Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. Clean. Good food. For us the room was too hot. We had difficulty sleeping on one or two nights
The hotel was an excellent value for a one night stay before heading to the beach in Capo Vaticano. The staff was very helpful.
The staff and the fact that in these area there is a really four star hotel very cosy. The absence of public transport means. I must use only taxi.
All the staff made it feel like home during my business trip. Excellent. No.
booked standard double room and got upgrade to a suite at no extra cost. It was beautiful and the staff were so helpful and professional.
The daytime employees and kitchen staff were excellent The last night my air conditioning broke in the room and they didn't offer to move me to a different room nor could they find me a fan!
We stayed at this hotel because we had an early morning flight out of Lamezia Terme the following morning. The hotel seems quite new, lovely, and we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge which was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated. It is only about 5 minutes from the airport which was very convenient. I will say that our first impression of the neighborhood was not the best, but there was nothing to be concerned about. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to accommodate us and there was a cute pub, yes pub, a block from the hotel and we had a great dinner with the locals.I would stay here again without hesitation. Lovely!
The staff were lovely, the room lovely. Breakfast cooked to order The location
Cleanliness, location to train station and the desk staff There was nothing
Very warm and comfortable.Helpful staff and despite being out of season extremely good and well presented food. The hotel is definitely the smartest business in the area where it is situated!
The room and the staff.
Cleanliness, friendliness and proximity to train station.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable
Nice swimming pool area and terrace. Menu was expensive but food was good.Located in very quiet area with not much to do or see locally.
AT the time I checked out of the hotel, it was pouring rain. The customer service representative stopped what he was doing to walk me to my taxi with an umbrella to prevent me from getting wet. That is what I call "going the extra mile." There was an issue with the language barrier. I am from the US.
Its close location to Lamezia Airport.
I did not like it. It is in a not very nice area with no facilities locally to go to, and is only useful for getting quickly to Lamezie airport. We wished we had stayed further out somewher nicer staff were not enthusiatic. Might beok if you were working locally
clean room, hotel is near the airport, so if you have to get a plane it's quite convenient breakfast
Close to Lamezia Terme. This served as a great first stop to refresh after our flight from Canada. Limited english spoken but that is to be expected in the south of Italy.
The hotel is next to the Lamezia Terme airport which is important to check in for an early morning flight. This is a basic hotel with clean, working facilities.
Staff members tried to help. Breakfast was good. Electrical didn't work properly. Location of the hotel is in a very run down area of town. Does not seem to warrant being a 4 star hotel, more like 3 at best.
The staff was very helpful. When we could not access and print out our boarding passes on the public computer, they brought out the office's computer and we were able to get our boarding passes printed. The waiter at the Restaurant spoke English and was very attentive. They also had an English menue, which was great. The food was excellent. We stayed only one night at the hotel before flying home. It is located about 8 km from the airport in Lamezia Terme in the busy downtown and there really is not much to do once you are there. Of course this did not matter to us, since we were only there for one night.
Clean and comfortable.
The TV They were working on our balcony so it was noisy.
Great staff especially Guiseppe. This hotel perfectly met our requirements. Also make sure you stop into the cafe accross the street - amazing pastries!
great staff, so helpful and friendly, real family atmosphere, great city... local people very friendly... not many tourists...nice change from busy rome.
We needed a hotel not far from the airport and we were only there extremely briefly overnight but it was perfect.
close to everything - eating shopping - cost of taxi from airport - US dollar is low - cost of taxi 40us
dining room service friendly and helpfull waiter
Room accomodations and staff were excellent
The rooms are very new, clean and up to date. There is a nice view from the balcony area. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It is run by a family who takes great pride in providing excellent service and they truly care about their guests. The location is great as it is just walking distance to the active city center. Nicastro is a very nice town, as are the other surrounding small towns , all with very friendly people. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent. It is a fine dining restaurant with very reasonable prices. The menu has great selections, the restaurant is upscale and they have added a nice large flat screen tv for the guests viewing. It's nice to eat at the hotel. Again... the staff was great. They helped in so many ways and are sincerely kind. I will go there again.
Although getting to the hotel was a task, once there, the accommodations proved to be quite good. The Cantagalli Cafe (attached to the hotel) has superb gelati and cornetti. Their coffee is also very good.
Clean, very friendly and free wifi access.
kind staff, good breakfast small room, old furniture, quite dirty bathroom
Clean, good dinner, good value, secure car parking, centrally located in a friendly town, itself an ideal location to break our journey to Sicily. No
The pastry and gelato Not a good location; 10km from the airport - 25euro each way to the airport. There is nothing in the town; no restaurant, very old/dirty town. The rooms are across the street from the "very nice" reception in an old building. The furniture is very old, the bathroom needs to be renovated. The picture on the website do not reflect the room we stayed in.
Hotel staff went out of their way to understand our English language and provide us with transportation and communication.
The staff couldnt have been more helpful and friendly. I would definiately stay there again. The facilities are limited, but the staff more than make up for that. The area wasnt the best, but it was true italian hospitality
The staff was very friendly. The coffee bar was great gelato out of this world pastries a treat.in southern italy it is hard to find places where english is spoken the staff made a great effort to communicate.
Clean room + free airport shuttle No wi fi coverage throughout hotel, food at the restaurant not delicious at all, serviced by an old angre lady not speaking other languages than Italian
The weather - the quietness of area No explanation as to where breakfast was to be taken.no restaurants in vacinity
The hotel lies nice in the countryside, access is possible only by car. Nice rooms and a good swimming-pool-area; the place seems to be popular with locals for events like weddings; very good restaurant and continental breakfast (a buffet much above italian standard) The restaurant doesn't have a patio, meals are served inside a separate building, even it would have enough space for e big patio overlooking the olive trees surrounding the hotel; on the other side, even in summer (mid-July) the outside temperature in the evening was was astonishingly fresh for southern Italy, so it is maybe preferable to eat inside
Location to the airport Hotel is very tired and run down. Telephone and air conditioning did not work. Shower was inadequate. Bed uncomfortable. Floor uneven. Unable to purchase wine or any other beverage after 10 pm in the evening.
Very good location
only the location the breakfast was poor. There was not enough food and the quality of the food was poor
location, parking facilities, breakfast, helpfulness and courtesy of staff. Would be nice to have an internet point available to check email, print boarding passes. One must have a computer to use the wi-fi, and there charge.
All staff professional, friendly and helpful. Beautiful view. Very clean. Great breakfast buffet. Restaurant staff at breakfast great.
Lavishly decorated hotel well located on the sea front. As always in Italy breakfast could have been more extensive
Everything, a truly wonderful and amazing hotel. The Hotel has gone above and beyond to think of, and provide pleasure and comfort to the customer. From the comfort and beauty of the bedrooms which followed through the whole hotel. Dinner and breakfast were a rare treat, served in excellent surroundings. The breakfast was the most plentiful buffet of excellent quality, with someone ready with a frying pan ready to take your order for a fresh omelette with the filling of your choice. This hotel I could have moved into. Thank you Hotel Palace. Not Applicable
Big room with seaview. Kind staff. Free parking space. Clean. Great view over the ocean. The breakfastbuffet was not very big but it was ok.
The hotel staff was very helpful. They spoke fluent english. The rooms were ornately elegant. The spa was still under construction. The roof top terrace was closed due to construction. It is not located directly on the beach. You have to cross the road to get to the beach.
Hotel itself was comfortable and staff pleasant Area around hotel was disappointing. graffiti was a problem. Streets in poor condition
A very friendly hotel.Rather left to fend for oneself on arrival. Very clean but our bedroom carpet could have done with a good shampoo. The Hotel locatian was good close to the sea but the surroundings were rather run down. Not their fault!
Great rooms and atmosphere. The staff was very nice, friendly and professional and fulfilled each and every wish we had. Wonderful view to the sea. I think this is my best hotel experience so far. The location is not so good if you don't have a car. It was also a bit difficult to find the first time even if the hotel is along the road. They just need to put some more directions on the way.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the pool area was clean with sunloungers etc - pool temperature was fine and you didn't have to wear swim caps which you do in some pools in italy. Breakfast selection sufficient - cereals, pastries, hams, fruit etc - no omlettes or cooked food. There was no around the pool service so if you wanted a drink you had to go to the bar and get it yourself - also no poolside snacks so had to go out and bring pizza in for kids at lunchtime...shame because for a luxury 4star hotel it let itself down in this area.
rooms are very clean, staff are helpful, food was excellant there was a 20euro charge per person for use of the jacuzzi and sauna
Nice staff. Free internet. Free parking. New facilities. The view is not gorgeous, but at least we can see the sea. The restaurant was closed (although I must say staff was kind enough to prepare me a cold dish one of the evenings). Bed is kind of noisy (single foot 'fency' bed is not the best solution). Bathtub needs a curtain (if you want a shower you'll have water all over).
The rooms were excellent, spacious, clean, everything new. Breakfast was sufficient. The parking place free and inside fence. The stuff has to improve it’s English!
Spa was great
Nothing Service ,Food
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff when I arrived late in the evening. Convenient location-near airport and station
Not a great deal, near to train station - train and station noise throughout the night!. Very average hotel.
Very close to Lamezia Rail Station and only 10 Euro taxi ride to Airport.Very Friendly Bit old fashioned
we only stayed there one night since we had an extremely early flight the next morning and it´s only two kilometers away from the Lamezia Terme airport. It was not clean and it smelled bad due to artificial cleaning aromas.
nothing accept its location that was close to the airport. poor cleaniness, poor attitude and facilities.
Ease and convenience from the Airport. The air conditioning didn't work. The hotel smelt, was dirty and the staff were not helpful.
near airport, only 50 euro, nice manager, easy to find it on GPS of rental car, clean and shows that owners care, near the train station for sitting in cafe and people watching, accurate wake-up call, parking right nearby noisy from others in surrounding rooms, luggage on stairs at all hours, toilet located in the shower, hard bed, Italian channels only, not fun, no place to sit outside and watch the sun set, economy experience
The location, the friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere
The staff was very helpful and the location between the train and airport was convenient. No elevator and our bath was strangely configured.
I liked the location of the hotel. It is opposite the train station and not far from the airport Almost everything
Very kind staff, they even offered us breakfast when we were leaving at 5 a.m. for the airport, even though breakfast is not served as early! The restaurant was closed in the evening we stayed there, but it opened for the hotel-guests. Quite noisy - there were some young men screaming and jumping around at 10 p.m.
good retaurant friendly staff poor breakfast
The breakfast offered was minimal at best...amoung the worst I have ever had
The evening meal the four of us ordered was very very good and the staff friendly and helpful.
hot spring and the food (rappot qualite/prix)
The Pizzas at the resturant were Excellent.
