Its good clean resort and the only 5 star resort hotel in this area, Room Clean and Capacious. I Believe its good to stay for a couple of days. Quite and peaceful nice green surrounding. Its Good if you have business there or you are passing through this area.
It's a very charming hotel, staff is very helpful. The hotel is very well located on the road to Rustaq, but a great minus is due to the total absence of any signposting to find it...incredible!
No cars, green, big room, great with children Front desk too slow, problems with the keys
All perfect except, the hotel was not on the beach Yes, They must stop recomend the Global Scuba, as a diving service. Me and my husband had a horrible experience, we almost lost over lifes!
Knowledgeable and courteous staff. The staff at the wellness spa made the expereince once of calmness and serenity-wonderful!! . The pool area was especially well laid out and everywhere was very clean. The space to be able to stroll around and see and hear birds was also very relaxing and a welcome change to city life. Noise from an away day-especially a PA system, and that the visitors were not segregated from the guest accommodation. The meditation room and steam room were not open throughout our stay, and with no explantation why and for how long. As a health/spa resort it would be nice to have a selection of low cal meals in the restaurant and fresh fruit in the room-and the tea/coffee replaced. The stock of bicycles needed more maintenance.
1. Great location (close to Muscat, great diving spots and Hajar mountains) 2. relaxing atmosphere 3. excellent landscaping 4. it's so green you don't feel like in Oman very poor service especially in lebanese restaurant
We loved our room, location of it, its style, we enjoyed the bikes and carts, we loved the pool and customer service. the gardens were beautiful, the frangipanis bounganvelia's. now most of all the beds were amazingly comfortable. the greet on arrivalby mohammed rashid was lovely at the begining and end the bikes need serious maintanence. we would like to have had a bbq area. we asked to use the bbq and pay a fee and it was denied.
The room was the best bit about the resort - spacious, clean and comfortable to be in.
The grounds of the Hotel are lovely. The A/C in our room was extremely noisy.
Nice pool & gardens. OK "villa" but no kitchenette, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc. as claimed in room write-up. Liked re-learning cycling to get around the complex! Location map incorrect - shows the Al Suwaidi Beach Resort whereas this hotel is 8Km inland - 2 confusing hours to find and (obviously) no on-site (eagerly anticipated) diving! Dining is limited to mediocre buffet meals in a characterless barn, a la carte in an empty noisy (rock band) bar (6 days/week) or outside in Arabic food tent. Pool bar totally overrun by flies. Definitely not 5 star eating.
