Pros: Fantastic breakfast, comfortable bed, view amazing and lovely and peaceful. Marc a very good host, and very welcoming. Phillipe doing a really good job keeping the pool and area beautiful in spite of the weather!
Cons: Unfortunately we had bad weather, so couldn't take advantage of the pool.
Pros: Marc the host was wonderful, helpful and friendly. The view from our room was great, looking over the swimming pool and the valley below. Getting into the driveway was a bit tricky at first but well worth the effort with plenty of space to park and turn around when you need to leave.
Pros: Reiaxed atmosphere
Cons: Bedlinen was unkempt. Really appeared to require ironing.
Pros: great breakfast
Pros: The hosts were really welcoming and attentive. Villa Escandorgue is as good as the pictures, the pool even better. View from the terrace is beautiful. Breakfast was excellent too. Parking undercover, we arrived in rain, was welcome. It is easy to find from the motorway, and Lodève itself is a very typical attractive small french town. We had a good meal at email@example.com (booked by our host).
Cons: The driveway is quite steep, but manageable. The air conditioning is noisy (the host apologised for this), but we didn’t need it at night.
Pros: Got a great welcome from Marc & Philipe. Helped us to book a v nice restaurant. Had a delicious breakfast sitting on the balcony with great view of the mountains and forest. Marc planned a spectacular route through the mountains to Millau bridge for us which we did on motorbike , while allowing us to leave our van at the property on the day of our departure.
Cons: Had a little difficulty parking due to incline leading to the property but Marc & Philipe assisted us v well.
Pros: This is a wonderful establishment run by a very friendly and accommodating couple. Great swimming pool and a very neat, thoughtful and clean room.if you are a cyclist this is already 2km start on the Col and it is an amazing route!
Pros: Exceptional tastefully furnished. Excellent service which far above the standard! Very nice and exceptional endeavoured hosts!

Pros: Nice restaurant and pool. Th eowners and staff are all very good and welcoming at all times. There are a few restaurants nearby if staying for more than a few days.
Cons: Limited menu that didn't change. Parking is in an allocated lay-by in front of the hotel which is more than deep enough to get your car away from passing traffic. There is public parking very nearby by the river.
Pros: Very nice owner, dedicated to making your stay as smooth as possible
Pros: The staff were lovely. The restaurant served a beautiful meal and breakfast was great. The bed was comfortable.
Pros: Great family hospitality
Pros: The staff are so pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location. The food in the restaurant was really good and reasonably priced. There is a lovely place to walk the dog directly opposite and a super park five minutes away. It is do close to the town centre with little shops bars and restaurants and a fabulous market on Saturday.
Cons: It was very hot while we were staying so we had the windows open for a cool breeze and the weir is noisy. But probably not a usual summer!
Pros: Everything !
Cons: Nothing !

Pros: Room (suite) was large and comfortable with doors onto the large terrace (shared). Private secure parking. (only 4 cars).
Pros: Hotel is conveniently placed close to the motorway in a small town with a reasonable selection of bars and restaurants. Couldn't really fault the hotel and the lady in charge was pleasant and very helpful. Secure parking for motorcycle was ideal. Probably not a holiday hot spot but this is reflected in the prices of food and drink in the town and I would recommend for a stopover .
Cons: Nothing really.
Pros: Conveniently central; clean and quiet with a warm welcome. Good parking.
Cons: Nothing; a good old-fashioned French hotel.
Pros: The breakfast was good The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful
Pros: The concierge is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The lighting in the room
Pros: Fabulous big suite with access to terrace was a great luxury for a two day stay after walking for four days. Great restaurants nearby, especially Miniscule.

With a stay at La Roseraie in Lodeve, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Lodeve Cathedral and Musee de Lodeve. Featured amenities include wired Internet access (surcharge), multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Wifi needs to be better and more coverage
Pros: The atmosphere and decor is authentic and tasteful. The evening meal was excellent. Actually, we loved the entire experience. And at last I spent a night in a brothel (albeit a has-been)!
Pros: The friendliness of the joint owners, their ability to speak good english. We liked the locally sourced home cooked food and wine. The setting just on the outskirts of the town making it a 5 minute walk into the centre. We were shown how to do our own boiled eggs in a morning using a little egg boiler.
Cons: WC could have been en-suite but realise the old building does have limitations.
Pros: The evening meal was not at all bad, and the two young ladies running the place were charming.
Cons: The room and toilet facilities. The place is more like a quirky museum than a hotel. Why do you let the French get away with places like this?
Pros: Quirky characterful premises with lovely garden and swimming pool.
Pros: Great location and value for money... Nice decor
Pros: A very unusual overnight stay for us - in a former "bordel". Delighted that the owners have retained the original character and features of La Roserai especially the outdoor Italianate piscine.
Cons: Nothing except perhaps the bedroom not being en suite - a minor inconvenience.
Pros: Cute little hotel, cute environment
Cons: A bit of soap in the room (fortunately we always take shower foam along) and something to put the soap or foam bottle on in the shower.
When you stay at Le Mazet in Lodeve, you'll be in the mountains, within a 5-minute drive of Lodeve Cathedral and Musee de Lodeve. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, microwave in a common area, and refrigerator in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The view, the food in the evening and the room
Cons: The bed (very small and low quality), the breakfast (there where only sweet things to eat, no eggs and we could not ask for more bread). the staff was oké but you could feel the tension between the staff. The owner was in an oké mood but we had the feeling we could not ask for anything and if he would have a bad day it could not have been nice. We are wondering if maybe the owner likes the build b&b's but maybe does not like hosting people.
Pros: Views were great
Cons: We had pre-booked an evening meal, on arrival we were told there was no evening meal available for us as the proprietors were going out for the evening. Worse still we could not have food or drinks in the room, this after a 6 hour drive is not what we expected from the hosts. We were so disappointed with everything we decided to leave before breakfast so cannot comment on the service or the food.
Cons: Finding the place was difficult, even with Google and Car SatNav both. Very un-welcoming French owners. The description did not match the property, I thought this could be a challenged legally. The included breakfast and breakfast service was very poor.
Pros: First class food Fantastic Hosts Excellent music A very warm atmosphere Superb room Will return shortly
Cons: Everything was Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view of Lodeve. The host are so nice and were very interested in making our stay wonderful.. The food was home cooked and really good. A place to come back to.
Cons: Some noise from the guest above us.
Pros: Cheap. Very clean modern rooms. Comfortable bed. Good hot shower. Excellent evening meal by the owner/chef. Had a good chat with another couple who were guests.
Cons: A little bit of difficulty with the last 300 meters in finding the place but google helped. The car navigation was not up to it. Maybe a bit more signposting
"Les Rochers" occupies the entire ground floor of a large country house, situated on a private domaine between the mediterranean and the mountains of Languedoc. It offers comfortable, spacious accommodation for 4 people. The outdoor terrace and barbecue area offers superb views towards the mountains. It is surrounded by beds of lavender, with hordes of butterflies in summer. The peaceful woodland gardens beyond contain a children's play area, boules pitch, lawns and heated swimming pool(shared only with the owners). Beyond the gates, numerous footpaths and bridle ways extend into the adjoining national forest, making this an ideal location for lovers of wild life, rambling and mountain biking. This property is situated in an exclusive situation along a part tarmac and part gravelled forest road, some distance from the village, perfect for all those seeking peace and tranquillity. Although it seems a world away, the nearby A75 autoroute leads to innumerable places of interest, and the Mediterranean beaches are only a 50 minute drive away. The nearby medieval village of Soubes offers vibrant café life and a small shop, while the town of Lodeve has art galleries, cathedral, supermarkets and much more.
Pros: Welcoming hosts, stunning location (would be perfect for a holiday), delicious buffet breakfast, and everything else besides.
Cons: I couldn't stay longer.
