Kind staff. Excellent handling of an unusual situation. The room was a bit small. Also the closet is tiny and can only be opened by blocking the TV. No room to store luggage.
close to the beach
You will need a car or fairly long and expensive cab rides to go anywhere fun
great beach did not receive my wake-up call, which was critical in making 6 AM flight.....very unhappy with the hotel
Close proximity to the beach. We stayed at the change management period to Marenas Resort. The services were not good at all.
Great location; spacious rooms; kitchen facilities; decent work out facilities. The hotel is showing some wear. Front desk and bell station are not particularly attentive. At check in, the bathroom in the original room was not clean.
The beach access was wonderful. The bar and restaurant had by far the best service of almost any where I've ever been. No doubt will return.
The location is the best.
I loved the pool even though it was not for doing laps. The view from my room was awesome. The food was great and everything was very clean.
The staff were very helpful, the suite was exceptional
The room was very small comparing to other hotels of same category
Location is good. Nice pool and beach area. Front desk people very nice and helpful. To expensive for the quality of the hotel. Valet parking should be free, $20 /day is to much . Shower's faucet was almost falling apart and bathroom was dirty in general, WiFi sucks. Breakfast buffet with not enough options
Not much The facility was extremely dirty. The one upside was the location that it had a pool on the beach and even that closed at sundown. The door had a mag card key slot that didn't actually work, we had to use a hard copy key to go in and out. We also had to manually lock the door each time we came in and out. there was a room next to us that was empty and really creepy with a big pad lock on the door. Everything was very outdated, the grout in the room and bathroom was dirty and almost black. The valet was $20/night on top of $15/day resort fee on top of nightly rate and the valet took 20-30 minutes each time to get the car. The staff were pleasant I had no complaints about that but overall the facility was just outdated and did not live up to the photos online.
The beach access was perfect. The pool was clean. how is this a resort? They charged $15 for a resort fee, for it being a regular hotel. The were only 3 elevators and it was packed everytime. Room service is unheard of there. The room had a tv stand that fit one of those tv with the big back. Like really? Bathroom was cramped. Oh, and you have to pay the $20 for the resort valet. Smh. Not good.
Not worth 200 for one night
Very friendly staff. Complaints are fixed promptly. Two cons: there is no ventilation in the restroom and the windows cannot stay open – had to prop a container to hold the window up.
Price Hotel and rooms very dated the whole place needs to be torn down and rebuild
Everything The cleaning lady would come very late in the afternoon
The location and the people make the place enjoyable but Ramada should take its name off of this place because it affecting overall ratings. Most of the room was dirty, bathroom, the kitchenet, under the bed, side table, the windows that were hard to close. The smell of mist and mold, couldnt sleep without the window open. But the nice people working there- Viviane, the location- if that is what you are looking for, would make the stay bearable.
Right on the beach, nice hotel, great view. Most of the staff are very friendly. There is no parking and you have to valet your car. The valet's aren't very nice especially when you have to get your car back.
There is absolutely nothing positive about this hotel shy of possibly where it is located. It is delapidated, outdated, dirty and staff are rude with the exception of the bellman. In all my years I have never stayed at a worse hotel.
Water front intent as it was built Our first room pest problem noisy Ac rattling water pipe leaking toilet and more Totaly out dated second room pest multable ant roach leaking shower second day we could not turn on to shower arrogant house keeping noisy Ac furniture and doors falling a part pool staff arrogant and don't know how to handle some guest have zero understanding others disrespect female we have to call security to handle just do your self a favor stay a way
Beach front hotel with easy access to the water. Valet only parking for $20 a day, charged for breakfast with tip included ($32 for 2 of us). Incredibly dirty and outdated, furniture was broken. Very loud, lobby bar overpriced and served obviously drunk patrons.
Almost everything. We love this place, everybody is so kind and the landscap is beaultifull. The breakfeast is superb. The rooms are spacious and very confortable. The matress was old and deformed. Need to be replaced urgently. Doesn't macht with the hotel category.
Great location! Beautiful view of the golf course, especially from the balcony. As the hotel is a little dated, the rooms are gigantic. I would consider coming back in the future. Hotel is a bit dated, but well kept. Valet services takes long, so make sure to ask for your car 10/15 min before you need it. Be aware that there is a $12 fee for room service. Very few hotels charge this type of fee, since we are already paying a premium for the food.
The property was very nice...green and lush...great golf. The hotel staff was very friendly and nice. The restaurant/stake house - I think it is a Michael Mina restaurant - the service was horrible...worst I have had for the price point ...and I have dined at a lot of places around the world. I will definitely go back to the resort but I will not eat at the restaurant.
The beach at Sole hotel
The sense of continuity -- this is an old-school timeshare condo, in contrast to the giant glitzy high rises around it. Relaxing and unpretentious rather than glamorous. Surface parking instead of valet. Access to the gorgeous beach and a nice swimming pool. Grounds are nicely landscaped. A lot of businesses within easy walking distance, including restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, etc. Nicely equipped kitchen so you can actually buy groceries and eat there instead of going out all the time. Layout of the unit was a bit odd -- mainly, the bathroom was difficult to navigate since the door had less than an inch of clearance in front of the toilet, and there wasn't really enough room to hang up towels. Our coffeemaker blew up when we tried to use it, though the maintenance staff was very prompt in replacing it. The exterior trim of the buildings -- doors, windowframes, railings -- looks a little battered.
