Thanks for nice Time
Very new rooms, nice area, nice parking. Possible to check in when after the opening hours. Mail 'em. Elevator didn't work, Airco didn't work, No information about the area or activity's
Accomodation was relatively quiet and at discount price of 200 euros for 7 nights was good value for money for a solo traveller. Ensuite facilities were small but functional and of reasonable quality. These facilities could possibly have been larger.
went on walks in the mountains and used different restaurants in town each night
The studio was just right to stay two nights and make some trips in the mountains. The small kitchwen facility allows preparation of a meal what is very helpfull for young children traveling.
Modern ,spacious , clean ,easy to find , view of the mountains
Staff member gave helpful directions about walking route into centre of town. Free parking Apppearance of hotel more like an apartment block; very plain
Good base for walking in the mountains and eating in different restaurants every night
Newly-built apartment, appears to be student accommodation but very quiet, all mod cons provided.
Room spotless and well equiped. Staff extremely helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
I found the hotel friendly, humerous and helpful. Although the restaurant was not open I was provided with a lovely snack especially welcome as I had a long day getting there
Swimming pool open all day long Narrow car park
The atmosphere no
Everything (minibar would be ++)
A beautiful facility in a magnificent setting. The staff was unfailingly courteous and helpful.
Although the place seems a little strange at first, it is quite conforable and good. The room was spacious and the location of the hotel is very good. Small warderobe, small sheets.
The twin room was modern, spacious, nice and the outside street noice was kept out very well. The shower was great. The outside and entrance of the hotel are old and dark.
Excellent location and good value. Free Wi-Fi and modern, clean rooms. Breakfast is located in the restaurant downstairs. Our a/c didn't work, but there was a fan. The restaurant where breakfast is served is not up to the standard of the hotel.
Location Absence of lift; entrance to the building where the hotel is located (at the first floor) is a bit neglected
The hotel is in the centre of cote and very handy for visiting the sites of corte and its surroundings. The room was well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good and has to be taken at the adjoing bar/cafe. There is no car parking at the hotel and you eother have tp park in a public car park or find street parking. The hotel staff were helpful in identifying this.
Very good. Nice people. Clean. No fridge-bar in the room.
Both the bedroom and the bathroom were huge, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. The owner/receptionist/cook/waiter was great. Evening dinner was a special treat, serving gourmet meals. Typical continental breakfast - meager. Town is undergoing a complete reconstruction. No place to walk - streets broken up. Don't recommend visiting there for at least one year.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very well suited for exploring the region both mountains and coast. The rooms were very comfortable albeit basic. Location was within a town and therefore setting a little disappointing.
Very welcoming staff, comfortable, modern Hotel, excellent food offering good variety during our 10 day stay. I would go again.
Good comfortable room. Very good food.
Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, only 5 mins drive from the beach but good facilities in town Fruit at breakfast would have been good as the 8 euro breakfast is not included in the price
Everything. Large comfortable rooms. The hotel is modern, clean, by far the best 3* hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are warm, friendly and extremely helpful. Some French would be an advantage. The owner runs the hotel with exceptional personal pride and is seemingly ever present. Monsieur Monca continues a long family tradition running a hotel on this site. We would definitely stay again.
everything the owner does not speak a word in english and is not always polite
Friendly staff who were helpful and welcoming
Having to walk 700 metres up to the village to eat every night.
The best 2stars hotel which I've ever seen. There are excellent design-style large rooms with large wc and beautiful sight from the windows, Friendly staff. check in untill 7pm
Great value for money. Wonderful position with view straight down the valley.
This small hotel had a stunning view over the mountains and hills, it is perfect if you are looking for a calm place away from crowds and in the middle of nature (the area is recommended to hikers and mountain-lovers). The rooms were clean, quite simple yet new and with a fresh look. There is no Reception but most of the time there is staff at the small bar (make sure you check in during the day or arrange with them if you plan to arrive late!). Staff was friendly and kind. Good value for money. A car/motorcycle is needed in this region. We didn't like the fact that there was no fridge-minibar, but being a simple hotel in a tiny mountain village it is rather normal. Mostly, we were deceived that our request at reservation for a quiet room wasn't really fulfilled (we were given the room next to the bar and stairs and at 8:00 AM people would come down to have breakfast- not without noise). Since hotel was full, we saw no reason in complaining and asking to change room...
The room and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The location and the panorama was very good. I liked the room and the view from it. The region is very nice.
Very spacious rooms overlooking pool with individual terraces.
Basic but comfortable rooms. Good quality restaurant for evening meals.Nice but cold outdoor swimmimg pool. Simple breakfasts. Nicer choice from Patisserie acoss the road. One mile drive to sandy beach. I guess they don't have crime in Corsica as we were expected to leave our room key on a rack that any residents could access, for the cleaner to use. After cleaning the room, she left the key in the door
room facing swimming pool, easy to park
Very good price, restaurant also good, location not bead for exploring SE Corsica. Worse mattress in Europe.
it is a fair hotel with good access to key roads in Corsica. and it is comfortable.
Good restaurant in the hotel. Short working time of swimming pool.
Easy to find, easy to park, close to the road but still very quite, excellent hotel for people traveling around Corsica
The Hotel L'Empereur was an excellent choice it was much above my expectations when we arrived the accomodation is exelent and I would recommend this to any traveller we stayed only for two nights on our travels around Corsica but we had not booked accomodation for the following evening we should have stayed at the Empereur a further evening. Bury Family
Clean, modern interior, friendly staff who speak english, a comfortable hotel. If you take a room in the annexe, i'd advise you to take the key with you, otherwise after your room has been cleaned the key will be left on the wall, where anyone could pick it up.
In the process of refubishment - which it needs flaky exterior etc.however interior staff location to airport good
friendly/helpful staff; more comfort in room than higher priced hotels in corsica. Excellent wi-fi in room. Excellent for a short stay, possibly location may not suggest a long stay. Receptionist needs a raise, she's always there, either it's 8am or 8pm! :) You have to jump back on car to go anywhere, sea or even Aleria museum; Hotel is just over 198 street.
Beautiful hotel! Seems all new inside. Very clean and quite room with air conditioned. Very kind and nice staff!
To small beds.
The friendliness of the staff, the service whenever we sat on the terrace, the location - ideal for the local wedding/reception taking place at the Fort nearby and the church up in Pianellu. Considering we had originally tried to book the L'Empereur but it was fully booked for our nights back in February as was the Orangier, I'm glad we got this one as it had a more relaxed and cool appeal from the outside with its terrace bar overlooking the high street from slightly above and then into its inside bar and reception. Our friends in the other two hotels both commented on how cool the terrace was & the service. n/a - even though things weren't perfect (one of the staff had not noticed the modified booking of an extra night so we got a phonecall at 11.40am the day after the wedding having returned at 5am that morning saying we should've checked out by now) - the staff corrected themselves immediately and acted upon their mistakes (breakfast on them) - very impressive, leaving no room for being annoyed at all.
perfect conditions, good value for money
We had a pleasant stay for one night, the standard double room is quite big, clean, little balcony, tv, air conditioning, big bathroom. good value for money. staff hardly speaks english or italian, hair dryer broken.
Everything. We stayed at the hotel on our way from Porto-Veccio to Porto. Very new and confortable room.
The room dimensions were reasonable, the staff was kind, there was a parking for the car, it was on the main street of the village, was clean. Nothing to point out. There was also internet and an hairdryer to my wife :) Really nothing negative to point out. We only used as a place for one night, so it really did the porpoise.
Wi Fi available. No stand up shower facility or shower curtain available. It was usable but could have been made easier to shower rather than bath. Hotel was good and friendly but actual location is a bit out of the way. You definitely need a car to be able to see more of the Island than just Aleria
The hotel does not look like a hotel from outside. Its entrance is not much different from a typical apartment in any of old European cities. But it is a real hotel--you will know it once you step into the lobby. The rooms have been renovated (or simply new) and very clean. The breakfast costs only one euro each person, quite unusual for hotels in France. The location is also good. The hotel is in the old district of the town, and every part of Corte is within a short walking distance. Parking can be a problem, but there is a large indoor parking facility nearby if you can't find a spot right in front of the hotel.
