Pros: - Very friendly and welcoming hospitality. - Fantastic design aesthetic and modern but homely feel. - Less than 5 mins from the main station. - Lots of space. - Minimal but carefully chosen furniture and clever lighting. - Great breakfast (vegetarian). - Charming terrace. - Underfloor heating in the bathroom and lounge.
Cons: - I had a couple of issues with using the wifi for skype calls (slow), but mostly it was OK. - The drain in the shower is a little slow, causing soapy water to build up a bit.
Pros: Nice Breakfirst, very clean rooms and good Service.

Pros: Very clean hotel. Nice stuff.
Pros: We had a wonderful room (400) which had a lounge area with 2 sofas and a large terrace with sun lounger, table and chairs. It had a very comfortable double bed and up a spiral staircase were 2 singles. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and dinner. Lovely terrace and garden.
Cons: We were expecting a room accessible by lift. There is a lift but it does not service all rooms, so call hotel when you book if this is important,
Pros: The room was fine and it was just off the main road. Bed comfortable.
Cons: The girl on the desk wasn't very welcoming. We were given a key and sent off to find another building. We had drinks in the garden but the grass needed cutting, and there was bird excrement on all the chairs around the (small) pool. It looked scruffy. We didn't eat in the restaurant it appeared very expensive and the outside area didn't inspire us to eat there. We didn't take breakfast for the same reason. The location was almost in a housing estate, appearing to have no other choice (that evening) to eat within walking distance. We managed to find a lovely hidden beer garden/tavern down the road which had a very warm welcome.
Pros: It was perfect for our walking holiday. Good Public Transport links. Food excellent, the Spa was a real treat and the Staff wonderful.
Pros: The best breakfast at a hotel.
Cons: The personal is very nice, but they don't speak english... only 1-2 of the receptionist are english speakers.
Pros: Very nice super friendly evening meal and breakfast lovely

Located in Neunkirchen, Pension am Stummplatz is a 1-minute drive from Saar-Hunsrueck Nature Park and 9 minutes from Gondwana - Das Praehistorium.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: No parking!
Pros: room is spacious...nice location
Cons: The room facing the street was quite noisy...
Pros: -clean room -good breakfast around the corner -late check-in was possible
Cons: -the room was smaller than expected. On the pictures of the booked room was a little seating area but this did not turn out to be our room. -the entrance and hallway has the feel of a student dormatory -noisy at night
Pros: We were there for a concert at Gebläsehalle and the hotel is conveniently located 10 walking minutes from the venue. Room was big and clean, all seems to be very modern and recently renovated. You even don't need a key (and can't lose one...) as you access the facilities with 3 separate pincodes (so: don't you lose THEM!). Breakfast is provided by the "Brasserie" in the same building, wich seems the "place to be" (and eat out) in Neunkirchen, as it's basically full at noon and on evenings. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. Top recommendation if you stay in Neunkirchen!
Pros: super friendly staff I received an email to contact the property before we arrive to pick up key. I asked them for a different check in time due to a wedding we attended . The hotel called me and told me no problem- when we arrived check in super quick - you get a 3 codes to acces the main building /middle door and your room. Very cool .The room was so spacious and clean . Nice big comfortable bed huge Mirror next to bed . big flat scrren tv even with Sky . We had a good night sleep .

Pros: I like the way staff help you, they are so kind. Their small pub inside is so cute, they serve almost every kind of drink you like, not much varieties, but it’s good quality.
Cons: The building itself is a bit old, no elevator inside. If you have a big luggage as I had, you will have problem to go to your room with it, stairs! They still have carpets in the corridors and on the stairs, unfortunately...
Pros: Nice and cozy place, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast and great value for money
Pros: It was clean
Cons: My bed was as hard as a rock. I called the front desk after 2200 when I was going to sleep and explained that the bed was so hard. The Chef told me that the front desk man was gone and I could call back tomorrow. The restaurant was overpriced too.
Pros: parking on site, good bedding, excellent breakfast, clean room, friendly staff
Cons: far from everything, no decoration in the room. restaurant and bar closed on Saturday night
Pros: The location, just outside Saarbrücken, was very convenient - in close proximity to the motorway network which made the hotel an ideal stopover on my way from Austria to the UK. The parking garage made parking on a tight site easy. The room was spacious and well-ventilated, with large windows that opened fully (newer hotels, take note!). The bathroom was spacious too, equipped with a corner bath and a shower. Reasonably good water pressure. The staff were friendly and courteous. The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
Cons: The hotel has no lift, so if you are on the top floor (I was) it is a long climb if your bags are heavy. Although the food was perfectly ok, dinner was quite expensive for the ambience and the food served. Breakfast was a little past its best by the time I arrived at nine a.m., with the hot food quite tired and curled around the edges. Some of the decor now looks extremely dated - pastel swirl colour schemes from the early 1990s, I'd guess, and room numbers indicated by signs from a decade before (see photo).
Pros: Good breakfast.
Cons: When it is warm and you have to open your Window you hear the noise of the highway. It is a pitty there is no aircondition.
Pros: area was good but a bit far away from city center. Breakfast was good, and ladies was very helpful in kitchen.
Pros: Very nice clean and cozy hotel with friendly personal.
Pros: Friendly staff, extremely clean room, wonderful breakfast and nice, convenient location for those visiting the Sankt Ingbert area and surrounding areas.k
Cons: All good to excellently

Pros: Good meal and beer. Affordable prices.
Pros: Very friendly staff, good dar and food. Excellent value for money. I will stay next time I travel to this part of Germany.
Cons: Couldn't have breakfast dogs not allowed at breakfast. Otherwise dog friendly including in the bar/restaurant in the evening . I understand why dogs often not allowed into breakfast, although many do.
Pros: Buzzing busy hotel and bar, reasonable food and beer, comfortable large room
Pros: Good breakfast, nice & clean room.
Cons: The walls between rooms are quite thin - you can hear almost everything from the adjacent rooms.
Pros: We were helped by Nadia the owners daughter who went the extra mile to help. The hotel was excellent value for money and was a very comfortable place to stay. Our evening meal and breakfast was superb and a good price.

Cons: Wi-Fi hotspot cumbersome

Pros: The hotel was just as we expected it to be, Well presented and within walking distance of the local facilities. Breakfast was good.
Cons: WE were disapoined to discover that the Bistro was closed for the week, when we arrived. It was a serious considerartion when we booked
Pros: Lovely clean room , did have a private sauna, sadly didn't get chance to use if as only stayed one night . Very nice breakfast .
Cons: Only problem was , when we arrived at 6.30 pm ish , there was no body there to let us in . We had to phone the owner , ( phone number on the locked door , didn't include the code , so make sure you have the booking . Com number for property handy ) . The lady did arrive fairly quickly in her car . Also did expect to be able to get a drink and food at the bar in the evening, but not open , so we found a pizzeria 5 mins away, which was fine . Also be aware that you have to pay extra for drinks and chocolate in the fridge ( which are quite expensive) it didn't state in our room , but did in friends.
Pros: The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast included was good and there's a coffee machine that makes your favorite cup of coffee (compared to other hotels that only serve brewed coffee with creme).
Cons: We booked the Junior Suite because it has a bunk bed that my kids could sleep in but it was built so high that even an adult would have second thoughts of sleeping up there.
Pros: Clean and nice rooms, quiet place, good breakfast. Recommended places if someone has to go for business in the near area.
Cons: Man at the desk seemed not happy that we didn't speak German language! Web site talks about restaurant but in two evening it was never open, but I understood they had health problem in the team just that days.
Cons: Picture shows view from the only windov in the room. No blinders so you feel like someone is watching you whole night through that hole in the pavement. No heating. I was freezing. (Lady at the reception explained me at the end that if i undo that fake fireplace from the wall there is a hidden button))) No working light in the bathroom. U have to use light from the room. But when you switch-on that light than everyone can see you because of no blinders. No working lights in the Hall. Room in the basement
Located in Quierschied, Triebener Hof Hotel Restaurant is a 2-minute drive from Saar-Hunsrueck Nature Park and 9 minutes from Gondwana - Das Praehistorium. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Friendliness of the staff
Pros: Size of room and friendly welcoming owner
Pros: Welcoming hoste. Authentic Indian curry offered in the restaurant is a real bonus for the British paley to enjoy. Italian fare is also nice.
Pros: We booked 7 single rooms for 1 night. Rooms are simple but very clean, Very good shower. Diner was OK, Broad choice on the menu. Breakfast was excellent, served on the table, very complete. All in all good hotel for a short stay. Price/Quality is good.
Cons: Total amount was charged off my creditcard before our stay despite i selected "PAY AT THE PROPERTY". We travelled with 7 individual persons, so now the 6 other guests have to make a transfer to my account. This is not OK, We booked 7 single rooms, one can expect that this are 7 individuals paying their own bill.
Pros: Very good for motorcyclists. A safe, covered area was available for my motorbike. The food and hospitality were excellent value. Recommend.
Pros: Good food and beer
Pros: Unfortunately due to family circumstances the restaurant was closed. However the hostess was very accommodating and prepared a very tasty, sumptuous & traditional Indian feast and an equally delightful Desi breakfast. She made us feel like friends and not guests.
Pros: We only had coffee so can't really comment on the breakfast...but the coffee was very good!

Pros: Comfortable, friendly, nice breakfast and good Greek restaurant.
Cons: View out bedroom window not flash. Bit gloomy, needed more light.
Pros: Excellent food as always.
Pros: Everything, clean, comfortable, enough space for parking and very friendly staff. Also greek restaurant there.
Cons: Check inn only till 10 pm possible and breakfast it’s good, but can be little bit more choice (but this problem in all small hotels, not easy to do for just few guests)
Pros: Average breakfast. Nothing special, however acceptable for given price
Cons: Staff of the hotel does not speak English (with one exception). English speaking guest is considered as the exotic one.
Pros: Location close to town and highway - quiet and next to a forest
Cons: The fact that you can only check in after 16.00 was inconvenient for us
Pros: Excellent Greek food as always! Will stay again!
Pros: Good location. Very close to motorowy. Clean big room.
Cons: No bottled water in the room.
Located in Bexbach, Hotel Restaurant Hochwiesmühle is within a 15-minute drive of Saar-Hunsrueck Nature Park and Homburg Castle Ruins. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and laundry facilities. This hotel has 6 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Excellent, will be staying here again when we travel through Europe.
Cons: If I'm being picky then the spa would benefit from some extra cleaning.
Pros: Big rat
Cons: Very poor services
Pros: Stayed for 2 weeks. Breakfast had a lot of variety. The location was great for us since we were working out of the Army Depot in Miesau; no congestion or "staus" on A6. Plenty of dinner options and wines to choose from. Although most of the staff didn't understand English or my broken German, they were great and patient with me using my translation app on my phone. For the most part, the rooms are clean. The spa is very nice. The rule is to go naked so beware. We learned the hard way. Great staff always smiling and helping. Plenty of parking spaces as well.
Cons: the hotel manager is terrible. he doesn't care for customer service. the "spa" was great but when we told him the water in the jacuzzi was cold he didn't care. when asked if he could assist with the staff he would pretty much blow them off and tell them to assist us instead. the rooms and everywhere else had a ton of cobwebs and spiders. they seem to own the place and they never cleaned them out of the rooms. one of my coworkers had 2 spiders on her face while sleeping. she is traumatized now. beware the time of check in. we got there a sunday evening and called and called until someone decided they wanted to speak English to let us know the keys to our rooms were on the table outside the establishment in envelopes and then we had to 007 our way to our room...
Pros: Breakfast was good . Hotel restaurant was very good.
Cons: the tap in the shower was not fixed. There were no shampo and tissues althogh there was an empty box for tissues and we asked twice for it, our request was not answerd. The staff speak only German.
Pros: Location is excellent, 10 mins from the motorway yet you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. Outdoor Lido and nature walks right on your doorstep. Facilities although a little dated are superb. Staff were great and very helpful. You can even rent a garage for €9 a night if needed. If you go to the top of the street and right, there is one of the best bakeries I've ever eaten in.
Cons: Would be helpful if info was in other languages than just German. Better sign for reception, easy to miss it and go past, took me a while of walking round to find. Could do with a bit of a refresh everywhere but for the price I'm being quite picky.
Cons: Very clean and well fitted out bedroom. Apparently the smallest the hotel has but felt very spacious for single occupant. Late booking in was not a problem with reception open in restaurant.
Pros: The breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable, the heated bathroom floor was nice. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna was nice. Free parking. Everything was just as advertised.
Cons: It was nice having spa type facilities; however, it needs work. The hot tub/jacuzzi didn't bubble much like a jacuzzi should (we think some of the jets just didn't work) and it also was just warm... should be hot. The rain shower which you are supposed to use before entering the facility didn't turn on at all. There were 2 showers directly across from the sauna and it looks like the temperature should be adjustable but only cold came out of both. Still giving this a perfect score for facilities because even with these minor issues... it was very nice.
Situated in Bexbach, this hotel is 0.1 mi (0.1 km) from Saar-Hunsrueck Nature Park and within 6 mi (10 km) of Homburg Castle Ruins and Schlossberg Caves. Roman Museum and Gondwana - Das Praehistorium are also within 12 mi (20 km). Bexbach Station is 10 minutes by foot.
Located in Bexbach, Gästehaus des Hotel Haus Krone is within a 15-minute drive of Saar-Hunsrueck Nature Park and Homburg Castle Ruins. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was nice and the bed/pillows/blankets were VERY comfortable! One of the bigger beds I have seen in Europe. The bathroom was very large and there was a good sized shrank in the room to hold our luggage. The location was great for hopping on/off the highway as this was just a layover before going to the flomarkt the next day. A crib was provided for our baby so that was REALLY convent. It was all set up and ready to go so when we arrived late it made getting him to bed easy.
Cons: The bathroom (while spacious) was not completely clean and the soap dispenser was broken. The shower area was also very dark and did not seem especially clean either. Many towels were provided which was nice but they were very rough. Unfortunately, we traveled during a heat wave here in Europe so it was SWELTERING HOT! Not the hotels fault, but it would have been nice to have a fan available. Also, because it was so hot we had the windows open and the street noise was a bit noisy for 2300. Though it is a main road so maybe that is to be expected?
Pros: We like the bed, room size and the breakfast. The receptionist was very friendly and helped us with a late check in at the phone. Its seems to be a very traditional hotel on the area. There are 2 supermarkets near by.
Cons: The check out time is too early for a family with a kid (10 AM) The parking area was too close to the rooms and it was a bit noisy in the morning. The breakfast was missing some more fresh fruits.
Pros: Breakfast was nice. The rooms are lovely "old-style"
Pros: Hotel is on good place.....Near have oll we nid...restoran,shoping center....
Pros: The Guesthouse is perfectly located between the City centre and some Supermarket. Ist quiet with a rural touch of roosters in the morning. Very nice staff, too.
Cons: the facility and furniture are slightly outdated but fair for the Price.
Pros: The bed was very comfy and for the price you get an appropriate amount of value. When we were welcomed we were rebooked from the guesthouse to the main hotel. The bathroom had everything needed and it was an overall good stay.
Cons: The smoke detector was very flashy in the night. Even with closed eyes you could sometimes see it flash. We were there the second christmas holiday and there was a big buffet going on with loud people and music until 10 or 11. The variety of breakfast was good, but we were missing fish a bit. No big deal, though.
