Cons: Everything was tip top
Pros: Everything was great!
Cons: Cannot find anything.
Pros: Very good breakfast
Pros: The value for money is amazing. With our family of four we had 2 very spacious rooms. Clean and with good bathrooms and equipped with a small pantry (including fridge/freezer). The friendly hosts are there in the morning and serve a great breakfast. Free parking and very central to reach all points of interest in the region.
Cons: If looking through the windows... don't expect nice views (we were ground floor).
Pros: Nice place and good take away pizza nearby if you arrive late like we did.
Pros: Excellent accomodation which exceeded every expectation. The staff was friendly and eager to arrange things to our comfort. The breakfast was the highlight of everything - full table of beautifully arranged tasty food. We will certainly come back!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Pros: The setting is perfect, central but away from the street. Ideal to explore Turnov's old Jewish Quarter, which was why I stayed. The Penzion is charming, the decor in the communal areas shows a care and attention to detail. This carries over to the breakfast: individually cooked and a delight to eye and stomach. I never had to bother with lunch in the four days I was there. One word of caution, few of the staff speak English (like most people in the region) so I used Google Translate a lot. This was well received. (in fact I spoke most English with the Turkish chef at the nearby Kebab Haus Turnov)
Cons: A gurgling handbasin was irritating but easily ignored if I shut the bathroom door, and a slightly unpredictable hot water geyser for the handbasin.
Pros: The rooms are big, and the breakfast was nice.
Cons: The rooms are very simple, the toilet and the shower are old and need renovation. I think that the price was to high for such room. When the room next to you used the shower and the toilet you could hear the noises through the walls. Also they didn't clean the room, unless you ask them.
Pros: Good room, good food, good place
Cons: In room #1 Wi-Fi signal is very weak. Some times it does not work at all
Pros: The owner is very friendly, took care of my request of a vegetarian breakfast as well as some breakfast wishes of my friend, and overall offered a good breakfast served in a nice way. The location of the pension is safe so that one can go out in the evening, and it is quiet so that one can sleep well. The rooms and the whole pension make a clean, well-kept impression.
Cons: The location of the pension does not look very attractive being in the backyard of other houses with some parking sites and sports ground next to it - putting "City view • River view" into the characteristics of the pension on the booking.com website is really misleading. The room, advertised as "Two-Bedroom Suite", actually consisted of one proper bedroom plus two beds put into a second room that was otherwise a combination of corridor towards the bathroom, kitchenette and dining area. Further, the "kitchenette" was very improvised, it only contained a microwave and a hot water boiler. As a result of a lack of proper electricity sockets combined with short cables, a power distributor was lying on the dustbin and the base of the hot water boiler fell down whenever one used it. One suggestion to the owner for the breakfast: While the way it is served as individual portions looks nice, it leads to wasting a lot more food than serving it as a buffet, where the guests only take whatever they really want.
Boasting a garden, Penzion Na Pohoři is situated in Olešnice. This 3-star guest house offers a tour desk. The guest house features both free WiFi and free private parking. The rooms in the guest house are fitted with a kettle. At Penzion Na Pohoři rooms are fitted with a wardrobe and a private bathroom. Guests at the accommodation will be able to enjoy activities in and around Olešnice, like cycling. Rokytnice nad Jizerou is 49 km from Penzion Na Pohoři, while Liberec is 36 km from the property. The nearest airport is Vaclav Havel Prague Airport, 102 km from the guest house.
Pros: Very modern, clean, pleasant, comfortable and cozy rooms, bathroom and kitchen. Sport facilities and playground for kids on the spot. Forest just across the possession. Very good for relaxation in a countryside! Helpful and accommodating owner.
Cons: Probably it will be good to have some signs on the road to the place. Not all GPS pick up the address correctly.
Pros: Very pleasant accommodation with things to do for children. Nice walks around. My son enjoyed being right next to the forest.
With a stay at Hotel U Kvapilů in Mnichovo Hradiste, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Church of St. James the Apostle and Capuchin Monastery. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Day before we arrived we received email from booking on behalf of the hotel notifying us that there are road construction in front of the hotel. We booked 4 nights in advance, If we know in advance we would definitely change the hotel !!!! The noise didn't stop from 6:30 am till 7:30 pm. No air conditioning in the room so if we closed the windows it was unbelievable warm. We expect the hotel /booking to inforn their customers in a timely manner for any change that may affect our stay.
Pros: The hotel is located next to the local railway station (very convenient) and within walking distance from the center. We did not have any problems sleeping with the window open. Rooms are modern and newly renovated - the same goes for the bathrooms. There is an on-site restaurant (we only had beer) and several others not far from the hotel. We were allowed to store our bicycles in an unused guest toilet. Breakfast was fine. Staff was nice.
Pros: I like very much the room and also bed was very comfortable, location is perfect close to the train and centrum! Staff people were very helpful and friendly! Definitely be back soon
Pros: Completely renovated - very clean and comfortable - Fantastic
Pros: The entire hotel was very clean, well designed, modern and the reception staff were very nice and helpful. Our stay was overly very pleasant.
Cons: The only downside was our arrival when the restaurant staff were a bit strange and they didn’t make us feel exactly welcome.
Pros: The owner Mr. Vapilu is very sincere and friendly, he did his best to help & communicate with me in English. Room is newly innovated, quite comfortable and super clean. Bathroom is big and good. Location is amazingly convenient! Only 100 meters from train station, and it’s not noisy at all.
Cons: Buffet breakfast is very limited for vegetarians, yet Mr. Vapilu has told me just to come to check if I like it or not.
Located in the historical centre of Turnov, Penzion Svatý Ján is within 2 km of the Struhy ski region and Dlasuv statek. The property has a restaurant, terrace, and secure garage parking. Rooms at the Svatý Ján have free Wi-Fi, a private bathroom, a seating area and satellite TV. Additionally, apartments have a kitchenette. The Svatý Ján also has a bike storage room and a children’s play area. A shop is just 30 metres away, and the nearest bus and train station are 200 metres away. Sychrov Castle is 7 km away, and Trosky is 15 km away.
Pros: The host Jan was great and allowed us an early check-in. Breakfast was fine as well, although only one option at the menu for vegetarians (for 2nd morning we asked the ham&cheese plate without the ham, which worked fine!).
Cons: Our room was towards the street on 2nd floor and the traffic noise kept us up both mornings from 5 am onwards. On a holiday & aftet long day hikes a longer sleep would be a must.
Pros: Openness friendly staff owner
Pros: Good breakfast. Great value for money. Good location.
Cons: A little difficult to check in as no reception and had to make phone calls but all came good in the end!
Pros: The breakfast was excellent - a buffet selection and a choice of cooked options - and the owner was very helpful. We hired bikes from the guest house for a day, and he pointed out a good route on our map. Cycling is a great way to explore this area, though there are some parts you can only see by walking. Turnov is a good base for a stay in Cesky Raj, as you can walk to the nearby rock city and castle at Hruba Skala, or catch a (very cheap) train to other villages with scenic walking options. On arriving too early to check in, we were able to leave our bags at the guest house.
Cons: The apartment is furnished in quite a basic way and would benefit from a few more bits and pieces, such as a bedside lamp, hairdryer etc. The wi-fi didn't work very well for us, though we didn't need it much so didn't mention this to the owner.
Pros: Location just in the heart of the city. The owner/manager was extremely helpful and really friendly. He gave us tips what to do and where to go as our plans changed due to broken leg. Made to order breakfast with delicious scrambled eggs. Strong recommendation.
Cons: Air refreshes in the hallway gave such a strong scent throughout the hotel. Less is more... Traffic noise comes through to the bigger (family) rooms. No big deal for us, but if you are light sleeper, ask for other rooms.
Pros: City centre. Free parking. Good breakfast.
Cons: Room is small and the bathroom really little. Internet connection is very slow. Small window. No chair or table in the room.
Pros: Very welcoming and friendly host. He gave good recommendations for the area. We had car troubles and the host helped us as best he could. Good, simple, comfortable facilities. Excellent breakfast.
Pros: - A lovely small family owned B&B. - Nice and cosy clean rooms and facilities. - Great location in the town centre - Very friendly and helpful staff - Close to the natural reserve Czech Paradise
Cons: A little uncomfortable mattress

Pros: Views are worth everything. They cook very good (beside risotto).
Cons: Breakfast could be more interesting.
Pros: Perfect and unique location. Clean, very comfortable and beautiful accommodation. Friendly Staff. You will love this place. Food delicious!!!
Pros: The room was beautiful, extremely clean and with the most amazing view. It was a forest oasis in the middle of a lot of manufacturing towns. The staff were very helpful. But the best part was the food - so good it was a mistake to eat anywhere else during our three day stay. The garlic soup especially was a delicious surprise.
Cons: Some soap in the shower would have been handy.
Pros: Excellent location for the hiking trips, really friendly staff, 5 star from us.
Cons: No pork ribs and roasted duck included in the menu at the restaurant, otherwise excellent beer, food and hot wine.
Pros: Incredible place for a quite rest, very friendly stuff, good food and fantastic surrounding. Perfect place for walks, especially with dogs.
Cons: My GPS could not find the adress. And when we finally almost got there the road was closed and we had to find other way and that was not easy. Where was no information about it at the place nor any notes from the staff. So thanks to the locals we made it!)
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent location.
Cons: A bit run-down, breakfast not good: flies over unrefrigerated cheese and meat products.
Pros: hice hotel in heart of cesky raj
Cons: breakfast could be better, but it's ok for starting your day

Pros: Super friendly staff, very nice breakfast, good central location and the place sparks from cleanliness.
Pros: The restaurante and terrace are nice and relaxed. The swimming pool looked nice but haven't tried it though
Cons: My stay was coincident with one heat wave. The didn't have AC so resting was not possible. The area is quite during the night so sleeping with the balcony window and door opened made it a little better. Food in the restaurant is average level. Breakfast is 3 plus. Acceptable for the hotel class.
Pros: Staff was really friendly and helpful! Breakfast was ok, not spectacular. Food was really good, and really cheap.

Pros: Bed was surprisingly comfortable considering how thin the mattress is, shower was hot, room is a good size. Breakfast is plentiful, although 8am-9:30am. TV was a good size I haven't seen much TV while travelling, however the music TV was good to chill out to.
Cons: Lack of English, however it wasn't a huge issue. Card is also not accepted so lucky I had enough euros on me. Also checking in point is a real guess, as it's in the restaurant and not marked at all.
Pros: Despite not speaking any English and only having a smattering of German, the lady was kind and helpful. Decent restaurant, offering typical (read heavy!) Czech dishes. The location was ok, about a 12m walk to the centre. Turnov is a bit of an odd town. Despite not being all that big it's very spread out with the train station being quite far from the centre.
Cons: Although it was a non-smoking room there was a residual smell of old cigarette smoke. The restaurant, for whatever reason, wasn't open on Sunday. Typically basic Czech 'penzion' room but for the price quite ok.
Pros: The whole experience was faultless. Breakfast was excellent.
Pros: Breakfast were great, rooms clean and facilities really good. Close to city center and easy to access with car from any side of city
Cons: Can't remember anything, good hostel for economy travelers :)
Pros: Great value, and it was a large room. A Kitchenette was available. Secure motorcycle parking was offered. Excellent nearby castles to visit nice hiking.
Cons: No staff were present after 2pm on Monday and Tuesday and no evening meals were available. Other food venues were not close by.
Pros: I loved the couple running the place, Honza and Dagmar. They were very hospitable and made us feel at home. We needed to do some laundry and they lent us the use of their washer and dryer, even turned on the washer for us when we failed to figure out how to use it. The night before, they asked us what we wanted for breakfast, franks, sliced cuccumbers and tomatoes and sliced deli meats that are typical to European breakfast, everything was great. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We felt very comfortable there. The beer garden is quite and quaint. When I found that my adapter wasn't with me, Honza let me plug my cell into his computer with the USB cable to charge it. Very lovely people, very family oriented. I would recommend this place to anyone and stay here again.
Cons: That it was Sunday and many shops were closed. That's not the fault of the hotel, though. Honza suggested that we go to a nearby castle for a tour, which was open. Thanks, Honza! It was beautiful!
