The location of the hotel was amazing. It sits right next to the Spokane river with a short walk to the river side park and downtown Spokane. The hotel has two swimming pools, an indoor and an outdoor with a waterslide-fun for the whole family. The quality of room was horrible. The room was tiny, in a hallway with construction going on and not at all comfortable. On top of all that the hotel charges an extra optional fee for parking!-That's right parking. I would have been much happier paying $10 more for a room with parking included than have it as an optional charge in my opinion. The bathroom was tiny to match the room and the towels were not clean-they had crusties on them. The bed was hard, not enough pillows and during the night the fitted sheet (that was too small) slipped off revealing the ripped, stained mattress below-disgusting to wake up laying on that! Overall, I dare say we will not be staying there again.
the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the pool to myself 2 mornings and it was well kept, nice jacuzzi. Cost of breakfast was a bit steep-a yogurt parfait and coffee was $11. The first night I stayed there it was really crowded and I could not find parking and had to come inside to the lobby to find out we had to park in a lot across the street. Was not a huge deal but it was so cold and windy and it was a long way to walk
Easy access to the park, spokane arena & restaurants .I luved walking the trails by the Spokane river, they were endless.
Great location with direct walking access to the park and downtown. The pool and restraunts within the hotel provided lots of entertainment. This hotel is already one of the more expensive options in town so I was disappointed to be asked to pay extra for parking at the hotel and then $12 per person for a breakfast buffet.
We enjoyed a swim and soak after arrival. In the morning it was nice to get out on the river trail for a stroll before breakfast.
Rooms were clean and well arranged. Location in proximity to Spokane Arena was great. No free breakfast!
Beds are very comfortable and location was great Felt like I was charged for every little thing. Staff acted like I was an inconvienance. I have stayed here before but will begin looking elsewhere.

Did not like having to pay for parking price is high enough to stay. So many other hotels near by do not charge for parking.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Red Lion. I was able to rest, relax, and enjoy the wonderful Riverfront Park which was a short walk from the hotel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing I can think of that may be nice is to have a place in the hotel where you could purchase late nite snacks. Microwave popcorn or a cookie would be a great addition to the coke and water machines. Also, paying to park in the hotel parking lot was a bit strange. I would be a little more accepting of this if valet parking was offered.

We chose this hotel because of the sky bridge right into the performing arts center. Pleasantly surprised at how nicely appointed it is. Also ate dinner at "13" which was very tasty. Very comfortable, striking views from the 16th floor over the Spokane River. Convenient to downtown attractions too. Would definitely stay again. All of the pillows were very soft and squishy down-like consistency. It would have been nice to have a couple of firmer pillows in the mix. No extra blanket in the room.
very new, nice, clean, high quality of workmanship, One might think that when you pay $200+ per night that you would get all the bells and whistles. My bride and I recently stayed there and felt that when you are a guest parking $17/day should be included. if you want to have a refrigerator brought to your room it is $10/day. I kinda felt like the human factor and personal touch was missing from our stay. Multiple employees knew we had just gotten married and none seemed to care. I had always heard of nice hotels doing sweet things for guests celebrating weddings or anniversaries, so maybe I had high hopes.
Nice bed and shower The last 2 times we have stayed here, the room has not been ready, By 6pm, it was pushing our 7o clock dinner reservations. Also in a suite, which comfortably fits 10 people, we were unable to have more than 4 people in the room.

I inadvertently reserved the wrong date yet the staff was exceptionally accommodating to keep us at the hotel the day we arrived. A lower rate was offered. There was no charge for the service dog. the dog received a complimentary travel bowl and treats. We received complimentary evening light fare and wine and the cost included an exceptional breakfast buffet. The room was clean, modern and quiet. Everything was marvelous!
We liked the location. The hotel itself was clean and the walking access to downtown Spokane and Riverfront park is fantastic. Even the complementary food and drinks were nice. The walls were very thin and the neighbor had a crying baby and toddler that drove us from our room. We understand it's the not the hotel's fault, but when we inquired about being moved to a different room we were met with some rudeness and told to "wait an hour or two" and that they would call the room and request them to quiet down. Good enough. However, the call never happened and the children did not quiet down. We inquired again at the front desk and were told they did not call the room and when we asked why not we again were met with a rude attitude. We left for dinner and returned to a fairly quiet room later that night. At 5:50 AM we were awoke by a phone call to our room phone. A gentleman introduced himself as "Charles from the front desk". He said a computer glitch had occurred and they needed to verify a number of occupants credit card info, we would just need to come to the front desk OR if we want, give him the info over the phone right then. We opted to go to the desk and he opted to hang up before we told him that. Later at the front desk we learned there was no "Charles" that work there. This room was targeted for credit card theft along a number of others and I wouldn't be surprised if he succeeded. We reported this to the front desk and were treated poorly a third time, however the manager did come out to talk to us and take all our info about the phone call and was a very nice person.
