the hotel was a good price and public parking was easy just our side. Only a 10 min walk into town there were no hotel staff at the hotel and the barman at the pub underneath gave us the key. Breakfast was served and the bill paid at the hotel Jicin over 1Km away.
(1) Excellent location in the center of the old city (2) The room was very spacious, newly furnished and very clean (3) The staff was friendly and willing to help (4) Rich and tasty breakfast . (5) Breakfast is served in the hotel's restaurant which also has very good hot meals and deserts (6) The hotel has free parking (7) Very good value for the price (8) Wonderful natural area for hiking nearby (1) There is no elevator to the rooms in second floor (2) The old city is not very adapted for tourists. There are no souvenir shops. All the shops close at 17:00 , and the streets are empty.
Perfect free Internet Wifi connection. Central position
The hotel staff was excellent and friendly. The restaurant was great.I loved the town. The town is lovely with a Sat. morning market on the square. I had fun shopping here. You felt you met the real Czech Rep. people versus the touristy beautiful Prague
The Superior rooms on the 3 floor are very good and hotel location is suitable for sightseeing Czech paradise. poor breakfast
excellent position, private parking (free- which is rarity in CZ!), smoking rooms, free internet
Secured parking, cleanness Quite disinterested staff
Don't be put off by the reception area - the rooms are in really good order and had everything I needed. At the price I paid there is little to complain about - this is a simple tourist hotel in a busy tourist area and considering it was high season I was lucky to get such a well situated hotel - Located slap bang in the middle of the town - and with free parking 'round the back'. The lift is now working again. Staff were friendly and helpful - even considering that with the night porter we had to resort to "mime" for communication - as my Czech is limited! In the summer the upper floor rooms will be very hot indeed and the lift stops at the floor below - not so good if you have limited mobility. The breakfasts were nothing special - but then I have found that, in Eastern Europe they seldom are - at least there was a choice and the service was quick. If you are a light sleeper who also likes the window open then note that the hotel is right next to the town clock tower (bing-bong-bing- bong) and there will often be some late night noise from folks going home after the bars and restaurants close.
the helpfull of the reception people
