6.3 Good
Pros: Clean and pleasant setting. Standard breakfast.
Cons: The welcome we received was almost as cool as the snow storm we arrived in. Check out was just as cheerless. Almost felt like the fox in the henhouse :( 1 coffee, 1 teabag and 2 sugars between 2 people ... couldn't sit up in bed to drink it anyway because of the low sloping roof and nothing to pad the strange shelf structure at the head of the bed. Not the most comfortable place to stay.
9.6 Excellent

Pros: A little bit hard to find but it was a great hotel, nice room, good breakfast.
Cons: the bathroom door was small very hard to close door , literally had to climb in shower to swing door close, but was a nice place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the hostess was a very friendly lady who doesn't speak a lot of English. I managed some simple conversation with my broken Spanish. Things went on smoothly. We had good dinner, followed by an abundant breakfast. We were told there via email that there was a free horse rental which made us quite exited, although unfortunately it rains badly at the time we arrived, so no caballeros for us. Nevertheless, it was a very happy stay in the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff here was very nice the hotel is a bit of a detour but it is nice to Be away from the highway. The food was very good and the use of jacuzzi and sauna onsite was awesome.
Cons: It was advertised to have a gym but it was unavailable at the time we went
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staffs.
Cons: Not at all.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist although speaks minimal English was very helpful. We checked in an hour later than estimated due to a road closure on highway 1, she didn't make a fuss about us coming in late, was very helpful nevertheless. We requested for early check out the next day and packed small breakfast, she got the breakfast ready on time. Was very accomodative and helpful through our short stay. The hot tub was amazing, exactly what we needed at the end of a long day. The chalet was a decent size and fully equipped. Was a really good option for those traveling from South to north on the ring road and Vise versa. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Great option.
Cons: One of the 2 lights in the chalet was not working, couple power point in the chalet were not working.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious. We stayed in one of the cabins in the back which we loved!
Cons: We had an electrical issue but the staff responded very quickly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a conference on so they upgraded us to a chalet which was really nice. Spa pool was nice and clean and breakfast was really good with lots of variety. Really pretty location.

Pros: Great place, with simple, but very clean and cosy rooms. The greatest at Saxa was the personel - friendly, easy going, ready the answer any questions and help you with anything. Amazing views.
Cons: The is no self-service kitchen. Next to the rooms you have only a kettle and mugs. Still you can ask for anything you need at the reception/restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location with fjord and mountain view from the restaurant. It’s a little but very cozy town and all you need you can get from the super friendly hosts at Saxa. We had great dinner with Gulasch soup and the fish of the day. Both were lovely. Very nice breakfast buffet in the morning with very tasty freshly baked bread. Nice and clean rooms with own bath room. Great beds! Can only recommend a stay at Saxa Guesthouse if you are visiting the south-east corner of Iceland.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful lodge and location! Loved the decor. Great breakfast! Comfortable room and great bathroom!
Cons: Nothing other than we would have liked to stay there longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was a delight and decorated tastefully in fishing memorabilia. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet and safe, and the owner was very friendly. We talked fishing and he was very helpful with travel and local culture information. Breakfast was excellent and we were offered eggs and bacon, which doesn't seem to be common elsewhere in Iceland. AAA+++
Cons: Nothing
4.6 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: We were made to feel unwelcome as we weren't interested in fishing. The breakfast was truly awful.....we had to clear up the mess left by the fishing visitors before we could eat. Dinner was only available at 10pm after the fishing had finished. The bedroom was tiny.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The lodge's small size allowed it to feel very personal. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and all our requests were handled quickly and efficiently. Our special request for dinner (sent by e-mail to the owner prior to arrival) was accommodated and we had a wonderful meal. Breakfast was great as well.
Cons: While the prices for accommodation here are high, they are actually about standard for Iceland. Bring your own beer, as their selection is minimal. Dining selections in the vicinity appear to be few and far between, so try to book dinner with the lodge in advance if you can.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic in a beautiful room with trophies on the wall; a unique ambiance.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Really nice and cosy location in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for couples. Very yummy breakfast included. Drawbacks: no restuarnts nearby, no restaurant at the location, no daily cleaning service (considering the price, it should have been!).
Cons: no daily cleaning service no possibility to have dinner there
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All was perfect
Cons: Price is little bit high
