Hotel staff was very friendly and nothing was too much for them! The room are spacious and very comfortable!
Nice and quiet Missing internet connection.
The hotel was clean the staff pleasant and for the short time we were there I could not find any serious faults
Friendly staff. Breakfast should be non-smoking!!!
its location not far from Terneuzen The convent we stayed in is nice, would expect the rooms to have a warmer, more personal feeling, they are basic no charm. The bathroom is well equipped and new. The breakfast room is very cosy and the breakfast is basic but ok
Excellent food, good service plus convenient traffice
We liked the converted building (an old convent attached to the church) and we liked the surrounding countryside which was great for a cycling holiday. The only downside was the proximity to heavy industry which was a bit smelly and was noisy at night. Stairs in convent building were very steep and would not suit those with a mobility problem.
Room was lovely with plenty of room, staff very friendly. Plenty of room to exercise dogs.
food & beer none
Large room, wide choice for breakfast, balcony with room, excellent shower, cleaniness in corridors. The only minus I would give would be soft mattresses.
Convenience to work assignment. Quiet and relaxful. The first two nights, the room was too cool for my liking. The third night was better though.
the service of the reception staff was excellent and the room was lovely. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries and towel. tea making facilities would be nice
good restaurant very cold room
It was very comfortable, reasonably priced with very good food and it is very conveniently located. No
The extralong bed are perfect, super bar
very nice hotel; excellent breakfast service; availability of bicycles that smoking is allowed in the restaurant
Spacious room, good breakfast.
great seaside views and good staff service
Friendly staff - happy to speak in english. Gave as much information as possiblke regarding local amenities etc N/A
Nice staff. Large and confortable room, enough space for the babycot. Children friendly. Good food at hotel restaurant. Room under roof was rather hot, fortunately air conditioning worked well.
Excellent view from room Good size room Hot breakfast was not available 3 out of 6 mornings
Situation on the front viewing the river
Beautiful hotel, very clean, luxuous and quiet. The staff was pleasant and very helpfull. The location is good but not in front sea like i expected, it is more near a shore than the sea, but you are at dirty minutes from Vlissingen, a beautiful beach. Good value for money. The restaurant is excellent, delicious.
Lots of space in bedroom and in hotel in general which made it easier to cope with a young baby Steps in front and at restaurant - not very convenient for prams or for physically handicapped people
Quite comfortable for a family with a little child (necessary facilities available). Big rooms. Close to everything. Nice view. Helpful staff. Not very much adapted for people on wheelchairs (or for strollers). There are a few steps outside and no driveway. Breakfast, although very good, not impressive for a four star hotel. Expensive parking.
we always enjoy our stay, the staff are excellent, the food is always v.good. we preferred the old style dining room decor. However the staff seem very pleased with the new look.
Central location for the town, good outlook to river.
small hotel, friendly atmosphere there was no hot water in the morning to take a shower.
Small room, no airco, too expensive for the location and the facilities. It took 2 hours to obtain a room key as the key management system failed. Only when we expressed our desire to cancel the reservation and find another hotel, we got a room within 5 minutes. Overall we got very disappointed.
Superb view of passing ships, staff who knew their roles and carried them out to high standards.
Flexibility of staff at hotel to accommodate us after booking went 'missing'.
Friendly Staff, Quiet Room Shower doors do not stay in place, causing the floor to become slippery. Shower doors cannot be closed, causing chilly conditions.
Helpful staff, great views, good food
warm room, good breakfast TV did not work, the bathroom had broken shower screen and sink panel missing
I was there for just one night, however the room, the bathroom, the beds were very clean and comfortable nothing
Friendly staff, convienient location, parking facilities No smoking anywhere
No fuss; help yourself. What you need is there. A bit of road noise reflected in the price
This is a no-nonsense travellers' hotel next to the main station, providing excellent basic facilities for people who won't be staying too long. The breakfast is generous and good; rooms are large, comfortable and well furnished. Staffing is minimal (there's no access without a key after 10 p.m.) but adequate and friendly. Car parking is limited but the large public car park immediately outside is free overnight and on Sundays. A good place to stay if you want to be on your own, but not a hive of activity or a place to meet people; very much a place to travel through. A great base for exploring Goes and the neighbourhood, however.
The beds are comfortable and breakfast was good the hotel appeared very tired and in need of refurishment
The hotel was in a good location and had great parking facilities. The breakfast was very good.
friendliness of the staff too close to the station, noise level is high
clean comfortable and friendly
I had a good stay in Terneuzen, The hotel was clean and the food and atmosphere in the bar and restaraunt was very pleasant. The rooms are a little bit basic and could benefit from a little bit of a spruce up.
Good value and a surprisingly good (though expensive) restaurant. Secure parking for motorcycles provided at no change. Broadband very expensive when most hotels off a free service. Breakfast also too expensive but a McDonalds nearby solved that problem.
Friendly staff It was a long way from the town centre, even though it is called the 'city hotel'
The hotel was overbooked - but a room was instead reserved at another hotel (Golden Tulip on the waterfront), which was fine with us. The hotel (Hampshire Inn City Terneuzen) was about 3 kms away from the Terneuzen waterfront/central area.
All staff were very friendly and helpful which made the stay in the hotel pleasurable. I cannot fault the hotel in any way. It was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. No.
Value for money In general it is old-fashioned, though clean
fair price its location is not the best - especially with a room alongside a main road
Easy parking hotel and room design, expensive Wi-Fi, area
convenient location for walking the dog in the morning someone had been smoking in a non-smoking room - hence the remark about cleanliness
Relaxing and calming location. Staff very helpful and attentive. Special and variated breakfast.Definitely the place to go to relax and reload the batteries.
Beautiful accommodation in a wonderful setting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. We would definitely recommend this guesthouse if you are visiting this area. It was our first stop on a tour of the Netherlands (an easy 2 hour drive from the ferry at Calais).
location - included breakfast Internet access problems/staff availability/coldness of the room/no extra blankets/noisy location/stained and worn carpet/ food freshness issues
roomspace lack of elevator
The staff is very friendly and I like the grand cafe concept
The staff did not know how to access the internet, and were not willing to troubleshoot; the breakfast quantities were not consistent; the room was very cold despite turning the heat to an extreme and there wer no extra covers; the location is very noisy on Saturday nights; the cancellation notice is unusually far in advance.
In the middle of town
It was a great place to watch the World Cup Final on Sunday evening on the Square and also in the bar in the hotel - although very busy (and prices were pushed up in the evening compared to the afternoon) it was worth coming over from England as a Dutch National! No.
Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Good location. Telephone service, could not get an outside line.
Location, Friendly staff, good food and price Unclean bathroom and bedding, floor rug was dirty and not cleaned well, lack of easy access for ice, sodas etc. though the staff would get them.
the surroundings the staff and attention to detail our room was above the kitchens at the back and heard loud noise in the evening and night when crates etc were cleared
Jersey is quite a nice cafe-restaurant. They have smoking rooms. Paid E60, which is good (relative) value. The next booking they wanted E100 though, so price varies. At that price it's not good enough.
Easy access to town centre
Very friendly staff make you feel at home. Visitors should expect a family hotel. Ideal for people needing a stopover for a walking or biking holiday. Restaurant next doors is recommended.
Close to the city center, free parking area, very nice staff no
friendly hosts, family atmosphere
Homely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Large rooms, excellent location.
attentive staff and friendlyness stairs. one person in party was fairly disabled, so this was a problem which necesssitated us leaving a day early. it should be pointed out that there is no lift.
Location and staff
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Small bathroom and basic tv.
A very friendly and amicable welcome, a comfortable and quietly situated stay made our 'flying' visit most enjoyable.
Small (20rooms) very clean & friendly the lady owner was very friendly & spoke excellent english, has own car park.
Hotel staff was very pleasent, made you feel at home. The bed was too soft for my back
Clean rooms and very friendly staff (the owner). she was running the hotel by herself with a little help for the cleaning. She does a good job!!
friendly staff excellent breakfast
Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy and quick check-in / out. Nice location in a mainly residential area. Bathrooms a bit small and cramped.
sehr gut beds were not too good
Staff was very friendly and professional, rooms were clean and nicely furnished, breakfast buffet was small but tasty. All in all a great experience!
confortable bed, nice staff, calm breakfest
Lovely setting, in the town of SAS van Gent. The hotel/ motel is made up of individual buildings dotted around a street. It had a bar and a restaurant with an outdoor seating area. We stayed in an apartment on the top floor of the old post office. It was extremely spacious with 2 bedrooms an kitchinette and jacuzzi hot tub. The light sensor in the bathroom kept turning the light off, unless you stood by the bathroom mirror, which was a pain when you were in the bath. The jacuzzi bath on off button wouldnt work properly.
Excellent fish Restaurant
Clean rooms, friendly staff None
The quiet surrounds, easy walking distance to shops, bars and eating places. Loved the hotel decor quite like boutique hotels back home. It was also no problem for the staff to open the kitchen early on our day of departure for breakfast.
Friendly staff, clean room. Breakfast is ok, but chaotic. We were called several times because the hotel was overbooked. They wanted us to change to a lower grade hotel.
Very limited and expensive restaurant with no lighter meal options, image of the hotel looked good but the apartments are in need of referbishment.
Nothing special Very poorly decorated room. Needs urgent upgrade. No windows with sight
Excellent restaurant. Fairly basic rooms but clean. Beds too soft
+ very good restaurant + nice setting with rooms spread out in the city
Cosy hotel, pleasant atmosphere and clean comfortable rooms Nothing
Accoustic signature of rooms not particularly good. Easy to disturb be disturbed by neighbour Needs tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms
The hotel is basic and clean, I liked the food in the restaurant and personal touch of the owner. the hotel is as advertised a basic, clean and value for money hotel. No frills.
Hotel is very conveniently located. Good location. Friendly and efficient staff and comfortable. strongly recommended.
Clean, quiet, good breakfast, wifi access were all wonderful for my business trip
Kindness of the staff, good breakfast, tranquility of the place, the shower. Not many young people in the area.
perfect location, nice breakfast, rooms ok this hotel looks like it's always closed, no staff, ancient PC without internet access, etc
Location and friendly helpful staff None
Sea views from our hotel window - including large ships passing to/from Antwerp etc. in the wide estuary. The hotel also overlooks a harbour where a passenger ferry crosses to/from Vlissingen. Although it must be said that a room with a sea-view at this hotel does cost at least 30 euros more than their "standard room". The hotel has a quiet location next to the beach and harbour.
Very large and comfortable rooms, great seaview, friendly staff, good location (close to Brugge, Vlissingen and the Cadzand beaches).
My friend and I loved the friendliness of the staff, even the breakfast was served with love! The room was extremely well designed and classy. The location is ideal, right on the beach and close to a harbour. I would have liked some club or something indoors where we could pass our time, if it rained. There is a small town centre closeby but it would be nice to have some fun and games inside the hotel, if possible.
It is very dated, and not in a nice way. It could be a wonderful retro hotel, but instead we found it depressing. It was also already too late for dinner at 20.30
The architecture is fantastic, I,m very happy is is maintained as it is. Nothing, everything was perfectly allright. Very kind owner. Mevr. Demilliano
the room was well furnished and well maintained.the location was excellent.the staff were friendly and helpfull.
Spacious room - marvellous view - very quiet - clean - friendly welcome No not really .... exactly what we hoped for ....
Nothing!!!! On the website it states that the hotel had a bar which it does not!, Also everything is closed at 10pm. I was with the Director of our company and he was apalled with the hotel and its facilities. We had to have a meeting in his room. I will not be booking this hotel again and with a room rate of 130euro a night this is very poor.
The seaside view. It was a quiet place to relax The breakfast was not so good.
Location - view to the sea - restaurant was closed from 9pm - charge for extra bed in junior suite was ridiculously overpriced - 70eur (and this was not indicated while booking)
