Set in Suèvres, La Bergerie offers accommodation with an outdoor pool, free WiFi, a restaurant and free bikes. The bed and breakfast offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free toiletries and shower. La Bergerie offers a continental or buffet breakfast. The accommodation offers a sun terrace. Guests can also relax in the garden or in the shared lounge area. Blois is 16 km from La Bergerie, while Vendôme is 47 km away. The nearest airport is Tours Val de Loire Airport, 74 km from the bed and breakfast.
Pros: We dined at the Bergerie and the food was fantastic. It was like we had our own French chef and waitress to tend to us and serve us as honoured guests. We felt privileged to eat such good food. Portions and quality of the food on offer was generous. The setting was also much more interesting than the average restaurant - The Bergerie is an rambling old, rustic building in the countryside and there is a huge barn like room with a vaulted ceiling and oak beams, in which the hosts occasionally cater for parties. It was both comfortable and interesting. The garden and outside of the building were also rustic and beautiful.
Cons: We stayed in the Zen room, which was comfortable enough but not really my thing. Other guests had got there before us and had the Rustic and the Romantic rooms.
Pros: Very friendly Hosts who were most attentive
Cons: All good
Pros: we felled spoiled by Carole and her husband. stay was more than excellent
Pros: Beautiful place to stay in peaceful environment, beautiful scenery and the owners are very nice and welcoming. When you stay here please also stay for dinner, Claude is an excellent chef de cuisine. The dinner was perfect, we enjoyed everything from the nice food to the nice conversation in French English with the hosts. Thank you, we will come back!
Pros: this is a lovely chambre d'hote in the middle of the countryside - great for us as we had dogs to walk - very peaceful. The hosts are very welcoming. The room was modern, although in an old building, with a good bathroom/shower. We slept well. Car parking is very secure - entry via controlled gate. The food was cooked by the host and was tasty. Value for money and we shall return if passing this way again!
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Pros: Very warm welcome, country Inn with character in a beautiful location, truly La France Profonde. Lovely evening meal served, one of the nicest I had during 8 days in France, my compliments to Claude. There was a peaceful ambiance to the property and conviviality with the other guests who made every effort to speak to me in English. Will remember sitting out in courtyard and garden enjoying the late evening sun, a drink and good conversation with Carole, Claude and all the other guests. Hope to return, highly recommended.
Pros: The place is beautiful, friendly staff and delicious breakfast!
Pros: This was easily the treasure of all the places I’ve stayed in the last weeks whilst cycle touring in France. The property is just 2 pleasant kms along lanes from the velo-Loire. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, I was made to feel so incredibly welcome by hosts who clearly enjoy meeting people from around the world. A delicious dinner (I was invited to a family celebration) and a copious breakfast, together with comfortable quiet room, made this a stay to remember. Simply delightful true French hospitality.
Located in Chambord, Relais de Chambord is on a river, a 2-minute drive from Château de Chambord and 13 minutes from Chateau de Villesavin. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Love the location, you couldn't do better than having your own spectacular chateau a few minutes walk away. The restaurant is excellent, top quality cooking with a good wine list (we bought a couple of cases from the shop next door we liked it so much!). Like the overall design which mixes contemporary with some nice old touches. Everywhere as spotless.
Cons: No A/C! This is a brand new hotel and the temperatures in the region regularly top 35 degrees. It was so hot and stuffy and adding a trendy Dyson fan into the room doesn't really do it for me. I didn't sleep well despite the comfy bed. Check-in wasn't great, we were given the wrong (inferior) room but complained about how small it was only to be told we should have been in a suite on a different floor. They were apologetic but never happened to me before in a quality hotel.
Pros: Location is just next to Chateau Chombard and the restaurant is overlooking its beautiful colours at night.
Pros: Extremely well located. Breathtaking view of the castle.
Cons: Avoid weekends or you will be surrounded by crowds and young kids.
Pros: Perfect view from the room, perfect location. Restaurant and Bistro at premises were very nice and tasty(reasonably prices). Due to off season I was also upgraded to Junior Suite free of charge.
With a stay at Villa Bellagio Blois in La Chaussee-Saint-Victor, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Chateau de Blois and Le Carroir. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. Pros: Lovely clean Family Room. Great Restaurant and Buffet Breakfast.
Cons: The outside could do with a lick of paint, but we will certainly come back soon.
Pros: Easy to find, swimming pool. Good overnight stop. Parking
Cons: No problem
Pros: Clean and tidy enough with kids. A bit old structure but definitely nice for kids and well located. Staff very polite.
Pros: The hotel is in a quiet location with a private car park. It has a number of shops and restaurants close by but is not to the town centre. The room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: It wasn't very close to the town centre, perhaps a 45min walk, which might not suit everyone.
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds very comfy and room beautifully clean. We only stayed one night, and carried on our journey south, but would have happily stayed a few more nights and explored the area.
Pros: We stayed one night on our way down to Bordeaux. The kids loved the pool and we could sit in the bar area and watch them. The restaurant within the hotel was also good and catered well for children.
Cons: Negatives, everything looked a little tired and dated and when we boiled the kettle it gave off a funny smell, putting us off using it.
Pros: Swimming pool and the big towels for the pool.
Cons: Service in restaurant was very, very slow!
Pros: Good location to visit the chateaux nearby
Cons: Toilet was not clean
When you stay at Hôtel Le Verger in Saint-Laurent-Nouan, you'll be next to a golf course and 12 minutes by car from Place St-Firmin. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I liked garden and helpful personnel
Cons: there is nothing to comply
Pros: Location was good and easy to find,( visiting chateau chambord ). Staff very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast excellent with all local produce. Croissants and baquette to die for. Lovely inner courtyard to sit and drink tea.
Cons: We had a room on top floor , lots of stairs so not good for anyone with impaired mobility, there are more rooms on lower floors which you can request on booking or upgrading.
Pros: Great hospitality, great location, great breakfast
Pros: The hotel has bicycles for hire and is perfectly placed for a one-day tour along the River Loire and to Chambord. The staff is friendly and really very helpful. Good wifi, nice decor, a lovely yard to relax in.
Pros: Staff were friendly. Very clean
Cons: Staff did not speak any English. Location bad (in front of nuclear power station). No restaurants nearby
Pros: The manager used the phone to translate from French to english. He did a great job at easing the communication barrier and make us informed of everything and fell welcomed at the same time.
Located in Mont-pres-Chambord, Hôtel Le Saint Florent is within a 15-minute drive of Château de Chambord and Chateau de Cheverny. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very friendly owner
Cons: Breakfast was somewhat basic, boiled eggs would have made a big difference
Pros: Extremely clean and comfortable hotel, our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and decorated, the bed was very comfortable, lovely shower room. Very kind, helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious, very fresh and tasty and in a lovely. tasteful, spacious and clean breakfast room. The restaurant in the hotel in our opinion was first class, truly delicious food and very attentive service, we simply cannot fault it and would recommend it to anyone. The restaurant is very attractive, tastefully presented and spotlessly clean, tables set out very well and the food really is excellent and fairly priced. We were extremely impressed with the entire experience of staying at this hotel, and the owners and staff should be commended on running an excellent establishment. As far as we are concerned it should be 4 star! Thank you for a truly wonderful stay.
Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect.
Pros: Cutest B&B with the nicest hosts.
Cons: Difficult to find
Pros: A pleasant hotel with continental breakfast. Good reception and shown to our room. Restaurant a little "pricey", served good food with excellent service - the Waiter must have come from The Ritz. Good position. Free parking on site.
Cons: Bathroom and shower were the smallest ever found but had all the items required such as towels, hair drier dispencer soap etc. Beds were comfortable with extra pillows. Room was basic. However all in all reasonable value for low price paid.
Pros: The external and internal building was quite dated, however you can see that there has been work to bring the bedroom up to a better standard. We recognise that we prefer a standard, but felt this property was overly expensive compared to some other property’s we stayed in during our week touring France.
Cons: The fixed hair dryer was not very effective and the dryer became very hot to use, it possibly could be too hot for another user.
Cons: Prices in the restaurant
Situated in 18th century stone buildings, this former farm is halfway between Blois and Orleans. It offers en suite accommodation surrounded by well-established gardens and a pond. The rooms at La Ferme des 3 Maillets have a flat-screen TV with Canal+ cable channels. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower or a bathtub. The hotel’s a la carte restaurant serves local fish and meats prepared on a wood-fired oven. Restaurant staff can provide recommendations from a large selection of Loire Valley wines. La Ferme des 3 Maillets makes a great base for exploring the Loire region. Chambord Castle is only 15 km from the hotel. Free parking is available on site.
Pros: The entire compound is very pleasing, being able to enjoy a good supper a few metres away from one's room
Cons: The room was rather sparse, although this may have been because we were allocated room for disabled people.
Pros: It looks like an farm. Very authentic and special. The kids loved to explore the whole area and observed the antique tools and facilities that were all around.
Pros: Just lovely , staff so helpful , restaurant in hotel lovely, breakfast fantastic, felt like old style family run auberge of 30 years ago. Maybe Bly stop over but v handy for Chambord , blois etc
Pros: Excellent hospitality and a beautiful building
Cons: Nothing to say here
Pros: Kind staff and lovely room!
Pros: Location, restaurant, food, staff, breakfast
Cons: old showers
Pros: This is an amazing farm house hotel. We stayed here back in May of 2014 and had to come back to the same hotel in May of 2019 because it was so perfect. You feel like family when you stay here, like you are on your own little farm. The restaurant at the hotel has spectacular food, my opinion 5 stars isn't enough. The breakfast is a very nice lite French breakfast. I loved it, very delicious. Also the bar was always open to get a beer and sit out in the open yard and enjoy the nice country air.
Cons: Me speaking only English and no French was a bit of a language barrier, but we were still always able to communicate what we wanted.
Located in the village of Maslives, this hotel is just 1.6 km from Chambord Castle. It features a shaded terrace in the garden, and free WiFi is provided at the reception. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels feature in each room. All of the rooms have a simple décor, and some feature a four-poster bed. A hairdryer is included in the private bathroom. You can savour gourmet cuisine in the restaurant, and enjoy drinks in the bar at hotel L'Orée de Chambord. A buffet breakfast is served every morning. Le Palet Solognot biscuit factory is just 100 metres from the hotel and Blois is 15 km away. Private parking is free on site.
Pros: Friendly stuff. Nice breakfast in a beautiful room
Pros: I was so grateful that the gentleman who works at the hotel got up at almost 2 o'clock at night to open the door for us. We could have called earlier to inform the late arrival. Very nice hotel! Five star recommendation!
Pros: Location, restaurant, staff.
Cons: Rooms were clean and beds comfortable, but really need a little input cosmetically.
Pros: The host and hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
With a stay at Le Relais de Nozieux in Saint-Claude-de-Diray, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Château de Chambord and Le Carroir. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Attractive house
Cons: It was described as a Relais, so we had the expectation of an evening meal. No. We asked where the nearest restaurant was - 8km. this was too far after cycling over 40 miles. Could a little something be provided? No. There was not enough hot water for even a luke warm shower. Breakfast was poor, the worst of our trip and this our most expensive accommodation.
A former farm set in a natural environment, Le Relais de la Tour offers B&B accommodation and a self-catering cottage 3 km from the centre of Blois and Blois Chateau. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The rooms at Le Relais de la Tour feature a view of the garden and a flat-screen TV. They also include a private bathroom with a shower. The cottage features a double room and a triple room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtub. A continental breakfast is served in the property's garden. Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site gastronomic restaurant which serves traditional dishes. Le Relais de la Tour is 1 km from the A10 motorway, and free private parking is provided on site.
Pros: Warm welcome by the owners and co-workers. All were friendly, attentive and good service & they made our stay so special. Dinner in restaurant was excellent - we loved the nougat ice cream! Location is good with easy access to surrounding area. Plenty of parking. My friend and I agreed that it felt like home from home. I would highly recommend La Tour and would definitely return.
Cons: We loved everything about our stay.
Pros: Really friendly staff. Fantastic food. Very clean.
Cons: Everything was great. It's homely rather than modern but that's a nice difference I thought!
Pros: Very good home made food in very pleasant gardens. Well fitted kitchen and bathroom and a high standard of furnishings.
Pros: Bed was lovely really comfy, beautiful room, loved the garden,
Cons: A fan, really hot room, had to sleep with both windows wide open even with thunderstorms. Breakfast a little disappointing it was ok but not anything special. No fruit, juice. Egg even though chickens at the property.
Pros: Great hosts who went out of their way to look after you. They also have a great restaurant so I recommended eating there - a lot of the locals do which is a good sign. The courtyard is a great spot at the end of the day to relax and unwind with a drink.
Cons: We booked a double room and got twin singles - not a big deal though.
Pros: Annie and Andre were the best hosts. When we arrived Annie immediately set us up with wine in the garden. Unfortunately, we weren't able to taste Andre's cooking as the restaurant was closed on Monday. They were very nice to recommend another place. Our breakfast was nice. And their son, David, was visiting from Venice. Enjoyed seeing their nice car collection.
Cons: That we couldn't stay a bit longer!
With a stay at Château de Colliers in Muides-sur-Loire, you'll be 5.6 mi (9 km) from Château de Chambord and 17.8 mi (28.7 km) from Chateau de Cheverny. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We appreciated relationship and service from administrator person. He did everything good in order to provide excellent services during our stay in this place. Very quiet, historical and beautiful place. Breakfast was perfect in good atmosphere. We recommend this palace to visit and enjoy time!
Cons: Heating system didn't work during night and it was cold.
Pros: Château de Colliers is located in a very old and elegant building facing the Loire. An afternoon seated in its yards is unforgettable. The birds, trees and sky give the guests a magic atmosphere. The building itself has a very elegant decoration, giving us a feeling of nobility.
Cons: I am tall and the bed was in its limits to my size.
Pros: Great building and a friendly and informative host who made us feel welcome.
Cons: No meal on the night we staid. It wasn't all bad though. The host booked us into a local restaurant and we had a great meal there.
Pros: The hotel is in a château style perfectly maintained near the Loire river. Will recommend definitely!
Pros: the chateau is in a stunning location, the owners are very friendly
Pros: Beautiful location on the river in a chateau dating from 1751. The furnishings were well suited for the period. The manager/host was friendly and knowledgeable of the history of the house and the area. He made us feel as if we were guests in his house—very warm and welcoming.
Cons: The only flaw was that the bath, shower and sink were located on the opposite side of the room from the toilet.
Pros: It was a real Château filled with antiques, oil paintings and curiosities. The host was so friendly and helpful. You must stay here if you are visiting the region.
Cons: All good
Located in Cour-sur-Loire, Château de la Rue is within a 10-minute drive of Château de la Borde and Le Carroir. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We were very late arriving and the Owner was very understanding and waited up for us .
Pros: The location as it was half way to our final destination. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful which was the saving grace of the stip over.
Cons: We arrived at 6PM the room wasn’t ready. The shower room was very dirty. Hair from the last few occupants blocked the waste. There was old soap with hairs in it. Not clean at all. My daughters bed, as soon as she moved, plumes of dust came out of it. No niceties for the money, not even a bottle of water which would if gone a long way. This marks the last time we will stay at a chateau, however shabby chic, it’s not an excuse for a lack of cleanliness I’m sorry to say.
Pros: Not much
Cons: Bad spring box of one twin bed was old and weared out that my mattresses made me almost fall out of the bed. So I took the mattresses out the bed and slept with it on the floor.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location for visiting Chambord. Lovely setting and nice pool.
Cons: Windows from corridor to bedroom allow bright light to shine in bedroom on and off during night. Bath is uneven on floor and rocks when one is trying to shower. We would have liked some water glasses and water in the bedroom. No external locks on bedroom doors. The whole house is overcrowded with furniture- more a country house than a Chateau.
Pros: I felt like a princess. Each part of the castle made me dream. Madame Veronica is an amaizing host, with a magnificant smile, allways ready to prepare a delicous meal and share with us the secrets of Loara Valley.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Lovely place, the gardens and swimming pool are just beautiful. Really peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The staff couldn’t do enough to help you.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a little explanation when we arrived about what facilities we can use, information about breakfast, evening meal etc. We were just shown the pool and our room. Rooms could do with an update and a shower would be great.
Pros: The wonderful staff. The beautiful courtyard with a pool, and the cozy suite.
Cons: That I didn’t have more time to spend there.
Pros: I'd like to thank Madame Veronicue and Emily who can solve any problem and answer all your questions. They are very friendly and helpful. This wonderful place is worth visiting!

Pros: Breakfast superb!! Staff very attentive and courteous Home made cooking Country side location
Cons: Not so easy to find it
Pros: The home made food served to us at breakfast was better than anything we've experienced before. Christine is an excellent hostess. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone.
Cons: I can only think positively about our stay with Christine.
Pros: Homemade breakfast with local ingredients were fantastic! Wide variety and plentiful. Fun to share breakfast conversation with Christina and guests.
Pros: Great location with a tasty breakfast. Really welcoming and helpful host. Definitely stay again.
Pros: This is a great location for cycling around the Loire. The cycle routes are well marked and the B&B had a useful map with all the routes on. The breakfasts were very good. There are some excellent restaurants locally. Bed very comfortable.
Cons: Could do with tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Pros: LOVELY, FRIENDLY HOST WHO SERVES AN EXCELLENT BREAKFAST. THE ROOM IS CLEAN, QUIET AND VERY COMFORTABLE. IT WAS ABOUT A 3 KM WALK TO CHATEAU CHAMBORD AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING THERE AND TAKE THE RELAXING STROLL TO CHATEAU CHAMBORD. A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. HOST ALSO SPEAKS EXCELLENT ENGLISH FOR THE NON FRENCH SPEAKERS.
Pros: Quite an interesting place. An old farm house that has been made very comfortable. Breakfast was always very good with a wide variety of options. Fresh bread, jam, cheese, etc. Also fresh baked apples, pears, and little treats. We really enjoyed our time
Cons: Off season, it is not easy to find options for meals in the area.

It had a bar for both locals and guests, restaurant,, a patio and pooltable at the back. It was kozy and quiet and relaxed, just what you need afther a long day on the bike.. And very nice food/drinks. Thank you soo much.

Pros: Stephan very nice man Staff all friendly Clean room good bed and towels

Located in Mer, Les Abris du Chateau is within a 15-minute drive of Château de Talcy and Beaugency Hotel de Ville. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was included and good. The room was clean.
Pros: Room was spacious, quiet and clean. Breakfast plentiful buffet around communal table. Pleasant hosts. Plenty of hot water, clean and spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed with clean, fresh linen.
Cons: No signage directing where to check in and some building works on the same site. Rooms behind another house but not immediately obvious that you need to continue down the driveway to access the rooms and car park for the rental property.
Pros: Nice Place with a nice hostcouple. Very helpful.
Pros: Modern, clean, comfortable, good size room, excellent breakfast,
Cons: Used bar of soap left on basin, dirty ash tray on table on patio
Pros: Lovely new property conveniently situated just off the main road & easy to find! very friendly host, lovely room with private terrace over looking the swimming pool. excellent breakfast.
Cons: Nothing at all, excellent.
Pros: Clean and good facilities
Cons: The host sat "guarding" the breakfast and made no attempt to be a host. The atmosphere at the breakfast table was awkward with 3 guests sitting there in total silence and the host on her phone. She made fresh coffee begrudgingly and THEN as we checked out announced that she only took cash or a cheque. Like nearly everyone else in Europe we haven't carried or used cheques for close on 20 years so cash it was. THEN it occurred to me that this was a definite tactic on her part to avoid paying tax. I wonder how much of her turnover actually goes through the books! I don't like being spammed like this.
Pros: Nice pitstop for visiting Chambord, very friendly host
Cons: Hard to find, not easy to locate
Pros: The place is cozy and clean. Big plus are comfortable beds and pillows. Located in a quiet area. The hostess is caring and helpful. Surely will stay here again.
Pros: We booked this place as a stopover but would definitely stay here again if we had more time. The check in and check out was made easy beating in mind and the continental breakfast was delicious !
Located in Huisseau-sur-Cosson, Manoir le Bout du Pont is in the historical district, within a 15-minute drive of Château de Chambord and St. Louis Cathedral. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was superb with a huge choice including fresh bread and croissants and the most delicious homemade jams! Gite (Hirondelle) was spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. It was a bonus to have the use of the lovely swimming pool in the pretty garden. Our hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We'd definitely recommend staying here!
Cons: Nothing to say here!
Pros: Superbly maintained and decorated B and B. We had the split level apartment which basically means you climbed a small set of about 10 stairs to the living area and then another 10 to the sleeping area. Breakfast is presented in the apartment by the owners (before you get up) with a superb range of pastries, fruits, breads, hams and cheeses - more than we could eat each day. Andre and Nicole do not speak English but they usually have someone around with some basic English if there is a language issue. They clearly take great pride in keeping place clean and well appointed and we thoroughly enjoyed it stay.
Pros: Very tranquil setting with a lovely garden and pool. Nicole does an amazing breakfast and cannot do enough to look after her guests. Both Nicole and André are superb hosts.
Cons: A full length mirror would be a nice addition, but this is a minor point.
Pros: Our hosts were welcoming and friendly. They offered ideas on where to visit. Breakfast was served in the garden in a relaxed manner. The swimming pool was excellent. Ideal location to visit the Loire region and the Chateaux.
Cons: Everything was good.
Pros: André and Nicole were lovely hosts. Our room was newly and tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Breakfast was taken in a separate kitchen where you could make use of the fridge and freezer. The breakfast was very nice, with home made jams.
Cons: It was a little way to get to a local restaurant in the evening to eat and you had to drive . The local boulangerie was closed for annual holiday while we were staying.
Pros: Beautiful house in a tranquil village close to Blois and the castles. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming with us and our children. They provided us with an excellent breakfast with homemade products, fresh bread, croissants, cold cuts, fruit and so on. We felt pampered :) The rooms are modern, confortable and spotless clean.
Cons: Yes, the toilets were in a separate room from sink and shower (otherwise all very modern and perfectly clean) but we didn't mind, it is so because the rooms are in a renovated old building structure. You "pay" for the charm with some very small inconveniences.
Pros: Lovely breakfasts and the room was very clean....the bed very comfortable.
Cons: It was perfect
Pros: Lovely setting for a family break with heated outdoor pool, delicious breakfasts with fresh croissants delivered each morning, great cycling routes and free bikes to borrow. The hosts are very friendly and make every effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Well equipped kitchen, very clean and nicely decorated apartment.
Pros: the rooms, kitchen, swimming pool, breakfast, owners. everything was excellent!! we were very happy to stay at manoir le bout du pont

Pros: We had a large very comfortable room. The hosts were hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was simple but delicious.
Cons: The WiFi was unpredictable. The location is off the beaten path but closer to Blois than we expected.
Pros: Kid-friendly farmstead in a village just off the motorway in the Loire valley, between Orleans and Blois, with a great courtyard for taking evening drinks, as well asa garden with fruit trees and a good few playground toys for use by children. Home-made and local produce for breakfast.
Pros: An amazing place IF you are looking for a real authentic and rustic French experience, otherwise could be a little overwhelming if you don’t speak French.... invited for dinner, flowing food and wine, amazing hosts...
Cons: Partner was overwhelmed by the experience, as our French was poor, and our hosts did not speak any English
