Easy to get to Verona centre train is loud, no chance to open window
Close to Villafranca Airport, for late arrivals good hotel to spend a night. It could do with better directions from the airport on how to get there.
Vicinity to airport. Morning free shuttle. Pool open to 9pm. Ideal if one wants to explore Garda area by car. Shuttle only up to 12.30. To return to hotel from Porta Nuova verona train station you need a taxi that costs about 16 Euros
Excellent customer service, nice staff. Situated in the country side. maybe it's a bit too close to the railways, but the rooms were well soundproofed
swimming pool; proximity to verona and motorway system. very inconsistent attitude of staff; at times rude, at other times helpfull. noise from mainline railway less than 20 metres away. breakfast was of limited choice, and quality. restaurant for dinner was empty but hotel was full. advertised shuttle service to verona only available for 4 hours during morning.
it was pretty cheap comparing the other 4* hotels in Verona breakfast was basic, I expected more from 4* hotel
The star of the hotel is waitor Sharif!!! Too small room (suite) for 4 people.
front desk in the morning was very slow, inexperienced. It seems getting taxi is problme in this hotel
The hotel is 3 km from varona airport. nearby the city of Verona. the air condition works just from the recepsion.
Cleanliness is very good, breakfast is poor, swimming pool is very good, small number of staff ... Location - train is pass just a few meter from hotel. You must say that in the brochure
location is perfect. very close to airport and have the shuttle service.staff are friendly. it will be good if the toilet kits have more things such as body lotion..but this is not a big thing. overall i am happy with my stay and i will choose this hotel again.
An ideal airport hotel at the Verona airport. Normally airport hotels provide early breakfast for the early-birds leaving the hotel really early, this one does not.
It was extremely clean, modern, spacious. I would definitely stay there again. Front reception spoke perfect English also. Free shuttle to airport was also a bonus that I did not expect. No. it was a breath of fresh air!
english speaking staff, bed linnens, convenient to airport, Price
Close to airport. Free shuttle to/from airport & Verona center.Friendly and helpful staff in reception. Very good restaurant too although a bit pricy. Breakfast ok. Only a minor thing. You can only access Internet with a cable. No Wifi available in bedrooms.
modern facilities and indoor pool
dining room was not up to the rest of the facilities standard
Good curtins and comfortalbe matress.
Very nice hotel. It's more like 5 star when you're in your room.
very central and modern
kids entertainments it's a fairy place for kids and calm for adults it's far for the city and close to gardalandpark
Nothing special The service at the restaurant
The comfort and cleanliness. Easy to find, well indicated. No
Friendly staff, good quality services restrictions on parking in the complex
The Gardaland Hotel Resort is a nice hotel for family vacations. A little bit pricey but very clean and comfort...
The bed was so poor that it was almost hilarious to try to sleep on it, get serious if you want to keep your customers!
Very clean, well organised, staff were friendly, nice surroundings Very expensive for what you get. Buffet breakfast was ok, plenty of food etc but quality probably not the highest standard.
The hotel is located between Sirmione en Lazise (and Bardolino en Garda). We used it, because it had everything and was cheap in comparison to other hotels, to get around and didn't stay much at the hotel itself. It's a themepark hotel so you should not be afraid of kids. The room was good. Big enough, good bathroom with everything in it. Airconditioning, widescreen tv, fridge, was all availabele. Even internet via a cable in the room for 3,- per 24h The window in the room was too high up which made the room look a bit unfriendly.
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel.
The hotel surroundings are nice, and the rooms tastefully decorated Food was pretty poor in comparison to other hotels in Italy. Also, felt a little like was on a conveyor belt system, polite though the staff were, we still were ushered in and out of the dining room as quickly as they could move us.
The staff, the room, the wieu from the Hotel
Excellent clean room, quiet, free parking No
Location, easy to find; comfortable rooms
Comfortable room, spacious parking, good accessibility. There was free Wi-Fi internet access, but I did not find regular Internet access through hotel's computer.
The room was very big and clean. The kingsize bed and the lcd tv played the game for me. the bathroom is very nit and clean.Best place to stay if you want a place near the garda lake.
The hotel was good, the service was nice and the breakfast was good. No free wifi.
Extremely friendly staff and very helpful. Room facilities were excellent, good parking around the hotel Superb location for a short drive into the centre of Verona (10km) very easy links to the autostrada for Venice, the lakes or Milan. Highly recommended.
Very big and clean room; excellent breakfast;
Staff were polite and helpful, quick taxi service, nice dining room experience, internet access beds were not very comfortable, hard mattresses, not enough covers
The location was good. Bustrans. to the Arena for free.
G The rooms where not clean enough especially the floor and furniture, the mattress had most of the springs that could be counted!!! We booked because we thought it was good value for money but than we had to pay for towels, linen and cleaning!!!!!
All the swimming pools was closed (without any reason). The final cleaning was 30 Eur, the booking price not included it, and it was unknown untill we arrived to the aparman, after check in.
The place is very new and well looked after. Rooms are big, airy and have good sized windows providing ample light Had to pay for: Cleaning (at end of trip), Sheets and Towels. I feel they should incorporate these into the price as they are hidden expnses. Also hotel does not accept any form of credit cards
The place is great and centrally located
Great staff very helpful considering we were a group of 6 bikers staying.
Everything was very good and staff very helpful I would have preffered to stay in the main body of the hotel and not in the tower................
Absolutely everything! Amazing hotel and wonderful stuff.
Transport available for opera performance in evening. Found breakfast could become expensive with a few additional items.
It is a very nice hotel,on a good location, with all facilities you need for your luxary...
Very nice Art Hotel, better then I expected.
It was a very memorable experience. This is truly a hotel with a difference. We recommend it.
The hotel shuttle driver We requested two rooms with two double beds. Upon check in we were told they were "all out" of those rooms. Also, there was a wedding party being held at the hotel and we had been notified ahead of time, we would have changed our reservations. The party was quite loud disrupting our sleep and we were not able to eat in the hotel resturant due to the wedding. We also were uncomfortable in the lobby and hotel facilities due to the wedding.
Spacious room, nice breakfast room. The brochure shows the building where the restaurant is located which is an ancient villa, however the real hotel is in a new building, quite boaring. This has been misleading for us. Internet no free, pool robe and towels available for rent.
Good location, clean rooms, good breakfast. Noisy room, very poor soundproofing.
I liked your spa / relax facilities, size and the comfort of your rooms, your gardens, etc. No Internet facilities in the rooms. Internet connection limited to the reception area, and is payable. Charging the usage of towels and swimming caps at the swimmining pool.
The room was very large and comfortable. The spa has 4 indoor pools, one just for lap swimming. The outdoor pool is an incredible 43 meters long and heated to 28 by termal waters. Beautiful!
Food and wine is excellent, Near Verona and the arena. Nice pool area good breakfast, very good service at the front desk
Very nice place, helpfull and friendly staff. Beautifull spa free of charge for guests of the hotel, except for saunas. Everything went good. Located near a lot of good places to visit, like Parco Sigurtà. I will come back.
Very elegant, sophisticated hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Super leisure facilities - the indoor spa area was beautifully constructed.
We only been there one night. Everything was excellent, also the surrandings of the hotel. If we will go to Verona again, we will certanly stay in this hotel.
space, elegance, facilities
Nice hotel, nice staff Breakfast is not included in the hotel price
The staff was helpfull and nice. The shuttle buss to the city was very convenient.
Easily accesible from the airport and highway. Close to city center by car. Shuttle to fair.
Had most of the basic needs covered; and they have free shuttle service to downtown Verona. Misleading information about internet availability. Food quality at the restaurant can be better.
Hotel is good.
The staff were very helpful and the pool facilities were great! The food in the restaurant was very average. There were no tea and coffee making facilities (other than going to the cafe).
Comfortable hotel. Convenient location. Fine swimming pool. Good restaurant, nice dining on the terrace. Swimming pool closes far too early.
nice terasse and garden with pool close to the high way and therefore a bit noisy; couldn't open the window in the hotel room
Convenient and free shuttle to airport.
I liked the spa/relax spot even if I was not able to use it because their hours did not coincide with mine. The staff was very helpful.
The rooms were very comfortable and spacious for European hotels. The restaurant provided great service with fair prices. The indoor pool and spa area is great to come back to after a long day site seeing. Service from one team member- absolutely horrible! The website is very misleading about the location to the city centre. It should be clearly stated that a car is required.
Close to Verona and great value for money.
Hotel is freshly renovated ex-monastery with big lawn in the middle which is suitable for children play. Room was cossy. Restaurant is very good.
fitness, swimming pool
Well set out conversion of monastery. Staff friendly and helpful. Good facilities.
Best Hotel in Verona ... Modern Castle Style. Food is excellent None
Nice building good location if you have a car The floor is wodden but it is very dirty and dusty, if you have kids there isn't any food for them at the hotel resturant
facilities and beautiful room
the pool was great . the hotel is very nice decorated and clean . the brakfast is very good. The picture of the room on the web is not what we get. we are very disappointed about it becouse we choose the room and upgraded it in order to get the room presented in the web site.
Great facilities and staff. Especially good hotel for adults and relaxion. You need car because there is not anything near the hotel.
I can state that it is perfect on all points of view: staff, rooms, location etc. A special plus for the excellent restaurant 10: excellent food, very friendly and professional staff, from the waiter to the Chef. In addition, the shuttle service is very useful in view of a trip by plane from Verona airport.
The information about the parking is misleading. It sais “free private parking is possible on site”, once the public car spaces outside are taken you have to pay 8 Euro to park in the hotel car park.
The location was great because we travelled to different cities during the day. The triple room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection. The internet is free which was very convenient for us. We enjoyed the jacuzzi in the fitness room. none
The staff were really helpful , both hotel and restaurant and the overall package was just great
Relaxed atmosphere, good restaurant serving excellent food, friendly staff, modern room with everything you need and secure parking. Ideally situated 10 minutes from airport and within easy reach of Verona centre.
staff did not explain parking in garage clearly. i.e. how to put the room card in the slot in the black box. the coffee machine at the restaurant (closes too early also in evening) was not working properly at breakfast (Monday morning) and was a really hokey, noisy cheap looking thing.
Pool closes very early in the evening. It woud be grate if it would be open, when you come from Verona or neerby amusemant parks. By the way, Gardaland closes at midnight and I like to jump in the pool, when I return from there.
all staffs are nice
Very clean and comfortable. Wide choice of continental breakfast (with great coffee). Very close to Verona airport (but no noise). If hotel car park is full, lots of free public spaces immediately outside the hotel. Not a dislike, but a comment - great for people using airport (as we were), but not for a holiday as situated out of town and in an industrial estate.
All, swimming pool.location No.
This is a beautiful, brand new hotel. The swimming pool and rest area are just fabulous. The hotel is located in middle of nowhere. Only go there if you have a car. There is nothing at walking distance. Public transportation is poor. A cab to downtown Verona coasts € 24. I sampled this hotel among those offering free shuttle to the airport; however I could not benefit from this since my flight was at 7:35 AM and the suttle service starts at 8:00 AM! It would be fair that booking.com or the hotel reimbouse me the € 12 I paid for the cab to the airport. Staff is quite rude.
The room was very clean and had good facilities. Bathroom facilities were also very good.I also liked the fact that when I checked out of the hotel in the early hours the next morning, breakfast was available. The chairs in the hotel room were a little uncomfortable being made of steel. Style over comfort.
Clean rooms Very far from centre. No shuttle provided to airport as mentioned for early departures (should be mentioned)
Clean and simple Nothing
the staff at the hotel were excellent
I don't recommend this hotel for longer stay more then 2 days. The hotel Gattopardo doesn't offer any excellent service for you and comfort as well.
Hotel was quiet and close to Verona...simple bus trip, and good local restaurant
It was better than sleeping in a tent... I think. It was an old, dirty, noisy hotel with ugly rooms and ignorant staff who weren't well-organised.
It was a good place to stay when attending an opera at the ARENA in Verona.
Hotel staff was really kind and helpful! For three star Italian hotel, breakfast was ok. Hotel is only few kilometers away from the Verona. Broken tiles in bathroom, water leaking while having shower. Since our room was on the street side, we couldn't really sleep with the window opened due to the traffic and really loud people even after the midnight!
Short distance from airport, good reception people are good at the desk, the breakfast is fair, can improve with variety.i had the room overlooking the road and good one, clean linen, can supply a coffee maker inside the room, which will feel the guest more at home, i came for the verona stone fair, the fair is at near by 5km distance and the taxi is available with short notice, the shopping mall nearby hotel of 100m nearby, all sort of things available, good for family shopping, no complaints from my side, good value for money,
Convenient to airport; good breakfast; good shower pressure; nice pizzeria just around the corner. Rooms facing the road might be a bit noisy but it was ok actually.
location, relative price no elevator. rooms were poor
They block a certain amount for guarantee. And when I want to pay the hotel I have been over limit my Visa card.
The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was diversified...Loved you crema croissants The bed sheets were a little bit worn out.
Hotel staff,comfort room,cleanles
I liked accessibility, nearness of Gardaland and other amusement parks, noninterference and kindness of the staff. Very small lift
The hotel staff are very ready to help and easy to comunicate with. One can feel relax.
Beautiful and romantic ancient villa, very well preserved and converted into a modern hotel. Large and well furnished rooms, wooden floor and ceiling and some "relic walls". Large and comfortable bathroom. Small but nice pool to relax. Good location to visit Verona and Garda lake. Better lighting of rooms would be useful on daytime, because of ancient small windows. Breakfast is good but could be improved with more fresh products in spite of boxed cereals and jams. Parkyard close to the pool uncomfortable: people were sunbathing near cars...
the style of the hotel. the water in the swimmingpool was too cold.
Everything. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. The restaurant is excellent with a great wine choices. The location. Even with GPS, it's a little bit tricky to find it.
Very clean and comfortable. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff.
security of the property traffic noise
The bedroom was wonderful. The swimming-pool was very nice. The bed was unconfortable. The coffee was not good.
Hotel is very clean and staff is very helpful and professional. Restaurant is excellent Although excellent the restaurant is very expensive. Hotel is located in a small village with no alternative than staying there in the evenings
Nice pool and very nice rooms.
This hotel was excellent in every respect. The staff were very helpful all the time and despite our late night arrival still went out of their way to assist us with food and drinks. The facilities are first class, immaculately clean and very comfortable. This hotel was very good value for money. We loved the place and will go back in the near future.
Dinner. Pool. It was a bit removed, too far away from Mantova. Should have bigger TV, and standard european channels like Eurosport etc.. Bit of traffic outside window.
The wellness is a nice facility in the hotel.
nice new furniture, superb bathroom, large room, the swimmingpool the loud disco at the pool, music till 3 am
Perfect location. Close to Lake Garda, Verona and the wine districy Valpolicella. Swimingpool and nice hotel room. Reception had a lot of documents on the desk visable for all guests. This made a bad first impression. I got the feeling the hotel had a mis management which was not true.(prposal: Make a desk at lower level behind the reception desk were these documents, notes and other things can get stored out of sight for guests.
I liked the size of the room. The pool area, and the breakfast, was also nice. Yes I didn´t like that they came to clean the room very late one day, and just entered without knocking on the door.
Nice place, a bit in the middle of nowhere, but ideal for relaxing. Rich breakfast. The spa is ok, but I expected something much bigger and fancier based on the photos and the website. Well, you should not believe what you see there.
The facilities were relaxing and resturant was good Bath flooded first day. Staff were unhelpful and no apology given, just another key for another room. Staff were abit unfriendly and not helpful.
Hotel easy to find, staff friendly ,excellent breakfast, top design rooms. Some works done at night... (before 10 pm)
Your bed is hard as a rock, would appricate real juice in 4 star hotel instead of syrup drink
A very very good value
Positioning in the city, stuff, breakfast Room was heavily smelling (because of smokers) and there were no day curtains, only ones for the night, thus I had no chance to open them during day-time as everything was visible for ourtside through the window without curtains.
