Beautiful unexpected get away. The room was the size of an apartment with very nice bathroom. Unfortunately our windows looked at I95 so we had to listen to the sounds of the highway all night.
It is beautiful and the room is huge with a big fireplace. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful!

Staff was great! Very close to the highway, a lot of road noise
Great place to stay, great rooms, 6.5 miles or so from Fairfield U. 3 miles from downtown Fairfield, right off highway. This is a very clean hotel, 5 months old, rooms are very large.

The front desk staff exceptionally professional .
It has a grand entrance/lobby and overall is a nice hotel. The bed was super comfy, the garage was well lit and felt safe, and the view was amazing (9th floor with city/water view). Bathroom was nothing spectacular, but felt clean. There was old gum on the carpet in front of the bathroom door and next to the bed, ew. The pool area was super depressing, didn't use it once because of that (stayed 5 nights), needs a complete remodel. There's an additional charge for parking and WI-FI.
The experience was invisible, just the way I like it. I didn't have to "deal with" anything. Everything was taken care of. Breakfast buffet was a little bit of a rip-off. After saying "yes" to coffee, anything ordered other than the buffet seemed not worth it. Buffet items listed on the menu were not available once you commit to the buffet (smoked salmon, bacon).
Clean, Comfortable rooms , comfortable beds Not within walking distance to the downtown area.
Everything was good but to pay parking wen you are staying there i never pay parking staying in the hotel my first time Did not know if i did not walk in the room in white socks how dirty was gest it better hard wood floor to clean o shampoo de rooms because vacuum it not only for cleaning at lest one every 6 month thad just me
I want to commend Gary, one of the van drivers for helping me with directions, he seemed to know what I needed before I did. Thoughful and considerate
Compliments to Thedia at the front desk. Very kind and welcoming.
The food was great , and the hot water was good No Ac , didn't work well at all . The tub drain was very slow I stood in water while I showered . Beds were a bit to lumpy , hard. Didn't sleep well in the room at all , to warm 73 % .
Pay for parking Not enough parking Pool closed for private event Overcharged and had to get refund (still working) No microwave or fridge in room. Had to get access to club room
Like the pool , lobby and room the view. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. No fridge in room. Wasn't able to charge any of our phone.
never got to check in...arrived sunday instead of sat.
Parking is confusing
Nice atmosphere, pool is good, friendly staff The high amenities fee, the noise of the local train, room was old.
It was noisy. Rolling cleaners and guest luggage in the hallways. Our key did not work and the engineer had to come. he was nice.
Breakfast wasn't included
better mattress and pillows than i have had at marriott and hampton as of late. Hotel is under construction and has no bar or restaurant as indicated. the room only had sheers not room darkening curtins, not a huge problem as i was faced across a roof. they told you to pay at a machine the $10 for parking garage but it opened without showing the reciept. bathroom was beat up but functional
The stay could be overall satisfactory. I love the location and the hotel looks great! A lady wakes me up early in the morning, while clearly I turned the do not disturb key on. And by 9 am it was impossible to continue to sleep because someboddy was shouting loudly spanish songs while cleaning the room next door. These are what ruined the stay for me.
Centrally located for our purpose; nice lobby area for meeting/conversation; helpful staff, convenient, moderately-priced parking; clean, well-appointed rooms No complaints
Quiet and comfortable room for 2 adults and 2 children. Good breakfast at hotel restaurant. Noisy atrium on weekend even late into the night. Out-dated pool area.
The location, awesome bed and bedding, and my favorite the awesome water pressure in the shower!! The space is wide open and was confusing as I entered. The front desk to the right was matter of fact looking kind of none descript. Felt like I was at an airline check-in counter than a high quality hotel and conference center. The back revolving door leading to the parking garage was not high quality and the rug was filthy. The ground in the garage was filthy and there was conference room props, tables, etc in the car garage that made the place feel dirty! The fake would flooring on the bedroom was noted but the room was clean. The TV menu selection screen was awful!
It was a decently priced room close to the city, the hotel looked really fancy. The whole experience was weird, you have to pay to park in a parking garage that's attached to two hotels, the lobby is huge and inconvenient. One of the staff was really rude to my wife when she asked for some silverware, and for some strange reason they held an additional $30 for an accommodation fee which we were never told about. It's not a really big deal but the room didn't have a fridge which was a little annoying.
Room was comfortable. Being charged for parking at the hotel's own parking lot. A not so subtle tactic for padding charges for the room. Reminds me of the tactics of cellular companies that dream up an assortment of additional charges to the stated price of service.
Staff were super helpful and courteous. Price was way less than half of what it would have cost us in NYC. Train to NYC was 45 minutes and hotel has free shuttle to train station. Bathroom door was very squeaky but they fixed it quickly and were genuinely concerned with guest comfort. Sound proofing between rooms not super great but still overall very good experience.
The location is good, the parking garage facility , comfort, was good We went at 11.30 pm and the receptionist response is okie not impressive and there is micro oven in the room. the carpet looks old in the room.
The friendliness and service of the staff was excellent and the room very clean and spacious. Very good.
Hilton Honors floor. Restaurant was good. I didn't have the buffet like most guests. The kitchen made me a custom omlet and did a good job.
Easy modern clean Parking is tight
Good staff, clean comfortable updated rooms.
I didn't like the heater in the room was very noisy and the chair in the room was dirty
Can only say perfect
Nothing Went there for the pool for the kids. Was closed. They never offered to call when it opened
Front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Hotel was a little worn down, bed pillows were terrible. There was a lot of noise from a group of people yelling and partying in the hallway late at night and we also were in the room next to an unruly individual and ended up with hotel security coming up to defuse the situation. Please see email that I previously sent this morning. We would never use this hotel again.
fitness room comfy king bed shower good pool area - dingy
They were friendly the rooms were clean and we weren't bothered all weekend They had one small elevator for the entire hotel and it was unbearably slow. Then if you went to take the stairs they were filthy.
Staff was very friendly and let us do a late checkout. There was barely any parking for the hotel. Caused a big inconvenience because parking is limited. Wish we knew that before we got there.
Cozy stay. Close to lots of restaurants, bars, shops. The breakfast wasn't so great. I really dislike fake eggs.
nice decor, good location No window on room, only one soap bar, uncomfortable bed and pillow, YMCA exercise music at 6AM, difficult parking lot
Party Central. Music playing all night. Apparently unsupervised children in the room next to me, while the parents hit the bars. The room itself was average, sort of a mix of honeymoon suite and no-tell motel vibe. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim, and the shower (sized for two, no tub, low water pressure) had an awkward layout. The website makes no mention of fact that parking is available or how to access it. By the time I got to the desk and learned that there was parking, I had already paid to do so at the public garage next door. When I turned in my key, the desk clerk ask how my stay was. "Fair". "Oh, that's great!"
Comfort, cleanliness, accommodating, friendly and breakfast was very good Can't think of anything
Close to downtown Small room.
Hotel Zero Degrees has a great location, helpful, friendly, and professional staff, deliciois breakfast, and clean, modern rooms. It seems to be a well cared for, updated building with nice decor. As others have mentioned, the walls here are quite thin. Staying here on Valentine's Day presented a symphony of noise through the walls on all sides. Also, like many hotels, the heat/AC left me bone dry by morning.
I bought this hotel in general was very nice. Everyone was friendly, the hotel and rooms were very clean. The design was great. Wifi worked, TV choice was good, free flavored waters were a nice touch, and outside and inside lobby seating areas were nice. I prioritize coffee and comfort over exercise. The lack of free coffee in the morning was a bummer. I almost died when they told me how much the coffee was. My wife ran down the street to McDonald's to grab 3 more for my family. The food offerings were gimmicky healthy and expensive. Ie kale chips. While staying fit is nice, the room was definitely geared towards working out. If you also like comfy reading chairs, those were removed so you had more exercise space. as I said, liked the hotel but if you aren't an exercise freak than maybe these small things will also annoy you.
All of the staff were very acomidating, and nice. The hotel was clean, new, convenient, and perfect for a health conscious person. The gym and in room supplies were perfect if you were away from your home gym Everything was great
It was simply a stop over on a longer driving trip. Satisfactory, but not great. Not well maintained--looked very tired and in need of better maintenance.
The room and the entire building were amazing. Super friendly staff. Great prices and atmosphere. Will be going back again.
The room was so clean and the king bed was so soft. The shower was nice, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. I wish there was a bathtub.
Excellent mattresses Severe minimalist decor. Not a place for families with kids.
location, morning coffee and paper. Free WIFI Quick snack to go. Stale or not available.
Ease off comford No
Beds They room keys
I was cut off mid-sentence (once we had been in dialogue about where to get food) by a front desk staffer because another guest (from a wedding party) came after from a conference room with a problem. I thought it was rude and I felt like the wedding party guests were held as a higher priority.
Nice looking rooms, exactly what I needed. Great price. Coffee machine was broken. Ants in cupboards.
The room was very nice and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The room service and food was great.
This hotel does a nice job with a very tired building. Great lobby, beds are comfortable. Staff is very helpful and friendly The building is a bit long in the tooth. Peeling wall paper in the hallways, floors that are not level, etc, etc.
the beds the room ahh
Comfortable bed and room. Solid free breakfast with hot options. Friendly staff.
The bed was basically the only thing about the room that was worth the money. It was so comfortable and that's rare for me when it comes to hotels. The full size jacuzzi was good too. First of all, I requested a room far away from the elevators. My room was right next to it. Also, they bloody gave me a handicapped room. The nerve of these people. The first night I was there, a guy walks in to the front lobby to buy a room for the night. He gets a room far away from the elevators and on the top floor. Also, there wasn't a hair dryer in my room, no iron and there were barely any channels on the TV. There also wasn't any TP in the bathroom. The free breakfast was disgusting. There were powdered eggs for crying out loud. DO NOT STAY HERE, I NEVER WILL AGAIN.
The breakfast is excellent!
Clean, updated rooms with a relaxed feel & decor. Everything functioned properly and amenities were good. Very nice lobby/gathering area. Friendly 'family' atmosphere and staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will use again.
Good location, close to Jennings Beach. Friendly staff. Bathroom had a slight "sewage" smell. Wi-Fi was spotty. Room was very dark, not enough lights; but if I had the blinds open, people could look in.
Clean rooms and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. Parking was tough to find. Very full lot.
Service during their remodel problems was excellent The actual remodeling caused a few complications. Once the remodel is over. Things i am sure will be excellent
The room was comfortable. The lobby was inviting. Breakfast was wonderful. Front desk staff was friendly. The cleaning staff was rude and the pool was small and overcrowded.
Nice big room for the price, great water pressure in the shower, very close to highways, free breakfast. Mattress was too firm for my soft little back
Comforatble room and convenient to I-95 The carpet and furnishings in the public areas could be revewed.
Spacious room. The room numbering made little sense, and was haphazard.
Reasonable rates. Stink from smoke in the rooms.
We stayed there for it's location. The price was good too. The King Size bed was comfortable. The room was small and there was no elevator to the second floor. There was no ice machine on the second floor.
I like the fact that it’s one of a kind and not part of a chain. Pool area needs up-grading of outdoor furniture and general up keep of the pool area was poor needs some sprucing up.
Rooms on the small side but cozy. Nice bar and bartender was very good. Good menu in restaurant. The breakfast buffet was varied but the food in the hot section was never hot, perhaps lukewarm. Also for tea drinkers it would be nice to have more variety than just Lipton regular and decaf. Didn't realize the hotel had no elevator until I arrived and found I was on the second floor, inconvenient for business travelers with extra baggage. Make sure you specify if that is a problem.
sono(S Norwalk) picture on line shows hotel overlooking water. Maybe ten miles away. Also I still have issues with your co. regarding the price originally contracted for and having my credit card co dispute charges.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, the free breakfast was great.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pillows were a bit..lumpy.
Closely located to my meeting sight. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. No elevator, though not a big problem
staff 2 fire alarms in middle of night
helpful staff, great breakfast, convenient location to our son's new apartment..easy to find off the highway. Our son recommended this hotel as our first night at another hotel was awful! there was a swim meet somewhere in Norwalk Conn. so many families stayed at the Hilton. Parents left their children unattended in the evening as the kids ran thru the hallways making noise and slamming doors till after midnight. Repeated calls to the front desk made little difference. there wasn't much they could do. Also, a small fire in the kitchen Monday morning at 8 am ..we had to get out of the hotel and stand outside for half an hour. We were on the second floor.. the stairs were hard to find, there were no signs in the halls...good thing there was no smoke in the hallways
I have stayed at this Marriott many times before and always find the staff to be very friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. We ate at Northern Lights and the waitress was delightful and the food delicious. I love the shuttle service to the train station as well.
Nice property situated near Stamford Town Center mall. Lots of local night spots, close to the train and I95. Convenient for work locally, going to the city or even a Yankees game.
I stayed at th Stamford Marriott with some friends for a short getaway. We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we had a beautiful newly renovated room with a huge flat screen TV. We had the option to have a spa treatment or take a yoga class both on the property. This property is also in a great location, 2 blocks from the train to go to NYC, lots of restaurants, night life and shopping within minutes of the hotel. The only issue that I had was my internet in the room was a bit slow. Overall, I would recommend the Stamford Marriott.
The room was small and had a stale odor. I was disgusted with the bathroom because of the stain and hair on the floor. It was also ridiculous to pay so much for your stay and still have to pay for parking.
Hotel located within walking distance to mall, restaurants and move theatres. Comfortable room with king size bed.
great location for Yankees game and Bronx Zoo. Location is great for restaurants and shopping. Hotel was clean and friendly.
12 dollars extra to park. whats next a luggage charge?
Hotel was what was expected and it was in a decent location.
Pulled in late, got a room cheap, and was not disappointed.
Had a bad experience with hotel from the very beginning. Waited an hour to be picked up at the train station. If it had been earlier and if I had known my way around, I would have walked it. The room looked very comfortable and beautiful. However, the sheets were stained and towels were old looking. The neighbors across the way were noisy. The icing on the cake was the bed bug; not 'bedbug' just a regular bug on the bed. Not a roach either. Not sure what kind of bug.
I thought this was a beautiful property. ..but little did I know it gaf bed bugs! I started to notice bites maybe 2 days after I left there. I cant prove I got them there but come on.... coincidence? Hmmmmm. Oh and when u called the front office manager she rushed me off the phone. Smh.
They might want to in clude the parking fee in the price. Afterall Stanford isn't New York City.
The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful even at very late hours of the night. Staff members in other parts of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. One member helped my fiancé and I get into the gym when our key didn't seem to work. Some members of the staff did a poor job at maintaining eye contact with us when answering questions. This can be a major issue, as my fiancé felt that the member was not paying attention to her or was distracted from their conversation. This is picky but is the difference between being helpful and highly professional.
We stay at a variety hotels in this chain across the northeast. This was a good location outside of NY on the way to Boston We didn't receive the room that we paid for and reserved. I was traveling with two of my children and we all slept in one bed in a smokers room. We all didn't sleep well, ended up with sore throats, headaches and our clothes smelling of smoke the rest of the next day as we continued our trip. The hotel was contacted numerous times, said that they would respond and we have not heard back. Super disappointing for this property. It doesn't reflect the chain, it's really a problem with this property.
The hotel had the layout of an upscale hotel with a large lobby and eating facilities without the expense of an upscale hotel. Would have been nice to have a Jacuzzi..
We were there two nights and they couldn't get the TV to work at all and never offered another room to us so we could watch TV. It was like we bothered the front desk when we kept telling them the TV wasn't fixed. No effort on their part and we usually go there 3 times a year but will not again. Never mind the 11:30pm fire alarm because the kitchen burnt food to a crisp. Lobby was filled with smoke....
Clean, Comfortable, convenient to highway. Check in was easy. Was allowed to check in before 3pm. I will stay here again. Had to drive to next exit for food, but wasn't that far.
Room was clean and nicely decorated. Desk clerk was rude. Very undesirable guests. Animals were everywhere.
Motel 6 Milford is an excellent motel if you need a cheap but comfortable and clean place to stay at. A friend and myself booked last minute for only $60 which is great when you have two or more people (only $30 a piece!) The beds were comfortable and we were overall surprised at what we were getting for the price. Quiet during the night. Great place if you just need a cheap place for a couple overnight stays but is not very luxurious, still good for the price though. A lot of the items in the room itself was faulty, we spent a good five minutes trying to figure out how to get the lights on! Realized some were just broken while others were easy to turn on. Workers are loud in the morning, could be heard going up and down the hall knocking on doors and cleaning. Like many motels nothing was included with our room, vending machines were expensive, so if you choose this motel make sure you are fully prepared with drinks, snacks, and all hygiene products!
Rooms were clean and had most of the amenities you would expect of a more expensive hotel. Location had easy freeway access. I was impressed by how thin they can build their walls. Not only was I able to hear my neighbor talking on the phone, but I could actually hear the other side of the conversation too.
This is now maybe the best value for the money in the Milford area. Located right off the highway, clean rooms that are fairly new and in good shape, good staff, clean, free coffee and free wifi. There are fridges and microwaves in the rooms, and a laundry room onsite. They have an outdoor pool in season. I was even able to stream video on the free wifi. This is not a fancy, upscale property, but it's very nice for a Motel 6. I definitely plan to stay here again when I'm in the area. Nothing.
The staff was amazing The location, I wish it was more to do near by.
the food service area was poor. The service was dissappointing, the prices too high and the food indifferent.A turn-off.
Very friendly staff greeted us.The layout of the bedroom was perfect, with a sofa, and the "tucked around the corner" kingsize bed, made it feel even more private. The desk space, with the pullout computer desk, was perfect and the chair was very comfortable for both my tall husband and me, a much shorter person. Wifi connection was good and the TV channels more than adequate. We have been very happy with our stays at Marriott hotels and have always had excellent service while staying there. Our only complaint was that the restaurant food was a little off, probably because we checked in late and ordering salads was not a good idea at the time of night,as the the greens were even more tired than we were. The restaurant staff was, on the other hand, so delightful and accommodating that we said nothing and went to our room happy to not have to drive any more for anything, that night..
Clean. Great location. Very comfortable. Noisy in the courtyard during the night!!!
