Pros: The owners just know how to let you feel at home. I was invited to their family dinner. The breakfast is outstanding.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazing. The owners have thought of every single detail and are incredibly welcoming and thoughtful.....they even patiently answered about 3 million questions we asked them about the property, etc :-). The house and grounds are beautiful and comfortable, and the location is in a small, quiet town. The pool facility is amazing, and our kids loved the ping pong table and the goats! It feels like a small resort. Breakfast is delicious! I am going to tell everyone I know that they need to go here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome, very clean facilities, nice calming garden. We appreciated the little details, like a candle on the table for breakfast:).Thank you!
Cons: Everything was ok, but as a suggestion maybe, if possible to have extra smaller pillows to sleep on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Wellness was 1st class: jacuzzi, heated pool, sauna, walk-in shower. Ping-pong table also 1st class. Nice extra.
Cons: The day light coming into the room. We are used to sleep with 'rolluiken', in the dark. Next time we will make sure to have pancakes also on Sunday, by getting up earlier!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, the common areas are lovely, the pool area amazing. My bedroom had a lovely verandah and my bed was comfy. The hosts were very helpful.
Cons: It was a little difficult to find this lovely place. I can't help but think that even one small sign on the road would be helpful! Often you arrive at your accomodation at the end of a long day of sightseeing or travelling, and you really want the process of finding your new accomodation to be quick and easy. But having found it, everything else was wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our second one-night stop-over (we diverted to visit this second time) - this is a superb guest house: excellent accommodation, lovely hosts, wonderful facilities (swimming pool, etc. & garden), freshly prepared breakfast.
Cons: Libin is a quiet, peaceful town and, as such, does not have much re: entertainment. This is not a problem for us but lack of restaurants in the area (after a long drive) is a little disappointing. No problems re: property and accommodation - wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: room / swimming pool
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Starting with the early check in times (after 15h) that allows you to fully enjoy the facilities of the property immediately from day 1. The owner, that welcomed us is extremely friendly and left us really comfortable from the beginning welcoming us with drinks. The room was spotless clean and the mattress was perfect. The facilities of the property are perfect, swimming pool that can create waves, Jacuzzi large enough for 5/6 persons, sauna (that we didn't use but it was available), a table tennis and a large space full of grass to enjoy the sun and rest. It is a small place (5 bedrooms and 1 studio) but cozy enough that allowed us to make new friends, watch the final of the champions league and even get a personalized receipt of our stay :) We will try to come back for sure, maybe bring some friends, but I will make sure I can keep it secretly enough to always have a spare room ;)
Cons: Nothing would make me dislike this property. I only didn't like that I stayed only for one night. I have to make sure I don't do the same mistake again :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super comfortable bed and lovely room. Everything was so clean. Our host stefan was so friendly and did everything to make you feel at home and nothing was too much. Breakfast was ' a la carte', I really recommend the omelet, it was delicious. You can have a swim a the lovely swimming pool or the Jacuzzi and sauna. Perfect for you and your partner.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very friendly hosts, very clean and delicious breakfast
Cons: No idea
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at this artist's house. So many interesting pieces of metal & woodwork incorporated into the place. Our room in the attic was like a Canadian tracker's log cabin. The room was small, but very cosy & had everything we needed including a good shower & a comfortable bed. Our hosts went out in the evening & told us to enjoy their house - we explored their large garden & enjoyed the company of their dog & cat out on the terrace through the evening. There were drinks to purchase in the fridge at good prices. We walked in to the local town for an evening meal there were a few restaurants available. Breakfast was excellent - Nicolas, the artist also makes the preserves...a choice of 5; there was also a selection of meats & cheeses, breads, yoghurts etc etc All in all a very good stay.
Cons: The room was very hot, but helped by an air-conditioning unit, although it was too noisy to keep it on all night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in Ardennes. Very nice design room! Excellent breakfast made from home/local products. Thank you very much very friendly owner for pleasant accommodation. We enjoyed our short stay here and hope we return here in future.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is set on the edge of a village with lovely country views. The owners/staff were very helpful. The room was fantastic with all wood panelling and old hunting memoralibilia all around. The place is very clean, heating is by convector heaters which work very well. Breakfast was superb with everything you'd expect from a breakfast in Northern Europe.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like however the stairs to the room could be challenging to some people.

Pros: Great location, one of the few hotels in the area that is close to a train station. Great access to hiking paths - it only takes a minute or two on the road to get to a trail. The breakfast is wonderful. The room has everything you need, and nothing you don't need. Great shower and bathtub. There is a nice garden area outside of the hotel to sit and relax.
Cons: No complaints at all about the hotel. The only thing I'd tell people to be aware of is that there is almost no food within walking distance, you will need to drive to eat dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing! Very well organised. Beautiful place and great location.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Located near a main road, luckily we were sleeping at the backside of the house
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place. Recommendable
Cons: It's not a bad comment. Just to know that it is not prepared for babies (we did not know before going - maybe is mentioned in the description and we did not read it). The owner was very kind and just told us that they prefer clients without babies.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really charming place, and excellent, I mean, really, really good breakfast. The owner (?) is very attentive and helpful.

Pros: Wonderful house with lovely furnitures in an amazing location. Very good to relax
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a magical bed and breakfast! The Moulin could not be more charming: a beautiful 17th century home, set on a idyllic river in Resteigne. Our hosts were incredibly gracious and warm to welcome us into their family home and help us design a number of fun day trips. The caves at Han sur Lesse were wonderful to explore, and the region is dotted with beautful castles and lovely walks. Breakfast was delicious (homemade breads, jams, cheese, eggs, etc). A perfect holiday.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Warm, hospitable owners. Charming old cottage, peaceful location. Extremely clean, close to a very nice local restaurant
Cons: Only point of improvement would be to refurbish the shower in the bathroom.....a shower curtain or splash wall would stop the need to sit in the bath when showering.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very large comfy bed, home made delicious breakfast. Delightful setting in quiet countryside. Convenient for caves and wildlife park at Han Sur Lesse. Interesting historic property.

The guest room was very clean and cosy, the memory foam mattress was amazing to sleep on! We had so much fun biking around the region to the different villages and we would definitely come back.

Pros: A nice, private room and bathroom next to the main house. Small but comfortable, modern, well-equiped. Overall a nice experience.
Cons: Contact regarding check-in was not replied on the day of the check-in, not by mail nor by telephone. Hikers/backpackers, beware: there are no shops in Redu and the bakery is only open three days a week (weekend). However, the hosts provided me with lunch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, comfortable cabin with a la carte breakfast in great surroundings.
Cons: Everything was great
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was brought to the room. It is possible to choose what you want to eat, when you arrive. Welcome drink. Nice place.
Cons: The room is a little too small for long time stay (3persons). No much place for luggage. But this is really no big problem.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really nice and cosy place! The family living there is really nice and kind. Really good facilities, parking in front of the room, small garden with table and chairs to enjoy the sunny days. Unfortunately, it was raining, but worthy to pay a visit with good weather. Breakfast was really good.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We only stayed one night but if we were to return to the area we would stay there again. Martine greeted us warmly when we arrived. We were tired so we didn´t go into the village, but just sat on the terrace and enjoyed the lovely evening and the beer in the fridge. Wifi was very good. Bedroom and bathroom were huge and comfortable. Breakfast was superb: good coffee, fresh buns, local cheese and cold cuts, fresh fruit salad, eggs made to order.
10.0 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location with lovely views over paddocks and farmland. Trampoline and swings in garden, space for the children to play in the autumn leaves outside. Great guest lounge with decent coffee available; self service fridge of beer (at cost), fantastic freshly prepared breakfast.
Cons: The only limitation was the family room being two separate bedrooms off a shared corridor with the third bedroom. That doesn't quite work with very young children. (Not a problem for us as the third bedroom being used by our family too).
6.8 Good
Pros: Owners were lovely, location was good.
Cons: We felt the room was it a bit sparse, not very warming in comfort, but other people may not agree with us, so for the price we paid, it was not good value

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice old house, good breakfast.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice little town environment, hotel is in a very well maintained old building, breakfast has a lot of choice and the hotel is close to highways.
Cons: The night I was there was relatively cold, so the summer bed shits were not enough. I should have asked for another sheet, but instead I just put on my pullover and a pair of socks :)
7.0 Good
Pros: It's a nice hotel in a sweet village. The breakfast is very nice. It was clean and quiet.
Cons: The room did not fit to the Fotos. The rooms are smaller than on the fotos and the bathroom is not as chic as shown. For the price of 30€ more for a superior room we expected a very chic room but it was simple.

Pros: Nice little hotel in a nice and calm village. The room is comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The bed is comfortable.
Cons: Walls are paper-thin, so you get to hear everything (neighbours with kid or dog), including the continuous buzzing of a fridge close-by. There is a parking for hotel guests, but mostly fully occupied by the clients of the restaurant. Pictures advertised were somewhat deceiving (furniture was older and bed and bedroom were actually smaller).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Confortable beds, clean an spacious room ,
Cons: not so many choices for breakfast , they could improve a little bit mor for that.

Cons: The rooms were a little on the small side, (though the bed was comfortable), and the bathroom was cramped. Taking these points into account, the hotel was a little overpriced, but it all depends upon your personal priorities!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in the Ardennes. Very close to the book town Redu. Warmly welcomed by all employees. Staff made every effort to make our stay perfect. Rooms large. Comfy beds. Large bathroooms. It's at the junction of a roundabout but had absolutely no traffic noise. Nice bar area but fireplace doesn't draw properly and fills bar room with smoke. Had a lovely dinner with delicious house wine. Small private sauna area available but must be booked. Didn't have breakfast as felt 12 euros a person a bit dear. Otherwise a great value for money and would highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing really. The smoke was annoying but we had requested they build a fire for us.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Staff weren’t clear about payment. I tried to pay at check in but was told it was paid through booking.com. Then days later I had an email from them saying I hadn’t paid and had to international transfer funds which cost an extra $15. Not good
7.5 Good
Pros: Great breakfast, comfy bed and very large bedroom
Cons: Can't really reach it by public transport.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, nice and cozy rooms.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, nicely renovated hotel with spacious rooms. Stayed here as well more than 10 years ago... due to renovation: no comparison, much better now ! Great breakfast. Good communication.
Cons: Cleanliness of the carpet in the room could have been better. On the other hand, bathroom was very clean.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: nice rooms recently renovated, quite location
Cons: the carpet in my room could have been cleaner
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Close to the book village, Redu. VERY clean, lovely bed
Cons: Paper thin walls, guests banging doors and the annoying swinging doors between the bed and bathroom
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Charming hotel renovated with taste, quality material and top convenience. Two attention points : the hotel is right next to a national road which can hurt the experience during the day but very calm at night. Other item is that either the TV set is too small for the size of the room or the room too big for the screen... Unfortunately I could not taste the cuisine as it closes at 9.30pm and I got in at 9.45....Too bad.
Cons: See below. I would probably have liked to be able to eat something before going to bed but that was not an option offered when I asked for possibilities...
10.0 Excellent

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast (including own made products). The surroundings are very beautiful. Friendly owner and dogs.
Cons: The sound of the highway, although quite far away, could be heard from the room, it would be good if the authorities would place sound barriers.
7.0 Good

Pros: Breakfast great, very complete, excellent bread and croissants
Cons: Only issue is the big difference between room for the same price: Room 1, excellent for the price; room 3, not so good, small and not cousy at all; bed only on the limit of acceptable; old blanquets..
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Even though we were the only guests, the breakfast choice was excellent. The owner stored our bicycles in the garage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: authentic hotel, warm welcome, impeccable room - very good address and warmly recommended!
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is in s perfect position for those willing to visit the village and hike into the forest. Very nice breakfast with fresh eggs and good local products.
Cons: The room we had, different from the others, was old and needed to be renovated, especially the bed, not confortable at all. It seems that the room booked through booking.com are sometimes the worse. And the price was just 5 euros less than the others!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness and helpfulness of Madame and daughter in law
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Les Genets turns out to be a very special, romantically secluded and stylish villa of the early 20th century. It is a run by a charming lady, who looks very well after her guests. The interior of the house is beautifully classic and well-maintained.
Cons: I can't think of anything...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We felt like we were guests in the old medieval castle. The rooms wre comfortable with the old interieur and nice view over the mountains. Friendly host and good breakfast.
Cons: There is no restaurant in the vicity and you need a car to go to the next village.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts didn't expect us, but were very welcoming anyway. We had a lovely room for the whole family + our dog. The breakfast was yummy and served in a cosy diningroom with a warming fire. We could take a walk in the woods straight from the house. We hope to come again!
7.5 Good
Pros: The host was a wonderful lady who made us and our canaine friends very welcome. Nice log fires and a pleasant conversation over an Orval beer served in matching glass set us off to the best of starts!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We arrived at Les Genêts in the late afternoon, and we were welcomed by the owner with a local Trappist beer (an Orval) to rehydrate ourselves. After a long chatting (in French) the owner showed us our stay: the room was very cozy, with a queen-sized bed (extremely comfortable and warm) with two pillows each. We were provided with two additional pillows The morning breakfast was exceptional, with tea, a well-prepared coffee (:D), confitures and Belgian Cheese The next time we'll come in Belgium, this definitely will be a location to stop by
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This B&B is very beautiful and has a great atmoshphere for everyone who cheriches old buildings and furtniture that tell stories. The room itself as well as the dining room were very clean. Plus, we were welcomed very warm and were served a nice breakfast with a plate of different cheese, bread, coffee and juice! It's a perfect place for everyone who wants to feel like in the middle of nature and almost like in a different world.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is a very nice and quirky old house with beautiful furniture. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful with lots of different cheeses and breads. The host was very nice and friendly. The surrounding area is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The B&B is in a beautiful old house, in gorgeous surroundings, with many walking trails and tourist attractions nearby. We had a room overlooking the valley, which in late autumn was really magical. The owners are very charming and attentive, and as noted by other reviewers, breakfast was ample and very good (various cheeses, eggs, fresh bread). NB: car is definitely needed, especially out of season, despite the proximity of the station, as the nearby provisions can be patchy (e.g. local restaurant not open in mid-week).

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The garden
Cons: No restaurant
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room and en-suite were large with balcony. We had a room to the rear which is quieter than the rooms overlooking the road to the front.Decor in rest of hotel quirky but interesting.Great small lift to all floors if mobility is an issue. Breakfast was good and plentiful and owner was very nice. Would visit again.
Cons: it's on a blind corner which is a bit dangerous when leaving. Does not do any evening meals so had to go out for them. It's a very rural area so had to travel several miles to find somewhere nice to eat out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliest, warmest welcomes awaits from the owner Thierry. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Even down too our extra early departure on a Sunday morning. If you are thinking of staying here, you won't be disappointed as it gets 11/10 from us
6.8 Good
Pros: The terrace and garden are very nicely maintained and pleasant to have a drink or breakfast there, if the weather allows.
Cons: The breakfast is OK, though there could be more natural ingredients and homemade things, as one can expect in rural tourism. As the hotel doesn't have any supermarkets, restaurants or bars in its proximity, it would be very useful to have some basic snacks in the bar to make people's stay there more comfortable. Reception should facilitate more useful and up-to-date information about activities near by (tracking, cultural events in the surrounding villages etc.).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast in a very unique environment, especially the stuffed animals ;=)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent, on the terrace
6.8 Good
Pros: Pleasant location, quirky feel to the hotel with various 'mascots' around the hotel.
Cons: No evening meals available, only B & B which could have been clearer in the write up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm reception. The overall feel of the hotel is very cosy, if you like overly decorated interior with a super warm touch, old dogs and rugs (I do). Third bed was a proper and comfortable bed (rare), breakfast was excellent too.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The interior of the breakfast room and of the bar was exquisite and unequaled ! Breakfast was the first highlight of the day.
Cons: The parking was OK, but situated rather dangerously with the traffic coming at high speed from behind the bend.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Nice looking old style charm. Large dining areas and cosy bar. Gastonomic dinner was excellent.
Cons: Hotel felt cold in areas. No shower curtain in slippery bath. Had to open toilet resevoir to fix it.Mimimal lighting in room. Minimal Staff (2). Was way too expensive @ 127 Euros even with a balcony with wooden floor that was green with algae, so also slippery. Matress also needed re-newing. There are much better hotels for around 80 Euros, especially the PIP Magraff in St. Vith. ( Best this Year.! )
