Pros: The hotel looked new but it was a 3 star hotel with the price of a 5 star. Very expensive and it was very simple. I only stayed there because I really needed a hotel in that area but ---dollars it was too much!!!!!!
Cons: Annoyed to see a young man at breakfast only wearing socks and shorts, no shirt, just wrapped a blanket around his shoulders. He was a teen eating with another teen and I realize the hotel has no control over people’s clothing choices, but really, a “ no shoes, no shirt, no service” sign might be needed!
Pros: Very clean, well located, well kept and rooms very comfortable
Cons: Front desk person was not friendly at checkin late afternoon but all other staff were awesome. Front desk person on a.m. was very nice
Pros: Breakfast, comfy bed, comfy pillows, clean room. Nice, helpful staff.
Pros: Location was perfect for what we came here for! Close to the Guadalupe River!
Cons: I reserved a room with two queen beds but was put in a room with one queen and a pull out bed.
Pros: Very comfortable. Loved the breakfast!
Pros: Staff was extremely helpful and very nice.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable.
Pros: Everything was wonderful and everything you needed was with in walking distance awesome
Cons: Very nice place I’ll definitely go back! And very wonderful staff
Pros: Great location close to float the river. Clean and friendly staff.
Pros: Lovely facility. Clean
Pros: breakfast was excellent. lots of items to choose from. very satisfied
Cons: it would be an improvement if the mini refrigerator was stocked with bottled water .
Pros: Excellent breakfast, beautiful modern hotel, check out time (12) was superb.
Cons: Would’ve loved a hot tub and/or steam sauna. Hotel was a little pricey.

Pros: Room was great and up to date
Pros: Beautiful room right next to the lake. My girlfriend kept mentioning how beautifully the room was decorated. Mark was super nice.
Pros: The owners were kind, considerate and helpful. The room was cozy and welcoming
Pros: Everything Jennifer is great
Cons: Wasn't nothing I didn't like
Pros: The room was very clean. We enjoyed the peaceful area.
Pros: This was our first time staying at the Holiday Lodge and it did not disappoint. The owners are very nice and attentive. We stayed during the week, so it was quiet, relaxing, and very pleasant. And the location worked out great for us!
Pros: This place feels like home away from home. Love it will return! Rooms are so pretty! Clean! The deer are always outside your door to greet you lol so sweet
Pros: Lovely scenery with a view of the lake!
Located in Canyon Lake, Canyon Lakeview Resort is on the waterfront, within a 15-minute drive of Crane's Mill Park and Cranes Mill Marina. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Easy access to the cove, bon fire available, firewood replenished every morning , staff was very friendly.
Cons: We stayed in cathedral cabin B two years ago, when I booked for this year I was assuming we would get the same size cabin. Cabin F was smaller and didn’t have a bedroom door for privacy downstairs. We were never told it was smaller.
Pros: The upstairs lodge suite was very spacious for two. Plenty of animals to see and feed (animal food is provided by the owner!). Nice lake view from the shared porch. Many things to see and do in the closer area.
Cons: Unfortunately, there were our direct neighbors in the upstairs suite that were a little annoying. It was a couple that started drinking in the morning and was totally drunk in the evening. Since they were noisy it was not that much fun sitting on the porch in the otherwise beautiful evenings.
Pros: location to the lake was perfect, beautiful view of the lake. kid friendly.. the deer are just beautiful walking around the property..
Cons: nothing, great place for great price..
Pros: Good quiet getaway close to nature and pretty drive-able to other attractions like Safari, Caverns, Tubing etc
Pros: It’s a great location! Beautiful views and outside area around property. Lodge was a short walk to the lake were we spent most our time. Feeding the deer was a bonus!
Cons: The lodge room 7 we stayed in was clean but very run down. No storage space to put food. No shelves to set stuff. Plenty of empty walls to put up shelves. Stove was really old. We were already settled in by the second night I realized the oven didn’t work and I had casseroles to bake. The queen bed in bedroom was very uncomfortable and pillows were horrible. It is a beautiful place and although the price was high for the state of our lodge, I’d go back.
Pros: I liked the feeding of the deers, the closeness to the lake, and the volleyball court.
Cons: The wifi service didn't work and the kids were bummed out about that. They were looking forward to watching videos n playing online games but couldn't because wifi
Pros: The room, the view of the lake was beautiful, and all the wildlife is very calming and pretty
Cons: I loved everything
Pros: The view. The peace and quite. Feeding the deer. Beds were awesome!
Cons: Loved everything about it.
Pros: Everything, my kids love feeding the deers
Cons: I really didn’t enjoy the view as much cause the trees were covering most of it
Pros: Environment was great and the deer were friendly.
Cons: Not very user friendly. It’s like they don’t have the staff to take care of their guests. I wanted to know about other things to do in the area.

The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: On the lake with a view
Pros: What breakfast lol? Location was PERFECT!!!
Cons: The facility is showing it's age (windows/door frames leak heat into room)... But the water pressure's AMAZING! & room stayed cool with AC on full blast so I'm a happy camper.
Pros: Lovely view of Canyon Lake, the main Bed & sofa bed were surprisingly comfortable.
Cons: The fact that NO ONE has access to the Lodge’s Lobby area and made one feel welcome to the Lodge BUT unwelcome to actually go inside even if the rooms are outside. One can only look through the window to get a view of the Lobby. ONLY employees were allowed to be in there!
Pros: Scenery was breathtaking
Pros: Great beds great view we all love it here
Pros: The manager, John, was very responsive when i did have issues. If I had a boat, the stay would have been a little more tolerable.
Cons: Tight parking, A/C window unit not adequate to overcome heat and humidity of the entire room, had to go to office to get dry towels, cable went out on first night.
Pros: The lodge has a public boat ramp at the edge of their property. Very convenient if you have a boat. The lodge staff was extremely friendly. We will be staying there again when we go to canyon lake
Pros: We liked the View to the lake and birds singing all around. It was quite a restful place to get away from the city noise and hectic life The man at the office was very frendly and gave us good tips
Cons: Beds were a bit aged. Deco although renovated looks bit aged as well Despite our call to the Direction in the first evening, Wifi never worked. Saturday night , people partying around As any Motel, partitions are not noise proofed and we can hear neighbours even when they do not party.
Pros: The accommodations were very convenient to the boat ramp. Everybody on party was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Thank you !
With a stay at Still Water Ranch Condominiums LLC in Canyon Lake, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Jacob's Creek Park and North Park. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Just love the place, the view and the staff. The place very neat and tidy with wonderful beds. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again. The view was incredible.
Cons: One bathroom and no bathroom downstairs is the only negative. It was difficult for older couples.
Pros: The location & scenery were wonderful. The check-in was easy and the Brownings were nice. There were several locations for outdoor cooking at the condo.
Cons: I do not fault the condominium for my lack of reading how small the accommodations were. We had 6 adults and only one bathroom. That was my oversight I am sure. Although it says it will sleep 8 people, it is not roomy enough for the luggage that goes with those 8 people. With our 6 it was very tight.
Cons: Water had a bit of a sulphur smell.
Cons: The dishes were dirty, not dirty as in food on the dishes but dirty as in dusty like they had not been touched in a while. However the glasses that you drink out of had rings inside providing the appearance of being not properly washed. Other than that the cleanliness was as expected. The A/c has a lock on it and does not allow the occupant to lower the temperature past 72 degrees, we sleep comfortably at 68. The furniture has a very worn appearance and was not all that comfortable. The exterior of the building was not well-kept. I realize that we did not visit during a peek summer time and that there are still lingering leaves and things on the ground but that’s not my concern. My concern is more so the children’s play area, the volleyball court and the barbecue areas In the front of the property. The children’s Play scape area and the volleyball court which both have sand as the base had a extensive amount of grass that had grown up through the sand due to the lack of being maintained. The barbecue/family areas in the front of the property were covered in leaves and not very well-maintained. I will tell you the one thing that perturbed me the most is that we are a family of six and we were given a total of six towels and told that we could not request more towels until we had been there for four days. However we were offered to use the laundry facilities for an extra fee. I have never in my life stayed anywhere that I was told we were not allowed to request extra towels and I think it’s highly unacceptable to ask someone to use the same towel for five days in a row. The gentleman explained that it was due to laundry costs and that most hotels were doing the same thing however I have to disagree. Overall is a nice place and given a little maintenance to the family areas out front it would not be a bad weekend getaway. The only other thing I felt as a negative point is that the pictures lead you to believe that it is right on the water, it is not.
Pros: The beds, the view everything was awesome! Will definitely come back!!
Pros: The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave, and the condo was Soo beautiful.
Pros: Close to our grandkids and their parents! Great view of the lake from deck and veranda. Spacious shower downstairs in the bathroom. Owner's were very responsive to our one concern when we first arrived, and had it rectified by time we returned from dinner.
Cons: Wish there had been a bathroom upstairs where the bedrooms were.
Pros: Staff and the place it self was really great experience I’m already thinking about my next trip here!!!
Pros: The location was great. It was easy to find and central to all the spots we wanted to visit during our trip. And for the days we were not planning on going anywhere we could literally walk down to the lake. The staff was very nice the few times we were able to speak to them.
Cons: We were 5 people staying in the Condo staying for 5 days. There were 6 towels provided but whenever we wanted to use the laundry room it seemed there was no one in the office every time we checked so no one was able to unlock the doors to the laundry room. Also when we arrived we had to wash all dishes they were very dusty like no one had used them in a long time.
