hotelrooms but have put so much effort and dedication in it that the result is stunning. Meticulous rooms, modern great style, full of internal decorations that it is almost a museum, so beautiful. We had the apartment which has a full kitchen and washing machine. Highly recommened. The hosts were wonderful at check in and during breakfast. Breakfast was great with lots of options.
Cons: The property is so wonderful, there is no place for criticism.
Pros: Awesome location
Cons: Nothing to mention
Pros: Location, clean rooms. Good facilities
Cons: Weather was unusually hot, the room became extremely hot, with the window open, many mosquitoes or closed hot and stuffy.

Pros: friendly welcome and excellent facilities free coffeeand tea making plus honesty bar for drinks etc. Breakfast was totally comprehensive - usual cold cheese/ham/breakfast/fruit juices/boiled eggs/ muesli etc plus croissants/breads and sweet buns. In addition the hostess will cook you hot food -eggs with ham for example! Not relevant to us but there were superb facilities for children including professional play area and I think BBQ facilities.
Cons: Not obvious it is a hotel when you arrive nor which door to knock on to enter. However worth the effort to persevere.
Pros: The Breakfast was very fresh and delicious. We get also a fresh cooked omelette. It was very relaxing and quiet. The room had an exceptional set up. And Tulipfields aren‘t far away.
Pros: We stayed in the hut for 4 people. It was clean, quiet and spacious. Breakfast and dinner options were excellent and tasty.

Cons: The reception opening hours are very limited compared to what we are used to in New Zealand, almost no wifi
Pros: The little cabin was sweet.
Cons: The shower nob needed fixing
Pros: Nice staff, brought 2 euro back after they discovered they calculated a little bit too much by accident. Great location for jogging near the sea and via old narrow roads with old farmhouses typical for that region.
Cons: The thin wall between two rooms didn't stop the snoring sound of the neighbor.
Cons: The water flow was very very poor at the shawer Smell of cigarettes at the house No restaurant at the property Reception is not available in the morning and evening
Pros: Is a nice place to stay
Cons: Location was really good but you won't be able to get there using a public transport
Pros: The chalet was immaculate, the water pressure in the shower was superb. The restaurant in the park was delicious very good value for money! I enjoyed teh peace and quiet and the very homely feel of the park.
Cons: The chalet with kitchen is joined with another person - you need to be resptful of your neighbours - overall though not bad at all noise level wise.
Pros: The bed was comfortable, the room overall was nice and clean. It was only 3 minutes away from the sea. A nice and remote location, friendly staff.
Cons: It was quite noisy, you could hear everything that the guests above our room were doing, plus the weather outside in the evening was quite stormy and we couldn't fall asleep because of how loud everything seemed. The wifi also wasn't working that well.
Pros: The room was very quiet and clean. The reception area is inviting and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The furniture in the room could have been more comfortable.

Cons: Not clean, but comfortably. Breakfast not really up to expectaions
Pros: Everything was perfect, very cute accomodation
Pros: The room and accommodation was very comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, in good weather it is possible to go out to the garden. We planned to see the fields of tulips, and we did it perfectly. Hotel has a great location for this purpose. The hosts are very nice people. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Pros: Staff wasveryfriendly
Cons: Sanatary facility at the room could be bether
Pros: Garden was wonderful. We were able to sit outside in the sun for drinks and dinner, and could relax with a board game with the kids. The chocolates on the beds went down well with the kids (needless to say, the jar of chocolates in the sitting room was raided as well!). The welcome drinks for the children and the grownups were a lovely touch.
Pros: Really nice breakfast and nice common area to visit with other guests if you desire
Cons: Location-2 km from the nearest one and only restaurant
Pros: I like the hospitality
Pros: We stayed for four nights and it was lovely. The host was kind and welcoming, the house was clean, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was not overly elaborate but it ticked all the boxes: bread, fruit, cereal, juice, etc... The house is in a perfect location for those attempting to relax for a few days but close enough to Amsterdam/Alkmaar for a quick day trip (if you have a car).

Pros: The breakfast was really good and full of variety. Was very calm area eventhough was near to the highaway. The personnel were very nice.

Pros: Nice rooms and bathroom. Very comfortable
Cons: At night a automatic light comes on on the balcony that can not be turned off. It attracts insects. The balcony is full of spiderwebs and insects and has clearly not been cleaned in a while. It was not useable. Quite unfortunate as the view is onto a little forest and it would have been nice to use it.
Cons: The lights on the terrace were on all night, the curtains were not thick enough to block out the light, and i was unable to turn the lights off. When i asked reception they were not willing to turn them off - so was like trying to sleep in the day.
