Pros: Welcoming staff. Cosy.
Cons: Toilet seat needed securing. Reading lamp needle in bedroom. Storage could be better in room.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff fantastic food great atmosphere.
Pros: Attitude of the staff was very friendly food was excellent and the place felt very homely in a beautiful setting.
Pros: Friendly & relaxed
Pros: Friendly staff. Excellent food - both supper and breakfast. Room had bath and shower- great for walkers to have a soak in.
Pros: Nice village location Friendly staff (and dog Ruby!) Breakfast was good too
Pros: Location staff and accommodation very good but mix up regarding the cost due to the breakfast already paid for on the booking but charged again on arrival.
Cons: Just the booking mix up.
Pros: The room was bright and clean and the full English breakfast was lovely. Because of the event we were attending the owners served breakfast earlier. Fantastic shower! So close to Newcastle. The trains into Newcastle are frequent and it's a short walk to the station.
Cons: The room was a little on the small side. There was a light right outside our window (fixed to the outside of the pub) so the room wasn't dark at all at night time. Blackout curtains would be a good idea. The dividing wall to the room next door is paper thin so TV noise and conversations can be heard very clearly.
With a stay at Dilston Mill in Corbridge, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Northumberland National Park and Corbridge Roman Site. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location beautiful good to have breakfast brought to room this was good
Cons: Bed a bit uncomfortable no TV in room & no microwave as self catering option this would be a bonus.
Pros: Close to Corbridge this delightful B&B is in a wonderful location on a bend of the Devil’s Water where the river passes over rock slabs making an interesting feature. This old corn mill has a beautiful garden and is at the point of an ancient aqueduct which crossed the river, the remains of which are still visible. Breakfast was served in our room which was bright and spacious with an en-suite bathroom and separate shower. An excellent bus service passes the end of the road, just a few minutes walk away and the railway station is just a mile away. Susan was tremendously helpful and charming and if we are in the area again we will definitely stay here again.
Pros: Excellent location and lovely grounds . Spotless throughout . Susan was a good host however we personally prefer a hotel b&b where the service is a little less personal
Cons: Fridge little noisy at night .
Pros: Rooms were comfortable and with lovely views. Bed was soft and comfortable. Shower room clean and sufficient for us. Breakfasts were excellent with good service. Tea and coffee all provided.

Pros: The staff... really friendly, nothing was a problem... gave us the run of the place... Highly recommend
Pros: My partner and I recently stayed at the boat house for the great north run and would most certainly recommend this wonderful place to stay. The staff were more than helpful and really friendly. We had a lovely chat about the area with the two lovely staff who worked behind the bar and also spoke to some lovely locals who helped us by telling us how to get into Newcastle and the directions we should head to. Although the place is a lively pub it quietens down around 11.30 we’re the rooms are comfortable and cosy. The shared bathroom and kitchen was also lovely and clean and the place beat every expectation. We will be returning :)
Pros: N/A, but there was milk, bread and cereals freely available in the communal kitchen area
Pros: We found the accommodation very nice.
Cons: We could not get a meal / snack at the Boathouse when we arrived, we could have gone to other pubs in the village.
Pros: The Location.
Cons: The Communal Bathroom.
Pros: This property is a basic room above a bustling pub. We didn't have time to drink there but they have a great range of beers and a traditional atmosphere. We had a room with an ensuite and access to a kitchen with some breakfast items, which was handy. It was very clean.
Cons: This was the first time I've stayed in a booking.com room that I thought was waaaaaay overrated in the reviews. It's 'good' but definitely not 'fabulous'! The poor woman on duty was run off her feet and had to leave the bar to show us upstairs to the room. When we stepped into the room, the first thing we noticed was that it was swarming with midges. The window had been left open (which was good because it was stinking hot) and the midges came in their hundreds (which was bad because midges bite) because one of the pub's external lights is right next to the window. Anyway, thankfully midges aren't quick and after an hour or so we had dispensed with the majority of them. As we had to close the window to prevent any more beasties getting in, we asked the staff member in the bar whether there was a fan we could use in the stifling room. They didn't have one, so we spent two uncomfortably hot nights there.
Pros: Nice location, very friendly staff
Cons: Smelt a bit of damp in the bedroom.
Pros: Location and views of river were spot on. Refreshments from pub were ace.
Cons: Could have done with a cooked breakfast served up.
Pros: Good easy self service breakfast!

Pros: Large bedroom ("Osprey") with sofa and a very comfortable mattress. Minor suggestion would be to have a full length mirror. Very friendly staff and pub. Excellent cooked breakfast.
Pros: Outstanding breakfast. Very helpful staff, we had bikes with us and they accommodated us brilliantly.
Cons: Wainwright beer was a degree or 2 too cold for my liking, but that is being very picky
Pros: Excellent evening meal, very friendly staff.
Pros: Staff were very friendly. Food very good. Good location.
Cons: Room not serviced till evening.
Pros: excellent value for money and good food
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Cold room. No way to turn on heating. Breakfast was average.
Pros: good friendly staff & good beer. Very flexible & allowed us to leave our cars there for 3 days whilst we walked Hadrian's wall.
Cons: Position a little bit out of town but not a major problem.
Pros: Quiet at closing time, great breakfast. Easy walk into town and good parking.
Cons: Nothing it was great
Pros: Great atmosphere / service and attention to detail
Cons: All good

Pros: The friendly staff and value for money abive a pleasant village tavern
Cons: All fine
Pros: Excellent location for our needs. Rooms pleasant, clean and tidy. Fridge and cooking facilities handy for staying in a small village with no late night take away options.
Cons: Checking in is very difficult as the place does not open until late afternoon, and we found no-one on site to even allow us to drop off the bags. Proprietor was friendly enough and DID return our voicemails...
Cons: Dirty, scruffy, saggy bed, noisy & very expensive
