When you stay at Agriturismo Porta Pantalica in Cassaro, you'll be 15 minutes by foot from Anapo Valley. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Salvatore the owner goes out of his way to make sure your stay is stress free . Having had a bit of trouble with our car, he offered to pick us up if we don't make it back. Sebastiano the chef makes good tasty food and is, rightly so, proud of his work, taking his time to explain in detail what is in your plate. Waking up early to the sounds of the mooing cows and braying donkeys and nothing else is a great way to start the day.
Cons: The property is quite a way off from the main towns eg Ragusa, Siracusa etc so is best suited for exploring the immediate areas. Breakfast was simple and started at 8.30 am. We were offered an earlier breakfast but we declined to avoid disrupting the staff
Pros: Very friendly, I would like to thank especially the Chef, delicious food and very kind and helpfull, thank you very much :) this place is great for visiting beautifull Pantalica.
Pros: Owner super helpful and friendly. Stayed up till 2am to welcome us and kept giving us directions due to nearby works. Super quiet location. Clean rooms. Good breakfast.
Cons: Slightly difficult to reach.
Pros: Areal family farm in the countryside near a wonderful park and great hiking. The owner was terrific and the chef knows Sicilian food. The place is not fancy but it is inviting.a
Pros: Our host was very welcoming. We had a great diner with local products (the best pasta that de ever ate). We recommand that agritourismo.
Pros: Very nice and quiet place, close to the wonderful pantalica valley. Thank you for the sweet fruits and delicious breakfast with homemade products
Pros: A great place to stay on the road to Pantalica from Ferla. Comfortable rooms with seating outside to enjoy the views. The meal in the evening was typical home cooked food - the antipasto was particularly good and they offered us home made limoncello and grappa after the meal. Although the hosts spoke limited English, we managed to communicate - they were very patient - and gave really good info about walking around the Pantalica site - where to park and a route (12km long) which was stunning.

Pros: We stayed one night in Melilli. We were pleasantly surprised by the view of Mount Etna from the outdoor terrace.
Pros: Our hosts generosity and consideration exceeded all our expectations
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Pros: Great location for us as we visited family in Melilli. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast adequate and out early. Nice views as they are anywhere in Melilli. Great value.
Cons: It would be nice if hot water was available for coffee or tea during the evenings as you sit out on the patio after dark.
Pros: Responsive personal attention regarding local history and features. Gabriele was extremely accommodating, provided transportation from Siracusa to Melilli. Very nice breakfast, patios view of MT. Etna and Augusta.
Pros: Very pleasant host. Very clean room
Pros: The B & B owner was wonderful! He picked us up at the airport and drove us through the town pointing out places of interest. He showed us a couple places to have dinner. The next day he drove us to the bus stop. The day we left he took us to the two cemeteries in town to find our grandparents graves. When we left he drove us to our hotel in Catania where we were joining our tour. The room was comfortable and opened to our own patio-which overlooked the sea. Highly recommend this property
Cons: The city is on a hill-walking around Melilli is difficult due to the steep hills
Pros: It was very clean and very quiet. Gabriel checked me in. He said several times "this is your house.". A very gracious host.
Cons: When I got there they could not find my reservation I emailed booking.com and,it was resolved and I had a nice room.
Pros: Gabriele was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!! Made us feel at home.
Pros: Lovely place.
With a stay at Pantalica Rooms in Sortino, you'll be minutes from Puppet Theatre Museum and close to Rocky Necropolis of Pantalica.
Pros: Room (downstairs) was basic but ok. the bed was comfy, the kitchen upstairs is nice. The wifi is also good. and we had nice canoli in the morning as a gesture.
Cons: I have a feeling the better rooms of this B&B are on the upstairs, as ours, the one at the entrance downstairs was kinda bare-bones. the toilet did not have ventilation, and I had to figure out where the main switch was to start the electricity for bathroom boiler & plugs. Our overall 7-day experience in Sicily tells me this place is overpriced. We paid the highest price here out of all Sicily for the most basic room, without the breakfast (obviously we did not have breakfast in our booking, but that is my mistake as I assumed it's a default thing for a B&B).
