Pros: We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The hotel rooms are modern, nice and spacious with everything you need. The staff was really professional and friendly, which made the whole experience even more better. Also their restaurant is by far the best in this area. We will definitely come back the next time we’ll be in Otepää :)
Pros: Great location, nice surroundings. There are 2 beaches by the lake, boat rental, biking and hiking trails. Full kitchen in the room, dryer closet for winter time.
Cons: Firm and squeaky bed, no blackout curtains. No sofa or armchair in the room, only 3 plastic chairs.
Pros: The food in the restaurant is simply amazing. The view from sauna on the 7th floor takes your breath away. Very quiet.

Located in Võru County on the south of Estonia, Seedri Guesthouse gives you a chance to relax in a peaceful environment. It offers free Wi-fi in public areas and rooms with seating areas. The rooms of the Seedri are simple, yet their wooden floors, furniture and warm colours give them a certain charm. All have either a shared or private bathroom and most have a TV set. Some have a fireplace. While staying at the Seedri you can play a game of football, table tennis or darts. For an additional surcharge, you can also relax in the sauna. There also is a barrel bath available on-site. Although there is no restaurant, there is a designated barbecue area under a roof. There also is a communal kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal. The Seedri Guesthouse is located in the quiet village of Horsa. The nearest larger town is Võru, located 9 km away.
Pros: Beautiful, serene grounds far from any roads or noise. The sounds of the wildlife at night in the distance made for a magical experience.
Pros: Friendly stuff. Clean room and room larger than we expected. All that we needed was available in the room: kitchen, dishes, fridge, towels, hair dryer, dinner table, shower, toilet. Very nice garden around!
Cons: “Cash only” should be marked on the booking.com confirmation.
Pros: Everything was ok
Pros: The location and venue of the accommodation was great. The cleanliness of the room was also positive.
Cons: The room we stayed in did not look anything like in the pictures provided by the accommodation. We also requested a double bed on booking.com preferences, but when we arrived at the location, the host said that they were only able to provide us with the rooms that were available and with single beds, which questions the option on the website, if the host decides on the spot what types of beds are available. The most annoying thing unfortunately was the fact that the house where the rooms were located was very noisy, meaning that you could hear every neighbour speak/walk etc. As for last, we intended on getting breakfast for additional fee, however, upon arrival we were told that the kitchen is closed for the whole weekend and they would not be serving breakfast - which is odd, as it is the peak time for tourism and especially during the weekends guests would like to have breakfast at the venue.
Pros: As I already said to the owner, this was probably not only the best accomodation on our 14days trip to Estonia, but also the best place ever. Super nice, quiet with our private souna in the cottage, very comfy, well-equiped, with lots of ponds around to swim. Simply the best place to relax in the nature.
Cons: The place is rather hidden, so be prepared to use some good car navigation :)
Kagu Hostel offers accommodation only 2 km from the beach of Tamula Lake. Guests are welcome to use free Wi-Fi in all areas and the private parking on site. All rooms at the Kagu are bright and simply furnished. They all have an access to shared bathroom facilities with a shower and some of them feature a TV. Kagu Hostel provides a common kitchenette equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator and an electric kettle. The Kagu is located only a 5-minute drive from the picturesque Kreutzwaldi Park. Mount Munamegi is 17 km away.
Pros: The hostel was really good for the price, it was a positive surprise. Host was friendly and polite! Really would suggest :)
Pros: For a decent price this place is great to spend a night before or after crossing the Russian-Estonian border.
Cons: Makes sense to add a couple of extra family rooms, where the bathroom is inside, not shared.
Pros: Võru lies away from the route that we passed, but it seemed convenient to stop in the city, so that the daily mileage was not too large - and at the same time look at the Bishop's castle nearby. The hostel attracted attention by the price and availability of parking - this makes it an ideal place for travelers. Not so convenient it will be for those who came to spend a few days on the certainly beautiful lake - the distance to the beach and places of entertainment is almost two kilometers on foot. Attractions nearby include a shop and a couple of stork nests. The room is clean and cozy. Shower has no sides, water can fill the bathroom. The bathroom is combined, but you can use a shared bathroom in the hallway. The kitchen is also shared, so if several people are going to cook - there may be a crush. Large shared fridge. Hotelier speaks Russian.
Cons: For our purposes and terms of stay the hostel had no drawbacks.

Pros: Potatoes for breakfast por fa for!
Cons: Party has to go until early morning!
Pros: Great place to get away from the city and enjoy nature. The hotel was clean and quiet.
Cons: The spa was really cold - even the saunas couldn’t help us out. The breakfast was average - not a lot of choices and at 9.30 most thing already eaten - no fruits for example. The a la carte menu in the hotel restaurant was more a pub menu.
Pros: Great value for money, appreciated the prices for treatments, nice view from the room, good location, very good spa, good restaurant, we really enjoyed our stay!
Cons: Rooms weren't cleaned everyday, advertised a special offer in the restaurant, which wasn't even ready

Pros: I liked a lot the room, it was spacious and tranquil, it had everything necessary, even air conditioning (not so typical in Estonia, but necessary with the weather we had), the bathroom was in good state, the bed was confortable, the staff was very friendly.
Cons: The breakfast was good but could have had more variety. It also lacked fresh juice. The time zones for breakfast and dinner were a bit narrow and the dinner time was subject to changes depending on the bigger groups. When some of the products finished, they not always refilled.
Pros: We were 4 cyclists passing through Otepaa. They provided secure storage for our cycles. The town is the outdoor sport 'capital' of Estonia and many top sports teams stay at the hotel. Food is basic but very adequate. The rooms were fine though not luxurious. Very friendly host.
Cons: Just a bit unnerving when the host goes home in the early evening and the bar closes and you feel rather alone. She kindly sold us a few beers before leaving.
Pros: Perfect location in city centre and right next to the stadium. Cosy hotel with bit of nostalgic feel to it. Warm and welcoming person at reception. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Hotel was full and we got upgraded in bigger suite with 2 children. It had 2 separate bedrooms, both with TV’s, one with balcony and direct access to the outdoor car park.
Pros: Easy access with car
Cons: You can hear the noise from other rooms as the walls are thin. Rooms are small.

Pros: We stayed there for the 2nd time. And everything was perfect. Breakfast, private bathroom in the 2nd floor rooms, very friendly staff, quite place, a farm nearby, easy check-in and check-out. Highly recommended if you need 1-night stay or even more.
Cons: Coffee was not that good. Beds ware not very comfortable but OK after very long trip.
Pros: Very privat and comfortable place. Beautiful nature. Very friendly staff. We are very thankful to Ms. Margit for pleasant hospitality and such wonderful breakfasts and dinners what she did for us. Also this hotel is friendly to dogs. That was very important to us.
Pros: It was clean, no Hilton but for that money I woud go there again if I have to stay in South of Estonia for a night.

Pros: Incredible location, nice staff
Cons: very thin walls
Pros: Nice place as for lookout.
Cons: Unfortunately Guesthouse had to cancel to bronn, cause the whole site was bronned by bigger institution due to my planned visiting time. So never really stayed in there and my score is not relevant (as for descrition of the place). Thank you for your attention.

Pros: It’s a great bungalow for a family! Great view from the window, fresh air! Sauna included in the price! Wifi available! Downstairs one room with double bed, upstairs one big room with 3 beds! All together very nice little bungalow! Thank you very much!
Cons: There was ants in the bathroom.
Pros: Location, sauna.
Cons: Smelly drainage in bathroom.
Pros: - very cute house, very cozy, feeling of winter and wonder :) - fireplace; - fully equipped kitchen; - parking spot; - we were met by one of the friendly representatives and given the keys, very fast operation, and good sync; - a lot of heating options in the house;
Cons: - privacy (the house has two floors, but it's kinda 1,5 because there are no walls on the second floor so if you wake up early and want to cook/go toilet/etc then people sleeping on the second floor will probably wake up) - we couldn't get the sauna going, were trying for 3 hours and it didn't get to "hot enough";
Pros: We stayed there already last year and we love it so much that we book it also this year! Staff are super nice and friendly. Pets are allowed!! :) house is nice and clean, you have everything what you need there, exempt hairdraier. House is in a quiet area but also so close to everything if you drive with cars or taxy. We will be back next year, thank you!! :)
Cons: There is no hairdraier.

A breakfast buffet is offered every morning and dinner can be also requested. Guests can relax in two saunas that are available and there is a fireplace hall with a TV and music equipment.
Pros: Breakfast is ok.
Cons: We booked a room for 3 people with a balcony. The price was enourmous 310 euro for 2 nights. We hoped to have very spaceous and comfortable room. Actually it was a part of a room, no balcony and a door to the neighbour room, like in a cheap hostel.
Pros: A nice place to stay. pleasant stuff.
Pros: Quiet, clean and spacious
Cons: I liked everything
Pros: Perfect location if you plan to go skiing
Cons: the furniture is a little out of date.
Offering a barbecue and ski-to-door access, Kääriku Hotel is situated in Kääriku. Guests can enjoy the on-site snack bar. Every room is fitted with a TV. The rooms come with a private bathroom. Kääriku Hotel features free WiFi. You will find a 24-hour front desk at the property. This hotel has ski storage space and ski equipment hire is available. You can play tennis and table tennis at this hotel, and the area is popular for skiing and cycling. Tartu is 46 km from Kääriku Hotel, while Juba is 38 km from the property.
Pros: Good location to do sports and enjoy holidays. Quiet and beautiful location.
Pros: We liked the surroundings with nice paths to walk our dogs. The friendly staff let us have breakfast earlier than the usual time which was very appreciated as we needed to head to our event. Spacey room with very comfortable beds.
Cons: The lack of knowledge in English in the reception when we checked in. We could hardly get any information. There were no shelves in the bathroom where we could put our stuff. The carpet had seen better days.
Pros: It was a quite common hotel, you had to lock and unlock your door with a key.
Cons: The bathroom and toilet were just separated by a curtain in a smaller room, so you had to dry the floor always after using the shower. Breakfast is served in a different building and in the morning it depends on the weather how easily you get there :) (approx 50 m walk). And I always wonder why there are still some few power sockets for charging your equipment (usually there is only one socket) and if you would like to charge your phone and use at the same time your PC, you need to unplug some light or TV to do that. So if you have the third device or power bank then you have already big problems.
Pros: Nice nature around the hotel. Good Place to do sport.

Pühajärve Spa & Holiday Resort was awarded the Green Key in 2009 for its environmentally friendly policies.
Cons: Dirty sheets in the bed..
Pros: We stay here only one night ( by work) and we liked it very much and we were surprised. We will come back again and we will organize longer stay, because we did not used all facility’s. 2 or 3 days will be enough! I am not agree with other comments that this is "no spa resort", yes if you are using only swimming pool with 2 sauna (it could seem that it is not enough). But you can use gym for free. In 0 floor there are amazing treatment center with so many procedures. You can use bowling( for good price).Romantic Tower cafe with nice view to lake and parks ( make your stay very private and special, can happened that you can be only one guest were). Food they serve are amazing (we tried salmon and “upside down cheese cake”) their "Pyhajärve wine" is well taste( especially white). Manor high sealing’s and enough space and room- this all make your stay very comfortable. You will be surrounded with 2 lakes and parks. I could imagine how nice it will be to stay here in summer or in September. Perfect helpful staff doing their best. ( at the reception, in the pub and at treatment center)Rooms were clean. Bed lines and towels snowing white. Very rich choice at breakfast. (backed salmon, eggs, pancakes, herring, sausages, fruits..).All dinners in pub vere good too(simple and taste)! You can reach them with free busses from Tartu and Valga and they have huge free parking slot even for travel busses. Very good quality of WIFI in all corners of building, that make conference and trainee courses successful. Of course it not the same like big modern SPA centers in Estonia. Here you can rest from stress ( it not crowded with tourist), enjoy ancient building and nature. Here you can spend good weekend for small value of money and came back rested, looking good ( using beauty center) and feeling well and better. I recommend to my friends and relatives We are waiting to come back again someday
Cons: At 4th floor you need to wait a little bit (in shower) to have hot water. When you will get it. Attention when you get -it can be very hot! I would like to start a day with coup of good coffee! Coffee at breakfast is not good. (in thermos) I would like to use coffee machine. For example, coffee at pub is very good tasted! I would like to have info letter in SPA reception of hours when local school using swimming pool. So you can plan your visit of swimming pool at later time ( I like children’s, but many clients wanted peace and quiet, not noisy happy children’s voices)
Pros: Good location Breakfast was fine
Cons: The smell of cleaning detergent was overwhelming in our room. Average interior
Pros: Perfect quality and price balance. Nice pub. Excellent swiming pool.
Pros: The relaxed atmosphere, which is just correct and pleasant and not overdone.
Cons: I miss an open fire.
Pros: All was ok!
Cons: Cant smoke on balcony!

Pros: Very nice staff, clean room. Sauna. Very small guest house, but they offered a breakfast. There are no shops nearby, but there is a café in the guest house.
Cons: Small room for two people and a dog. Small choice of meals in breakfast. Room is without TV. The power sockets are attached to the top of the wall, so charging the phone is very problematic. I could hear pretty well what was happening in the next room.
Pros: Nice hosts.
Pros: Nice place to stay. Small breakfast, but tasty porridge. Stuff is very polite. Also there is a cute cat in the house!
Cons: Choosing this place you should consider that not all rooms has private bathroom. However shared bathroom is spacious. Also should be mentioned that there is some wood factory nearby (ca 1km), which works 24/7 and produce some noise.
Pros: Super nice, clean very good service, very good breakfast
Located in Otepää, within 700 metres of Otepää Adventure Park and 2.7 km of Väike-Munamäe I T-bar, Edgari Guesthouse provides accommodation with a bar and free WiFi as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The property is around 2.8 km from Väike-Munamäe II T-bar, 12 km from Kuutsemagi IV Drag Lift and 13 km from Kuutsemagi I Drag Lift. The guest house features family rooms. All units in the guest house are equipped with a kettle. Kuutsemagi II Drag Lift is 13 km from Edgari Guesthouse, while Kuutsemagi III Drag Lift is 13 km away.
Pros: nice location in the center of town. there is a bakery/shop and a restaurant in the same building, where you can get local estonian food.
Cons: bathroom quite small and no way to take a shower without flooding the whole room. the provided towels smelled weird. if you need something from the staff, better speak estonian - it is practically impossible to communicate in english.
Cons: No curtains at all and window in front of bed, so you wake up as soon as it is light. And for such price without breakfast, you get extremly small room and bathroom.
Pros: location, owner's/receptionist's attitude
Cons: Could of been a bit more expensive, but still better bed sheets and towels
Cons: the wifi was extremely bad
Pros: The location is really good, and the room was clean and tidy. The view from our balcony was great one and, both, my girlfriend and I had a pleasant time there. More or less, it is a good please to stay for two-three nights.
Cons: There was a bit of language barrier with our host since she does not speak English. Luckily I knew few Russian words, and somehow we managed to understand each other.
Pros: It's the best price in town for basic and clean accommodations. It also has a great bakery and restaurant below the guesthouse that quite affordable.
