Pros: After a few nights in this gorgeous hotel it is safe to say we fell in love with it. We had an amazing experience. Everything was perfect, from the dinner with really well cooked food to the breakfast with plenty of choices. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. During the nights the only sounds that we could hear were from the local wildlife. Obviously we will come back again for some other great nights in that fantastic hotel.

Pros: Everything was great. Christina and Peter were wonderful. Our room was huge. We had dinner and it was great. We were sorry that we didn’t come in time for lunch. They make a great barbecue and the atmosphere is light and festive. Before going to sleep I sat in the moonlight and watched the view. Then in the morning I went again with a cup of coffee. Sublime. There’s also a nice walk right from the hotel. I did it before breakfast.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hostess was utterly charming. The house is wonderful. Breakfast was just right.
7.9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good. Home-made yoghurt and delicious apricots particularly appreciated. Madame's English is excellent. She was extremely helpful recommending places to bathe (it was very hot) and trying to cool our room - we were on the third floor but had a large fan and Madam opened the windows for us in the evening so the room would be more comfortable. Big bonus - superb art inc. fantastic sculpture and fireflies in the garden (perhaps only this time of year)? A quirky place off the beaten track but brilliant for us - you can easily reach high mountains and Menton. We recommend you drive into Sospel to eat - lots of good places to choose from.
Cons: The heat was too much but that's climate change - nothing to do with Domaine du Parais.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay. Marie was a pleasant and good-hearted host, and she was very willing to accommodate our request for late check-in and early breakfast. Breakfast itself was marvelous, in part thanks to the delicious confitures. The domain itself is a bit remote, but in exchange you get an oasis of calm within nature.

Pros: Marie the owner of the property is a amazing host. There is a tremendus care and friendliness in her. She is an artist and this is vsisble in every aspect of the property. The rooms are beautiful. The space is elegant. This is a incredibly silent place. There is ample nature around the property and a little forest. We also could do lovely hiking along the road up the hill.
Cons: Liked everything.

Pros: Wonderful old house restored by the owners set in the woods above Sospel. The room was very large, very comfortable, and it is really quiet! Dark and quiet at night, great night's sleep! Wonderful breakfast of croissant or brioche, along with bread, fruit, tea, coffee, jams, home made yogurt (wonderful!), and delightful conversation. We enjoyed our stay there thoroughly
Cons: A little difficult to find, otherwise just great.

7.1 Good
Pros: This was a clean property in a beautiful setting sitting in beautiful gardens in the edge of the stunning river. The pool was lovely. There was a path that took you to the main town approx 800m walk.
Cons: The property would benefit from some modernising. A/C would be good and some communal areas where guests felt comfortable in the evenings. The movement through the property was restricted after breakfast. It felt more like a B&B rather than a hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ambience and pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bedrooms were comfortable with super power shower! Breakfast perfect tasteful and presented well. The views from dining room beautiful, as garden and outside space very well kept. Sadly a little rainy so unable to properly enjoy, out of their control !!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Friendly owners who were very helpful!
Cons: The rooms were small including the bed however it didn’t really matter as we were outside most of the time!
6.7 Good
Pros: There is a lovely swimming pool and garden. The hotel is situated in a beautiful spot next to the river and there is a lovely walk along the river into the town. The owners will serve drinks on the terrace in the evening and there are many maps and leaflets about the local area.
Cons: We had a triple room which was very cramped. The bunk bed was just about over our bed. Our bed was a small (4ft 6) double bed with a very irritating plastic sheet on it which made it very hot and noisy. We slept a bit better the 2nd night after removing the sheet but still found the bed a bit too small. There was only wifi in the reception area, none in our room.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The property is nice, the garden is swimming pool are great, direct access to a river is also a nice touch.
Cons: The owners for the way they treat people in general... there are restrictions everywhere and you feel stressed out from the moment you meet them. It is a shame as the property is great...
7.5 Good
Pros: the location, the building itself close to the river
Cons: The location is in a distant neighborhood of the village, 15 minute walk from the center, this factor must clarified. The price is higher than a direct booking.
