I stay here regularly on my way between Atlanta and NYC. The hotel is comfortable although not luxurious, but the location is excellent. Shops, restaurants and the Shakespeare theater are all a short walk away.
Friendly staff, in walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops
Food was good. Staff very friendly. TV didn't work. Bathroom needs renovation.
Building has lots of charm and character. Owner did mean well and cares about guests. She is very friendly. Hair in bathtub; dust in corners and under bed; dead and live bugs in room.
Very clean. Beautiful house. Friendly staff. Breakfast was Great! Parking is up a steep gravel hill. We arrived on a motorcycle and it was a little tricky. No problem for a car.
This place was quaint and an easy walk from there into town. The owner was very nice and breakfast was lovely. The bathroom was updated and I enjoyed having a robe provided since it was a shared bath. The room showed 2 single beds online but was a double bed when checking in. The room was much colder than the rest of the house. The cheap wrapped soaps and plastic-wrapped plastic cups in the bathroom took away from the ambiance of the place.
Gracious owner - lovely porch for sitting. Wonderful breakfast. Beautifully decorated - it deserves an article in "Southern Living"! Lots of stairs - two small flights just to get to the entrance. Rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors - so would be difficult for anyone with walking problems. Otherwise great place in an interesting town.
