I liked everything. Like, location, views, staff's attention to detail, helpfulness.
There's nothing I can think of to list under "didn't like". I liked everything about my stay there.
The hotel was beautiful and rooms nice. Marble bathroom floors great shower pressure warm water.
Smoky rooms because of other patrons smoking and it came thru air vents. Disappointing. The keys would not work after 4 repeated attempts.
Great location! The employees at the front desk were very professional and helpfull.
It's my 10th visit to this hotel, and everytime i am positively surprised by the friendlyness of the people.
The room was spacious. The pub was very English, luckilly food was better
Could not find my reservation.
The location of the hotel is excellent situated in Narodno Sabranie Square across from the parliament and the magnificient St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral. The staff were business like and not overfriendly, unlike the hugely friendly and helpful staff of the nearby Shearaton where our taxi driver brought us first by mistake. The staff also arranged, in advance, our taxi to the airport at 4.30am and they were very efficient in their communications by email in this matter. The price of the taxi was a bit high but saved the hassle and uncertainty of arranging it ourselves at 4.00am- We were upgraded, at no extra cost to a business suite and it was magnificient. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we intend to stay there again.
We were disappointed with the restaurant. We were not informed that there was a second restaurant, The Glass Bar which is listed to remain open until 11.00pm. We had to contend with Flannagans Bar and this was disappointing. The menu we got certainly did not match that on the website and we finished up having fish and chips and Chicken respectively. Not in keeping with the rest of the hotel. This was our only disappointment, but it was a significant disappointment as our stay was very short.
Everything was excellent. The location is superb, the staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious.
The taxi matter in Sofia is bad, as they are cheating a lot the tourists. Before getting in, you should check if the taxometer is working. I was terrified, that when we asked the concierge to call a taxi, we thought we would get a taxi for a good price, but apparently he cheated on us too and to say that we left the concierge tips !!!!
Very helpful staff from porter, reception and resteraunt staff
It has a nice central position; the staff were very good and helpful.
For a 5 star hotel the rooms could be improved.
The rooms and service was good but it is very over priced.
The Raddisson is in a fantastic location of sight seeing. Everywhere seemed to be within walking distance. Even the bus stop for the Big red bus city tour was just down the road. Our room was a good size and we had an extra bed put in which was great. The staff were very helpfull.
kind and helpful staff
