Pros: Superb breakfast. Good facilities.
Pros: Breakfast was good. Typical european breakfast, but it was well prepared and there was a lot more than I could eat (and that is saying something). Staff very helpfull and plesant.
Cons: WiFi did not work well. Pages took so long to load they timed out.
Pros: My boyfriend and I loves the room, really cozy! The breakfast was superb! The service was really excellent!
Pros: Very clean room, comfortable bed. Great breakfast included. Restaurant serves delicious food.
Cons: There is a bit of traffic noise, but nothing too disturbing with closed windows.
Pros: This place is a perfect little gem. the bed is better than our own, the breakfast was served at the table and we were full and happy, the staff was very friendly and we ate at the restaurent at night and gotta say the cook knows his way around the kitchen, parking right outside the door and very close to Flensburg.
Pros: Great breakfast, clean room, good service, ... Everything you need to enjoy your stay!
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere !!
Pros: Very trendy rooms and excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
Cons: No water cooker for tea or coffee in the rooms

Guests can also enjoy day trips to Denmark, 30 km away. Free private parking is available at the hotel. Sörup Train Station is 10 km away and the A7 motorway is 33 km away.
Pros: After almost 2 weeks "gastronomic suffering" in Norway we stayed in Steinberger-Hof for overnight on our way back to Prague. We were once again impressed by excellent German kitchen and hospitality.
Cons: Although the location is more than 20 kilometers away from highway it is worth to be chosen while travelling to/from Scandinavia.
Located in Langballig, Hotel Ostsee-Anker is by the sea, within a 15-minute drive of Flensburg Fjord and Gluecksburg Castle. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: 1.The most important thing was a lack of interntet in the room and very week one in the public area. I have been told that the week before (!!), there were thunderstorm and internet access in the room is not working. I have been told that there access in the restaurant. However, internet there was a very week, it was impossible to work there and few times I have been asked by the staff to change a table, becouse they have guests (!!). The only one reason, while I sat in the resturant was the fact that there were no internet in the room. It was impossible to use internet after restaurant was closed, which for me was crucial as I have work duty in different time zone. 2. I asked to add a soap in the room. I have made request in German (knowledge of English by the staff hotel was limited), which is not my primary language and I forgot to add that I need it in the shower. Soap was delivered, but the liquid gel for bath (which I really ment) not. For me, this shall be rechecked prior to the letting us room and after our request. 3. TV did not worked for one day. It was repaired on a second day. We stayed 2 days. I would expect, at least discount for lack of internet, especially as I would be charged for using my phone for excess transfer of data, which I assume would be around EUR 50. One of the most important thing for me when booking hotel was internet access due to my work commitments.
Pros: Very nice room and scenery from the room (balcony). Restaurant was good too. Kind staff.
Pros: Delightful little B&B alongside the famous Strand Restaurant, right on the beach. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and we loved all the little maritime artefacts around the property. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. The rooms are a little small, but as we didn't spend much time in ours, it was no problem and the food was very good. It's a lovely stopover on the way to and from Scandinavia
Cons: Our return visit wasn't too good, as we had a courtyard room, which meant that kitchen staff had to pass by our window. Very noisy phone calls and cars starting up disturbed us at 10.30 pm, but I mentioned this to the lovely proprietor and she was going to address the issue.
Pros: The room is prettier than the pictures. Plenty for kids to do on the beach. The room was spotlessly clean, and I'm very particular about cleanliness. I would book there again in a heartbeat. Very friendly staff.
Located in Soerup, Hotel Söruper Hof is in a rural location, a 4-minute drive from Flensburg Fjord and 5 minutes from Schlei. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel is very cozy, I felt as if at home. It is a real escape from all the sorrows and problems of everyday life. Perfect design up to the smallest details, friendly people, a very good breakfast, comfortable bed, good location just a few minutes from the rail station. I liked everything.
Cons: The lamp at my bed did not work because I had not managed to insert the plug to the socket - the bed base was too close to it, impossible to use the socket. But it has not disturbed my stay nor changed my liking of the place.
Pros: Very nice, cosy place. Interesting mix of a hotel and a gallery. The dinning room with a colourful fresk on the silling absolutely stunning. Frankly speaking we didn't expect to find such a nice place in this area.
Pros: Beautiful artistic small hotel located in the town. Very nice breakfast.
Cons: My room for one person was situated directly to a yard which was covered with glass-roof, when guests were smoking outside in the yard under the roof I had smoke in my room and had no possibility to avoid this, because the door and the window were opened into the yard with smoking guests, and it was summertime and the temperature in my room was high, and I had no other window to open.
Pros: Staff very friendly, spoke English, waited for us though we were on a late side. Bed narrow for two persons. Couldnt get a good sleep. Breakfast luxurious and overal good atmosphere.
Cons: Bed too narrow
Cons: Bed too small for two No aircond No food to eat Not allowed to sit and eat in the meeting places when you brought food from The supermarket
Pros: Cosy, homely room, pleasant staff, excellent breakfast
Cons: Very difficult to find negatives, indeed. As an old man, diabetic on insulin, I would appreciate the fridge.
Pros: super nice beds, and good wholesome breakfast.
Pros: This was not your standard hotel, it had a certain flair. The room themes and decor were very unique and interesting. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Unexpectantly, we had to find a place quickly during our journey and were very pleasantly surprised and happy to stay at this hotel.
Cons: No complaints
Pros: This is marketed as a 'Kunsthotel" which is an "art hotel." Aptly named as an artist has lovingly painted ceilings, walls, etc. and it is strikingly beautiful, especially in the dining area which has the appearance of a library. We stayed in the Hemingway Room on the top floor which was a large, nicely done space. No air-conditioning as seldom needed in these parts but on the occasional really warm summer day, the room had a ceiling fan over the bed. The full, buffet-style breakfast was most excellent, staff efficient and kindly and parking was right outside the front door. Highly recommend. Tip: Hotel recommended the close by Etna Italian Restaurant. Was also a hit with us.
Cons: I will mention two items that did not detract at all as far as we were concerned but might affect others. We were on the top floor which required 4 flights of steps (no elevator). So if someone in your party has mobility issues, maybe call ahead to book a lower floor. Secondly the mattresses were firm which I prefer as it provides better back support. But if you like soft, plushy types of beds then this might be a problem for you.
This idyllic, small hotel is located in picturesque surroundings close to Geltinger Bay by the Baltic Sea, and offers direct access to the beach. The Baltic Sea cycle and hiking path ("Ostseeradwanderweg") runs right past the hotel and invites you to explore beautiful scenery in active fashion. *** Take a look at our special offers for stays of 2 - 7 nights and plan your relaxing getaway! ***
Pros: Wonderfull area with super view in a natural environment
Cons: Hotel and room was a bit like for 20 years ago - TV size too small given the distance to the headrest of the bed
When you stay at Allmanns-Kroog in Sterup, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Flensburg Fjord and Schlei.
Pros: The breakfast was amazing
Pros: Good value for money, not very modern.
Cons: Breakfast could be better
Pros: Old world real German feel to this hotel situated in the centre of a rural community’s
Pros: Very friendly staff, quirky hotel, amazing showers
Cons: Needed a kettle/teamaking facilities in the room
