I stayed with my wife and had a great time. The Spa was amazing, we had a couple massage which was very relaxing. Great place. The staff is very helpful and professional. The food at the chinese restaurant was one of its kind.
We stayed for a night to get away from the city traffic. There was no heat in the room. The staff were cooperative enough to bring us a heat blower but that didnt solve the problem. We nearly froze to death in a cold cold room. The food at the living room restaurant was dellicious. Ths staff were friendly but it seemed they didnt know how to manage when the systems doesnt work. Overall a nice place, but only for a visit in the summer.
I have traveled to Gurgaon many times and decided to take a break on my weekend during my latest trip. As my driver was taking me from central Gurgaon to the hotel, I have to admit I was a bit concerned. The hotel is about 30-45 minutes out of the city and in a rural farm area. And then we entered the gates of this new property - the official opening is Fall, 2008. The resort is amazing with each of the rooms in a separate cottage spread over the landscaped property. My cottage had a separate living and sleeping areas as well as a huge bath with soaking tub under a glass ceiling. The room was amazing and beyond my expectations. The room had a flat screen TV and DVD as well as the signature Westin Heavenly Bed. The pool was huge with plenty of lounge chairs spread around so you did not feel you ''on top'' of the guest sunning near you. The Spa was an incredible experience with amazingly attentive staff. The resort also has stables on the property. I would recommend that you book your spa treatments well in advance of your arrival as the weekend was very busy. The restaurant and bar were great and provided a nice experience while having a drink and eating. The food, spa cuisine or traditional, was fantastic with the menu offering a wide variety of choices. The Sunday Brunch was amazing as well. The resort staff took care of everything from the moment I arrived until I departed without being intrusive. I will be back in Gurgaon in Sept, 2008 and plan to spend another weekend at the resort.
The room and hallways were in very good taster Nicer then the hotels near the airport Mediocre compared to some of the 5 star hotels in that area No ATM. A Ways out of town No little store for toiletries, etc Doesn't compare to the Oberoi close by. Stay there instead if you can!
This a good western-style hotel not too far from the airport. The bed was the best we slept in during our 3-1/2 months in India. The food was first-rate, especially the dinner buffet that had a good variety of western and Indian cuisine, and unlike other western-style hotels in India was a great value for the money. The only caveat is that if you stay here, make sure you download a map to the hotel. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path, and our cab driver at least had a hard time finding the place.
