very nice hotel, nice surrounding, just at ease
Beautiful room and facilities with a spa and restaurant. Located close to train station and the downtown area of shopping and touring.
parking, cleanliness, good restaurant no pool inside the hotel
The room are wonderful and very big
As a regular visitor on business by myself , I have a preference for Steigenberger. Always excellent service and friendly staff. This time I was with family for combined holiday/business trip and also for family it is a great hotel. Although no real kids facilities, the staff is very observant to a kid's needs by providing colouring books and pencils for dinner and lunch. The food was OK, but not so special. Steigenberger at Frankfurt Airport has a much better restaurant. Waiting for your drinks in the bar takes a little long as bar is not always occupied by staff.
The professionalism of the management and staff and the friendly approach to expatriates. Convenient location Difficult to criticise your performance
The location is excellent and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the room to an excellent standard!
Location, facilities Not really a five star hotel; more like 4 star
Easy location They first gav me a smoking room, but I refused it because I clearly reserved a non smoking room; then the only choice they gave me was a very small room with a small bed against the wall for the same price
Nice bar terrace area - good food
Did not have access to English language TV even after having complained
Excelent hotel, good price, good staff. Internet is not wifi. Your need to pay 8 euros per hour.
Pleasant atmosphere. Good price for the breakfast. Good temperature on the rooms, although it was warm. Very nice bathroom! The food in the restaurant was rather nice. The spa is nice. It's not 4 star in my book (rather 3), but the price is accordingly. I would like to see the bill before I pay, not get it in an envelope after paying. The whole hotel looked empty and the restaurant was deserted on Saturday evening (food was good though). Didn't see the solarium in the spa. Pay-TV didn't work and - apart from cnn/bbcw - no English tv.
The excellent hospitality
Parking, internet, clean, value for money, easy access, quite, 8km from downtown Rooms are smaller than expected, no coffee machine in tge room, provide only one bath towels, mini bar is very expensive, no complimentary water bottle in the room.
quietness and far away from the city noise had some but not really
Fine hotel, nice room and a good breakfast. Worth the 10,-- extra No bath in the room, wifi not free.
Very good fitness/leisure centre. Room was spacious and very quiet. Breakfast buffet was extensive and waitering staff were very good. Location (usually - see below) very good. Plumbing was of a surprisingly poor standard for such a brand new hotel; the bathroom floor was flooded on the first morning of our stay due to poor drainage and there was no curtain over the bath, meaning that taking a shower mean the room became flooded. What disappointed us most, though, was the fact that the Kurpark, which the details about the hotel had shown (correctly) as immediately adjacent to the hotel, was closed off and only accessible (at a cost of 14.00 Euros) as part of the Regional Garden Show running until October. This meant that one of the primary reasons we had chosen this hotel (its location) was much less in accordance with the actual situation than we had anticipated.
The Dolce is situated next to the park, is very quiet and has an excellent breakfast buffet. It is close to Frankfurt, so very easy to get there (40km by car)
The location near the park Distance to reception from frontentry too far
Very efficient, clean, good parking. Souless, but it was only 6 days before christmas.
Very nice location in the "Kurpark"
We loved the location and enjoyed the traditional style, architecture and feeling of the hotel. Pool was a nice bonus.
Breakfast was very good. Room was large although beds were low to the Ground. No Shampoo, conditioner, etc. Only a dispenser on the wall. Not to be compared to business amenities at the Hilton.
We had a very good overnightr stop at the Maritim and enjoyed our stay. Excellent Breakfast Buffet with very helpful staff. Secure parking in underground car-park (chargeable).
Location Tv channel were very limited, Internet should be supplied in the room as the hair dryer ( it is a must now), activities in the hotel were very limited ,
I have been staying at this hotel for the last ten years and I have always liked the hotel. It is in the centre and the view facing the park is exellent. No.
No sheets except fitted on mattress
Welcome and service to the hotel. Name change was very recent to Arcadia, so there was no sign outside the hotel. This will be fixed this week.
The room was spacious and most of the staff were friendly There was no hot water at night and therefore had to have a cold shower!
The staff at the front desk were super. Their attitude was cheerful and courteous and the help given re train schedules and calling for taxis was very much appreciated. It was too hot in the room - ceiling fans would have helped.
Air con not working and very poor breakfast.
The location is excellant and right on the edge of Hanau's shopping district. The train station is just a short ride away and from there Frankfurt airport is easily and quickly accessed The ac did not work in the room and it had to be 95f to 100f until well after dark. Also it is one of the few hotels where breakfast is extra and it is 15 e extra per person which is a lot of money for a buffet breakfast. It would be impossible in North America for instance to spend $30 anywhere for breakfast for two people. It should be included as that is normal in Germany . since te room price was good it was not a big deal but it is a pain just the same and an unnecessary one.
Breakfast was included even though we didn´t know that. And it was a good buffé. The rooms was large and clean. The staff was a bit confused when they were suposed to give us our keays when we came back after a day out in Hanau.
Rooms were ok Air conditioning didnt worked at all.
Clean , good size of room efficient checking in checking out Actually price is too high it should be the given price incl breakfast
The facility of taking Bus , near to the main train station. I stayed 6 nights , there was no hot water in the morning for 2 different days ; i called the reception but i realised that they were confused and they never gave me convincing answers!! I guess that hotel with 3* stars should not have such problems. Thank you for your comprehension!
the room was very hot, had to keep the door to the balcony fully opened
The hotel management were very cooperative and approach our needs. the location was excelent few minutes from the train station which took us 15 minutes to the fair ground. no.
Very comfortable room - Nice location - Parking in the hotel but also outside in the street (parcometers). Very good breakfast.
Big and nice room facing the beatiful park (a little noisy because of the street traffic). Good breakfast. The bed sheet and pillows covers were not changed at time.
The room was nice and comfortable. All hotel rooms have not air condition.
The quiet and the central location of the hotel.
Spacious & generally very quiet. Central location opposite park. Excellent breakfast which was served over a long period. Kitchenette Bedroom of Suite 114 directly above breakfast kitchen - noisy from 6.30 onwards. Kitchenette had no pans or utensils of any kind
Balcony was great; Breakfast was great
The service by the staff at the checking desk. For a small town, the area is very nice and a lot to do.
Supermarket "toom" is just nearby the hotel. Quite convenient to buy something no free wifi
They charged additional for breakfest!
A good centre for my needs and a very good breakfast
The room was perfect, a bed set up for our toddler and a crib for our infact on our arrival. Great price if you book early enough. Breakfast was quite expensive, 17 Euro per person, it was good food but didn't really warrant such a high price tag.
I liked the fact that is strategically located, close to the Taunus Valley and Frankfurt. Breakfast is rich, but expensive.
Value, location Staff not that friendly
the breakfast the diner was very bad
I thought the buffet breakfast at 15 euros was a bit expensive.
The room was comfortable. I had requested a non smoking room but the room on the second floor was for smokers and reeked of smoke even with the window open. I didn't find the staff very friendly.
Quiet hotel and good location
The restaurant was closed- we had a rather long way to go to find another!
Good service, easy parkingg, excellent breakfast, easy to find if you are driving. The third bed (additional) for a child was not comfortable.
Friendly personnel at the front desk
10 minute walk from the train station
The Hotel Rosenau is a very nice hotel, all rooms with good comfort, free internet in the rooms, nice warm bathrooms, good breakfast. Also the city is very nice with nice shops and good selection of restaurants, Parking area is too small.
Helpfullness of staff
Friendly staff and good location near shopping area No english TV or newspapers. Pillows very hard (foam) - I prefer soft pillows (feather).
Very friendly staff, hotel room is very clean... very high value for money
Very comfortable historical hotel in the center of the city
The hotel's germany traditional style and location (near to station) were good.
Hotel lies about Airport shuttle service, cost $100 to get to the airport, not worth it!
employees were extremely helpful and nice, i had a very nice room 201 with beautiful view of course the toilet in the middle of the room is not ideal
I didn't like the fact that there was a smelly dog lying in reception when I got there that refused to move. The receptionist - an aged gentleman wasn't very forthcoming with information or of any assistance, parking was horrendous. The 'shower room' was an after thought within the bedroom, which was little more than a trickle. I was kept awake by the television in the next room being too loud, and was woken at 5.45 once again by the tv next door!! All in all I would neither stay there again or recommmend the hotel.
This was one of the most pleasant places we stayed. The room was immaculate, Frau Siegsmund, the owner, was extremely accommodating. She even offered to go to town with me to help me buy presents for my daughters. The meals were good and the dining room let us eat even after we overslept .
kindness of staff see before
Historical very lovely guiet hotel with friendly staff . Good location.
We liked everything, there was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had,the hotel staff was very helpfull,we got very nice large apartment insted of double room for the same price,we would recommend this hotel
Reasonable and comfortable accommodation Not open 24 h a day
We had a corner room with lots of windows and a beautiful view.
Good clean nice hotel. Close to train station easy conveyance. Very near to a famous Club- Oase.
Great service by the staff, nice breakfast in the morning. a little hard to find at night, even though GPS led me right there and I called the hotel from behind the hotel.
Everything was good nothing
Good spacious and well equiped rooms. Clean and functional. Friendly staff. Good location to stop over to and from Frankfurt. Better directions to and from motorway
The cleanliness of the room the facilities in the room and the lovely breakfast Nothing
The hotel is very clean and greatly positioned - close to the S-Bahn station. Breakfast was very good. In the room we also have a small kitchen (did not use it too much but it gives further opportunities re eating).
Spacious room in quiet location with a very freindly staff for a great price! Convenient to the spas and downtown...etc. We will return again. none
No unpleasant surprises. very good bed. The neighbour had the TV on most of the night - not much to do about it
very friendly staff, next to kurpark and city.
Receptionnist very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and large which is not European standard. Usually in Europe, hotel rooms are very small, but in this hotel I was very satisfied with room and receptionist. Also breakfast was very nice. Price is a bit higher than other hotels around but it's worth of it
i was unexpectedly upgraded to a suite, which was very comfortable. Rooms are quite spacious in comparison with many German hotels. Also, the combination of both shower and bathtub was exceptional. Small and high window (I am a short person!) gave me no view of outside.
The staff knew exactly whom we were and were very helpful.
central situation, nice staff, good bathroom, good breakfast uneven floors (easy to trip), would have liked an indoor swimmingpool
Extreme noise during the night hours due to local traffic on the street side of the building.
Excellent, helpful staff
The bed was very comfortable, room was also very clean. but was situated in a building next to the main hotel and there was a strange smell in the corridors room was situated in a building next to the main hotel and there was a strange smell in the corridors
The staff was very friendly - we arrived very late (3am) after being stuck in a terrible traffic jam, but received a friendly welcome and were allowed a later checkout time. The room was large, very stylish (a 19th century feel), comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent (though quite expensive at 17 euros pp). We chose this hotel because it had airco, which was important because our dog has a heart condition and needs airco in hot weather - unfortunately, the airco in our room was very weak and insufficient.
Everything was fine.
The setting was lovely. This stop over was in conjunction with a Family Reunion and our visit to Oberswein on Sunday for a church service. The dinner and breakfast were delightful. Your wait staff is charming. The night desk clerk had difficulty is locating our reservation for two rooms and the morning clerk had issues on check out caused by the check in process. It was, however, handled well. Thank you.
The cleanliness of the hotel and quiet place. The mattresses were not very comfortable.
Extremly friendly and helpful staff bed could have been a little more comfortable
We stayed in the apartment and it was really lovely, comfortable, quiet, and right on one of the main squares. There were many little extras in the room, design-wise. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We didn't realize that none of the rooms are equipped with a separate bedroom. We were traveling with a baby and wanted to be able to put her in a separate bedroom earlier in the evening. Although the hotel doesn't have parking, there was a city lot a couple of blocks away that only cost 12 euros overnight.
Very smartly refurbished and modern rooms, large bathroom and great breakfast. High recommendations.
We had a great apartman with little kitchen, the beds were separated which bothered us at first but the matraces were fantastic. Location right in the historic city center. It was VERY hard to find parking close to the hotel and in addition there was some festival and therefore it was forbidden to go close to the hotel with car at all. Also we werent informed that we had to pay extra for breakfast and at the end we had to pay additional 10 EUR per person per night for it.
Very clean, good breakfast choice, very new, very comfortable, convenient location for exploring, not too big so as to be impersonal, all together a lovely hotel No complaints at all
Tonya at the front desk was a star employee, she helped us out many times in our short stay. The restaurant up the road from the hotel on the left side had great food but are closed on Mondays.
The breakfast was really good, the staff spoke very good english The only thing was the dinning hall was not open over the period that we stayed. Also the tv was only in german except for news chanels.
The hotel has been tastfully redecorated recently. The rooms are large and comfortable. From the breakfast room, the view of the park and pond is splendid. Furnitures and fittings are high quality. It has the feel of an aristocratic home rather than a hotel. You do feel like guests on the grace of the owners, who stay on the property.
