Resourcefulness of staff & nice neighborhood Poorly marked access, the difficulty of find at night.
The staff was very friendly and provided excellent information on places to visit around this area. Breakfast was very good. Surrounding was beautiful. You really need a car if you stay at this hotel unless you are with a tour bus group. It is in the mountains and going downtown is only possible when driving.
The position and the general ambiance. The hotel mixed up my reservation and they gave my rooms to other guests (so, when I checked in they say "bu you are already here, I gave you the rooms ..."), and it took about half an hour to gave me the rooms (booked in April for August). The hotel is used mainly for groups and sometimes we, as a family, felt like strangers. For instance, for breakfast, all the tables were labeled with the guest names - but not ours and we were refused for dinner.
great location and view, clean and renovated rooms, nice staff
Really nice location, friendly staff.
Very scenic location. Lots of parking. The hotel is noisy in the evenings with conferences and functions going on.
Great view, beautiful landscapes, fresh air, free big parking, very nice and original style of interiour decoration, very friendly staff. Very remote. Slightly difficult to find it because the address is missreported: here it's reported as Aigen 23 or 32... and in reality it is in the very end of Rothelstein strase. Also, there were no soaps or shampoos in the room in the first place, but we got it only when we asked at the reception. There was also no warm water later at night or very early in the morning (i.e. midnight or 4 AM) or maybe we should have waited even more than 10 minutes for it to be warmed... No phone or wireless internet (at least we couldn't catch any internet signal).
This is one of the worset resort i have seen, food was not good as well as location and hotel building
The staff were excellent. The room was large and airy. The bathroom facilities were perfect and we had a balcony even though it looked out onto a brick wall. We chose this hotel because it said it had disabled facilites. You could not access this hotel other than by steps to the front door. We could not get to the outdoor swimming pool or gardens, too many steps, and the hotel is like a labyrinth. It has been extended extended and extended. There were no tea and coffee making facilities. No air con.
