The house is very nice but the problem is that there are not restaurants around and the hotel does not have eating service.
staff very helpful, room was clean, good breakfast, value for money
Rustic, converted large farm-house with some traditional artefacts - a very different experience. Refreshing, but basic, outdoor pool by lemon trees. Breakfast basic, but pleasant. Within 30-40 mins drive of the islands of A Toxa and Arousa. Nothing at all locally for tourists (including no restaurants), this problem exacerbated by the fact that the hotel has no restaurant or cafe area for snacks. It does however have a reasonably well-stocked bar, but you need to find the owner who lives in the farmhouse to serve you. Saying this, the owners did provide crockery for us to eat some basic supplies we obtained from the local mini-market
Pazo Lararche is an old historic winery that has been converted into a hotel in a lovely country setting. Because it was not purpose built as a hotel, it lacks some features of a modern hotel, for example internet access is poor is some rooms because of the huge stone walls, but is good in the common room.
For the price £23 euro it was clean tidy people friendly a good bed and nights sleep no English then I have no Spanish I will stay again on a main road close to where I needed to be in the morning dont expect the ritz the cheapest hotel I have stayed in I paid £67 in Santiago and no difference thanks for the bed and friendship
The friendly and helpful staff who did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The views from the front were beautiful. The rooms were clean and satisfactory for this type of hotel and the hotel is spacious The only thing to spoil it was the road noise, as there is a very busy road directly in front of the hotel. A rear view room would be better, but no view
Poor sound isolation in rooms
The people in the hotel are really friendly and helpful. The bathroom has been recently renovated. Nice breakfast as well. The hotel is next to a gas station, a busy street and a workshop. Which means that at daytime it may be kind of noisy.
Staff were very helpful. Busy road at the front was noisy so lucky we had a rear room, not much of a view though.
This was for sure a budget hotel but but cannot fault the place. The food in the restaurant was good and value for money. The rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. Unfortunately there was a language barrier and no member of staff spoke english.but then I dont speak Spanish Rooms at the front of the hotel were on a busy main road and at the back a railway line.
The hotel allowed dogs which was great for us. It was also a good place to stay for a couple of nights, when travelling in Spain, A nice layed back place, good value, including the breakfast. It was a shame it was situated on a very busy, fast road next to 2 petrol stations!!.Their is double glazing but still noisy if the window open(especially in the summer with no air con!) It was difficult to walk from hotel, on this road too.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very nice -alot of variety. The rooms were very clean.
Second stay at this hotel...just as we remembered.Comfortable historical builing friendly helpful staff.
Fantastic welcome and warmth from the owners. Nothing was too much trouble for them.Beautiful rooms and the swimming pool. No, we were very happy with everything.
The location is excellent, between Vigo and Pontevedra. The owners go out of their way to recommend touring and gastronomic destinations. The rooms are very good and comfortable, and the restoration of the pld building should please architecture buffs. Directions to the hotel could be improved.
The owners Juan Carlos & Rudi, the location and all facilities. N/A
A very good shower, free parking, good buffet breakfast and kindness of the staff. A old furniture of the bedroom but nothing that deserves a negarive point to the hotel.
The helpful attitude of the staff .
Near beach Bathroom very small
Parking Restaurant smell at all the time, old facilities, not proper reception
Location right on the coast would have been good if the weather hadn't been so terrible. Popular restaurant.
The location, right on a public beach. The views out to the bridge in the distance were really nice. The restaurant posted a very nice menu but, when we were seated, we found out that only a very few dishes were available.
The staff were very friendly. When they found out that we were walking the Camino, they gave us muffins and apples for the road. The room was cold, but we took long hot showers and jumped in bed.
