5.4 Okay
Pros: It’s a beautiful house with lovely antique furniture
Cons: The breakfast staff were very unfriendly and gave the impression they had just started working there.. breakfasts were nice but there’s no place for shop bought frozen hash browns. Make home made or leave them out altogether.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, friendliness of staff, welcome drink, room with charming outside balcony.
Cons: Possible problem parking the car on our second day as all the hotel's allotted spaces taken for that night's guests. As it happened we were able to get an off street park place but otherwise it would have been very inconvenient. Very high first outside step - difficult as I have a slight disability. No light over mirror in bathroom. Kleenex would have been welcome.

Pros: Superb place to stay right in the centre of Cheltenham. We stayed in a garden room. Beautiful shower room. very clean, lovely toileteries. There was a coffee machine in the room plus kettle, fridge and snacks. There was also a welcome gin and tonic in the lounge. The breakfast was excellent. There is a lovely garden terrace with seating if the weather is good. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Welcome drink was a pleasant surprise. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and settings. Stunning room. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay here. Would highly recommend
Cons: There was nothing we loved our stay here. Only thing we couldn’t find was milk for the tea in the room but apart from that we couldn’t fault this place it was lovely
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. A fantastic stay in a lovely location and beautiful place. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation particularly if you require dog friendly services.
Cons: It was a perfect holiday. I would highly recommend this accommodation and location particularly if you need dog friendly facilities. Our only problem was paying as booking. Com had not updated our booking and payment as we had requested a dog friendly room. The staff were lovely and we managed to resolve the problem. But it did leave us and the staff a little embarrassed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing! I thought it was really good value for money and I would definitely stay again, and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in that area. I also hadn't been sure how easy it would be to get to my meeting in the morning which was in the centre around 6 miles away, but it only took 10 minutes as it is pretty much just down a couple of A roads.
Cons: If I had to give a bit of constructive feedback I would say there wasn't many TV channels only the different BBC one's. As I was staying one night before a business meeting and didn't have any plans in the evening, I would have like to be able to watch a bit of TV. I would have also like a dressing gown and some slippers, but that's probably just a personal preference.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice cozy and very quiet place, very clean and friendly stuff ! 100% recommended
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very cosy and comfortable with a great shower. The old traditional style pub was great with big open fires and really emphasised the warm welcoming atmosphere. The food we had for dinner and then the next mornings breakfast was plentiful and and very tasty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were lovely and nothing was to much for them. And will return there next year as the rooms were spotless and it was just a lovely relaxing place to be.
Cons: Honestly can’t fault anything.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was quiet comfortable would have appreciated a sofa or chairs in the bedroom to relax instead of sitting on the bed.
6.7 Good
Pros: Loved the lounge, breakfast and the staff were excellent.
Cons: I had a room on the front and it was very noisy, lots of ambulance sirens through the night. Curtains in the room didn’t close fully so wasn’t dark and they were filthy. There was no food on offer either room service or restaurant as it is shut on Sunday and Monday, would have been good to know this at time of booking. Couldn’t park onsite as only 5 spaces so had to drop kids off and go and find a spot on side roads, raining hard, again would have been good to know.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing..
Cons: Worn carpets and chipped furniture, marked and scuffed walls and cracked bathroom tiles. Non working TV and intermittent working kettle in room. Staff disinterested, rude and unhelpful..
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quirky style which is different to standard hotels. There is no formal reception area which is unusual but refreshing. There are not many rooms so has a more homely feel with the stay. Staff were always to hand and very helpful. Room was grand style; high ceilings, sash windows, wooden flooring. Location was perfect - 5 minute walk to centre but in an upmarket residential area.
Cons: Unnecessary to have roll top bath in bedroom. No seats to relax on other than sitting on the bed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very polite and helped when ever asked. The location was a small walk into the centre. They have some lovely sister companies that they booked a table for us that we visited on the way back.
Cons: Missing towels when we arrived, but quickly corrected. Also a few cob webs in the room that my wife made me get.

6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel and gardens were great not over styled, fresh flowers. The lounge and bar were good places to sit and have a drink. The seating area to the front of the hotel is lovely to sit (if the weather is good)
Cons: The food, the dinner menu did not include vegetarian, and is trying too hard which results in some poor sauces and flavours. The food was also not hot. Service was slow .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The personal touches...…..the plant, chocolates, biscuits, gin and hand written welcoming note. We had a wonderful dinner and a lovely breakfast. We enjoyed a walk in the grounds that lead to the church next door and the beautiful village.
Cons: Our dinner side orders were missed. We did point this out at the time and the waiter who took our order in the lounge came to our table to apologise. A cheese course was offered as compensation which was much appreciated and much enjoyed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location in the centre of the Cotswolds, the staff were all very friendly, excellent wine list, the bed was really, really comfortable. They set a high standard, but you only need to check the other hotels that they own to know they are in good company.

7.9 Good
Pros: Delicious food, excellent service and British manor style decoration with an exquisite garden.
Cons: The room has some smell。
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choices. As, I might say, were the evening meals and room service. All staff members were very polite and helpful. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by a well maintained relaxing and interesting garden. We particularly enjoyed the herb garden. The local area offers pleasant country walks, which we enjoyed.
Cons: There was nothing that either myself or my wife disliked.
9.0 Excellent

Cons: No room service after 9:00 PM
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great quiet location. Staff was very pleasant . We enjoyed our stay very much.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for a quiet get away in the Cotswolds, there are some great walks you can do from the hotel which is in a picture-perfect setting. The gardens are simply beautiful and we enjoyed exploring them. There are benches and a nice seating area at the front garden - a great spot for cream tea, although they had run out of scones when we arrived :( The bed was super comfy and the hotel décor is stylish & classy. Also nice use of space inside with several areas that had comfy sofas for sitting/reading/playing games etc. The welcome note to say Happy Anniversary and dog bed/food/treats/bowl etc in our room on arrival was a lovely touch. The evening food was delicious, good wine selection & friendly staff.
Cons: Our room on the ground floor was very hot and even with both windows open it was hard to keep it cool. The shower screen did a very bad job of keeping water off the floor - and you could see that it's been an ongoing issue as the wooden bath panel has started to peel quite badly. This meant that the floor got flooded after every shower unless you were REALLY careful - something that could easily be fixed (also might not be the case in the other rooms) The service was always friendly and welcoming but a little bit lacking in certain areas - we ordered a drink on the lawn and would have liked another but the waiter never came back to check on us, the same happened in the bar that evening. The lack of music in the bar made it feel a little awkward. Just some classy piano music or something subtle in the background would create a much better ambience. The cocktails in the bar were very disappointing - really lacking in creativity and taste and poorly presented. If you are going to have a cocktail menu and charge £14 each... make sure they are good! Overall I would definitely go back and 100% recommend it to others, but there are some small tweaks that could be made to make it even more special.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely loved the service, the food, garden, and overall ambience. Impeccable.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: Rather dark room with no real view of the gardens

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff members at Lords of the Manor were outstanding as they attended to every detail with a cordial and pleasant manor. Our room was lovely, the countryside was beautiful and we hope to visit again
Cons: I wish I could help you but everything was perfect

Pros: Breakfast and breakfast staff
Cons: Extremely stained bedcover
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel in a nice location next to Pittville Park and close to the Brewery Quarter. It's in a central location within walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. I booked this place as I had to attend a hospital appointment and was expecting to stay in the budget room but was pleasantly surprised that I had been upgraded to the standard double with ensuite. The room was very nicely decorated and the king size bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and a generous portion of the full English, too much for me to eat it all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would love to stay here again and definitely recommend it.
Cons: There is nothing I didn't like. I'm going to be in Cheltenham again soon but unfortunately the price for a room at the Townhouse for my next stay was above my budget and I had to book elsewhere. Otherwise I would have booked again.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was quite nice--very walkable. Overall, the room was comfortable. Breakfast was really nice, but it would've been nice to have a croissant available. The staff was extremely friendly.
Cons: There was no top sheet or lighter blanket available. No wash cloths were provided. Although, there was room for an extra piece of furniture in the bathroom, there was no place to spread out our toiletries kit. There was no hook for our clothes or towels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The main townhouse is beautiful and impeccably presented. We checked in and then made our way over to the apartments, a short walk away. Very clear directions were given at check in. Our apartment was lovely. Clean, well presented and had everything we needed.
Cons: Nothing. It was all lovely and great value.
7.1 Good
Pros: Clean and comfortable Great breakfast
Cons: We were in a basement apartment. Had to walk 10mins for breakfast and had no communal areas. Lacked atmosphere- the main house seemed jolly and lively. We felt a bit out of it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and very good breakfast. Reception very helpful and pleasant.
Cons: Quite a high climb to get into shower!

Cons: Having to leave.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful luxury hotel with amazing spa. I book the facial and body massage . It was very comfortable. Nice and friendly staff, delicious free breakfast with garden view. I and my husband really enjoyed our holiday.
Cons: The only thing was the bed mattress was soft. It was not firm enough to support my back.
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good and the hotel is in a lovely setting. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: It was over priced. The room was a little tired with some decoration that needed touching up. The furniture was old, dark and a little tatty. The bathroom needed the grouting and sealing renewing, an easy fix but makes such a difference I am amazed hotels do not do this regularly. The dining room is tasteless. Plastic light fittings and curtain rods!! The menu needs serious thought if they are to get people to eat here. We looked at the menu and headed into Cheltenham where we found Petite CoCo an amazing, brilliant, fantastic French Bistro full of atmosphere and great food.

Pros: Colesbourne Inn is a historic property that has been fully modernized. The lodging is in a building adjacent to the pub, which is corporately owned by an English brewery. Everything was clean, neat and efficient. The room and bath in particular were excellent. The Inn is on an A road just outside of Cirencester, and just minutes away from Cowley Manor, where we went for a splendid afternoon tea and walk around the gardens.
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: The room was both beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast was really delicious.
Cons: I was given misleading information on arrival about the local taxi firms. At 8am on the morning of my departure I asked a member of staff to ring me a taxi and was told "you'll be lucky at this hour; you should've booked it last night", as if it was my fault. In the event he did manage to get me a car and I caught my train with two or three minutes to spare. It could have ruined my day, though.

Pros: Lovely location. The staff are very helpful and professional. Excellent breakfast and restaurant.
Cons: The hotel has got a 5 * rating. However our room (Walpole) did not have a full length mirror!! Definitely not 5 * ! Shower very poor and water lukewarm. The room is up a treacherous flight of stairs. Very risky going to the bathroom at night as one has to walk across the hallway at the top of the stairs. Hugely overpriced for facilities. The room was very warm and the small table fan provided was broken.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our basic double room turned out to be a two-story suite (living room downstairs, bed and bath upstairs). Very comfortable and quiet, with very nice appointments.
Cons: The food at dinner wasn't anything special, and the staff seem somewhat young and indifferent. But breakfasts were good and the dining room pleasant (but a somewhat indifferent decor).

Cons: The immediate bar area could be a little more convivial..but this is only a comment not a complaint

Pros: We stayed here so that we could attend a function at the Racecourse, have to say its a lovely friendly hotel. The staff are really accommodating and welcoming. The hotel is really clean and modern, but retaining an old fashioned charm. The room was huge, and the shower was amazing in morning. We had Eggs Benedict and a Traditional Breakfast, and the poached eggs were the best!!!
Cons: Nothing really, the only slight down side;- we were located on the top floor, and after a couple of drinks and a night of dancing the stairs were a little daunting.

5.4 Okay
Pros: The shower was good Plenty of tea n coffee
Cons: Staff where a bit all over the place stopping me in mid sentence to answer the phone then just walking off Asking me to pay when I already had Room was very warm and the double bed was two singles pushed together which made for uncomfortable sleeping The staff where very noisy around 11:30pm banging the bins and shouting to each other The massive pile of building waste out the back was a eyesore the beer garden was a forest
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The overall welcome was so friendly by all staff, our room was lovely clean and spacious. The evening meal was superb great sized portions and very tasty.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location is quiet even though you can see the trains going past.
Cons: Arrived early evening but had to wait a short while for the room to be prepared. The ceiling light had exposed wiring, the bathroom door did not fully shut and there was no wifi in the room. The windows are very small, so not much natural light or ventilation on a hot evening but that is down to the architecture. I asked for shower gel and was told there wasn't any.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s extremely friendly place to stay. The family room is excellent value for 5 of us and the breakfasts were EPIC!! X
Cons: That we were only staying for 1 night. X

Pros: Really comfortable beds, beautiful bedroom, plenty of windows for fresh air, bar and restaurant on site. Fresh cooked breakfast with cereal, toast and juice. Excellent value for money.
Cons: This was overall an excellent stay, only very minor points was that the toilet seat was loose and pinched when seated. This wasn't mentioned on site as we arrived late and when we left the room the following morning we had breakfast and left and forgot. Breakfast whilst fresh cooked was extremely slow.

Pros: Loads of free car parking Pleasant grounds and local walks The check in process was smooth Room comfortable and warm Good shower Good breakfast
Cons: No complaints at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This places is within easy reach of Stonehouse Railway station I was greeted very well (and politely) on arrival quite late (just before 0800 PM on Saturday 28th September 2019) Everything was explained, and the room was number 24. Room was clean and in in the new wing Breakfast normally served between 0800 and 1000 on Saturday and Sunday and 0700 to 0900 Monday to Friday - not too sure about bank holidays so this will need clarifying if you are staying then) I needed to be somewhere by 0800 on the Sunday so a light breakfast was available for me - arranged on arrival Great to see their green policies put in place and made easier for staff with hessian bags in the rooms for papers, bottles and cans Reasonable sized bathroom Green policy carried on if you do not want you room cleaned if you are staying for more than one night
Cons: Kettle hidden in the wardrobe and did not find it until the 2nd night Earlier breakfasts as a rule on a weekend - people sometimes do like an earlier start if the weather is good or need to go out for the day or have a fair distance to travel
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Awkward stairs
4.6 Okay
Pros: Able to put the rugby on
Cons: The room was very tried not very clean and looked grubby. One of the windows did not close, the toilet flush was very poor, had to have the batteries replaced in the TV remote and the boiler made a terrible noise. Was told by the night porter that the noise would stop at 11.30, it did not and after we complained as did others who were also staying the porter had to switch it off, the noise stopped at midnight. The following morning went down for breakfast and was told the gas was off in the kitchen so a full English was only available as it could be cooked in the oven...... very disappointed in our stay
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The Breakfast was very poor and served cold. Order was wrong. More option of breakfast availability. The staff were inattentive. The bedding was cheap.
7.9 Good

7.5 Good
Pros: it was a very nice place, I wish there was a fridge in the room
Cons: food, very limited menu, and the breakfast was very poor
5.0 Okay
Pros: Lovely gardens, nice quiet location
Cons: Bedroom sited under boiler room, woken repeatedly through the night due to water hammer- not even an apology from management. Bathroom tiles cracked. Shower a useless trickle.
